Conor McGregor bizarrely calls out Neymar as Notorious threatens to ‘smoke’ PSG ace and UFC champ Charles Oliveira

CONOR McGREGOR has sensationally taken shots at Neymar as the UFC star says he will ‘smoke’ the Brazil and PSG ace. The Notorious is currently out of action in the UFC after suffering a broken leg in his last fight against Dustin Poirier.

However he has been adamant about receiving another title shot at the UFC lightweight belt when he returns from injury.
McGregor, who won the belt when defeating Eddie Alvarez back in 2016, has made no secret of his desire to take on current champ Charles Oliveira.
But superstar footballer Neymar has also entered his crosshairs after taking a bizarre shot at the most expensive player in history.
Oliveira, who is from Brazil, shared a photo last week alongside Neymar where he thanked him for his support and ‘affection’.
But last night McGregor hit back by sharing the photo to his Instagram story saying he would ‘smoke the two of these’.
McGregor has feuded with a Brazilian star in the past having battled Jose Aldo to win his first UFC title belt back in 2015.

And while he remains on the sideline through injury the Dubliner has been stepping up his recovery to return by the start of the summer.
He has won just one fight inside the Octagon since his last title success in 2016, losing twice to Dustin Poirier last year.
Oliveira defeated Poirier by submission in his last fight in December and his won his last eight bouts inside the Octagon with none of them going the distance.
But Oliveira would be happy to see him skip the queue for a shot at the title and is open to facing him come May this year.
He said: “May would be a wonderful date. Conor challenged me asking a date, and tweeted Ireland vs Brazil 2.
“Not only him, but also myself and all the world wants to see that fight. So let’s make it happen.
“I’m waiting for him in May. It may be in welterweight, lightweight or middleweight, with my title on the line or not. Just choose and I’ll be ready.”

That came after the 24-year-old star – who viciously KO’d former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley in his last outing – said he’d start training at renowned MMA gym American Kickboxing Academy.
And Bellator president Scott Coker is willing to give The Problem Child an opportunity to try his hand at MMA.
He told MMA Junkie: “If you want to come into MMA, we would gladly do it.
“Think about this: He’s not saying, ‘I’m going to go train here. I’m going to go train there.’
“He’s going to come to one of the best gyms in the planet, where Khabib is, where Daniel Cormier is still training, where Cain Velasquez is teaching there now, and he’s going to go into an environment that he is going to flourish, and he has a wrestling background already.
“He has great striking, obviously. You’ve seen it, and so this guy is just going to get better and better and better.”

Paul has yet to fight a fully-fledged boxer in his brief stint in the sport and Coker believes the social media sensation is due a step up in competition.
He continued: “The days of him fighting basketball players or whatever, those days are over.
“He wants to do it. The only thing I will say is, my understanding is he wants to get 10 fights into boxing, and then after that come over to mixed martial arts.
“I know certain people feel a certain way, but I tell you, don’t underestimate these guys because when they have their minds made up, it just seems like that they’re able to fulfill their destiny, and so to me, it’s something that if they want to make it happen, we would love to do something with them and put them in some big fights and really test them out.”
Paul – along with older brother Logan – has made waves in the boxing world in his five professional bouts.
And although the brothers came into martial arts very late, Coker is refusing to put a ceiling on how far they can go.
The veteran promoter said: “I always said, ‘Look, these guys are real athletes, and they’re young, they work hard, they’re grinding it out.

“They’re putting in the work. You can’t take that away from them, and they’re getting better and better and better.
“What you saw with Woodley, that’s a lot of hard work to get to that point. I’ve never seen Woodley get knocked out like that, right? And so, is it just boxing?
“Yes. So, I always said, ‘Look, man, don’t underestimate these guys,’ and this was like a year-and-a-half ago.”

On the undercard, Chris Avila beat Anthony Taylor, a former sparring partner of the YouTuber’s.
And Avila, a long-time team-mate of Diaz in their home of Stockton, gave the green light for his mentor to box Paul.
He told MMAFighting: “I’m down to see that fight. But when you fight Nate Diaz, you’re getting the realest fighter of all time right there.
“So these guys are sitting here calling his name and eventually he’s going to get in the boxing ring and I’m excited to see it.
“Who he’s going to box is his choice. He’s going to make a stamp and a statement in boxing, easy.”
Paul, 24, was set to face Fury, 22, this month until the British former reality TV star pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.

