And to celebrate signing the speedy winger, Fulham simply uploaded a photo of a bottle of Johnson’s Baby Oil.

And unsurprisingly, Fulham fans loved the snap.
There were a whole host of laughing with tears emojis while “brilliant”, “classic” and “perfect announcement”.

“Another chapter. I like the Club, I also have information from Raul [Jimenez], who seems to love the club.
“I’m excited and hungry to give 100 per cent here.”

Ferguson has been briefly linked with an exit from Brighton this summer following his six goals in 19 appearances last season.
And he got on the score sheet again in Brighton’s 4-1 victory over the Hatters’ on Saturday.
A long ball in behind Luton’s defence found Pervis Estupinan who then squared the ball across the face of goal for Ferguson to tap home.
And as the Trish teenager inflicted more misery on Luton, Lineker took to Twitter to sing his praises.

The Match of the Day presenter tweeted: “Evan Ferguson scores in Fergie time. He’s a born goalscorer.
“If I was in charge of recruitment at @SpursOfficial I’d take a punt on him as Kane’s replacement. Apologies to @OfficialBHAFC fans”.
Former Brighton player Glenn Murray has previously insisted that Ferguson has the ability to reach Kane’s level one day.
Tottenham are on the hunt for a new striker as the England captain completed a £104million move to Bayern Munich just two days before their opening Premier League game.

In an interview before Kane’s exit, Lineker urged Spurs’ record goal-scorer to leave Tottenham, stating “the time is right for him”.
If Spurs do move to sign Ferguson in the near future, they’ll face huge competition, with Manchester United previously interested.
Brighton are set to lose more talent to the traditional ‘Big Six’ with Moises Caicedo likely to follow Alexis Mac Allister out of the club.

Chelsea ‘want Kasper Schmeichel in shock transfer’ to replace Real Madrid-bound Kepa

CHELSEA are reportedly set to make a move for ex-Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel if they lose Kepa. The Blues have been rocked after Real Madrid shortlisted Kepa as the man to replace injured Thibaut Courtois.

Courtois ruptured his ACL in training and left the pitches in tears – he is expected to be out for the season.
Now, according to The Guardian, Schmeichel is being lined up to replace Kepa if he leaves.
The Blues flogged Edouard Mendy to the Saudi Pro League, and although paid £25m to Brighton for Robert Sanchez, he appears to be the back-up option.
There is also believed to be interest in the Danish international from other Premier League clubs.

It was reported earlier this year that Schmeichel, 36, would be allowed to leave Nice.
He joined the French side at the end of the 2021/22 season after an 11-year spell at the King Power.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, Nice will not stand in the way of the goalkeeper if he decides leave the club this summer.
Several members of the squad are said to be growing annoyed by Schmeichel’s training methods.

His lack of leadership, along with his preference to manage himself, is causing tensions to rise.
If Schmeichel does depart, reserve goalkeeper Marcin Bulka will likely step up to become the club’s No 1.
Earlier this month, the Dane admitted that he would be open to a return to Leicester.
During an appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, he said: “I don’t think my chapter with Leicester will ever end.
“I still say we, the club will always be a part [of me].
“I came to Leicester as a young man needing a home and needing somewhere to be accepted for who I was and not for what everyone else thought I should be.
“Leicester gave me that, and even after 11 years there’s still something unwritten for me there.”
But it could be a return to the Premier League moves top of Schmeichel’s agenda in the immediate future if Chelsea come calling. More

Sources close to Adams insist he will be back from injury in four weeks.
But according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have cooled their pursuit of the USA captain.
This comes as medical tests revealed his hamstring injury could keep him out for another four months.
Instead, the Blues are committed to signing key targets Moises Caicedfo for a British record £115m from Brighton, and Romeo Lavia from Southampton.

Adams is regarded as one too many, especially as he will not be fully fit to play immediately.
Caicedo was thought to be signing for Liverpool when the Reds attempted to hijack the midfielder from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, Caicedo snubbed Liverpool before declaring that he only wants to join Chelsea.
In fact, the Blues are set to bid again in order to complete a deal with Brighton.

Chelsea are also close to agreeing a £55million deal for Southampton’s Lavia.
Adams still has interest from Brighton, Aston Villa and Manchester United among others.
The USA midfielder has a reported release clause of about 19m that kicks in due to Leeds’ relegation to the Championship.
Adams completed his move to Leeds from RB Leipzig just last season and made 26 appearances for the club. More

He had his head in his hands and was in clear distress as he exited the Premier League clash.
It appeared to be an ankle or knee injury.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5Live, former Chelsea and Everton star Pat Nevin said: “When a player goes down and doesn’t move there’s definitely damage there.
“He has his hands on his face and it could be because he’s hurt but also because this is the start of the season.

