Amad Diallo learning English ahead of Man Utd arrival and will link up with U23s but is torn between two shirt numbers

He had been tracked by United scouts since 2016 after he was spotted at U15 level.
And they are finally set to get their man within the next weeks.
The transfer fee for the teenager is expected to rise to £37million including add-ons.
United beat Italian side Parma after an emotional Facetime call with Solskjaer convinced him to pick the Red Devils.

The deal was finalised back in October but he was unable to join up with them until a later date.
Now he has passed his medical and agreed personal terms, he has also received the green light for a work permit.
According to Norwegian journalist Fredrik A. Filtvedt, the teen is already working on his English.
And he is also trying to decide between two potential squad numbers with his new side.

Diallo reportedly has the choice of wearing either the 19 or 79 for United.
He has been playing with the Serie A side’s academy during the 2020-21 season but made history after his breakthrough to their first-team.
He scored on his debut, making him the first player born in 2002 to score in the Italian top-flight.
It is widely-believed he will link up with United’s U23 side upon his arrival in Manchester before moving up to join Solskjaer’s senior squad.

Man Utd linked with fresh Paulo Dybala transfer swoop but face competition from PSG with Pochettino keen on Juventus ace

MANCHESTER UNITED are once again being linked with a transfer swoop for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala.
But they could face some competition for the Argentine star if Mauricio Pochettino gets the Paris Saint-Germain job.

According to Tuttosport if Poch is the man chosen to replace Thomas Tuchel, he would be keen on signing countryman Dybala.
Pochettino tried unsuccessfully to bring Dybala to Tottenham during his tenure in North London.
United also came close to signing Dybala in the summer of 2019, but that move broke down over wages and agents’ fees.
SunSport has reported how Pochettino is in ‘advanced talks’ tp take over at PSG.

Pochettino has been out of a job since being sacked by Tottenham 13 months ago.
He had been holding out for the Manchester United job with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position under constant scrutiny.
But after a disappointing start to the season Solskjaer has got United back into the title race and the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Pochettino is now ready to take the jump back into management at the club where he played between 2001-03.

And his first transfer target when the window opens in the New Year will be one of his former players at Tottenham.
While Alli was a regular in Pochettino’s teams he has fallen out of favour with current boss Jose Mourinho.
Alli, 24, has started just five games this season and was hauled off shortly after Stoke equalised in their 3-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final victory on Wednesday and publicly blamed by Mourinho for their goal.

Meet Man Utd and Chelsea transfer target Moises Caicedo – the Ecuador starlet who loves Kante but dreams of Old Trafford

MOISES CAICEDO is not likely to be short of options across Europe when the transfer window opens in January.
The Ecuadorian is a wanted man with Manchester United, Chelsea, RB Leipzig and AC Milan just some of the clubs scrambling for his signature.

And with just a £5million price-tag on his head, the 19-year-old midfield sensation could prove to be a bargain.
    Who are ya?
Caicedo currently plays in Ecuador for Independiente del Valle having joined the club aged 13.
He has progressed to become the star name in their side after making his debut aged 17.
And his rise on the pitch has been so phenomenal that he is already an Ecuadorian international with four caps under his belt.

It was playing for his country in their 2022 World Cup qualification matches that earned the attention from scouts across Europe and led to Manchester United making their move.
Caicedo helped inspire his country to three wins in those four matches including scoring in a 4-2 win over Uruguay.
His goal saw him become Ecuador’s youngest ever scorer.

    His strengths…
Caicedo is regarded as a powerful midfielder and has been likened to both Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante.

He came through the ranks as a no-nonsense defensive midfielder.
But his ability and all-round play as seen him push further up the field and contribute in an attacking sense.
Caicedo has the pace and skill to breeze through the opposition and boasts brilliant vision making him capable of picking out defence-splitting passes.
Independiente de Valle’s coach Miguel Angel Ramirez also heaped praise on his intelligence.
He told Marca: “Moises understands the game, he has grown a lot in his understanding since he came to the first team.
“He has a great first touch and good control, which helps him keep the game moving.”

