In Paul’s latest, he uploaded a picture of himself as a youngster holding up a replica WWE belt.
He joked it was around the same time Mayweather won his first title and even poked fun at the boxing legend’s smaller frame.
Paul, 26, posted: “Fun fact @floydmayweather and I both got our first belt the same year. same height & weight class too.”
Despite the swipe, Mayweather was a world champion by 1998 when he was just 21 years old.
At that time, Paul was only three, highlighting the vast difference between the pair in terms of experience in the ring.
Mayweather, 44, officially retired in 2017 after beating ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 32, leaving the sport with a historic 50-0 record.
The American great is considered the greatest of his era – meanwhile Paul has boxed only TWICE before.
Both fights were against online rival KSI, the first of which was a white collar bout resulting in a draw, which does not count on his record.

They turned professional one year later and KSI, 27, emerged victorious by scrappy split-decision.
But Paul, ever the maverick entertainer, is adamant he will cause the mother of all upsets by becoming the first to beat Mayweather.
He said: “Floyd Mayweather is so excited that he made someone bleed in sparring.
“He posted the same picture twice from the same day, he’s so excited.
“Hey champ, you’re not the only person who makes people bleed in sparring. Who are you sparring bro? You’re sparring trash.
“You pipsqueak. June 6 is going to be the worst day of your life, dog. I’m going to make this so hard for you.”

Jake Paul warned he would be KOd by UFC legend Conor McGregor’s sparring partner Dillon Danis with fight in works

JAKE PAUL was warned he would be beaten in a boxing match by Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis. Danis, a 2-0 Bellator welterweight, has long rivalled the YouTuber online but the pair are yet to settle the score.

The jujitsu champion has not lost hope of facing the 3-0 social media star-turned boxer and continues to tease a venture into the ring.
And after a recent sparring session with gym-mate Peter Queally, Danis was backed to take the bragging rights home.
Queally, 34, posted: “Hadn’t sparred @dillondanis in ages and honestly was just gassing him up about the Jake Paul fight the past few months because he is my friend.
“This is exactly what you should be doing by the way, if your friends aren’t gassing you up every chance they get then they aren’t your friends.
“But anyway, after what I witnessed from him today, I have now seen enough empirical evidence to say he beats Jake in a boxing match.
    “Set it up!!”
Paul, 24, offered Danis, 27, a fight in March but the unbeaten MMA contender was ruled out with a knee injury.
The social media star instead went on to face retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in April, winning in the first round.

Paul has since signed for Showtime, the same network who televise Danis’ MMA promotion Bellator.
But the internet celebrity ruled out ever fighting his rival, as he insisted it would not be a challenge and unfair for the fans to pay for.
Paul told SunSport: “If I were to fight Dillon the excuses would pile in even before I destroy him.
“They’d say, ‘He’s only had two fights, he does jiujitsu and he’s not a striker’.
“I’m not challenging myself, I’m almost letting the fans down and the community as I’m literally going to go in there and knock this guy out in one or two rounds.
“I’m tired of my fans paying $50 and they only get one minute. I want a challenge. I want someone to punch me in the f***ing face.
“This is fighting and I haven’t been hit yet in my three professional fights.
“I’m a little disappointed and I know I don’t get paid extra being in there for longer rounds but, like let’s put on a show here.”

Vasyl Lomachenko teases UFC switch as boxing legend gets gifted personalised gear ahead of ring return

BOXING superstar Vasyl Lomachenko has once again teased a potential bout in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The former pound-for-pound king has repeatedly flirted with a move into the mixed martial arts world.

And the Ukrainian did so again on Tuesday night after his sponsors – Venum – sent him a personalised UFC fight kit.
Lomachenko, 33, shared a video of him unboxing the kit – which included a pair of UFC gloves – with his 1.9million Instagram followers.
Before opening the box, he said: “So, I just got a box from Venum and [the] UFC, so let’s see what’s inside.”
After holding up the pair of shorts that came with the kit, The Matrix said: “Okay, so maybe in the future, someday. Nobody knows.”
He ended the video by saying: “Thank you very much. A big thank you to Venum. I appreciate it,
Lomachenko’s legion of followers were quick to comment, with one asking: “When is the UFC debut?”

