Hudson-Odoi has been getting to know his new team-mates… who can’t believe how young he is.
The England international made his Blues debut aged just 17 in January 2018.
And despite having suffered with a serious achilles injury, he made 126 appearances for Chelsea – but has not played for them in the Premier League since January 2022.
Following 21 outings on loan at Bayer Leverkusen last term, Hudson-Odoi decided to leave Stamford Bridge for good this summer.
    READ MORE ON CHELSEA
Reflecting on his early days at the City Ground, he told the Telegraph: “Everyone at Forest has been saying the same since I signed – it feels like I’ve been around for a long time.
“I’ve been playing from a very young age in Chelsea’s first team but I’m not even 23 until November.

“The journey has been up and down, a roller-coaster good and bad. Now I just want to make sure that my head is focused and I’m ready for every game.
“I’ve experienced so much in a space of time but there’s so much more to come. I’ve got so many years ahead of me.”

Reflecting on his Chelsea exit, Hudson-Odoi admitted that it wasn’t easy to say goodbye.
He added: “Chelsea has been my home for a very long time and knowing it was time to go was emotional.
“It was difficult, we had conversations but I thought it was best if I leave. It was a mutual agreement, but I’d say it was more my decision.
“Forest is the right place for me to excel in my football, and do more than I probably could at Chelsea. I want to be playing as much as possible.”
Hudson-Odoi made his first appearance in Nottingham Forest colours during a low-key 2-1 EFL Trophy defeat at Harrogate Town last week.
He could be in line for his senior debut this evening, as Forest take on Burnley in the Premier League.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta reveals new approach to Raya and Ramsdale puzzle as he hints at subbing goalkeepers MID-GAME

Arteta made two changes to his starting line-up ahead of the match, one of which saw summer signing David Raya replace Aaron Ramsdale in goal.
Raya, who joined the club on loan from Brentford last month, kept a clean sheet on his debut and received heaps of praise from Arsenal fans.
Although the 28-year-old’s arrival sparked concern for some supporters and pundits, who claimed that Arsenal shouldn’t have two first-choice goalkeepers in the squad, Arteta believes he has already improved the strength of the squad significantly.
The former midfielder even suggested that he could decide to swap goalkeepers mid-game in future – something that is rarely done in the Premier League or Champions League.

During his post-match press conference, Arteta said: “No one is guaranteed a spot. I’m not guaranteed a spot.
“We’re here to perform at the highest level and to contribute our best capacity to win games. It’s no different for anyone.
“If we set ourselves those standards, no matter what happens externally it is not going to be bigger than that. That’s the aim we have.
“I haven’t had a single question on why Gabriel Jesus hasn’t started.

“But I cannot have two players in this position and don’t play them. David has tremendous qualities, like Aaron has, like Karl (Hein) has, but we have to use them. It is like this.

“I am a really young manager. I only have been three and a half years in the job and I have few regrets.
“One of them was that on two occasions I felt after 60 minutes and after 85 minutes, in two games in this period, to change the keeper at that moment and I didn’t do it.
“I didn’t have the courage to do it and I was so unhappy.
“Tell me why not do it. Why not. We have all the qualities in another goalkeeper to do something, something is happening and you want to change momentum.
“Do it. It is a regret that I had. And now my feeling is to get everyone engaged and in the team, they have to play regardless of the competition. That is my message.”
Arsenal initially struggled to break Everton down at Goodison Park, but Leandro Trossard provided a breakthrough in the 69th minute to seal the three points. More

But he might be more worried about £115million summer recruit Caicedo after hinting at an injury for the ex-Brighton midfielder.
Poch revealed Spanish left-back Marc Cucurella and England Under-21 winger Noni Madueke sat out Sunday’s stalemate with fitness issues.
He said: “Cucurella was not available due to fever. He was ill”.
“Madueke came from the national team with a muscle problem.

Pochettino’s stuttering team have won just once this season, while new Cherries’ chief Andoni Iraola has yet to taste victory.
Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling did hit the bar as the Blues edged it, with Levi Colwill also having a goal ruled out for offside.
But Poch has detected problems in attack as Chelsea have scored five goals and conceded five from the same number of matches.

Gary Neville spots ‘interesting’ Arsenal tactic that causes rival fans to boo as they use it in Everton win

FORMER Manchester United defender Gary Neville noticed an “interesting” tactic used by Arsenal during their clash with Everton on Sunday. The Gunners clinched a 1-0 win over The Toffees thanks to a second-half strike from super-sub Leandro Trossard.

