Fans in the away end at the Vitality Stadium also expressed their frustration.

“If you don’t win it is normal that the fans are not happy. But what i can tell the fans is the circumstance, that we cannot change, the reality we cannot change.
“We have too many players [out], of course we are a team that will be strong if we are all together.
“Even Manchester City, Arsenal, all the teams, with a normal circumstance with all the squad fit of course can compete for everything.
“Why is it different for us? Why? It is because of what? We don’t have all the squad available from the beginning of the season.
“What can we do? For me I have nothing to say. The fans can do whatever they want. We know what we need to do, we are strong in our belief.”
Pochettino went on to add: “We have had bad luck. We had 12 injured today, plus Noni [Madueke], [Marc] Cucurella and [Moises] Caicedo. Then we have three-four young guys and two keepers on the bench.
“Okay, am I going to cry, am I going to complain? I need to accept this, the challenge and keep being positive. Of course Bournemouth is a good team and is going to compete.
“Every team is going to compete and be difficult. Fair or not fair that is the circumstance we need to accept and we need to be positive, patient.”
Chelsea return to action on Sunday when they face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge. More

Warming up the crowd before Kay’s set, Vardy said: “Where are all the Tottenham fans?”
The question was met with many boos and then Vardy replied: “Still got no bottle!”
Former England forward Vardy was part of the Leicester squad that won the Premier League against the 5,000/1 odds in the 2015/16 season.
Spurs were their nearest rivals for the title for most of the season, although Arsenal forced Tottenham into third on the final day.

Many opposition fans later suggested Leicester won the league as Spurs ‘bottled’ their best chance to win the Premier League.
However, new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has made a smashing start to this year’s campaign.
Spurs are yet to be beaten and are second in the league table.
They’ve won four and drawn one of their five league matches, their only defeat was getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup last month by Fulham.

One fan said: “Are we supposed to have a rivalry with these guys?💀😭”
Another added: “Why are you guys so obsessed with Spurs? We literally couldn’t care less about your tiny club😂.”
A third put: “From a bloke who got his team relegated and playing the championship.”
Leicester have made a good start to life in the Championship, finding themselves second with five wins from six.

His goal sent the away fans into absolute bedlam and led to one fan falling over the railings and crashing to the floor via Spurs’ rainbow flag.
The celebration even made it into Match of The Day as cameras captured Hamer and the United team running towards their away support.
One fan on Twitter gave a nod to Jose Mourinho as he said: “This is football ‘eritage.”
Another fan wrote: “I seen your man rolling down it on MOTD and was hoping someone would get it on twitter.”

A third wrote: “Didn’t notice this yesterday!” alongside three laughing emojis.
Sheffield United’s celebrations proved to be short-lived however as Spurs mounted a brilliant comeback late on.
Substitute Richarlison netted the equaliser as he headed home from an Ivan Perisic corner.
And Spurs found the winner just two minutes later when Richarlison set up Dejan Kulusevski to score a 100th minute winner.

Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie saw a red card in the 114th for a second yellow and will now miss The Blades’ game against Newcastle next Sunday.
Manager Paul Heckingbottom lambasted referee Peter Bankes’ performance after the game saying that it was “appalling”.
He said: “”The officiating is appalling. It’s not about the football decisions, just game management. My worry is that all the focus is on the yellow cards, time-wasting, the new guidelines.
“The focus all of a sudden comes onto time-wasting, so they’re dictating how we play. If you play to take goal kicks from the back, you set up one way, and if Spurs go against that, that dictates the decision you make.
“We’re getting told to just play long – you can’t do it. Wes [Foderingham] got booked for handling outside the box and then you’re threatening him with another yellow [for dissent], you just can’t do it.
“When I speak to the referees, they haven’t got a clue what I’m talking about. They’re officiating our games at the top level, and they simply do not know the game. We need to sort that, and sort it quick. It ruined the spectacle.” More

All of his Three Lions call-ups came in 2019 and he has since been out of the international picture.
Under Fifa rules, the 22-year-old is still able to switch allegiance due to his age and him not playing in more than three competitive England fixtures.
He qualifies for Ghana through his parents and he could still pull on the Black Stars’ shirt.
Hudson-Odoi told The Telegraph: “That decision hasn’t been made yet. I’m still thinking it over.