Another said: “If any boxer can transfer to ufc it should be u champ.”
And another said: “LOMA UFC CHAMPION.”
Lomachenko hasn’t set foot in the ring since losing his undisputed lightweight title fight with Teofimo Lopez last October.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist suffered a unanimous decision defeat to the 23-year-old, a result he fiercely disputed.
But after watching the fight back multiple times, he believes it should’ve been scored a draw.

The former three-weight world champion told ESPN: “My opinion now after watching (Teofimo Lopez clash) a lot of times, my opinion it was a draw.”
Lomachenko will be back in action on June 26 in Las Vegas, where he’ll take on Japan’s Masayoshi Nakatani.
The sole blemish on Nakatani’s record came at the hands of Lopez in July 2019.
And Loma reckons the current WBO Inter-Continental lightweight champ is the perfect opponent for his comeback fight.
He said of the fight: “It’s the best choice for me. I want to compare myself with this guy (Teofimo).
“He was close with (Lopez) in their fight. He’s a great opponent for me.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down $100M offer to fight Floyd Mayweather in boxing ring, reveals his UFC manager

FORMER UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov turned down a whopping £70million boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, according to his manager Ali Abdelaziz. The recently-retired Nurmagomedov revealed his desire to box The Money Man after his UFC 229 victory over Conor McGregor in October 2018.

Despite a public back-and-forth spanning nearly two years, a fight between the pair never came to fruition – although Nurmagomedov revealed last March he’d received a lucrative offer to face the boxing legend.
And according to Abdelaziz, another offer was sent The Eagle’s way after his retirement from mixed martial arts last October.
During an appearance on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, the Dominance MMA chief said: “Two weeks ago, (or) 10 days ago, Dana White called me.
“He said, ‘Georges St-Pierre, he said he’ll fight Khabib in a non-title fight at 165 pounds.’
“In a way, we’ve been waiting for Georges. I like Georges. He’s my friend. I like Georges.
“We’ve been waiting for Georges for four or five years. ‘I’m coming. I’m not coming.’

“Now, [he] said, ‘Hey, Khabib is retired. I’m retired. What about coming back and fighting Khabib now?’
“But you know, Khabib got offered $100million after he was retired to fight Floyd Mayweather.
“$100million. $100million. You can ask Floyd. You can ask everybody.
“Khabib said, “No, I’m retired. I told my mother I’m retired. I’m going to keep my word to my mother. If my mother told me to fight again, maybe I will. But right now, she told me not to fight.”
Nurmagomedov hung up his gloves last October following his second-round submission victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
The Dagestani destroyer walked away from the sport following the death of his father and coach Abdulmanap, who passed away last July following complications stemming from COVID-19.

Nurmagomedov briefly flirted with the prospect of returning to the octagon earlier this year but opted not to backtrack on the promise he made to his mother.
UFC president Dana White tried his best to entice the former lightweight king back to the cage, although his efforts failed to bear any fruit.
In March, Nurmagomedov told ESPN: “Dana called this official, but I retired like four, six months ago.
“It’s very funny. Dana told me when he posted that someone commented saying, ‘Hey, he retired not today, he retired about five months ago,’ and I was like it’s funny.
“We had some conversations with Dana a couple of times and like two days ago we meet with him to talk like two real men.
“We had a very good conversation with them, good dinner, and I really appreciated him not only for me, but all the sport.”

He added: “It’s very hard when you have power, when you’re the best in the world, when you’re famous, have money and say to everything like this, ‘No.’
“It’s very hard. People maybe will never understand me, but I really hope they’re going to support my decision because everyone has their views.
“My view and my relationship with my mother, I feel like I have to stop because I feel like in every fight, every training camp, this takes some age away from my mother.
“And it’s like what do I have to do? I came to this sport to show who I am and became the best, I’m world champion, and pound-for-pound No. 1. I defended my title three times.
” I defended my title in biggest fight of UFC history. What else? Only money-fights, but I don’t need money.”

“Cody losing or him not being able to ride roller coasters due to height requirements?”
Garbrandt, 29, soon got wind of Paul’s taunt and was quick to reply to the ever-confident social media star.
The Ohioan quote tweeted the former Disney star’s insult and said: “Roller coast deez [sic] nutz.”

