Ronaldo is claimed to be ‘considering’ the offer, with Juventus ‘willing to negotiate’ with United.

“Juventus will negotiate a deal it if Ronaldo asks for it.”

The Italian giants are considering selling Ronaldo for financial reasons after being hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

Man Utd boosted in Ousmane Dembele transfer chase as Barcelona prepare January swoop for Memphis Depay

MANCHESTER UNITED have received a boost in their pursuit of Ousmane Dembele after Barcelona prepared to launch a January swoop for Lyon’s Memphis Depay.
The Red Devils had feared Barca would hold onto Dembele after their superstar youngster Ansu Fati, 17, suffered a knee injury which has ruled him out for four months.

But Sport reports the Catalan giants will launch a move in the New Year for former United flop Depay, 26.
However, in order for the Lyon skipper to be reunited with his old Holland boss Ronald Koeman at the Nou Camp, cash-strapped Barca must offload some unwanted stars – boosting United’s hopes of landing French ace Dembele.
After controversial president Josep Maria Bartomeu quit last month, managing committee president Carles Tusquets is steering the ship.

And the report states he said signings are possible but only if players are sold first.
United had turned to Dembele, 23, after failing to nab No1 target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in the last window.
And the Barca forward came close to arriving at Old Trafford on loan on deadline day before pulling the plug on a move at the last minute with reports suggesting he favoured a move to Juventus.
United could land Dembele for a cut-price £45million as Barca look to recoup some of the £124m they paid Borussia Dortmund for him in 2017.

Lionel Messi’s side need to raise quick cash to repair their disastrous finances after news they must cut £171m from their budget to avoid hitting the wall.

Dembele has scored 22 goals in 82 appearances for Barca but has failed to live up to his hefty price tag after struggling with form and fitness in Catalonia.
Barcelona are confident of signing Depay as they have a good relationship with Lyon.
Personal terms are not thought to be an issue after the LaLiga giants first went in for him in the summer.
And with Depay’s contract expiring at the end of the season he should be considerably cheaper this time around as the Ligue 1 side risk losing him for free next year.
Depay resurrected his career after a torrid spell in Manchester by leaving for the South of France in 2017, and has bagged 59 goals and 46 assists in 148 games for Lyon.

Man Utd considering sending Ethan Galbraith, Arnau Puigmal and Ethan Laird out on loan in January transfer window

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly considering sending young trio Ethan Galbraith, Arnau Puigmal and Ethan Laird out on loan in January.
The Manchester Evening News reports the talented youngsters, all 19, had been looked at for loan moves in the summer but remained at Old Trafford, partially due to injuries.

Laird and Puigmal were both reportedly carrying minor knocks at the back end of the transfer window with Galbraith also out of action in September and October.
All three have taken part in senior training under the watchful eye of boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Northern Ireland midfielder Galbraith made his Red Devils debut in the Europa League defeat to Astana last year after joining in 2017.
But despite having failed to add to his senior appearances, the central midfielder has impressed national boss Ian Baraclough, who compared him with Barcelona legends Andres Iniesta and Xavi.

Baraclough called him into the full squad after impressing with the Under-21s and said: “Not to put too much pressure on his shoulders, but he’s our little Iniesta or Xavi.”
Galbraith is believed to have a big future ahead of him and signed a new three-year deal with an option for a further 12 months at Old Trafford just last month.
Team-mate Laird stars at right-back and could provide competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in years to come.
After impressing with United’s Under-23s, Solskjaer gave him a couple of run outs with the first team in the Europa League last year.

Here’s who Manchester United have signed since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down

He joined United aged just nine and the England Under-19 ace has penned a deal until 2023.
Laird has, however, struggled with injuries and admitted to ‘sulking’ when first picking up knocks.
Spanish youth international Puigmal is a physical midfielder who is adept with both feet.
His preferred position is centre-mid but he can also cover right-wing and right-back.
He came through Espanyol’s youth system and United edged out Barcelona to snare him in July 2017.
He described the move as the ‘best moment in my life’ and has impressed in the Under-23s but is still awaiting a senior debut.
United are believed to want their starlets to pick up more senior experience after other prodigious youngsters like James Garner – who moved to Championship side Watford – were sent out on season-long loans.

Man Utd need FOUR new transfers of Bruno Fernandes’ quality to compete for Premier League title, claims Saha

MANCHESTER UNITED need FOUR new signings of the same quality as Bruno Fernandes to compete for the Premier League title, according to former striker Louis Saha.
United have had a fairly dismal start to the season and languish down in 14th in the Premier League table – with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feeling the heat.

But one man who has continued to shine is January signing Fernandes, 26, who bagged a double and an assist for new boy Edinson Cavani in the 3-1 win over Everton on Saturday.
And former Old Trafford forward Saha, 42, reckons his old side need to make a quadruple swoop of players cut from the same cloth as the Portuguese ace – to put themselves in with a shot at glory.
The Frenchman told Stadium Astro: “The focus is on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“But you also have to look at the recruitment. Some new signings like Fred, you can see the quality but he’s not going to make the difference.
“The signing of Fernandes, you need four of them. You need four of them to actually compete and this is what is missing.
“You need to know the mentality of new players.
“I want players there who want to win the Champions League and win big trophies. This is what is required here.”

Fernandes arrived from Sporting Lisbon for £50.8million at the start of 2020 and has bagged 18 goals and 13 assists in 33 appearances for the Red Devils.

