His form is said to have attracted attention across Europe, with interest from Manchester increasing.
According to Foot Mercato, United and City have both approached Ait-Ait-Nouri’s agent, Jorge Mendes and offered the defender a deal.
It is claimed Mendes travelled to England with his client on Tuesday and  visited the facilities of several clubs, including United and City.
Ait-Nouri could potentially become the most expensive player in Angers’ history.

Former Arsenal midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide holds their record after he moved to Lyon for £28million in 2019.
Atletico Madrid, Wolves, Leicester, PSG, Crystal Palace and Monaco are also said to be interested in signing Ait-Nouri.

He has played for France at Under-18 and U-21 level.
The teen joined Angers in the summer of 2016 on a free transfer from second tier Paris FC.

After impressing at youth level, Nouri was then handed his senior debut during the 2018/19 campaign. More

Rio Ferdinand admits England shirt felt ‘heavier’ than Man Utd’s and he NEVER believed Three Lions would win a trophy

RIO FERDINAND has confessed his England shirt always felt ‘heavier,’ than his Manchester United shirt.
And he never really believed England’s Golden Generation would deliver the success they were tipped for – even when he captained the Three Lions.

Rio Ferdinand confessed his England shirt always felt ‘heavier,’ than his Manchester United shirt

    4

Ferdinand expressed his candid thoughts during an interview with England rugby union captain Owen Farrell
Ferdinand says being able to call on global superstars such as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney and Sol Campbell should have made England one of the most feared and formidable football nations on the planet.
Instead, the Three Lions turned out to be paper-tigers, with Ferdinand, who earned 81 caps and was a veteran of three world cups, revealing their tactics were fatally flawed under a succession of managers.
Ferdinand, the youngest ever defender to play for England when he made his international debut against Cameroon, aged 19 years and eight days in 1997, said: “As a captain, as an England player, the shirt was a heavy shirt when I played for England.
“More so than Man United, for different reasons. The expectation. The years of disappointment which had gone before us.

“And our year was called the Golden Generation which heaped a bit more pressure on us at the time.
“The big difference between wearing an England shirt and a Man United shirt is that I felt very comfortable and confident at Man United that we were on the right lines, the tight pathway to success.
“Whereas with England I didn’t necessarily believe in it.

As a captain, as an England player, the shirt was a heavy shirt when I played for England.
    Rio Ferdinand

“When I look back now – at the time I thought I did – but I look back now with hindsight and just think that I didn’t believe in the tactics.

“With that comes doubt and when doubt creeps into any sportsman’s mind, you know you are on a losing run then.”
Ferdinand was selected by caretaker England boss Peter Taylor and went on to star for Sven-Goran Eriksson, Fabio Capello and Roy Hodgson.
But the baggage and the pressure of knowing England expects weighed the golden generation down and says the current squad, under Gareth Southgate, has conquered those demands due to some shrewd man-management and the innocence of youth.
He said: “I think that’s all changed now under Gareth. The way he approaches it and the way he’s got these young players coming through, moulding them together.”
Ferdinand expressed his candid thoughts during an interview with England rugby union captain Owen Farrell as part of the six-part #SoundOfSupport series for the Heads Up campaign.
Mental health is a hugely important issue for Ferdinand, who suffered personal tragedy when his wife Rebecca died of breast cancer in May 2015, aged 34.