The former 135lb king is anything but a fan of Paul, who he challenged to an MMA fight after seeing him knock out former UFC welterweight Ben Askren.
Last month, Garbrandt said: “Your whole squad would get f***ed up. You beat a guy that can’t box in boxing.
“Why won’t you come to the cage? Cause you’re a p***y, so is your whole squad.
“I’d give up 50lbs to you and knock that toupee off your f***ing head. You’ll be exposed soon.”
Defeat to the in-form Font – who is now on a four-fight win streak – bounced fan favourite Garbrandt out of the win column.
The heavy-handed Garbrandt is now 1-4 in his last five outings to the octagon.

Another said: “You’ll always be one of mine and my son’s favourite fighters.
“You’re a warrior and I can’t wait to see the next war. Much love…no love.”
And another said: “Made me an even bigger fan tonight. Tough as they come.

Usman, however, was quick to pour cold water on talk of a big-money fight with the former Disney star.
But Tyson believes The Nigerian Nightmare would be foolish not to take the mega-money bout.
During a recent episode of his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Iron Mike told former two-division UFC champ Henry Cejudo: “I want to see that s**t.
“It’s going to be so much f**king money, how can he turn it down?
“That’s way more money than… it’s twice or three times as much money [than he earns] in the UFC. So, how could he turn it down?”
Usman, 33, is currently focused on furthering his legacy in MMA – although he’d happily punish the younger Paul brother for an eight-figure payday.

“But there’s a lot of work that I’ve put into my sport to get to the position that I’m in.
“And then when you see these guys come in and just, ‘Oh, I wanna challenge him. I want to challenge that guy.’ It’s almost disrespectful.
“It’s almost disrespectful to the point where, like I said earlier, I’m also the judge.

“If there’s eight zeroes in front of the check, then for sure, we’ll consider it. For sure.”
Usman’s comments on Paul come a week after the social media star claimed to be in talks to box the UFC’s 170lb king.
He told former UFC middleweight and light-heavyweight title challenger Chael Sonnen: “There’s conversations happening.
“I believe Kamaru’s manager is already in talks with Dana [White], and I think that’s all I can say.

Oscar De La Hoya calls out ‘little bitch’ Dana White for fight after UFC boss blocks Georges St-Pierre bout

OSCAR DE LA HOYA has challenged Dana White to a boxing match after the UFC chief blocked him from fighting Georges St-Pierre.Two-division UFC champion St-Pierre was on course to welcome The Golden Boy back to the ring in an exhibition bout.
But the fight was vetoed by White as GSP is still under contract with the UFC.

De La Hoya was fuming after learning of White’s blocking of the bout, so much so he challenged the veteran promoter to meet him inside the ring.
He tweeted: “@danawhite. Quit blocking @GeorgesStPierre’s chance to fight.
“How about we get into the ring first little B*#ch then after I kick your ass, I’ll fight a real man.”
White and De La Hoya, 51 and 48 respectively, have a far from a cordial relationship – with the pair no stranger to taking shots at each other.
And White reignited their feud last August by mocking De La Hoya’s proposed comeback.

When asked for his thoughts on De La Hoya returning to action after over a decade of retirement, he said: “Cocaine isn’t cheap.
“It’s expensive. You’ve got to make money.”
White’s blocking of a fight with De La Hoya upset St-Pierre, although the French-Canadian understands his former promoter’s decision not to give his blessing.
Earlier this week, he told Cinema Blend: “I understand that Dana didn’t want me to fight,” St-Pierre. However, it would have been fun.
“Because my career as a professional fighter, to become the best in the world in mixed martial arts, is done.

“I’m turning 40 years old tomorrow; I’m going to be 40 years old. It’s a young man’s game.
“However, to rather fight a boxing match under the rules that Triller put on against the legendary Oscar De La Hoya?
“For me, it would have been a dream come true, because he is my second favorite boxer of all time, behind ‘Sugar’ Ray Leonard.
“Plus, a lot of the money made would have been given to charity. So it would have been for a good cause, just to show that we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
“And it would have been serious competition because you say, I play basketball, I play hockey, but you don’t ‘play’ fighting. It would have been fun.”

Unlike his brother Jake, Logan appears to have the utmost respect for mixed martial artists.
He continued: “I will say it is a tough sport, it’s harder than boxing. MMA fighters are legitimate all-around 360-degree fighters.