Mikel Arteta’s side initially struggled to break Everton down despite maintaining around 75 per cent possession for the majority of the game.
But during the second half they used one set-piece trick to their advantage.
Former defender-turned-pundit Neville noticed that Arsenal stars appeared to take their time while taking corners – many of which were short corners.
Everton fans and players became increasingly frustrated as a result, which then appeared to spur the Gunners on.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “I’m really interested in this Arsenal corner thing we’ve seen today.
“It’s interesting, they stand over the ball for so long almost like the referee is going to wander over and give a yellow card.
“And then at the time the home fans start booing like crazy they play it, at the last point before a yellow card or a referee intervention.
“They’ve done it two or three times, they’ve taken an age on them.”

Neville and commentator Peter Drury then likened the incident to when Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off as a result of time wasting against Crystal Palace.
Arsenal boss Arteta was asked about the corner technique during a post-match interview, but he kept tight-lipped about his tactics.
The Spaniard said: “There are different ways to attack, different ways to try to take advantage of opponents’ weaknesses.
“Obviously they are very strong in the box and we need alternatives and we found a way to open it up. You can [put it in the box] and you can still score.
“It’s about the possibilities and the probabilities that are different. It’s about creating a story in the game and the players have to feel when it’s the right moment to do it.”
Arsenal’s win over Everton saw them jump into the Premier League top four, while the Toffees remained in the relegation zone with one point.

Arsenal ratings: Trossard is super-sub again as he wins game from the bench but Nketiah doesn’t have his best day

ARSENAL clinched a 1-0 win over Everton thanks to a second half strike from super-sub Leandro Trossard. The Gunners hadn’t won a game at Goodison Park since Arsene Wenger was manager, but that six-year run of poor results has finally come to an end.
Trossard scored the winner for ArsenalCredit: EPA
Mikel Arteta’s side completely dominated the clash from start to finish, but struggled to break down the Everton defence.
Gabriel Martinelli thought he’d broken the deadlock within the opening 20 minutes, only for the goal to be disallowed due to an offside in the build-up.
Arsenal continued to push and deservedly got the winner in the second half courtesy of a fantastic Trossard strike.
Here’s how SunSport’s Emillia Hawkins rated the performances…
    Read More on Arsenal
    David Raya – 7
An impressive performance for the Gunners on his Arsenal debut, Raya looked calm and composed when dealing with the ball.
He wasn’t called upon much during the game, but his distribution was excellent whenever playing out from the back.
Raya made his Arsenal debutCredit: Getty
    Ben White – 7
It could be argued that White is one of Arsenal’s most underrated stars, quietly putting on consistent performances week in, week out.
Today was no different. White was excellent both in defence and when playing forward, linking up well with Saka on the right and providing a slight headache for Everton.
    Most read in Football
    William Saliba – 7
The defender didn’t have too much to do throughout the game, with Arsenal holding most of the possession.
But whenever he was called upon he did well to help maintain the Gunners’ second clean sheet of the season.
    Gabriel Magalhaes – 7
Similar to Saliba, Gabriel did well when called upon throughout the game and put a stop to some potentially dangerous attacks.
    Oleksandr Zinchenko – 7
Perhaps wasn’t his best performance, Zinchenko gave the ball away on a number of occasions both in midfield and defence with some sloppy passes during the first half.
Arguably his best moment came when he sent an inch-perfect ball over to Vieira in the box, but the midfielder squared it across goal rather than attempting the shot.
He still had the ability to provide some moments of magic during the game.
    Declan Rice – 7
Arsenal’s £105million man continued to shine in midfield, making some crucial tackles and blocks to break down play.
    Fabio Vieira – 8
Another excellent performance from the midfielder on his first start of the season.
Vieira was incredibly composed throughout the game and a huge threat with some of his progressive runs and through balls.
Arsenal fans were chanting his name during the second half.
    Vieira impressed againCredit: Alamy
    Martin Odegaard – 7
He came agonisingly close to scoring in the first half but was denied by an excellent save from Jordan Pickford.
He put together some great passes while playing forward, but lost the ball on some occasions during the first half.
    Bukayo Saka – 7
It was another tough day for the winger, facing Vitaliy Mykolenko on the right.
Saka found himself on the end of some strong challenges, but made some good runs and provided some creative passes.
He assisted Trossard’s second-half strike with a composed first-time pass.
    Eddie Nketiah – 6
Showed a good work rate throughout the game and did well to win the ball in midfield during the build-up to the first-half offside goal.
He just struggled to create many chances for himself in the box.
    Gabriel Martinelli – 6
The Brazilian thought he gave the Gunners the lead in the 20th minute after slotting the ball past Pickford, but the goal was disallowed for an offside in the build-up.
His game was unfortunately cut short when he was forced off in the 25th minute.
    Substitutes
    Leandro Trossard (for Martinelli, 25) – 8
Trossard was one of the most creative players on the pitch, completely splitting the Everton defence with some powerful runs and clever passes.
His impressive performance was rewarded with a fantastic goal in the 69th minute.
Super-sub Trossard scored the winnerCredit: PA
    Gabriel Jesus (for Nketiah, 66) – 6
The striker managed to find a few chances after coming on, but some crucial challenges from James Tarkowski and Myolenko shut down several glimpses at goal.
    READ MORE SUN STORIES
    Kai Havertz (for Vieira, 80) – 6
He didn’t make too much of an impact after coming on for Vieira, but put a few crosses into the box late in the game.
    Takehiro Tomiyasu (for Zinchenko, 80) – 6
He did well to help keep any goalscoring threats at bay when Everton pushed for a late equaliser. More