He is a huge character and huge personality. He is a big part of that Aston Villa – I was going to say team – but entire club.”
New Villa signing Paul Torres replaced Mings at the heart of the defence.
The centre-half was clapped off the pitch by both sets of supporters in a huge blow to Villains boss Unai Emery in their Premier League opener.
Newcastle were 2-1 down at the time of the injury, thanks to goals from new boy Sandro Tonali and Isak.

Vicente Guaita blasts Crystal Palace as he’s left out of squad for Sheff Utd just days after claims he refused to play

CRYSTAL PALACE goalkeeper Vicente Guaita has hit back at manager Roy Hodgson on Twitter after being left out of the squad to face Sheffield United. The goalkeeper hit back at reports that he had refused to be a part of the squad on Twitter by replying to the club’s starting XI and writing: “Where is my name? So how can I play for Palace? @CPFC.”

The war of words comes after Roy Hodgson said Guaita was “disenchanted” with life at Palace after losing his No1 spot to Sam Johnstone.
Hodgson said: “He’s been refusing to play in our games so far but the complication is that he has a year’s contract so it’s up to the club to decide really. Not him.”
Guaita has made 150 appearances for Palace and signed a one year contract extension in January under former manager Patrick Vieira.
But Hodgson has not favoured the Spaniard since taking over in March, leading to speculation he would leave the club this summer.
    READ MORE ON FOOTBALL
Hodgson said he is looking for a quick resolution to the situation and said: “It’s up to the club now,”
“The fact is that any player can do that, it’s not difficult and I’m certain that there are many clubs around the world with players who would rather leave than stay”
“‘I can’t physically make Guaita play, but at the same time it’s not certain that his refusal to play means they’ll have to let him go.”
Palace opened the season with a 1-0 victory over Premier League new-boys Sheffield United.

The clean sheet will no doubt further justify Hodgson’s decision to drop Guaita in favour of Johnstone.
Palace opened the scoring in the 49th minute and remained solid defensively to hold on for a win.
The game was not without incident for Hodgson, who clashed with Sheffield United player Max Lowe in the second half.
The two clashed after Hodgson tried to prevent Lowe from picking up the ball when it went out for a throw. More

Rice was effective in the Arsenal midfield and came close on a couple of occasions to adding a third for the home side.
However, a certain moment did not go unnoticed as West Ham fans spotted a hilarious blunder from their former captain.

The England midfielder tried to control the ball behind the Forest goal, but instead slipped before falling backwards.

Declan Rice slotted straight into the Arsenal midfield against Forest
Rice, 24, left his boyhood club for Mikel Arteta’s side this summer.
With West Ham receiving a whopping £100m by 2025 with a further £5m in bonuses.
Rice’s exit ended a long-running transfer saga which left the Hammers angry with the delay.
Irons fans have also been extremely frustrated with their side’s lack of signings after Rice’s departure.
But despite the mistimed error from Rice, he came close to scoring when his 20-yard strike was pushed on to the post by Turner’s fingertip save.
The game had been delayed by 30 minutes because of an e-ticketing system issue that meant the majority of fans were still outside the Emirates at the scheduled kick-off time of 12:30 BST More

Arsenal and Nottingham Forest already in breach of new protocol just 24 hours into Premier League season

PREMIER LEAGUE clubs breached the new rules on the opening weekend of the season – but escaped without punishment.A whole host of fresh legislations were brought in over the summer – which will see matches regularly exceed the 100-minute mark.

One of the changes means only one coach can stand at the edge of the technical area to give instructions to players.
Should a second join and also bark out orders, they should be booked.
However, both Arsenal and Nottingham Forest coaches got away without cautions despite breaking the rules in the lunchtime kick-off.
Mikel Arteta’s No2 Albert Stuivenberg and Gunners set-piece coach Nicolas Jover were both spotted alongside the manager on the side of the Emirates pitch during the 2-1 win.

Steve Cooper’s side-kick Steven Reid was also caught with the Forest gaffer.
Action should have been taken which would have seen all three assistants shown yellow cards by referee Michael Oliver.
However, SunSport understands Premier League officials missed the incidents as they still get used to implementing the wave of new regulations.
But Stuart Attwell followed on from his no-nonsense performance in the Community Shield – which saw him book Arteta for waving an imaginary card – by brandishing yellows to Marco Silva and one of his coaches in the closing minutes of Fulham’s win at Everton.

And fans took to Twitter to lament the officials in the Arsenal clash with Nottingham Forest – with Newcastle supporters certain ‘Mad Dog’ Jason Tindall would not get the same lenient treatment.
One said: “Make a mental note of this for when Tindall gets told to sit down, let’s observe together.”
Another wrote: “Two coaches in the technical area. And it was three at some point too. But no yellow cards. NUFC vs Villa later. The moment Jason Tindall puts one foot in, he will be yellow carded. And the pundits will be all over him. Watch this space.”
A third added: “How have Arsenal got three people in the technical area and not a word has been said?”
And a fourth commented: “The technical area rule is an absolute farce.”
