      PAIGE VANZANT has vowed to celebrate her first bare-knuckle boxing win with pint of beer when she makes her fight return in London. The ex-UFC contender lost her opening two bouts in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship ring.

      But VanZant hopes three is the lucky number when she faces Charisa Sigala in her comeback fight on August 20.
      And with the bout taking place at Wembley Arena, the American has plenty of choices when picking a post-fight boozer.
      VanZant, 28, told SunSport: “I have not had British beer! I had a lot of Guinness while I was in Ireland, a lot. 
      “But I will be ready for my first drink after this fight, so definitely someone in London is going to see me in a pub.”

      The part-time professional wrestler lost her opening BKFC fight against Britain Hart, 32, who is now 5-3.
      And last July, she faced Rachael Ostovich, 31, in a rematch of the UFC fight VanZant won in 2019.
      This time Ostovich had her hand raised, leaving VanZant 0-2 in the rind and refusing to let it lay.

      VanZant confirms she is entering the final fight in her current BKFC contract under promoter Dave Feldman.
      And there has been speculation regarding her future after she signed for All Elite Action Wrestling and featured in an upcoming horror movie.

      But VanZant, who earns more in BKFC than she did in the UFC, has no plans to hang up her gloves just yet.
      She said: “Honestly, I’m having a lot of fun in boxing and I don’t know exactly what opportunities will develop after this contract ends. 
      “But I know I can’t leave BKFC without a win, so I’m going for a win on this one, for sure and God forbid if it doesn’t happen, I’m going to keep fighting for them.
      “Even if I do go out there with a phenomenal performance, get a first-round knockout – which is what I’m aiming for – if that happens, how can you leave after a performance like that?
      “That excitement and that thrill, I’m having a great time with BKFC, the opportunities obviously open when you’re a free agent, you have a lot of things going on.

      Conor McGregor would be tougher fight for Jake Paul than former rival Nate Diaz, claims UFC legend Michael Bisping

      FORMER UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping has tipped Conor McGregor as a tougher opponent for Jake Paul over Nate Diaz.Youtube star-turned-boxer Paul has beaten former UFC stars Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren inside the boxing ring and has set his sights on a bout with McGregor or Diaz in the future.
      McGregor and Diaz fought twice with both fighters winning a bout.
      Paul has a record of 5-0, and is due to fight his first professional boxer, Hasim Rahman Jr, in August.
      Bisping won the UFC Middleweight Championship in 2016 when he defeated Luke Rockhold.
      With McGregor making the switch the boxing back in 2017, Bisping believes the Dubliner’s technique and boxing IQ makes him the superior opponent over Diaz.
      Speaking on his Youtube channel, the Manchester native said: “When it comes to power, precision, and actual technique of the shots, I give McGregor the advantage.
      “Yes, Diaz can bang. Yes, Diaz wobbled McGregor in that first fight.
      “That’s how he was able to finish him with the rear-naked choke. And he’s always got great boxing with a high output. But I don’t think, No.1, it’s as technical as McGregor’s, and it certainly isn’t as explosive. So, I give the striking advantage to Conor McGregor.”
      Despite Bisping’s assertion, a Diaz bout remains the more likely option for Paul.
      Diaz will be out of contract with the UFC after his fight with the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev meaning he will be free to negotiate a boxing match with Paul.
      Paul echoed Bisping saying that he too believes McGregor would be a tougher opponent to test his boxing credentials.
      Speaking to Morning Combat, the Ohio native said: “I think Conor is the tougher fight because of his experience in the ring with Floyd Maayweather.”

      TOMMY FURY has been given fresh hope in his bid to fight Jake Paul with Showtime still interested in rescheduling the grudge match. The celebrity boxing rivals first signed to face each other last December but Fury pulled out after suffering a broken rib in training.

      ANY boxer planning to try their hand at MMA may want to think twice following throwback footage of Conor McGregor sparring Patrick Hyland.Hyland is no stranger to a scrap after being crowned the boxing WBF featherweight champion in 2011.

      But he looked a fish out of water after stepping inside the cage to take on the Notorious as his Straight Blast Gym in Dublin.
      With the pair padded up, McGregor instantly went straight for the body and took Hyland down to the canvas.
      The 38-year-old fellow Irishman knew he was in instant trouble and can be heard shouting: “What do I do? I don’t know what to do.”
      McGregor, who has not fought since suffering a horrific injury in his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, remains in total control of their session and even takes it easy on his opponent.
      Hyland showed glimpses of the fighter he once was by throwing a couple of testing jabs but nothing to trouble the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champ.
      McGregor even managed to laugh at the boxer when Hyland attempted a takedown of his own.
      The footage was leaked online by the 33-year-old’s head coach John Kavanagh but Hyland appeared to take the beating in good spirits.
      The same can’t be said about McGregor’s former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi who had a major fallout with the Notorious over a leaked sparring video in 2017.

      McGregor is ‘way ahead of schedule’ in his recovery according to manager Audie Attar, after shattering his left tibia and fibula in his July trilogy fight with Poirier.
      The Irishman is already back on his feet and in the gym training, although he’s yet to resume kicking.
      But he will look to bounce back from consecutive defeats for the first time in his professional career, when he fights next.
