To help him keep fit in the future, Saliba has installed a gym in his house.
Some believe the renovation suggests he is settled at the club and that he will stay long-term with his contract set to expire in the summer of 2024.
However, harsher fans have slammed his choice of decoration for the workout room.
Saliba posted a picture of himself in the gym next to a poster of basketball and Chicago Bulls legends Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.

But it was the image of Peaky Blinders characters Arthur and Tommy Shelby that got fans raging.
One said: “Glad he’s possibly staying but having Peaky Blinders posters on your walls holy cringe.”

Another suggested via the Daily Star: “Love the bloke but Peaky Blinders fetishisation is a sackable offence.”
A third stated: “Get him sold.”

Some were kinder, saying: “Thomas Shelby in the background, I like that.”
However, not all fans were convinced Saliba was going to pen a new deal due to his home improvements.
A supporter added: “He’s put a running machine in a shed. I’m not sure this signifies his intention of signing a new contract.”
Saliba has missed Arsenal’s last eight games and Mikel Arteta’s side have only kept one clean sheet in those fixtures.
There is a chance he could not play again this season with Jakub Kiwior and Rob Holding stepping in.

His stylish look is a far cry from the “club shop chic” of rival Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, who prefers team-crested gear and a baseball cap.
And ex-Leeds manager Jesse Marsch often wore jeans on the sideline.
Some Man United staff were said to have been heard commenting on how “sharp” ten Hag looked as he left the hotel ahead of the club’s recent FA Cup semi-final win against Brighton.
A club insider said: “The manager is always turned out so well, whether it’s his beard or his clothing. We joked he could be a Peaky Blinder with his flat cap.

“It’s a far cry from [ex-manager] Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his tracksuits. We’ve even seen the gaffer at the training ground wearing tweed — all he needed was the shotgun.”
The former Ajax manager lifted silverware for the Red Devils earlier this year, dispatching Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United 2-0 in the final of the League Cup at Wembley.
United lost away at Brighton on Thursday in the Premier League and face West Ham on Sunday.

Garnacho, 18, has previously had a look resembling characters from Peaky Blinders.

Fans online rushed to comment on the new hairstyle.
One said: “No more Peaky Blinders.”

The Argentine prodigy’s new look also drew comparisons to when Lionel Messi went blonde, with one fan saying: “Following the steps of the GOAT 🐐,” alongside a picture of blonde Messi.
Another fan shared an image of blonde Messi under a post of Garnacho’s new look.
However, considering Garnacho’s idol is Messi’s GOAT rival Cristiano Ronaldo, it was probably not his exact intention to draw such comparisons.
As well as fans, the new look whipped up some reaction from team-mates, including Brazilian Casemiro.
SIlver-haired team-mate Antony exposed Garnacho’s new look to the rest of the squad while in training, with Casemiro showing off his surprise.
Dyed hair is a theme in the Man Utd dressing room, with Lisandro Martinez also having some blonde in his barnet.
The fresh look comes ahead of a crunch Europa League second leg against Barcelona, with Erik ten Hag revealing both Harry Maguire and Antony can return.
Meanwhile, Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer are also back following suspension from the thrilling first leg which ended 2-2.
Ten Hag must also cast his mind to Sunday’s Carabao Cup final for United’s first chance to win silverware in over half a decade. More

New Aston Villa boss Unai Emery used Peaky Blinders to improve his English while he was Arsenal manager

He signed a three-year deal with the Midlanders, returning to the Premier League three years after he was sacked by Arsenal.
During his time with the Gunners, his grasp of the English language came under the microscope.
But Emery knew he needed to improve… so watched programmes like the BBC’s period crime drama about the Shelby family starring Cillian Murphy.
Upon taking the Arsenal job to replace Arsene Wenger in 2018, the Europa League specialist revealed: “I am watching to improve my English.
“Peaky Blinders is good but it is difficult, from Birmingham. And it’s very aggressive. But it’s good, it’s good.”
It may be a while before Emery develops a Brummie twang but he wants his new gang to move clear of the danger zone as soon as possible.
He is yet to receive his work permit, preventing him from being on the touchline against Newcastle on Saturday.
But the Villans hope he will be in the dugout for the visit of Manchester United on November 6.

Emery will then take his new side to Old Trafford four days later for a Carabao Cup third-round clash.
Once the Red Devils are out of the way Villa face another difficult trip to Brighton, which is their last match before the Premier League takes a break for the World Cup.
And Emery will not find life any easier when Prem action returns as Liverpool are the visitors to Villa Park on Boxing Day.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Villa then travel to North London to take on Tottenham on New Year’s Day before the Black Country derby against Wolves three days later.
It is a baptism of fire for Emery but the former Arsenal boss could do his old side a big favour if he beats the likes of United, Liverpool and Spurs.
Emery is not quite Thomas Shelby yet but his ambition is for Villa to mix it with the big boys.
And he will understand what the locals are chanting in the stands with a TV refresher.

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua to be sold in US on King of the Travellers story after Bob Arum inspired by Peaky Blinders

TYSON FURY against Anthony Joshua will be sold in America on the King of the Travellers story after Bob Arum took inspiration from Peaky Blinders.
The Gypsy King has agreed a 50:50 split for a two-fight deal to face AJ in a colossal all-British heavyweight unification match-up – with an official deal close to being revealed.

And Fury’s US promoter Arum believes he can use the Traveller story to sell the fight to Americans – who he says are far less aware of the culture compared to Europe.
Top Rank chief Arum revealed the popular TV show Peaky Blinders – which tells the story of a Birmingham gang run by a family of Irish Traveller origin – has had some traction.
Arum told The Mail: “I’m working on a theme for Joshua-Fury. It takes a lot of time.
“People, particularly in the US, aren’t as aware of the travellers as in the UK or Europe.

We got a taste of it through Peaky Blinders and that story – I’m wrestling with this – of the travellers, and this King of the Travellers.”
    Bob Arum

“The whole essence of being a traveller and how they’re bound to each other.
“We got a taste of it through Peaky Blinders and that story – I’m wrestling with this – of the travellers, and this King of the Travellers.
“There’s something there that I think I can use.”
Joshua has vowed to beat Fury and said ‘I’ll be undisputed’ as an announcement surrounding a mega £200million fight draws closer.

But the only man to defeat AJ in the professional ranks, Andy Ruiz Jr, believes fleet-footed WBC champ Fury will get the job done.

Arum revealed smoking marijuana helps him relax from the stresses of promoting boxing’s biggest fights.
The 89-year-old added: “After you’ve been at it as long as I have, you’ve seen everything.
“I control myself now – you don’t really accomplish anything by throwing a temper tantrum.
“Maybe the marijuana helps, I use it a couple of times a week. But the best thing is that I don’t get angry like I used to.
“Unfortunately, there are some people who are consumed by promotion because that’s all they know.

Maybe the marijuana helps, I use it a couple of times a week. But the best thing is that I don’t get angry like I used to.”
    Bob Arum

“I never read about boxing. I read about philosophy and politics, I’m very active in politics. I did a lot of work to help Joe Biden become president.”
Arum divulged that he learned a number of tricks on marketing fights from his work with the legendary late boxer Muhammad Ali.
He said: “Muhammad Ali was a genius. He taught me that whatever adversity you face, use it to promote the event.
“When he first fought Leon Spinks, the press was ferocious: ‘It’s a mismatch!’
“So Ali took a vow of silence. It became a game and the big story of the fight.
“The week before the fight he said: ‘I’m finished…’ the press were so grateful to get a word out of his mouth that they didn’t attack the fight.
“It got a huge audience and guess what? Spinks won.”
