      SUPER Bowl LVI will be the 56th Super Bowl and the 52nd championship game in the modern era of the National Football League. It is the final game of the 2021 season and will determine the champions of the NFL season for 2021–22.

      When is Super Bowl LVI?
      This year’s Super Bowl will be the first game to be hosted at SoFi Stadium on February 13, 2022. 
      SoFi Stadium, located in Inglewood, California opened in September 2020. 
      SoFi Stadium, the home of the Rams and Chargers is roughly a 20-minute drive from Los Angeles to Inglewood.
      The Los Angeles Lakers won six championships while playing in the Great Western Forum in Inglewood before moving to the Staples Center in the autumn of 1999.

      For Super Bowl LVI, the teams competing in the championship was revealed after two penultimate kickoffs.
      To advance to the big game, the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams won against the San Francisco 49ers.
      For the 2022 edition of the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals.
      According to fan betting site Fanduel Sportsbook, Kansas City is was formerly the favorite to win the 2022 Super Bowl, with +125 odds to lift the Lombardi Trophy.
      The Los Angeles Rams are second (+210), followed by the San Francisco 49ers (+450), and lastly the Cincinnati Bengals (+800).

      ARSENAL and Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke is worth an incredible £8.2BILLION and has a property portfolio to match.The American sports tycoon and his Walmart heiress wife purchased the United States’ largest ranch in 2016 and it’s so big you could fit the entire cities of New York and Los Angeles inside its borders.

      At a whopping 535,000 acres, the W.T Waggoner Ranch in Texas was bought by Kroenke and his wife Ann Walton for a cool £500million.
      The ranch includes thousands of cattle, hundreds of horses and oil wells, and 30,000 acres of farmland.
      The 74-year-old billionaire’s company Kroenke Sports and Entertainment owns Arsenal and cut 55 jobs during the pandemic due to financial issues at Emirates Stadium.
      He also owns Super bowl-bound NFL side LA Rams, NBA team Denver Nuggets, NHL franchise Colorado Avalanche and MLS side Colorado Rapids.
      And he has invested billions of dollars into the construction of the 70,000 seat SoFI Stadium in Inglewood, California, which will host the showpiece event on Sunday night.
      When he secured the ranch in 2016, Kroenke said: “This is an incredible opportunity and an even greater responsibility.

      Kroenke said he was honoured to protect the American landmark when he bought the ranch in 2016. “We are honoured to assume ownership of the Waggoner – a true Texas and American landmark – and are deeply committed to continuing the proud legacy of W.T. “Tom” Waggoner, his family and his descendants.
      “Our gratitude to them and to the many parties involved in this process is immense. We will continue to preserve and protect this uniquely American treasure.”
      Kroenke is a fairly unpopular figure at Arsenal and in 2019 Gunners fans issued a joint statement calling on him to reinvigorate the club.
      The statement said supporters had “never felt more marginalised”. The club then sacked Unai Emery and hired Mikel Arteta.
      Kroenke is married to Ann, whose father Bud was an early partner in Walmart, which was founded by his brother Sam.
      In 2012, Kroenke bought another historic property, the 124,000-acre Broken O Ranch in Montana.
      He also owns ranches in Wyoming, Arizona and British Columbia.

      ‘Silent Stan’ also owns properties in Colorado and Montana, as well as an £11m penthouse inside the five-star Montage hotel in Beverly Hills.
      But his most high-profile purchase came in 1998, when the 74-year-old splashed around £8m on this incredible home in Malibu.
      The beach side property was originally owned by Dodi Fayed, and was set to be home for the movie producer and Princess Diana before their tragic deaths in a car accident.

      Found on the Pacific Coast Highway, the property sits above the beautiful Paradise Cove.

      ARSENAL owner Stan Kroenke finally has his hands on some silverware after his LA Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers to reach Super Bowl LVI.The Rams chief celebrated after watching his side stage a fourth-quarter comeback to claim a 20-17 win over the 49ers at SoFi Stadium.

      The victory saw the Rams crowned NFC Champions as they booked their spot in February’s Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals.
      And Kroenke – who controls both the Gunners and Rams through his KSE group – beamed with delight as he hoisted the George Halas Trophy aloft.
      The joke wasn’t lost on Arsenal fans, who might have seen their side lift the FA Cup in 2020 but haven’t claimed a Premier League trophy since 2003/4.

      But the social media phenom is already thinking about life after the sweet science, in which he hopes to play American Football at the highest level.
      He told ESPN’s Stephen A Smith: “Stephen, I can run a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
      “You don’t think the Browns would draft me? Come on now, I can play Free Safety!”
      When asked what position he’d like to play, Paul told Smith: “Wide Receiver, I got hands.
      “If you get me some of those sticky Nike gloves, I’ll be up in there scoring touchdowns. You’ll see me on SportsCenter highlight reels.”
      Paul, 25, stretched his professional record to an unblemished 5-0 last month with a viral KO of former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

      The Problem Child wants to continue facing big-name fighters and hopes to round off his career with a world title in tow.
      He said: “The sky is the limit for me right now and if I want to accomplish something it’s all about me being able to do that and me making the commitment and putting in the work required to do that.
      “But I think right now, going to 10-0, being undefeated, fighting some big names, making history and maybe taking a world championship belt from somebody just to say I did it, and retiring at 10-0.”
      Paul has seemingly turned his attention away from boxing to potentially competing in mixed martial arts.

