But the grudge match ended in chaos after Danis was disqualified in the final stages for attempting a takedown.
Paul was on the way to a shut out on the scorecards before Danis’ antics caused a mass brawl in the ring.
The American has taken the chance to lay into his rival online but now others are joining in too.
Mike Ford, the vice president of adult site My.Club, sent Danis an explicit six-figure working proposal.

He said: “I’d like to formally extend you an offer to serve as the ‘Head BJ(J) Trainer’ for My.Club, a leading platform for adult content creators.
“In your role, you will give BJJ tutorials to post to your profile via photo and video and provide fans with video call sessions teaching them Brazilian Jiu Jitsu basics.”
Danis, 30, lost every round before his ridiculous takedown attempt saw him thrown out of the fight.
But he is now set to launch an appeal by claiming: “There were multiple offences. I’ll be submitting my appeal to the commission today.”

His deflected clearance off Julian Alvarez in the first half of Sunday’s match with Manchester City prompted Neville to brand him a “nervous wreck” and “jittery”.
He said: “I can spot a keeper a mile off that’s a nervous wreck and there’s one right in front of you.
“The mistake in midweek, he’s carried into this game. He’s not sharp enough and he’s very lucky.”
Neville’s commentary didn’t sit well with former Wolves midfielder Karl Henry, who questioned the motives behind his criticism of the Spaniard.

He wrote on X: “Has Gary Neville got it in for Raya? Or is he just doing his best to get Ramsdale back in?
“When a commentator has an agenda, they influence millions of fans worldwide. It’s really poor.”
Henry also took umbrage with Neville’s criticism of Raya after his opposite number Ederson was playing diagonal passes, a number of which he also played.
He continued: “Ederson. Hits a diag and he’s saying Raya is rocky whilst Ederson is hitting 50-yard diags.

He added: “I’m no Arsenal fan and rate both Ramsdale and Raya highly. But Neville’s assassination of Raya is poor and unfair.
“Hope he realises how damaging to the player it can be and stops.”
Raya ended up keeping a clean sheet as Arsenal ran out 1-0 winners at the Emirates.

And she looks set to pick up her MMA career after signing with the PFL, a rival promotion to the UFC.
Ditcheva, 24, is currently in the semi-final of the PFL’s European season, where a win qualifies her into the $1million global league.
But the former Muay Thai champ would also be all ears if an offer to welcome Serrano to the PFL also presented itself.
Ditcheva told SunSport: “I’m definitely asking about the tournament next year in the main season at flyweight for $1million, but obviously that’s not confirmed.

“PFL have so many different plans at the moment, they’ve just signed Amanda Serrano and she’s my weight so I’d be up for that next year.
“They’re into all sorts so you never know but I’d definitely be up for doing the tournament next year or just staying busy.
“I’d like three fights next year. So, as long as they give me that and it works for me, then I’m not too bothered.
“My main focus is winning this tournament first, I want to get this belt then we’ll see what happens after that.”

PFL Europe is a three-stage knockout tournament, with Ditcheva returning in this Saturday’s semis in Paris.
The global league instead features two qualification bouts with points earned per method of victory.
From there, the top four in each division progress to the semis and final where a title belt and winner-take-all $1m cash prize is at stake.
But Serrano will instead feature in the PFL’s newly-launched super-fight series, which will also see Jake Paul, 26, and Francis Ngannou, 37, debut.
So Ditcheva is eyeing a crossover mega-fight against Serrano, who she has admired from a distance over the years.
PFL have so many different plans at the moment, they’ve just signed Amanda Serrano and she’s my weight so I’d be up for that next year!
She said: “I’d definitely put it out there that I’d be up for that. We’ll see what happens but Serrano is a top level boxer. It would be interesting.
“She fought Katie Taylor and it was a close fight and I’ve always watched Katie and never thought anybody would be on her level so that was a big stand out moment for her.
“I’ve admired what Serrano did in that fight and someone I’ve looked at as a top level athlete.
“It’s nice to see a little crossover in the sport, I’m excited to see how it works out and what they decide to do with it.”
Before any talk of super-fights and $1m seasons, Ditcheva first faces Cornelia Holm in the French capital.

She said: “I’m expecting a tough fight. She had a close fight in the first round, she got knocked down but she also gave it to the girl.
“I know she’ll be tough but I don’t think I’ll struggle too much against her.”

Following the win, AJ took a lap around the ring and bumped into both McGregor and KSI.
And McGregor was captured hurling abuse at KSI until Joshua intervened in support of his “guy.”
KSI has since lifted the lid on the bizarre incident and claimed the Irishman was trying to talk his way into a mega-fight.
He told Misfits Boxing’s YouTube channel: “It was pretty weird if I’m being honest.

“I think I had heard Conor saying that I can’t box and this and that, it was pretty embarrassing for him because AJ was like ‘nah nah, that’s my guy’ so he looked a little bit stupid there.