Here’s who Manchester United have signed since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down

United failed in their pursuit of No1 transfer target Jadon Sancho in the summer but are reportedly back in for the Borussia Dortmund star.
The German club gave United chiefs a boost after CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke hinted they may eventually have to cash in amid the pandemic.
An alternative signing is Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele who came close to joining on loan on deadline day and is available as the cash-strapped Catalan giants look to raise funds in January.
United are also believed to be in the market for a central defender with players such as Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and RB Leipzig star Dayot Upamecano in the mix.
With Odion Ighalo returning to China in the New Year, talk of signing Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has resurfaced.
And former midfielder Paul Ince urged the Red Devils to land the Mexican striker.

Man Utd star Diogo Dalot wanted by AC Milan in permanent transfer after shining on loan

MANCHESTER UNITED full-back Diogo Dalot is reportedly wanted on a permanent basis by loan club AC Milan.
The 21-year-old moved to the San Siro on a season-long loan in October after making just one appearance since the start of the Red Devils’ campaign in the Carabao Cup win against Brighton.

Italian outlet Tuttosport reports the Rossoneri are considering snapping Dalot up permanently, despite the loan agreement having no option to buy.
United reportedly refused to include a buy clause as Old Trafford chiefs remain ‘convinced’ the Portugal Under-21 international will become a top star.
The Serie A leaders are thought to be impressed with his impact in Italy so far and believe he could have a big future with the side.

Dalot caught the eye in the Europa League after a stunning goal and assist against Sparta Prague saw the youngster grab the headlines.
Predominantly a right-back, versatile Dalot starred at left-back and put in a superb second-half performance.
He beat Sparta’s offside trap before unleashing Rafael Leao with an outside-of-the-boot assist.
He later made the same run and scored himself from outside the box as the keeper came rushing out and his heroics were enough to bag the man of the match gong.

It was previously reported that Milan were keen to open negotiations about a permanent transfer in January with boss Stefano Poli recognising his potential.

Here’s who Manchester United have signed since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down

Dalot is due back at Carrington at the end of the season but faces competition on the flanks from Aaron Wan-Bissaka as well as new signing Alex Telles.
He joined United in 2018 in a £19million move from Porto and may opt to return and prove himself with his parent club.
He penned a five-year deal at Old Trafford and the club have no need to sell but after tasting just 65 minutes of Premier League action in 2019-20, Dalot could also choose to leave for good.

Man Utd ‘set to return for Ousmane Dembele with January transfer bid as Barcelona look to offload winger’

MANCHESTER UNITED are looking to return in January with a bid to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona, reports suggest.
United failed with every attempt to bring a winger to the club in the summer window, including their doomed saga with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

They instead signed striker Edison Cavani on a free, but Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen to enhance his attacking options.
According to Mundo Deportivo, United will look to sign 23-year-old Dembele in the winter sales.
But they are said to be looking for a six-month loan with no option to buy.
That proved to be a stumbling block last time around as Barca instead wanted to sell the Frenchman permanently.

The Spanish giants – now managed by Ronald Koeman – missed out on signing Lyon’s Memphis Depay as a result of not selling enough stars.
Dembele, who has attracted attention from Liverpool before, remained in LaLiga and has featured seven times, starting three games this season.
The £124million signing has just two years left on his contract, with his transfer value decreasing after every window.

But with United appearing unwilling to commit to anything other than a temporary loan deal, they could fail in a pursuit for Dembele.
Solskjaer is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford, after they slumped to consecutive defeats, first to Arsenal in the league and then at Istanbul Basaksehir.
The club are already reported to have approached former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino as a possible replacement – although SunSport understands no contact has yet been made.
They travel to fourth placed Everton this weekend placed 15th in the table.

Man Utd in Jadon Sancho transfer boost as Dortmund admit there is ‘limit’ to how long they can fight off interest in ace

MANCHESTER UNITED received a boost in their Jadon Sancho pursuit after Borussia Dortmund admitted there is a ‘limit’ to how long they can bat away interest.
The Red Devils made England ace Sancho, 20, their No1 transfer target over the summer but his Bundesliga employers held firm and a £108million move failed to materialise.

But now United are set to go back in for the former Manchester City academy product.
And they have renewed hope after Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke hinted they may eventually have to cash in amid the pandemic.
The 61-year-old exec told Sport Bild: “We could have made a big, valuable transfer in the summer, that’s well known. But we’re glad it didn’t come to this.

“Of course, we will also implement transfers again in the future, because Covid is clearly throwing us back.
“Even the biggest clubs are feeling the effects of the pandemic, be it Bayern, Barcelona or Real Madrid.
“At some point you come to the limit of what you can answer for. You can even see that in Munich right now with David Alaba as an example.”
Watzke suggested United ‘misjudged’ their pursuit of Sancho in the last window.

And some reports even suggested the Red Devils offered him a PAY CUT as they tried to scrape together the cash for a move.

Reports suggested Sancho told pals he will end up a United player but didn’t want to force a move for risk of souring relations with Dortmund – where he has become a mentor for youngsters like Jude Bellingham.
And his slow start to the season in Germany – no goals in five league games – could suggest his mind is already elsewhere.
Dortmund boss Lucian Favre implied his poor form could be linked to the transfer speculation and perhaps it will be mutually beneficial for both parties for a deal to be done as soon as January.