Ferdinand’s memoir of his wife’s illness and subsequent bereavement, Thinking Out Loud, was published in October 2017.
He married for the second time, in 2019, when he wed Kate Wright, who he can share his worries and anxieties with.
However he admits that kind of emotional intimacy was something he shied away from in his playing days, and says it took a visit to England’s rugby squad to realise even the toughest guys in sport have to share their fears and anxieties sometimes.
In the video, Ferdinand told Farrell: “I’ve been in a dressing room with you guys after a game and I remember coming out with Michael Carrick and going …. Phew!
“You guys seemed able to breathe and talk and communicate – that was a massive, massive difference to what it was with our generation.
“In my generation, [we’d] never, go into a room on our own, sit there and go ‘Guys listen, Cup Final tomorrow, I’m so nervous’. Because everyone would sit there and go ‘What?”.
“You’d look at him as if to say ‘He’s a weak link, he’s going to be a nightmare tomorrow for us’. Whereas you guys seem like you’re a bit more forward-thinking, in that we can rally round.
Now looking back, I think ‘maybe I could have helped a few people through who maybe would have helped us in the long run if I had put an arm around the shoulder or been a little bit more softer around those issues’.”

Farrell led England to the Rugby Union world cup final in Japan last November and said: The build-up to a test week can be a long week and you know everyone has got their own thoughts. The main thing for us is to speak what we are thinking.
“If that’s something that makes you a bit more vulnerable then that’s good. Because if you’re thinking it, I’d probably think a few more are as well.
“So to put it out there and come up with a solution together is a stronger way of doing it.”

In a new Heads Up series, he reveals he managed to cope by talking it through with  the club and team-mates.
Lingard, 27, said: “I was the type of guy that liked to bottle things up.  Deal with it on my own.
“When serious things happened, it was the right time to speak out.
‘Last season, I went through some things with my family.

“So, it was difficult to perform on the field.
“My mum was going through some things. Depression and what not. She went to London to get that sorted out.

“I had to look after my  brother and sister, who are 12 and 15.
“You get to the point where you think, ‘Right, I  need to speak to someone and  say how I feel’.

“And then I felt so much better.”

Chelsea and Man Utd transfer boost as Leicester’s top-four flop opens door for Ben Chilwell exit

LEICESTER’S failure to secure Champions League football is set to cost them the chance to persuade Ben Chilwell his future remains at the club.
Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in the England star.

    1

Leicester’s failure to secure Champions League football is set to cost them the chance to persuade Ben Chilwell his future remains at the club
The Foxes had hoped to be able to offer top-level European football as a carrot to convince him to stay at the King Power.
But their late-season collapse saw a top-four finish slip through their fingers with 23-year-old Chilwell’s two suitors making the cut instead.
There would be more money on offer if Chilwell did push for a move but that is not the only factor in making his mind up.
He also wants to cement his place as England’s first-choice left-back with the Euros looming — and Champions League football helps his cause.

But manager Brendan Rodgers went on record to announce Chilwell is not for sale.
He said: “He’s not a player we want to lose. I’m quite relaxed on it. I’m not worried at all.
“We’ve got a fantastic squad that we want to keep together so I don’t worry.
“You can spin it whichever way you want. There is no intention to sell Ben Chilwell and there is absolutely no need for us to sell Ben Chilwell.

“If you want a message, the message is he’s not for sale.”
Leicester have decided against the permanent signing of Wolves centre-back Ryan Bennett.
The Foxes had the option to buy him for £5million but he will now return to Molineux.

Man Utd transfer target Jack Grealish worried Aston Villa’s £80m demands will price him out of summer move

JACK GREALISH faces being priced out of a major summer move.
Aston Villa want a huge £80million for their star man after his goal at West Ham helped keep them in the Premier League.

But top clubs are unlikely to pay that for Grealish, 24, and Villa will play hardball.
They are desperate to keep hold of the midfield ace, who earns around £100,000 a week.
He came close to joining Tottenham in 2018 but Villa’s owners blocked the move.
Grealish has expressed a desire to play European football but his employers are confident he will pledge his long-term future to his boyhood team.

Manager Dean Smith took his Villa squad for celebratory drinks after the 1-1 draw at West Ham secured top-flight status.
Asked about Grealish on talkSPORT, Smith joked: “I gave him a few shots last night and got him to sign a new five-year contract.
“It’s not been done yet . . . it was written in sambuca, I’m not sure if it was mine or his!
“Jack’s a wonderful lad and I’ve got all the time in the world for him and I’m so pleased that he scored the goal that kept us in the Premier League.”

