JAKE PAUL has hinted at fighting UFC legend Anderson “The Spider” Silva next with a “pest control” picture of himself. The YouTube star-turned boxer named Silva along with Tommy Fury as two of the frontrunners in line to face him next.

And after the Brazilian beat MMA champ Bruno Machado on Floyd Mayweather’s recent undercard, Paul cryptically responded.
He posted a mocked up image of himself as a pest controller – making light of Silva’s “Spider” nickname.
Paul, 25, recently announced he will return on August 13 for his sixth professional bout.
And Silva, 47, is ready to be in the opposite corner after praising the American and his brother Logan, 27.

Claressa Shields out to double her money after seven-figure Savannah Marshall fight as she targets $1m PFL reward

CLARESSA SHIELDS is ready to confirm her boxing super-fight with Savannah Marshall – so she can try and double her money in MMA. The American star last year signed a seven-figure deal with Sky Sports which included a grudge match with Marshall.

But the undisputed middleweight title bout has faced two delays in July and now looks set for September.
Shields already has an MMA fight with the Professional Fighters League eyed for November.
So with a packed schedule, she wants to hurry up and settle the score with Marshall once and for all, after the Brit recovers from her arm injury.
Shields told SunSport: “Now we’re fighting in September, but fighting in boxing in a big match like this for the undisputed championship, it makes it difficult to train properly for MMA fights.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Don Moore are set to fight at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi after their helipad fight in Dubai was scrapped. The former sparring partners were due to share the ring last weekend atop the Burj Al Arab hotel, 700ft above sea level.

But the death of 73-year-old UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan forced the entire event to be called off.
The UAE’s ministry of presidential affairs had announced a 40-day period of mourning and a three-day suspension of work in all ministries.
It left organisers scrambling to find a new date after the ring was put up only hours before the cancellation.