Ozil’s link to the job comes after the Turkish national team sacked Stefan Kuntz from his managerial role after a 4-2 defeat to Japan.
The man that brought him in, Turkish midfield legend Hamit Altintop, is the current incumbent sporting director and Ozil could be his replacement.
The association are reportedly lining up former Germany manager Joachim Low as Kuntz’s replacement and may appoint Ozil to oversee preparations for the Euros and World Cup.
Kuntz was sacked after a string of poor results and also for falling out with Turkey talisman Hakan Calhanoglou.
    READ MORE ON ARSENAL
There have been rumours that Altintop’s job has been in danger dating as far back as June according to Bild, and Turkey’s latest international results did not help matters.
A 1-1 draw with Armenia followed by the aforementioned 4-2 loss to Japan means Altintop’s future is now hanging by a thread.
It would certainly be a shock move for Ozil to return to football so quickly after announcing his retirement back in March.
The midfielder most recently played for Istanbul Basaksehir after leaving Arsenal to join Fenerbache in 2020 but injuries saw him struggle to rediscover the glittering form of his early career.

He joined Basaksehir in 2022 but made just seven appearances for the side before calling time on his career.
He said in a lengthy social media statement about his retirement: “Hello everyone, After thoughtful consideration I’m announcing my immediate retirement from professional football.
“I’ve had the privilege to be a professional football player for almost 17 years now and I feel incredibly thankful for the opportunity. But in recent weeks and months, having also suffered some injuries, it’s become more and more clear that it’s time to leave the big stage of football.
“It has been an amazing journey filled with unforgettable moments and emotions. I want to thank my clubs – Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Real Madrid, Arsenal FC, Fenerbahce, Basaksehir and the coaches who supported me, plus team-mates who have become friends.
“Special thanks must go to my family members and my closest friends. They have been a part of my journey from day one and have given me so much love and support, through the good times and the bad.
“Thank you to all my fans who have shown me so much love no matter the circumstances and no matter which club I was representing.
“Now I’m looking forward to everything that is in front of me with my beautiful wife, Amine, and my two beautiful daughters, Eda and Ela – but you can be sure that you will hear from me from time to time on my social media channels. See you soon, Mesut!”
It looks as though we may be seeing Ozil back in the football game sooner than we’d thought. More

Barcelona line up Alexander Isak as long-term Robert Lewandowski replacement – and he hasn’t ruled out transfer before

According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, Xavi is currently planning for the club’s long-term future without former Bayern Munich superstar Lewandowski.
The 35-year-old joined the Catalonian side last summer for £38million after his record-breaking spell in the Bundesliga.
But the Spaniard is concerned the Polish striker’s career may be coming to an end and is desperate to start searching for a replacement – and is keen on signing Isak.
The report claims that Lewandowski’s time at Barcelona isn’t up just yet as the club will not be “making any serious moves for Isak until next summer.”

The report adds that the Magpies would be looking for the same fee they paid if they part ways with the forward.
For Xavi’s side, this will be tough as the club is still in financial trouble.
Isak, 23, made a name for himself while a Borussia Dortmund player on loan at Dutch side Willem II in 2019.
He became the first player to ever score three penalties in a Dutch second-division match.

Having left Dortmund for Real Sociedad the forward then signed for Eddie Howe’s side for a club record of £63m last summer.
He has scored 12 goals in 31 matches for the Magpies but has had to fight for a starting role against Callum Wilson.
The Swedish international’s contract does not finish until 2028 meaning it will not be an easy task for Barca to get his signature.
But the Blaugrana have been long-time fans of Isak having previously been linked with the Swedish star before his move to the Premier League.
When asked in 2021 about a potential move to Nou Camp the former Real Sociedad player told Spanish outlet El Diario Vasco he needed to remain “calm”.
He said: “You have to be calm. I am. My goal is to finish the season in the best way, there is one game left and I said that I feel good here, I’m very good.
“What happens is that nobody knows what will happen in the future. Neither you nor I. I take everything very calmly,” More

Our Supercomputer has predicted the table to finish like this
But poor starts may have left their respective fanbases reassessing things.
Man United fell to a dreadful 3-1 home defeat to Brighton on Saturday, with fans booing Erik ten Hag’s decision to sub Rasmus Hojlund.
While Chelsea could only draw 0-0 at winless Bournemouth yesterday, making it one win in five Prem games for boss Mauricio Pochettino.
