YouTuber Paul was cageside as he continues to push for a mega-money boxing match against the Irish superstar.
And the trilogy bout ended in disaster for McGregor as he suffered a broken shin at the end of round one against Poirier.
It forced the doctor to stop the fight, with Paul rubbing the defeat in afterwards.
He said: “Goodnight buddy.” He then zoomed into the diamond chain of a knocked out McGregor.”
After a frantic first round in Las Vegas, it ended in chaos as McGregor stood on his ankle leaving the doctor no choice but to stop the fight.
The former two-weight champion insisted their rivalry is ‘not over’ as the pair were STILL trading words post-fight.
McGregor, 32, said: “I was boxing the bleeding head off him, kicking the bleeding leg off him.
“Usual s***e, dive to close the distance. This is not over. I have to take this outside with him, it’s all outside.”

Before the fight, McGregor boasted how he had Poirier’s wife, Jolie, messaging him on Instagram.
And as the bad blood spilled over, again he looked to goad Poirier.
McGregor said: Your wife is in my DM’s. Hey baby, hit me back up and I’ll chat to you later on.
“We’ll be having an afterparty at the Wynn nightclub baby.”
McGregor – who promised Poirier would be leaving on a stretcher – was the one assisted out of the T-Mobile Arena.
But he left adamant on keeping the chapter open, meaning a FOURTH fight between himself and Poirier cannot be ruled out if he makes a recovery.

The Problem Child signed off by stroking the top of the McGregor mould and saying: “Don’t go sleepy, sleepy.
“Good night, McGregor. F**k you, b***h.”
Paul, 24, has taken a number of shots at MMA superstar McGregor this week.
After seeing the Irishman’s display at the UFC 264 pre-fight press conference, he said: “You can tell Conor has lost ‘it’.
“He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity and you can tell he’s trying to convince himself of his own lies.
“He takes offense to everything now. He’s bathing in his own insecurity’s [sic].
“When we fight I will further expose him for the fraud he is.”

The outspoken Paul has been trying to land a big-money boxing fight with McGregor for the best part of six months.
McGregor, 32, has in large part ignored the former Disney star but recently admitted he’s open to facing both Paul brothers.
The Irishman said: “I couldn’t care about them two dingbats. I don’t see so, but never say never.
“If they’re gonna keep competing, who knows? But, dingbats, the two of them.”

He has returned twice since then – both in exhibition bouts – the first with featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in Japan.
But more recently he gave away TWO STONE against YouTuber Paul, 26, which went the full eight round distance.
McGregor blasted Mayweather for the bizarre fight, which ended without a winner as there was no knockout, and opened the door to a rematch.
He told ESPN’s Stephen A Smith: “I have no problem with Floyd, it wasn’t a good look for him to face against that man (Logan Paul) in his last one.
“It didn’t feel right, even he didn’t feel right, you could see it in him. We can go again if he wants.
“I feel that’s going to happen at some stage down the line.”
McGregor, 32, made his pro boxing debut against Mayweather, 44, but is yet to return to the ring.
He was then in talks with Manny Pacquiao, 42, before making his UFC comeback in January in a rematch against Dustin Poirier, 32, who he beat in 2014.

BETTING SPECIAL – Get McGregor to win by knockout, TKO or DQ at 40/1

But after Poirier knocked the Irishman out, his return to the boxing ring was shelved.
McGregor admitted to putting too much emphasis on boxing before the defeat, as he faces Poirier in a trilogy decider on Saturday.
Ahead of the UFC 264 headliner, he has vowed to focus solely on MMA, but did not rule out another venture into the ring.
McGregor said: “For sure I’ll box again.
“Like I’m back on the sites, the boxing is not even on the radar at the minute. But I will do, of course.”

Woodley linked up with the boxing legend in Miami alongside trainer Gerald Tucker.
In the video, the former UFC welterweight shadow boxes in the ring with Mayweather, before hitting the pads and heavy bag.
In Woodley’s ‘Champ Camp’ series, Mayweather says: “When you’re on that bag, you go like you’re in the UFC ring.
“The same way you work there, that’s how I want you to work here.”
Mayweather recently fought Paul’s brother Logan, 26, in an exhibition bout which to the shock of many went the full eight round distance.
Beforehand, Jake stole the retired legend’s hat, sparking talk of a fight between the two.
But Mayweather poured cold water on a return to the ring after he failed to knock out Logan.
He has instead turned his attention to training Woodley and offered to set the American up in Las Vegas at his boxing club.
BETTING SPECIAL – Get McGregor to win by knockout, TKO or DQ at 40/1
How Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley compare ahead of their boxing match

Woodley told FightHub: “They want me to come to Vegas. He came in yesterday and we trained and he really wants to help me.
“I learned so much. If I never got the chance to work with him again, I learned enough little, small details and small little back pocket tricks that will take me through this fight and maybe through a couple fights.”
Woodley will make his boxing debut against Paul, having left the UFC after four straight losses.
But he did reign the welterweight division from 2016-2018 with four defences, but is without a win in three years.
Meanwhile, Paul has burst onto the boxing scene since his professional debut in 2020, when he beat online rival ‘AnEsonGib’.
But he only has wins over YouTuber Gib, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, a renowned grappler.
Woodley will provide Paul with the greatest test of his prizefighting career so far.