“Everyone is a normal person at the end of the day, same as me just a normal guy and I treat everyone the same.

Dana White wasn’t keen on making the fight while Ngannou was still under contract with the UFC
The veteran promoter has finally broken his silence on the fight
Ngannou – who has never boxed professionally – will bid to become the first man to defeat WBC heavyweight king Fury.
UFC supremo White was one of the most vocal critics of a potential Fury vs Ngannou clash following their impromptu Wembley face-off last May.
But he’s seemingly happy the promotion’s former heavyweight king has secured the biggest payday of his career.
During the UFC 293 post-fight press conference, he said: “Good for him.”

White blasted the fight after the pair went head to head on ESPN – the UFC’s broadcast partners – last May.
He told thePat McAfee Show: “I don’t love the crossover fights. I don’t love ’em.
“‘Cause they’re f*****g’ stupid, f*****g’ waste of time, energy, and money. … It’s silly, but I get it.
“Boxing is a massive advantage for Tyson Fury. Ngannou just wrestled Ciryl Gane.

“If you know anything about fighting, it’s a silly conversation.”
Ngannou’s seven-year stint in the UFC came to an end in December after he failed to agree a new contract with the promotion.
The Cameroonian clubber has since signed a lucrative contract with the Professional Fighters League, who are allowing him to take part in his crossover clash with Fury.
White, 54, was left stunned by Ngannou’s contract with the fast-rising promotion.
He said: “Based on what I know about the deal, which is not much, it makes no sense to me.

“You’re going to pay a guy not to fight for a year, and it’s already been like [14] months.
“He’s fought three times in the last three years. It’s just not what we do here. It’s not what we do.
“And the day that we released him, I knew exactly what was going to happen.

“Francis wants to take zero risks, doesn’t want to take any chances, and he obviously didn’t want to take a chance with Jon Jones — and after we saw what happened with Ciryl Gane, I don’t blame him.
“I think the outcome would’ve been exactly the same, and I’m sure most of you do and I’m sure Francis does too.” More

Fury has taken pelters for fighting boxing novice Ngannou instead of taking part in an undisputed title fight with Oleksandr Usyk, who many expect him to face next year.
But the WBC heavyweight champion’s sights are seemingly set on cage clashes with Ngannou and current UFC heavyweight king Jon Jones.
Fury, 35, said: “I’d like to fight Ngannou in the cage, I think I can beat him for sure.
“He’s not a good wrestler, he’s known for striking and I’m a better striker than him.

“In little gloves, I’d knock him out in seconds… I’d fight Jon Jones also in the cage, if the money was right.”
Fury recently revealed he’d received an offer from the UFC to lock horns with mixed martial arts legend Jones – who is set to retire from MMA in November – in an exclusive interview with SunSport.
He said: “That’s 100 per cent true [that I received an offer to fight Jones].

Before he can think about fighting in MMA, Fury must first see off the challenge of Ngannou in their Saudi showdown – the primary motivator of which was a once-in-a-lifetime payday.
He said: “Obviously I’m getting paid a hell of a lot of money.
“And I get millions of people from MMA and boxing who are gonna watch it.
“Whether they like that I’m doing it or not, guess what they’re gonna do? Still watch it.”

Fury, 35, was embroiled in a public spat with Jones – MMA’s controversial but beloved former pound-for-pound king – before the finalisation of his ten-round exhibition with Ngannou.
UFC kingpin Dana White publicly entertained the clash, which the WBC heavyweight champ claims was put on the table by the promotion’s parent company WME-IMG.
The undefeated Brit told SunSport in an exclusive interview: “That’s 100 per cent true [that I received an offer to fight Jones].

Fury has received pelters for welcoming boxing novice Ngannou to the professional ranks for his first outing since his one-sided beatdown of a battle-weathered Derek Chisora last December.
But that won’t stop him from entering the dangerous world of mixed martial arts should the UFC’s offer still be on the table after his desert dust-up with Ngannou.
The former unified heavyweight champion said: “Frank Warren knows about it, my team knows about it.
“It’s still ongoing and we’re looking to move forward on that for sure.”

Fury and Jones even went back and forth with one another via text to try and make the shock showdown come to fruition.
“Me and Jon have even spoke about it,” Fury said.” It’s definitely a real thing.”
A potential clash between Fury and Jones became the talk of the combat sports world in May after UFC commentator Joe Rogan ruled out Fury’s chances in a no-holds-barred straightener with Jones.
Fury reacted angrily to that notion, saying in one of his many Instagram story rants: “Here’s a thought.
“How about this? How about I fight Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou on the same night?
“How about that? That’s how much I value them two bums. Get up! Let’s go, boys.”
UFC Hall of Famer Jones is set to call time on his legendary career after what will be his first defence of the heavyweight title.
The former long-reigning light-heavyweight champion will defend the 265lb throne against former champion Stipe Miocic on the promotion’s 30th anniversary card – UFC 295 – at Madison Square Garden on November 11.
