“I’ve always said that I missed the English league – I feel like it brings out the best in me as a player.
“I am so excited to return to it now and be a part of this fantastic football club.”

The Terrassa-born player registered her first major trophy win in Europe after Barca’s 4-0 Champions League defeat of Chelsea.
And her side knocked out City in the contest’s quarter-finals with a 4-2 aggregate win over two-legs.
The ex-Johan Cruyff Stadium captain led her old club on a storming run in Spain’s top-flight last term with the team netting 167 goals in 34 games.

City head coach Gareth Taylor said: “She is a player who has enjoyed an incredible level of success throughout her career so far and we’re thrilled to have brought someone of her calibre to the Club.
“Her winning mentality and desire to be at the top of her game matches our own ethos here at City.
“Vicky’s experience in high-pressure situations will also be very important to the team as a whole as we aim to lift more trophies in the near future.
“The fact that she has already previously made her mark in the Women’s Super League speaks volumes about her adaptability.
“We’re very much looking forward to working with her over the next few years.”
Losada, who has 64 Spain international caps, has joined a Man City side who were narrowly beaten by rivals Chelsea to last term’s WSL crown.

Harrison has made 128 appearances in all competitions for Leeds and impressed last season with eight goals and eight assists in the Premier League.

Harrison is Leeds’ second summer signing following the arrival of teenage winger Amari Miller from Birmingham.

According to The Telegraph, Villa are willing to offer their skipper £150,000-a-week to stay in Birmingham.
A new contract would increase Grealish’s £100million valuation even further and quash speculation regarding his future.
The attacking midfielder’s current deal doesn’t run out for another four years but Villa are desperate to keep their star asset.
Reports suggest Grealish is interested in joining Pep Guardiola at the Etihad and SunSport revealed his representatives were hopeful a deal could be agreed between the two clubs.
The Birmingham-born star has expressed his desire to play at a higher level, sighting Ben Chilwell’s success at Chelsea as an inspiration.
He recently told the press: “My ultimate goal? It’s got to be a trophy hasn’t it. I want to win either the Champions League or a major trophy with England, the Euros or the World Cup.
“Obviously, the World Cup would be iconic wouldn’t it? But I think the Euros is just as good. And then at club level, to win a Champions League.
“My best mate here, Chilly, has come off the back of winning. But yeah, I’ve got to say one of them – winning the Champions League or winning the World Cup or the Euros. So fingers crossed.”

Grealish has become a club legend at Villa Park since making his Premier League debut in May 2014, leading them to promotion from the Championship in 2019.

And Grealish has shown he can perform against the best, coming off the bench to inspire England to a 2-0 victory against Germany at the Euros.
The Villa star assisted Harry Kane’s late goal at Wembley – another player linked with City.

Grealish’s admission will send a chill through Villa, who are considering offering him a new deal in a bid to keep him.
The 25-year-old said: “My ultimate goal? It’s got to be a trophy hasn’t it. I want to win either the Champions League or a major trophy with England, the Euros or the World Cup.
“Obviously, the World Cup would be iconic wouldn’t it? But I think the Euros is just as good. And then at club level, to win a Champions League.
“My best mate here, Chilly, has come off the back of winning. But yeah, I’ve got to say one of them – winning the Champions League or winning the World Cup or the Euros. So fingers crossed.”
Villa remain determined to try and build their future around Grealish and say they have begun talks over a new contract to keep him at the club.
But Man City boss Pep Guardiola would love to bring the playmaker to the Etihad and the champions are thought to be ready to make a formal offer once the Euros have finished.
In the meantime, Grealish is hoping his performance against Czech Republic on Tuesday will be enough to see him get the nod to play Germany in the last-16.
And the Villa star has revealed how arch-nemesis Vladimir Coufal played a key role in him producing his run and cross which set up Raheem Sterling’s winning goal.
BETTING SPECIAL: GET ENGLAND TO BEAT GERMANY AT 14/1

Coufal and Grealish developed a big rivalry over two games between Villa and West Ham last season, and the Three Lions ace said: “As I’ve received the ball, I faced someone up, and then Coufal was behind.
“I’ve played against Coufal a few times this season, and he actually done well against me in the second game.
“As I first received the ball, he said ‘right foot’ to the guy. He’s obviously thought I’m going to come in on my right, or try and shoot, which I probably would have.
“So as he said that I thought ‘nah, I’m going to go down the line and just stand it off in the back post and know how hopefully someone’s there’.
“It was one of them you know that if you put it in the right areas you’d expect someone to finish it and that’s what happened.
“It was the perfect start, that’s what I wanted to do, I wanted to go out there and just impact on the game, whether that be a goal or an assist.
“That’s what I’m paid to do you know so obviously got the assist early on – I still think I could have added a little bit more, got involved in the game a little bit more, but hopefully I done myself justice.”