And we’ve no room for any additional time here either so it’s so long from Merseyside where Arsenal have won again, Everton have lost again and the match officials and the rule makers are in the spotlight again.
Be honest, after the international break, this was exactly the drama, frustration and controversy that you were waiting for.
Thanks for joining us, and goodnight.

26 seconds to go (and take a corner)
Much has been made of the 26 seconds that Arsenal took to take the corner that produced their winning goal.
Seen as clever play by many, waiting for the right moment to unlock an otherwise robust Everton defence, questions have arisen around the amount of stoppage time added on by the officials at 90 minutes.
Those queries appear particularly poignant given Paul Heckingbottom’s complaints yesterday that the referee told his Sheffield United players that they would have to play a goalkick long rather than taking longer to draw out the opposition.

    Toffees left in sticky situation
Everton’s tally of one point is their joint-worst return from the opening 5 games of a Premier League season along with 1994-95 – although they went on to finish 15th in that campaign.
The Toffees have also lost each of their first three home league games for only the fourth time in their history – and it is only the second time they have done it without scoring.

    Trossard happy to help
Leandro Trossard revealed he was delighted to play an important from the bench this afternoon with an impact that highlights the Gunners’ strength in depth.
The Belgian was a 24th minute substitute for the injured Gabriel Martinelli, but put the disappointment of starting on the bench behind him to net the only goal of the game by finishing off an excellent move from a corner.
It’s always nice to help your team and especially if you can score the winning goal. It was a great action, I called to Bukayo Saka and he saw me with a perfect lay-off and I had to hit it straight with my left. It goes in perfectly. I’m very happy.Leandro TrossardSky Sports

Keeping it clean on the road
Another Arsenal away win, and another clean sheet on the road.
It means that the Gunners have now kept out their hosts in 12 of their 21 away games since the start of last season.
And today they did it with a new goalkeeper to boot.

    Gunners sub sinks Everton
Arsenal fans were cursing their luck when Gabriel Martinelli went off injured in the first half, shortly after having a goal disallowed for offside.
But his replacement Leandro Trossard took his chance to shine, scoring a sumptuous winner in the second half.
It means that an Gunners substitute has scored in each of the last three Premier League games, the first time that the Londoners have done that since December 2021.
No wonder Mikel Arteta looks so delighted.

    Match stats from Goodison Park
Arsenal finally made their abundance of corners count, slicing Everton open with another short one to bag the only goal of the game.

Full time – Everton 0-1 Arsenal
The final whistle goes and there are barely enough Everton supporters left in the ground to signal their latest disappointment.
Instead it is the travelling Arsenal fans that can be heard celebrating, and they’re soon joined in that corner of Goodison Park by their players to acknowledge three hard fought points.
The only goal of the game was scored brilliantly by Leandro Trossard midway through the second half, and from that point onwards the result was never in doubt.
The Gunners leave the blue half of Merseyside with a win for the first time since the days of Arsene Wenger, and move level on points with Tottenham ahead of next week’s North London derby.
For Everton, however, it’s another defeat and leaves them with just a solitary point from the opening five games. Tough times.

    Everton 0-1 Arsenal
90+2. The home fans are flocking for the exits.
They have lost faith in this Everton side’s ability to find a way to make them happy.
Change is desperately needed at Goodison Park.
    Everton 0-1 Arsenal
    90. The board goes up to show four minutes of additional time, and Everton manager Sean Dyche is not pleased.
He’s got a point too considering all the substitutions and stoppages.
There were eight minutes at the Vitality Stadium earlier where there had been far less interruption.
    Make it make sense.
    Everton 0-1 Arsenal
    89. For the first time since his introduction, Calvert-Lewin finds some room inside the area but is only able to direct a cross-shot across the six-yard box.

Everton 0-1 Arsenal – Everton double substitution
    87. A last throw of the Dyche?
