Tyler Alexander-Arnold – brother of star Trent – was also attacked
The pair had just sat down to eat breakfast with three pals when they were ambushed by the masked robbers.
Tyler – brother of Liverpool star Trent – was smacked in the head with a baseball bat so hard the handle broke off.
While Man Utd ace Marcus’ brother Dane “feared for his life” after a shotgun was pointed at his face.
The masked raiders then made off with a £70,000 Range Rover and jewellery including a £20,000 Rolex.

Dervan, 22, Harmer, 21, and 28-year-old Lemonious have now been found guilty over the robbery.
The trio have also been convicted of possessing a double barrelled shotgun, as well as having a machete and a baseball bat.
All three were warned they face “lengthy” jail sentences when they return for sentencing on March 20.
Minshull Street Crown Court were told Dane and Tyler had met with pals on January 12, 2019 for breakfast at the Little Rock cafe.

The group of five had been planning to drive to Brighton to watch Liverpool play when the horror unfolded.
Dervan, Harmer, and Lemonious burst into the restaurant armed with the baseball bat and sawn-off shotgun.
They also threatened Dane and Tyler with a machete and demanded they hand over their watches.
Tyler, who was not wearing a watch, handed over his wallet instead and the keys to his £70,000 Range Rover.
The thugs then made Dane take off his £20,000 Rolex and a £4,000 watch belonging to one of his pals.
Recalling the horror, Dane said he could not see what was happening but felt a “prick” on his back before he saw the gun being “pointed towards my face”.
Tyler meanwhile said he heard a shout of “get your watch off” before the baseball bat connected with the side of his head.
The violent robbery lasted just a few minutes, with the trio fleeing the cafe in the stolen Range Rover and a BMW.
Police later managed to track the stolen 4X4 to a property where six men – including the defendants – were inside.
Dervan, Harmer and Lemonious surrendered but no further action was taken against the other three men.
During a search of the home, officers discovered the ski masks used in the attack, a machete and the shotgun in a bag in some bushes.
Carl Miles, Senior Crown Prosecutor for CPS North West, said following the trial: “Talleko Lemonious, Tariq Dervan and Romario Harmer carried out a terrifying armed robbery at a café in broad day light.
“In their greed, they showed utter disregard for the impact on their targeted victims and other customers and staff in the cafe, who genuinely feared for their lives, and were not afraid to use violence to get what they wanted.
“We worked closely with the police to build a strong case against them, including DNA and CCTV evidence, which we presented to the jury. After careful consideration of this evidence the jury found all three men guilty of all the offences they faced.

“I would like to thank the victims for their help in bringing these violent men to justice in order to protect the public from further harm at his hands.
“I hope that the conclusion of the trial helps them move forward with their lives.”

Stratford Town to pay emotional tribute to Cody Fisher who was murdered on Boxing Day with applause & his shirt retired

IT WILL be a hugely emotional occasion at Stratford Town on Saturday, when the club pay tribute to defender Cody Fisher, who was stabbed to death on Boxing Day.One hundred children from St Gregory’s School in Stratford will walk round the pitch with Cody’s framed No 23 shirt before the game with Kings Langley.

After being held in the centre circle for the minute’s silence, the shirt is being retired by the Southern Premier League Central club.
There will also be applause when the game is stopped in the 23rd minute.
Cody, 23, attended St Gregory’s and worked there. Among those he coached was six-year-old Max McCrory, the son of Stratford chairman Jed McCrory.
Max wrote a beautiful note to Cody, which he laid outside Crane nightclub in Birmingham, where the fatal attack took place.

Kami Carpenter, 21, and Remy Gordon, 22, both from Birmingham, appeared at the city’s crown court on Monday, charged with Cody’s murder.
Since Boxing Day, Jed McCrory, 52, has been battling hard to keep it together, as seen by him breaking down during an interview with Sky News soon after Cody’s death.
Memories have come flooding back from 27 years ago, when one of his closest friends, Darrel Aebi, 32, was stabbed to death at a pub in the Luton area.
McCrory said: “He died in my hands. I was holding one of his hands and using my other one to try to stop his chest bleeding.

Spencer O’Shaughnessy was jailed for life at the Old Bailey, where McCrory gave evidence, in 1998 for the murder.
McCrory added: “Cody’s death has brought back horrific memories.
“I was in shock at how we’re still having the same crisis over knife crime.
“What you always noticed about Cody was his huge smile. He was always happy, I never saw him sad in over four years.
“He was a trained hairdresser. On training days and, in particular, on match days, he would pull up a chair and cut the boys’ hair. They all want to look crisp out on the pitch. He loved coaching young kids, he coached in three schools, St Gregory’s was the main one.
“He had such a lovely way about him and you could see him growing in the coaching world.
“He loved seeing people playing football — and he loved life. He had huge charisma.
“He had a girlfriend, Jess Chatwin, who is heartbroken. After all my time in football, I’ve become hardened, but this has hit me hard.
“Margaret Thatcher stamped out football hooliganism. I look at knife crime in our society, why can’t the Government sort this out? They took out the stop-and-search check and knife crime has soared.
“This is about people getting killed in our pubs and clubs, when they should be relaxing after working all week. I am talking as someone who witnessed it first hand.
“We’re still in the same position — and it is only going to get worse.
“I don’t blame the police because their powers have been taken away from them. We are relying on a CCTV policing system which says, ‘Don’t worry if you get killed, we’ll get your murderer’.

