It ends a run of 23 games without a goal since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
And it will undoubtedly alleviate some of the pressure for the man who came with an £88million transfer fee on his back.
However, he did not have long to savour the moment as he was replaced by Ian Maatsen at the break.
And it is expected to be an injury issue that forced him to come off in a major blow to the player and club.
Reacting to the goal, one fan said: “This moment meant the world to Mudryk. Been working so hard and getting slandered left & right by the media.
“Can see him really kicking off from here! 💙👊”
Another added: “Mudryk first ever goal man I’m soo happy for him they doubted him 😭💙.”
While a third replied: “So damn happy for Mudryk 🔥. His work and hunger deserved that beautiful goal.”

Mudyrk is one of a host of Chelsea players that have been criticised for their performances in recent months.
New owner Todd Boehly has spent more than £1billion across the last three transfer windows.
But Chelsea have gone backwards on the pitch, finishing 12th in the Premier League last season.
And heading into the clash with Fulham, they had won just one of their opening six matches.
But during his pre-match press conference before Monday night’s West London derby, manager Mauricio Pochettino took the opportunity to insist fans remain patient with Mudryk.
He said: “If you ask me about Mischa [Mudryk], he’s a very talented player of course, but you need to go with him very slowly.
“Cultural and everything is completely different to Latin people, from different countries or part of the world.
“He’s now trying to be more open, to adapt and be more involved in every situation, not only on the field but outside also.

“I think he’s doing a massive effort to try to integrate himself and to understand better what it means to play like a team.
“He’s unique. I can’t find a player to say he is similar, I can’t remember one. It’s a good challenge for him, and it’s a good challenge for us.” More

Mitchell started out as a footballer cutting his teeth at Manchester City and Wigan’s youth set up but spent his senior career playing for the lower leagues, mostly on loan from the Latics and MK Dons.
The Mancunian was forced to prematurely retire in 2009 at the age of 27 due to injuries but then found success as a sporting director.
It all started in 2010 at former club MK Dons where he carved his famous philosophy that sees him only signing players under the age of 24, starting with Dele Alli.
After making a name for himself with the Dons he moved to Southampton two years later and pulled off a string of great signings, like Maya Yoshida, Nathaniel Clyne, Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle.
That led to a job at Tottenham in 2014 and he landed Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Son Heung-Min and of course Alli.
Mitchell resigned in 2016 and went to RB Leipzig in 2018 where he was quickly promoted to Chief Technical Director overseeing all the Red Bull teams.
The Stalybridge native signed Dani Olmo, Christopher Nkunku, Ademola Lookman, Patrik Schick, Dayot Upamecano and Matheus Cunha during his time at Leipzig.
He then moved to Monaco in 2020 but had less success even though he still managed to bring in the likes of Axel Disasi and Breel Embolo.

Liverpool demand audio of conversations between referee and VAR leaving Premier League rivals fuming at approach

LIVERPOOL have demanded the audio of the conversations between ref Simon Hooper and VAR Darren England after their wrongly-disallowed goal at Spurs. In the latest ratcheting up of their campaign against PGMOL chiefs, the Anfield club made the “formal request” for the full audio recording of the discussions between the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Stockley Park in the aftermath of the incident.
Liverpool have demanded the audio from the decision to rule out Luis Diaz’s goalCredit: Premier League
It comes after Liverpool said there was a “clear need for escalation and resolution” over the catalogue of mistakes that led to Luis Diaz’ strike being ruled out.
But Liverpool’s antagonistic approach has raised the hackles of Prem rivals who are privately accusing the Merseysiders of attempting to  corral officials to give them the benefit of the doubt in future matches.
Club chiefs know that neither PGMOL nor Prem chiefs can respond to Liverpool’s attack on the refs’ body without pouring oil on the flames, giving the Anfield outfit a “free hit”.
There is, though, growing disquiet at the feeling that Liverpool are putting pressure on future referees rather than accepting they were on the wrong end of a dreadful decision.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
It is understood that refs’ boss Howard Webb – who apologised to Liverpool for the error on Saturday evening – is keen to demonstrate that this was a significant cock-up rather than a conspiracy.
League chiefs, though, feel that the full review process – including potential changes in the communications between VARs and referees that might prevent a recurrence – needs to be completed before the audio recording is made available.
Former Prem ref Dermot Gallagher, the unofficial voice of PGMOL, told Sky Sports News that the decision was “the wrong call, 100 per cent” but was simply “a mistake, a very bad mistake, but that was it”.
He added: “The only thing I can say is that we have to learn from it.

“There’s no way this can ever happen again.”
It was believed that England had informed Hooper of his error when the ball next went out of play, meaning that there was nothing the referee could do to make amends.
Gallagher, though, insisted: “I’ve been assured that at no point did he tell the referee he had made a mistake.
“The referee did not know from minute 34 to half-time that he had made a mistake.” More

The League Two club are part-owned by Giggs, Scholes, Butt and the Nevilles – who each own ten per cent.
Since their takeover in 2014, they have led the club from the lower reaches of non-league to being promoted to the EFL in 2019 – when David Beckham, another ’92 member, became a shareholder.
The team are known to recruit people they know in key positions such as Neil Wood – a former United youngster and under-23 coach who is Salford’s current manager.
And six and half years ago they added former team-mate Chris Casper as sporting director.

Casper was a promising defender, making a few appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
After a number of loan spells, Casper left the club permanently for Reading early in United’s 1998/99 Treble-winning season.
Sadly, he was forced to retire in 2000 after suffering a double leg fracture following a challenge from Cardiff’s Richard Carpenter.

More than four years later, he secured undisclosed compensation in an out-of-court settlement with Carpenter.

Casper quickly turned his attention to coaching with spells with Team Bath, Bury, Bradford and Grimsby.
Now as sporting director at Salford, who are 20th in League Two, the club has enjoyed two promotions and two Wembley trips during his time at the club.
Explaining the role, Casper told the MEN: “In essence, the role is to oversee the football side of the club.
“That starts with the owners identifying what they are looking to achieve, how they are looking to achieve it, what the long-term vision is and how we are going to achieve it.
“You work with the owners, you identify the playing style, which influences the manager you hire, and you recruit the players who can fit into that philosophy.
“You are overseeing everything from a football perspective, recruitment, medical, sport science, etc.
“You take a lot of work away from the manager so he can focus on working with the players.
“So, dealing with agents and other parts of the club, they don’t have to worry about it.” More