      At one point, in round two, Williams landed a right hand and then pushed Gore into the ropes and almost out of the ring.
      But Gore got his own back and shoved the basketballer to the floor just moments later.
      Williams scored the only knockdown, with a standing count, in round three after the ropes kept Gore up.
      Both men swung haymakers right until the end and looked absolutely knackered by the end of it.
      Williams, 37, has owned the Fortis MMA gym in Dallas since 2015 and has been training there ever since.
      Similarly, Gore, 38, has been using boxing training since 2005 as part of his regime.

      Who owns the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Meet the billionaire Glazer family

      THIS could be the Glazer family’s most successful year on both sides of the Atlantic since 2003, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last won the Super Bowl and Manchester United won the Premier League.The Buccaneers – owned by the Glazer family – thumped the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 to win the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

      Tom Brady threw three touchdowns, giving the evergreen 43-year-old quarterback a record-extending seventh championship ring.
      The only team to play a Super Bowl on their home field, the Buccaneers made the most of the opportunity as they were crowned champions for the first time since January, 2003.
      They beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9.
      Co-owner Joel Glazer accepted the Vince Lombardi Trophy as confetti showered the on-field stage.

      Who are the Glazers?
      The Glazer family has owned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 1995, when American tycoon Malcolm Glazer paid a then-record $192million for the franchise.
      He also acquired Manchester United as he looked to expand his business empire on both sides of the Atlantic.
      Glazer acquired ownership of United in a £790m takeover by gradually buying out shareholders between 2003 and 2005.
      He had a net worth of £3.19bn when he died in 2014.
      The family’s ownership of United has been a point of controversy for almost two decades.
      Ever since the American family took charge of the Red Devils there have been fan protests, with many supporters fearing that the club has moved away from its traditional local values.
      Despite a public offering of United on the New York Stock Exchange in 2012, the Glazers remain in control approaching the 16th anniversary of their takeover.
      After the success of the Buccaneers, United is mounting its best title challenge since winning its record 20th English league trophy in 2013.
      Here’s a profile of the Glazer family and their various business ventures:
      Avram Glazer

      Known as Avie, the eldest child of Malcolm and Linda Glazer has been co-chairman of United, with brother Joel, since 2005.
      His earlier business career included being chairman and chief executive of the Zapata Corporation, which was founded by George W Bush.
      He is co-owner of The Tampa Bay Buccaneers with his siblings but is not listed as a chairman.
      In December 2021, Glazer purchased a franchise from the brand-new T20 league in the United Arab Emirates.
      “I am very excited to be a part of UAE T20 at its formation. UAE T20 promises to be a world-class event that will be transformative to the growth of cricket in the Emirates,” he said.
      The UAE T20 league is a six-team competition and will run for the first time between February and March 2022.Joel Glazer

      As well as his involvement with United, Joel is co-chairman, with brothers Bryan and Edward, of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFL franchise the family bought in 1995.
      The Buccaneers website states he oversees the day-to-day operations of the franchise.
      Under their tenure, the Buccaneers won their first Super Bowl in 2003 and opened a new stadium where home team touchdowns are marked by cannons firing from a 103-foot replica pirate ship.

      Bryan is co-chairman and a former Zapata executive.
      He takes control of a lot of the day-to-day running of the NFL team and had a big role in the design and construction of the Raymond James Stadium.
      The team’s website states he is “working tirelessly to support the Buccaneers franchise and brand”.
      In 2015, he made a $4million contribution to setting up the Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center in Tampa.Kevin Glazer 
      Kevin is co-chairman of First Allied Corporation, the real estate company which is the foundation of the family’s fortune.
      He is also the director of a banking firm, a commercial refrigeration business and the Houlihan’s restaurant chain.
      Darcie Glazer Kassewitz

      Darcie is the executive vice-present of First Allied Corporation.
      She is co-president and main driving force of the Glazer Family Foundation which established a Children’s Museum in Tampa and does a lot of philanthropic work in the city, much of it linked to the Bucs.
      The team’s website states she is the “driving force behind many of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ innovative, forward-thinking fan engagement and community outreach initiatives, retail activation, and facility design”.

      Edward Glazer
      Edward is the co-president of the Glazer Family Foundation.
      The Glazers are known as supporters of Donald Trump, but although Ed hosted a fundraiser for Trump and donated $250,000 to his inaugural committee, but also gave $5,400 to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
      He cashed in £30m of United shares in December 2014, barely six months after his father Malcolm’s death.
      He is owner and co-chairman of the Buccaneers.

      The first match at the new ground was an Under-18s match between Spurs and Southampton on March 24, 2019, which was won 3-1 by Tottenham, with J’Neil Bennett scoring the first goal.
      A week later, Crystal Palace were the first Premier League opponents at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Son-Heung min scoring the first goal in a 2-0 win.
      And Anthony Joshua’s fight against Oleksandr Usyk is the latest big event to be hosted at the North London ground.
      How big is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
      The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a capacity of 62,850.
      That makes it bigger than fierce rivals Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, which holds just 60,260.
      But chairman Daniel Levy said on the morning of the opening that the capacity had nothing to do with getting one over on the Gunners.
      He commented: “It’s nothing to do with Arsenal.
      “All I can say is we wanted to build a stadium that had a minimum capacity of 60,000, and we managed to get it to 62,000.
      “I don’t think you can be a big club in a 36,000-seater stadium.

      “This is a 62,000-seater stadium – the second biggest [club stadium] in the UK – and I think our fans deserve it, and our players deserve to play in front of a big audience.
      “I’m obviously proud, but I’m proud for all our fans. I think we’re delivering something which is great for them, great for our players, and it’s great for London.
      “This is an iconic stadium.
      “I take a long-term view. It’s very hard to be right at the top, but we are one of the biggest clubs in the world and we will continue growing.
      “We want to be there and we want to win.”