Woodley, 39 then signed as a late replacement but was knocked out in the rematch, just three months after losing on points.
He now joins YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37, on Paul’s KO list.
But Avila, 28, insisted Diaz, 36, will not suffer the same fate as former UFC pair Askren and Woodley.
He said: “Jake Paul’s team is zero. We’re one up already.
“That last fight was a Paul-Diaz, team versus team, Jake Paul made that. They’re already down one.
“So if he wants to get in the ring with Nate or me, it would be fine with either of us. I know that’s a fight I can win.
“I know that’s a fight Nate would win, hands down. Easy money.”

Conor McGregor’s coach reveals bout with Jake Paul has ‘never been suggested’ despite YouTuber’s claim of fight talks

CONOR MCGREGOR’s head coach has yet to hear any talk of a future fight with Jake Paul – despite the YouTuber recently claiming their management teams have been in contact.Last year, Problem Child Paul claimed the pair’s respective reps had been talking ‘constantly’ about a lucrative boxing match.

But that’s news to McGregor’s long-time coach and good friend Kavanagh, who hasn’t heard any serious rumblings about The Notorious potentially facing the former Disney star.
When asked if Paul is a potential future opponent, Kavanagh told The Mirror: “He might talk to Audie all the time, but no.
“I heard something about Jake Paul being managed by an ex-UFC CFO [Chief Financial Officer].
“And I guess it’s interesting to hear some of the negotiation tactics by that big organisation being leaked through Jake Paul, so it’s kind of fun to follow that.

McGregor is targeting an April return to sparring, which UFC president Dana White hopes will lead to a summer return.

He added: “I have no idea what the landscape is gonna look like when he comes back.
“So to talk about him and Dustin – Dustin could be retired by the time Conor McGregor [comes back].

White doubled down on that suggestion on Saturday night after Paul made his list of demands to fight in the UFC, which prompted the former Disney star to make another video addressing the veteran promoter.
He said: “Dana, I accepted every part of your challenge. I said I would fight [Jorge] Masvidal in MMA.
“Steroid test me whenever the f**k you want. It is two weeks after my fight and I’m a fat b***h.
“And I take it as a compliment because there’s no other excuse to me knocking out all your champions [than].’ This kid does steroids.’
“Look at me. Look at that, a fat b***h.
“If you steroid test me, I want to steroid test every one of your fighters. Ohhh, you don’t want to do it though, will you?”

The Problem Child then accused White of being ‘caught’ red-handed with ‘cocaine and hookers’, a claim he first made last Halloween when he dressed up as the Bostonian.
He continued: “You have been caught with cocaine and hookers every other week.
“And you think that like with all the money you have like a billionaire or some st that you would get some f***ing botox.
“Because your forehead looks like a motherf***ing GPS Google map. Like all the lines in it and s**t.”
Social media sensation Paul then dismissed the notion of the UFC’s big names being superstars by claiming his mum gets more likes on her Instagram posts.
He said: “And you say Masvidal is a pay-per-view superstar. Do you realise that my mom, Pam, gets more likes than your pay-per-view superstars?
“Men lie, women lie, Dana White lies, numbers don’t. You’re just a jealous ugly f**k. You don’t know what true happiness is.

“Long story short: you addressed nothing that I said. I accepted your challenge, I said I would fight MMA, I said I would retire from boxing.
“And you avoided all of that s**t. You’re a dog in a corner trying to fight to save his whole company.
“And the embarrassment that I’ve put you through, everybody sees it.
“And what you can’t accept or love or appreciate is that I’m trying to change the sport forever.”
The outspoken and brash Paul then turned his attention to the topic of UFC fighter pay, which he’s been vocal about over the last six months.
He told White: “You are one of the most selfish capitalistic motherf**kers that I’ve ever seen. Everybody else needs you, Dana.
Paul then turned his attention to fighter pay in the UFCCredit: TWITTER@JAKEPAUL
“I’m the only person that doesn’t need you and I don’t give a f**k about you.
“But all these people, all your fighters, all of them, they can’t say s**t cause you’ll just bench them.
“You met your maker, I’m not gonna stop. Welcome to the show, ladies and gentlemen.
“The bottom line, Dana, is that you won’t add health care for your fighters because you don’t give a f**k about them and you’re too much of a greedy b***h to pay your minimum fighter more than $12,000 for risking their lives.
“It’s what a janitor makes. You need to pay them $50,000, Dana. Stop avoiding my points.”
In his latest fiery rant at the youngest Paul brother, White vehemently denied taking cocaine.

