    Jake Paul announces major career change after cracking YouTube and world of boxing

    JAKE PAUL has announced he will be making his film debut in a major career change after success in the ring and social media. The American is one of the most familiar faces on the internet having shot to fame on Vine and later YouTube.

    And he capitalised on the boom of celebrity boxing by launching his own promotion and headlined on pay-per-view bills.
    But now, Paul is set to star in his first feature film which is to be produced by Mandalay Pictures.
    He said: “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on my first feature film project.
    “Both companies have proven track records of producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with such talented and experienced teams.

    “As someone who has always believed in pushing boundaries and taking risks, I can’t wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen.
    “This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career.”
    Paul, 26, is set to portray a small-town youth rising to international fame through combat sports, drawing parallels to his real life.
    It is set to be produced by the makers of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s AIR and Big George Foreman, starring Forest Whitaker.

    Paul was a former cast member of Disney Channel show Bizaardvark, playing Dirk Mann for two series.
    As a boxer, he is 6-1 and suffered his first defeat in February to Tommy Fury, 24, losing a split-decision in Saudi Arabia.
    He returns on August 5 in Texas against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38.

    He was born on August 10, 1995, in Krotoszyn, Poland.
    In the early 2010s Filipek joined the Polish hip-hop scene and gained popularity as a contestant in freestyle battles.
    In 2015 he was signed by fellow rapper Quebonafide’s record label QueQuality.

    In March 2023 Filipek announced his participation at the High Stakes tournament organised by Kingpyn boxing.

    Filipek has been a pro MMA fighter since 2019 and has had six fights with Fame MMA.
    His fight record is won three and lost three.
    Filipek lost against Whindersson at the High Stakes quarter finals in London in April 2023 due to a technical knockout.
    After his loss he teased new music on Instagram captioning: “My boxing was weak, but my music is still strong.”
    As of June 2023 Filipek changed his display name on Instagram to Whindersson was better.
    When is Filipek Marcinek next fighting?
    His next fight is against American boxer Nathan Bartling also known as mymatenate on July 1, 2023, in Dublin, Ireland as part of the High Stakes semi-finals.
    The losers from the quarter finals will fight against each other to compete in the runner-up bracket.
    Mymatenate lost against British YouTuber King Kenny at the High Stakes quarter finals in April 2023.
    He said about his loss on Instagram: “No excuses, no complaints.

    But after being denied a Therapeutic Use Exemption, the fan favourite is campaigning for the fight to be moved to accommodate his love of ganja.
    Along with a GIF of Homer Simpson fading into a cloud of marijuana smoke, the Stockton slugger tweeted: “We gonna have to move states.”
    Diaz’s legion of followers were quick to comment, with one saying: “True G.

    “Nothing is changing in terms of location/venue. Saturday, August 5, Paul vs. Diaz live on DAZN.”
    Diaz’s clash with Paul will be his first outing since leaving the UFC last September and will mark his professional boxing debut.

    Fury shared a video of Ngannou hitting the speedbag to his Instagram story and wrote: “I’ll have 15 pints and still KO you, [you] big stiff tramp.”
    Cameroonian clubber Ngannou jumped at the opportunity to try and further goad Fury into a crossover clash, tweeting: “Stop talking, Tyson, and come try.”

    Due to the injury being caused accidentally and not by a blow, the bout was halted and taken to judges scorecards at the time.
    Two had Holmes, 28, controversially in front, with the other leaning towards Toussaint, 31.
    As a result, Holmes was declared a technical split-decision victor, which drew a furious reaction from the booing audience.
    In the night’s main event, women’s boxing star Claressa Shields remained unbeaten by defeating Maricela Cornejo, 36.

    The two are now good friends and business partners following the launch of their drinks company Prime, who now sponsor Adesanya and Volkanovski.

    Watch ex-boxing world champion land insanely rare KO while on his BACK in MMA leaving fans awestruck

    EX-BOXING champion Krzysztof Glowacki scored a stunning knockout from his BACK to win his MMA debut. Glowacki formerly held the WBO cruiserweight title and in 2016 was beaten by pound-for-pound star Oleksandr Usyk.

    The Pole was last seen in the ring against Britain’s Richard Riakporhe, losing in January.
    His next fight would be a shock switch to the cage under Polish promotion KSW.
    And Glowacki, 36, won it with a rare KO after he was laid on his back on the floor with opponent Patryk Tolkaczewski raining down punches.
    But the boxer out of nowhere landed a left hand which caught Tolkaczewski on the chin.

    Fans were left awestruck at the way Glowacki managed to land the KO shot from his back.
