It was another impressive display that saw Postecoglou’s Spurs team adapt effectively to their new manager’s philosophy.
Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro both impressed in the inverted full-back role, a position that Gary Neville criticised last week.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Gary Neville said: “I think these coaches have taken a Pep Guardiola idea and made it quite ineffective. There is no doubt there… It is a balance between risk and reward but Spurs need to adapt.”
Neville’s analysis came after he consistently criticised Spurs’ right-back Porro throughout Tottenham’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United.

Postecoglou was clearly aware of the comments when he sat down with TNT Sports pundits Joe Cole and Peter Crouch in the studio.
Cole asked him about how his Spurs’ team are adapting to Postecoglou’s system and said: “They look like they’re playing with freedom, is that something you’ve worked on? Not that I’m trying to steal your secrets or anything.”
To which Postecoglou cheekily replied: “Nah, nah, nah, I’m just copying Pep mate.”
The quip left both Cole and Crouch in stitches.

Man Utd’s Dean Henderson to spark transfer merry-go-round with two more keepers set for Premier League switches

CRYSTAL PALACE’S pursuit of Dean Henderson is set to trigger a transfer merry-go-round, Sun Sport can reveal.Henderson’s move to Selhurst Park could put keeper Sam Johnstone’s place in jeopardy.

Wolves are going to bid for Johnstone once Crystal Palace sign Henderson.
Johnstone, 30, forced his way into Roy Hodgson’s side and had seen off the challenge of Vicente Guaita to be No 1.
But now England keeper Henderson, 26, is set to join the Eagles on a permanent move from Manchester United —  as we first revealed.
Henderson was a substitute during United’s win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, and will undertake a medical over the weekend.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
That has put Wolves on red alert for a swoop of current Palace stopper Johnstone ahead of Friday’s deadline.
And to complicate matters further, Wolves keeper Jose Sa could also be switching clubs.
Sa is in the sights of Nottingham Forest after they failed to land Henderson, and could be available at the right price.
His form has been mixed and Wolves’ new keeper coach Neil Cutler worked with Johnstone before.

Palace do not want to lose Johnstone but might do so for a decent fee after landing Henderson.
But Forest moving for Sa would speed up the process — and see a remarkable late change of keepers at THREE Premier League clubs.
United are set to buy Fenerbahce’s Altay Bayindir for £4.3m as Henderson’s replacement.
Forest, meanwhile, want to recoup the £10million they paid Huddersfield for Lewis O’Brien — which is a problem for Leeds who want to loan the midfielder, 24, and buy if they go up.

Wolves are weighing up a move for £8million-rated long-term target Nico Elvedi in the final week of the transfer window.
But the Premier League side may need to sell Matheus Nunes in order to finance the deal.
Wolves signed Nunes on a five-year contract last summer, paying a club record £38m to Sporting Lisbon.
Man City’s initial bid of £47m was rejected by Molineux chiefs, who value the Portugal international at around £65m.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
If nobody meets that valuation, Nunes will stay put and boss Gary O’Neil will have little room for manoeuvre in the market.
Elvedi, 26, has always been Wolves’ top target in central defence.
The Swiss is in the final year of his contract at Monchengladbach and has declined a new deal.
But the Bundesliga club are determined to hold out for a double-digit millions offer.

However, Wolves will have to wait for City – who are reportedly preparing to table an improved offer for Nunes.
The chances of a second bid have increased now that Pep Guardiola’s side have ended their pursuit of West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
City are having to deal with losing Kevin De Bruyne for four months due to a recurring injury.
Wolves beat Everton 1-0 despite being second best at Goodison Park on Saturday. More
