Lockyer, 29, suffered a cardiac arrest and was treated on the pitch before being taken to hospital.
The match was abandoned with both sets of players unwilling to continue after the traumatic scenes.
But now the Kenilworth Road team have released a statement to say the match will be replayed from the beginning again.
However, a date in the fixture list has not been arranged just yet.

Luton tweeted: “The Premier League Board has decided that last Saturday’s fixture with AFC Bournemouth will be replayed in full.
“The game will be rescheduled for later in the season, with a date to be confirmed following consultation with relevant parties.
“The Luton Town ticket office would like to add that ticketing information regarding the rearranged game will be announced in due course.”
The Premier League added: “The decision to abandon the match in the 59th minute was made collectively between the match officials, players, managers from both clubs and the Premier League.

“The League would like to thank the medical staff and all those involved for their swift actions in responding to what was an extremely upsetting situation for everyone.
“We wish Tom a continued recovery and our thoughts are with him, his family and all those at Luton Town FC.”
Lockyer – who also collapsed in May’s Championship Play-Off final at Wembley which led to a surgery in June – went down off the ball against the Cherries.
Medics immediately rushed on to treat him with CPR and a defibrillator as Luton boss Rob Edwards implored the players to move away.
The 16-cap Wales international was responsive when he was taken off on a stretcher and is stable.
The Hatters then confirmed he had sustained a cardiac arrest and an update on Sunday stated their skipper remained in hospital for further scans and tests.
Both Christian Eriksen and Fabrice Muamba, who experienced similar scares on the football field, sent messages of support to Lockyer.
Manchester United ace Eriksen said: “I’ve read and seen what’s happened and I hope he’s OK, takes his time, is in a healthy way and his family are there to support him.
“My advice to him would be to make the best decision you can.
“If the doctors tell you to do something else then you’ve got to respect it and see what you can do.
“He has to make the decision with his family, but he should take his time and focus on himself.”

Muamba, whose heart stopped beating for 78 minutes in 2012, added: “Wishing you a speedy recovery, Tom Lockyer.
“It’s great to hear you are responsive and alert. Rest up and God willing you recover well. Thinking of you and your family today.”

Dragusin’s agent Florin Manea revealed this week he has had discussions with the North Londoners over his £26million-rated client.
Manea said: “With Tottenham it was just a discussion about Radu. There is an interest from them, we will see what will happen in the next period.”

Granit Xhaka reveals his heartbreaking comment to Mikel Arteta about Arsenal fans when star was on brink of transfer

GRANIT XHAKA has revealed his anguished words to Mikel Arteta when he was sure his darkest days at Arsenal would mean a transfer. The midfielder says his “heart and soul” had gone and his “bags were already packed” to leave too – after he was stripped of the club captaincy and booed by Gunners’ fans.

Some pundits reckon Xhaka is in the form of his life with the Bundesliga leadersCredit: Rex
But everything changed once Arteta arrived as boss in December 2019.
And although Xhaka is delighted he did finally depart to join Bayer Leverkusen last summer, he has nothing but praise for the Spaniard.
The Switzerland captain, 31, told The Athletic: “I had many black days, sitting in my hotel room for away games, realising what had happened… I was completely devastated.
“The club showed me little respect even though I was the captain. It was clear they wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible, apart from one person: Mikel Arteta.

“When I met him for the first time, my bags were already packed and I was about to hop on a plane.
“With my heart and soul, I had already left the club. I said to him, ‘The solution is for me to go’. Mikel told me he wanted me to stay.”
Even then, Xhaka’s dad insisted his son should move – “for the first time ever, he told me to run away”.
However, the hardman’s second meeting with Arteta persuaded him to remain.

Xhaka said: “I could not imagine myself playing for Arsenal again. I said to him, ‘I just want to be somewhere where the fans don’t boo me’.
“But he was so convincing. For the first time in my life, I took a decision without talking to my family first. I got up and said, ‘OK, I’ll stay’.
“We embraced and, from that day on, I returned to training and it was like nothing ever happened.”
Previous Gunners’ manager Unai Emery had stripped Xhaka of the captaincy following the player’s angry reaction to being booed by fans.
Under fire for his performances, the ex-Borussia Monchengladbach star riled home supporters even more after he was hauled off as Crystal Palace earned a 2-2 comeback draw at the Emirates in November 2019.
However, Arteta’s appointment revived both Arsenal and Xhaka’s career.
And he believes he would have bowed out with a Premier League winner’s medal – had midfield partner Thomas Partey and centre-back William Saliba not suffered injuries during the run-in as Manchester City roared back on gther way to the Treble.

And although Xhaka’s scintillating form has helped Leverkusen lead the Bundesliga ahead of Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich, he is looking forward to an Arsenal reunion at Christmas.
He aims to see the Gunners take on West Ham at the Emirates on December 28 as a “chance to say goodbye to the players, the staff and the supporters properly”. More

Man Utd legend Dimitar Berbatov names shock Arsenal star as his successor as fans ‘laugh and cry at the same time’

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Dimitar Berbatov has left fans in stitches by suggesting Kai Havertz is his successor. The former striker believes no other player in the Premier League emulates his style of play more than the Arsenal midfielder.

Berbatov was known for his laid-back style and a brilliant first touch, while he also had an eye for goal with 94 Prem goals to his name.
Havertz ticks all those boxes after recently rediscovering his goalscoring touch with the Gunners.
He has four goals in his last seven games but some fans still found Berbatov’s claim amusing.
One reacted saying: “I know he’s talking about style of play but Berbatov saying Haverz is similar to him made me laugh and cry at the same time.”

    Another added: “Blasphemy.”
A third wrote: “What is he smoking 😂”
And another commented: “Just like how a bird is the closest to a dinosaur.”

Carabao Cup set to make TV history next season with huge change that will see EVERY match shown live

EVERTON, Fulham, Port Vale and Middlesbrough fans were left frustrated with Sky Sports only showing Chelsea’s Carabao Cup quarter-final with Newcastle. This is because Sky can only show two live matches per round with Liverpool’s tie with West Ham the other live game to be screened.
Fans can expect some major changes to the Carabao Cup coverageCredit: Rex
But all that will change next season as part of the EFL’s huge £935million, five-year deal with Sky.
A total of 1,059 EFL matches are set to be broadcast and that will include all 93 Carabao Cup matches, from the first round to the final.
Incredibly, each 127 EFL Trophy matches will be shown.
But the other big difference will be the huge number of EFL games each weekend, with five from the Championship and five from League One and League Two.
    Read More on Football
But those worried that the schedules will go haywire in a desperate attempt to stage all the matches at different times should not fear.
SunSport can reveal that the current plan is that the vast majority of live EFL matches next season will all be staged at 12.30pm on a Saturday.
This means lots of games will all be shown at exactly the same time.
There will be Friday evening and Sunday afternoon slots on occasions, just like there is now.

But after much thought, the EFL are extremely unlikely to have Saturday and Sunday evening matches, which would be hugely unpopular with travelling fans.
Everton are set to host Fulham at Goodison Park tonight following a stunning run of form in the Premier League despite the Toffees’ recent 10-point deduction.
And Port Vale will be looking to carry on their Cinderella Story against Middlesbrough at Vale Park. More