How Man City could line up with Jack Grealish and Harry Kane as they plot £200m transfer splurge on England pair

MANCHESTER CITY could start the 2021-22 campaign with England stars Jack Grealish and Harry Kane leading the line for the Premier League champions.Pep Guardiola’s side are set to splash £200million in the transfer market in a bid to secure the Aston Villa playmaker and Tottenham striker.

And the addition of Grealish and Kane in an attacking trio alongside Riyad Mahrez would make Man City – who won the title at a canter last season – an even more formidable force than they already are.
With Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri lining up behind them, oppostition defences may as well just throw in the towel now.
SunSport revealed on Friday that Grealish’s representatives believe they have got the green light to leave the Midlands club.
Villa have remained insistent they do not want to sell the 25-year-old, who has four years left to run on the current deal.
But SunSport understands talks with Grealish’s agents Stellar over the past few weeks have left his team happy they now have an agreement which would allow the playmaker to quit once the Euros are over.
Man City have indicated they would be willing to break the current British transfer record, which sits at the £89m Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba.
And with Grealish wanting to step up to Champions League football, Villa understand they cannot stand in his way.
City have delayed any official offer while the player is on Euros duty.
But they are expected to make their move in July so Grealish can begin pre-season training with them.

BETTING SPECIAL: GET ENGLAND TO BEAT GERMANY AT 14/1

Meanwhile, Man City have also started the race to sign Kane by offering Tottenham £100m.
The preferred option for Tottenham striker Kane, 27, is City.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is determined to keep his man, who has three years left on a £230,000-a-week deal.
Levy has put a £150m price tag on the player’s head.
City boss Pep Guardiola does not expect any serious movement on their major transfer targets until after the summer’s international tournaments are concluded.
But the Prem champions are prepared to throw players like Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus into the deal.
Aymeric Laporte is another who could be involved in a swap transfer.

But Leipzig believe they are at the head of the queue to land the Germany Under-21 ace, rated at £8.5million by City.
He spent last season on loan at Anderlecht where he became of the most prolific strikers in Belgium after scoring 18 goals in 37 matches.
He also caught the eye at the Under-21 European Championships, scoring the winning goal in the final for Germany against Portugal, as well as finishing as the tournament’s top goalscorer with four strikes.
Nmecha recently confirmed he will not be returning for a second season at Anderlecht, where Man City legend Vincent Kompany is the manager.
RB Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Eintracht Frankfurt are all interested in Nmecha this summer.
Kompany, 35, took Nmecha under his wing in his final seasons at City, and their relationship blossomed last season at Anderlecht.

Nmecha said: “Kompany roughs me up in training but he’s really given me a lot of confidence because he’s played against the best strikers in the world and he’s telling me I can make it.t him being pigeon-holed as a ‘target man.’
“Kompany has told me what he doesn’t like playing against.
“If I hold it up against him I might lose the battle, so it’s more about running in behind and using my pace.
“I like going up against centre-halves, but I also like playing so I don’t want to overdo it. I don’t just want to be the big guy up front.”

He is a current Germany U21 international, despite being capped three times by England at the same level.
Nmecha’s younger brother Felix, 20, is also on Man City’s books, and has played four times for England Under 19s.

Ronaldo has one year left on his current Juve contract and finished the season with 36 goals in 44 appearances.
But it was a disastrous campaign for the Italian giants, who for the first time in TEN YEARS failed to win the Serie A title.
Now Juventus are plotting a major overhaul of their squad after axing Andrea Pirlo and replacing him with former manager Max Allegri.
According to Il BiancoNero, Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, 24, is one of stars they are looking at to fill the potential void left by Ronaldo.
Barcelona’s French ace Ousmane Dembele, 24, is on their radar as is another former City hero in 35-year-old Edin Dzeko – who is now at Roma.
And they are all in good company.
Napoli’s Andrea Petagna, Arkadiusz Milik of Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi are also on the shortlist.
Fiorentina’s 21-year-old hotshot Dusan Vlahovic is another name allegedly being targeted.