The Villa boss was so sozzled after the boozy celebration he slept over in his office.
And despite Roy Keane criticising the team’s jubilant celebrations in the London Stadium changing room, Smith said: “What time did I get to bed? I am not sure.
“But I am not great as it was a heavy night.
“I slept in my office at the training ground. I slipped off so the lads didn’t see me go.
“They were right to go and celebrate. Some had written us off and had us relegated ten games ago but what a turnaround.
“We have given the lads three weeks off and I will sit down with the chief executive, sporting director and the owners.

“We need to be smart in the market. There has been such a big turnaround of players.
“I am really proud of the players and how they adapted to the Premier League. It has taken time.
“I said to the players in the dressing room after the game, this feels better than getting promoted.”

Man Utd set new Premier League record for most penalties awarded in a season with 14 after beating Palace’s 2005 tally

    PENALTY, ref!
On Sunday, Manchester United were incredibly awarded their 14th spot kick off their Premier League campaign in their crunch match against Leicester City.

Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes cooly slotted the ball home after former Red Devil Jonny Evans and Foxes veteran Wes Morgan slid in to tackle Anthony Martial racing through on goal.
The goal set United up for a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium and clinched a lucrative Champions League place for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
But it was the award of that 14th penalty that broke a record.
This 2019-20 Manchester United team has been awarded the most penalties by a single team in a Premier League season.

They beat a record set by Crystal Palace in 2004-05 and Leicester City during their Premier League-winning campaign of 2015-16, who had both won 13 penalties apiece.
And the next five times after that are all joint on 12 penalties awarded during one calendar year.
In 2009-10, Carlo Ancelotti led Chelsea to the Premier League and a FA Cup double.
And the Blues were awarded a dozen penalties in the league.

2013-14 Liverpool were agonisingly close to a title win under Brendan Rodgers, just falling short at the final hurdle.

They too were awarded 12 penalties during that season.
Arsene Wenger’s 2006-07 Arsenal, with attacking players including Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie, and Cesc Fabregas also make the list.

On their way to their only Premier League title in 1994-95, Blackburn Rovers were given 12 penalties too during the season.
Record breakers United feature again, this time in 2018-19, when they were managed by Jose Mourinho (until his sacking) and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Incredibly, in all competitions this season Manchester United have been awarded a total of 20 penalties.

James Maddison signs mega-money Leicester extension in blow to Man Utd

JAMES MADDISON has agreed to a double-your-money deal at Leicester.
In a massive boost to the Foxes ahead of their Champions League shootout against Manchester United today,  Maddison committed himself to the club until 2025.

    1

James Maddison has agreed to a double-your-money contract extension at Leicester
The England midfielder, who misses this afternoon’s vital clash through a hip injury, will earn around £95,000 a week including bonuses.
That package makes him one of Leicester’s highest-paid players behind top-earner Jamie Vardy, who is on around £120,000 a week.
The Midlands club is expected to announce Maddison’s contract as early as this week.
Maddison, 23, who made his senior England debut in November, had been linked with a big-money move to  United.

Leicester signed him in 2018  from Norwich for £22million and extending his initial five-year deal  is an important statement of intent by the club.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are fifth in the Premier League table, one point behind United and Chelsea ahead of today’s final day of the season.
But even if the Foxes fall short of a top-four finish on this occasion, the club’s owners have no intention of reining in their ambitions.

A new £100m training ground is due to open soon in Seagrave — and Rodgers believes it  will play a big part in helping Leicester continue to compete at the top end of the Premier League.

Convincing Maddison to extend his stay is another  piece in the jigsaw.
Talks to agree a new deal for the star began well before the Covid-19 pandemic.

James Maddison will NOT be joining Man Utd this transfer window, insists Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers More