Mayweather, 44, officially retired after beating McGregor, in a lucrative fight which grossed close to £600MILLION.
But the UFC legend insisted he was the draw behind the crossover bout and his rival should be the grateful one.

McGregor explained: “Stephen, Floyd didn’t make me anything. I was on the Forbes list before Floyd. I brought Floyd out the gutter with it.
“Because Floyd had the Andre Berto fight before that and it was like 300,000 buys.
“It was me that made Floyd.”

Paul, 3-0 as a boxer all by knockout, claimed to have a $50million fight offer waiting for the Irishman at the start of the year.
But he rescinded that after McGregor was knocked out by Dustin Poirier in January.
Poirier, who avenged his 2014 defeat, is now set for a trilogy decider with the southpaw star at UFC 264 tonight.
And ahead of the immediate rematch, Paul slammed McGregor for his press conference antics and promised to put the nail in the coffin if they fought.

But he only has wins over YouTuber Gib, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, a renowned grappler.
Paul, 24, does face the biggest challenge of his career in August, when he fights former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39.
McGregor, 32, meanwhile lost his boxing debut in 2017 against Floyd Mayweather, 44, and has promised to return to the ring.
He was in talks with Manny Pacquiao, 42, before losing to Poirier, 32, but it was shelved after the shock KO defeat.
McGregor now eyes a run back at the UFC title and wants lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, 31, if he wins his return in Las Vegas.
But he did not rule out a potential fight against Paul or his older brother Logan, 26, who recently took Mayweather the distance in an exhibition.

Watch Anthony Joshua try MMA training with flying knees and kicks in Marbella ahead of Oleksandr Usyk fight

ANTHONY JOSHUA has MMA fans dreaming of a potential fight inside the cage after showing off his kicking skills. The unified heavyweight champion of the world is currently in Marbella gearing up for his showdown with former cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk.

But AJ recently took away from time away from his prep to hit Thai pads with former UFC middleweight Luke Barnatt.
Joshua, 32, showcased decent leg dexterity for a man his size when Barnatt instructed him to throw a right roundhouse kick.
But he had difficultly nailing the powerful switch left kick, which many beginners struggle with.
He didn’t, however, have any problem throwing flying knees – leaping through the air and landing his right knee on the pad with some force.
A number of MMA fighters were impressed by AJ’s attempts at Thai boxing, including PFL featherweight Brendan Loughnane, who tweeted: “Actually looks great.”
Fans were similarly impressed, with one saying: “Imagine if AJ knew how to throw a proper low kick, that s**t would sting.”
BETTING SPECIAL – Get McGregor to win by knockout, TKO or DQ at 40/1
Anthony Joshua attempts to throw a roundhouse kick
He eventually got the hang of throwing the kick, although he still needed to turn his hips
Another said: “Dude is such an athlete imagine if he trained MMA when he was young, he kinda has the same body as [Cyril] Gane.
And another said: “I’d love a top-level boxer to cross over and have a MMA fight with a good level MMA person.”
One remarked: “This is nuts! Dude is so talented and athletic.
    “You love to see it.”
Another AJ fan then imagined a potential MMA fight between Joshua and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
AJ lands a good solid knee on the Thai pad
The unified heavyweight champ’s kicking ability impressed some MMA fans.
They said: “Imagine we’ll get Fury vs Joshua in an MMA match instead of boxing haha.”
Joshua’s long-awaited showdown with Usyk is set to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25, although the Ukrainian’s co-promoter recently revealed some minor details still need to be ironed out.
Alexander Krassuyk told The Daily Mail: “According to my experience in boxing, the fight is done when both fighters enter the ring and the bell sounds.
“We just have three small issues to co-ordinate, which we’re going to do tonight.
“We have a conference call to fix everything and to proceed with signing [contracts].

“[It’s] some small risky things, which are not likely to happen. But we are professionals and we need to secure even the lowest possibility issues.
“That’s why we keep saying, ‘The principal things have been coordinated a long time ago.’
“But all those small issues are in progress. Nothing major.
“We keep saying we’re going to make it within a couple of days.
“But the issue is our lawyers are in the United States, we’re in Ukraine, [AJ’s] guys are in the UK.
“We don’t need to talk much, we just need to agree on small issues and to proceed further.”

The Dubliner: “We actually got him tickets (for the fight) got him tickets yeah.
“He messaged me today saying that he’s signing for a new club and he’s not going to be able to make it.

“I want to continue to grow and improve at Paris and help the team to win as many trophies as possible.”
McGregor, meanwhile, has vowed to brutally exact revenge on fan favourite Poirier, who knocked him out cold in their January rematch.