“I believe that you’re a cheater and I believe that you use steroids, so I want to randomly steroid test you for the next two years.”

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has rubbished claims that Jake Paul’s knockout of Tyron Woodley was ‘fake’.YouTuber turned boxer Paul flatlined the former UFC welterweight champion in the sixth round of their Tampa tussle last year, which prompted a slew of viewers to claim the fight was fixed.

The notion of Paul’s viral one-punch KO of The Chosen One being ‘fake’ amused long-time boxing fan Rogan, who insists the stoppage was a display of the former Disney star’s skill.
During a recent episode of The Jogan Experience podcast, he said: “He [Paul] has been saying that he’s suffering from slurring words and loss of memory already.
“Yeah, it does not take long if you spar a lot…
“He is f***ing good though. Like people want to pretend he’s not because he is a YouTube guy.
“But the way he knocked out Tyron Woodley, that is f***ing skillful.
    “He’s got real f***ing power.
“Meanwhile, the f***ing casuals are thinking it is fake. You’ve seen that? It is silly.”

Ex Mike Tyson coach accuses Anthony Joshua of accepting defeat ‘too easily as he’s made too much money’ after Usyk bout

ANTHONY JOSHUA has been accused of accepting defeat ‘too easily and too graciously’ ahead of his crunch rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. The Watford warrior has only lost to Andy Ruiz Jr and Usyk in his 26-fight career but has handled both defeats with the utmost class.

But legendary boxing coach and pundit Teddy Atlas believes the former unified heavyweight champ wilts when the going gets tough and after being bested.
During the latest episode of The Fight with Teddy Atlas, the 65-year-old said: “Joshua, he’s made too much money.
“I do [think that]. He accepts defeat too easily, too graciously.”
Atlas is a fan of fighters showing humility after setbacks but believes Joshua doesn’t show enough disappointment and hunger to settle the score with his conquerors.
The former trainer of undisputed heavyweight king Mike Tyson said: “I want a good winner and a good loser, don’t get me wrong.
“I believe as much as anybody, if not more than most people, about that.

Jake Paul fight with Conor McGregor and Deontay Wilder facing Derek Chisora included on Eddie Hearn’s 2022 wishlist

EDDIE HEARN has revealed his big fight wishlist for 2022 – with dream bouts featuring Jake Paul against Conor McGregor and Deontay Wilder versus Derek Chisora on it. The promoter had a hand in making some of the biggest events in 2021, involving stars such as Anthony Joshua, 32, and Canelo Alvarez, 31.

And no doubt he will want to pick up where he left off when boxing resumes next year.
But Hearn is also a fan of the sport at heart, so like the rest of us hopes to see boxers outside of his stable in big fights.
Two mega-stars outside of his Matchroom Boxing banner are YouTuber Paul, 24, and ex-UFC champion McGregor, 33.
And he believes for Paul – whose professional debut was promoted by Hearn – a match-up with Irishman McGregor is the one he wants to see.
He said on DAZN: “For Jake Paul personally, the fight to make is Conor McGregor.
“This is a mega-fight and a really good fight as well, got to get the catchweight right in the middle, although Conor McGregor looks huge at the moment.

“Conor McGregor; legend, Jake Paul; content legend – but a lot of fun putting the work in.
“I want to see Jake Paul against Conor McGregor, let’s get it made – I can’t say it’s the top of my list of Christmas cheer here on DAZN, but a little bit of fun for the festive season.”
Elsewhere on the list is former WBC king Wilder, 36, and British veteran Chisora, 38.
Wilder was most recently knocked out by Tyson Fury, 33, in round 11 of their epic trilogy bout.

Meanwhile Chisora was floored three times in an exciting rematch defeat to Joseph Parker, 29.
Despite being his third loss on the spin, Hearn is hoping to tempt Wilder into a return fight against Chisora.
He said: “Deontay Wilder, we want to see you back in the ring. I’ve got the perfect guy for you – Dereck Chisora.
“Come on, he’s getting on a little bit, he’s coming off three defeats on the spin now. Easy comeback fight for Deontay Wilder. Dereck’s ready.”