Major update in Dani Alves sex assault case as victim goes to cops after CCTV ‘shows ex-Barca star with her in loo’

A WOMAN who named Dani Alves as her alleged attacker after she was sexually assaulted in a Barcelona nightclub has now made a formal police complaint. Cops confirmed that they were investigating the incident that took place at the swanky Sutton club, a bar frequented by the rich and famous in the Spanish city.

Spanish paper ABC reported at the weekend that the unnamed woman had identified Brazilian international Alves to police as the man who allegedly molested her.
Barcelona-based news site El Taquigrafo also claims that it has seen CCTV footage showing Alves entering a bathroom in the nightclub alone with the woman in the early hours of December 30 before exiting 47 seconds later.
In a detailed account of the footage it claimed to have viewed, it said the woman burst into tears when Alves left the venue with a male friend 10 minutes later.
Two female friends who were with the victim then alerted security staff who called the police.

Alves, 39, has yet to make any official comment with representatives telling Spanish press he was in the nightclub briefly but insisting nothing happened.
A spokesman for the Mossos d’Esqudra police force said: “The victim of an alleged indecent assault at a nightspot in Barcelona on the night of December 30 to 31 has presented a formal complaint.
“She filed that complaint at a police station on Monday.
“A report will now be submitted to an investigating court which will determine what steps should subsequently be taken.”

It means the footballer may now be summoned to court to give his version of events.
    NIGHTCLUB ATTACK
On Saturday police confirmed that they were investigating an alleged assault at the nightclub before the attacker was named by ABC as Dani Alves.
The site claimed that the woman had pointed the finger at Alves after raising the alarm.
She claims that the attacker put his hand inside her underwear at the iconic nightclub.
She is said to have told her friends who then alerted security staff, sparking the activation of a city hall protocol in place for sex assaults and harassment inside privately-owned nightspots which included taking her to a “safe space” and calling in the police immediately.
ABC said: “The Catalan police went to the venue and when the victim spoke to them about the incident, the supposed aggressor had already left the nightclub.”
In the days following the attack, the woman at the centre of the probe failed to attend a police station and present a formal complaint.
The former Barcelona right-back, who in Qatar last month became the oldest player to represent Brazil at a World Cup, denied any wrongdoing but was not questioned by detectives.
ABC added: “Contacted by this paper, the footballer’s entourage have denied the allegations.
“They insist the information is false, although Alves was inside the venue, albeit for a short space of time.”
However, the victim made the official complaint on January 2 and Alves is now the subject of a full investigation by the Barcelona police.
The next step is for the Mossos to process the complaint in the courts to open a judicial procedure that could end in a summons.
Alves, who left Barcelona during the summer and signed for Mexican side UNAM Pumas, has yet to make any official comment.
Very soon after the allegation was made, thE footballer swiftly returned to Mexico to join back up with his team.
That means that the court may decide to summon him remotely rather than force him to return to Barcelona.
The footballer, who is married to Tenerife-born model Joana Sanz, wished his fans Happy New Year in a message posted on Instagram early this morning/Sunday morning.
He wrote: “Happy 2023 to all. May the love between us reverberate and evil and grudges diminish from the hearts.”
Spanish model Joana has since taken down her Instagram account although it is not clear if it was removed in light of the allegations.
As well as two spells at Barcelona, Alves has played for Seville, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Sao Paulo.
He is widely considered as one of the greatest full-backs of all time.
He has been a full international for Brazil since 2006 and is the nation’s second most-capped player of all time.
Alves became the oldest Brazilian to play in a FIFA World Cup by playing in his nation’s defeat against Cameroon in the final round of Group G games.
He said before the game: “It’s normal people might question me because of my age or because I might not be at my best at this minute.

It came to light after members of ultras fan group the Union Bears were given early access to Rangers’ ground to place banners ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off.
They were thrown out by police and club staff after a “cursory search” revealed the items.
A source told The Scottish Sun: “There were about a dozen items including a baseball bat.
“Who knows why they were there or who put them there but it’s obviously very disturbing.

“Cops and club staff deserve credit for making the find and acting so swiftly.”
Two men — part of the group allowed in early — were later charged with minor drug offences.
Superintendent Emma Croft said last night: “Police engaged with a group of supporters given access to Ibrox in advance of the Rangers v Celtic fixture.
“During a cursory search, a number of potentially dangerous items were found secreted in the stadium.

We can also reveal Ibrox staff and locals called cops over clashes in the area on Saturday — with reports of “males with weapons” involved in violence two days BEFORE the first derby of 2023, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Supt Croft added: “Shortly before 4pm on Saturday, police received a number of calls reporting disturbances and males with weapons near Ibrox.