    Where’s he going?
It’s good news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with United well and truly in the driving seat for his signature.
The Norwegian sees the rising star as Nemanja Matic’s long-term replacement while he could also fill the void if Paul Pogba leaves the club.
And Caicedo himself has admitted it’s his ‘dream’ to play at Old Trafford in the future.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo in May, he said: “My dream is to arrive at Manchester United.
“I like English football a lot because it is a quick style of football.”
And he also revealed how he wants to follow in Kante and Pogba’s footsteps by playing in the Premier League.
He told Global Digital TV: “My challenge is one day to be in the elite of world football. I have proposed this to myself, my dream is to play in the big leagues.
“I really like the game of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, I learn a lot from them every time I see them. I always try to do what they do, that’s why they are there.”

And it appears a deal to United could be closer than ever after his boss confirmed they have received an offer.
Ramirez said: “We have received an offer from a European club for Moises Caicedo, we are negotiating the proposal.
“It is most likely that he will not be in our team in 2021 due to the proposal we’ve received, it is very difficult to keep him.”

Chelsea look to steal Moises Caicedo from Man Utd as Lampard makes £4.5m transfer Ecuador midfielder, aged 19

CHELSEA have reportedly joined Manchester United in the hunt to prise Ecuadorian teenager Moises Caicedo away from Independiente del Valle.
The Red Devils were believed to be in pole position to secure the 19-year-old midfielder’s services following his dazzling displays this season.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that United were in talks to sign the teenager – who has been capped four times for his country’s senior side.
He said: “Manchester United are in direct contact with the agents of Moises Caicedo (Indep. del Valle).
“The agreement on personal terms [5 years] won’t be a problem. €5m (£4.5m) price tag.
“#MUFC ‘control’ the situation by weeks and will decide soon whether to complete the deal or not.”

However according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have entered the race to bring Caicedo to England.
And they have also claimed that while United are interested in the player, talks aren’t yet at an advanced stage.
It has been stated that the Blues have sent scouts to watch the youngster in action.
Chelsea are also said to have held discussions with Independiente del Valle about a possible £4.5million deal.

United will be desperate not to lose out on another promising talent with Celta Vigo defender Stefan Bajcetic believed to prefer a move to Liverpool.
And United aren’t just competing with Chelsea for Caicedo’s signature, as Brighton and Newcastle are also interested.
But United will hope the fact the player is a boyhood fan of the club will prove to be crucial.
In a recent TV interview, he said: “Manchester United are my favourite club.
“I really like the game of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba, I learn a lot from them every time I see them.
“I always try to do what they do, that’s why they are there.”

Man Utd set to be beaten by Liverpool in Stefan Bajcetic transfer battle but must seal deal for Celta Vigo ace, 16, soon

LIVERPOOL are reportedly in pole position to land Manchester United target Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo.
SunSport reported last week how the Red Devils were in negotiations with the Spanish side about bringing the 16-year-old defender to Old Trafford.

Celta Vigo defender Stefan Bajcetic is attracting interest from Liverpool and Manchester United

But according to the Liverpool Echo, it is now the Reds that are winning the race to secure the centre-back’s services.
They claim that the Merseyside outfit are in talks to bring the player to Anfield.
Liverpool scouts have been impressed by Bajcetic, who has featured twice for Celta’s B team this season after being promoted to the squad.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are however in a race against time to sign the teenager as they need to wrap up a deal before the UK leaves the EU on January 1.

Clubs will be unable to sign overseas players under the age of 18 under the new post-Brexit transfer rules.
Spanish news outlet Faro de Vigo have also stated that United appear to have lost out on Bajcetic to their Premier League rivals.
They have revealed that someone from Liverpool travelled to Vigo earlier this week in an attempt to accelerate negotiations.
Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig were also monitoring his situation, but all signs now point towards a move to Liverpool.

The Reds are continuing to look to strengthen their academy after nabbing Calum Scanlon from Birmingham for £500,000.
Taking to Instagram, the versatile 15-year-old posted a picture of himself signing his contract.
He said: “Happy to sign with @liverpoolfc.
“A big thank you to @bcfc and everyone who has helped me progress to this point, but as of today I start a new chapter.
“The hard work continues, let’s go!”

Man Utd fighting Barcelona for Yusuf Demir transfer with 17-year-old Rapid Vienna ace latest wonderkid being eyed

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly battling Barcelona for the signature of Rapid Vienna’s 17-year-old wonderkid Yusuf Demir.
Kronen Zeitung reports the Red Devils are chasing the Austrian playmaker but face competition from the Catalan giants.

Demir has broken into Rapid’s first team and featured against Arsenal in the Europa League this season.
The report states Demir could find himself at the Nou Camp but not until the summer at the earliest.
The talented youngster’s agent, Emre Ozturk, sparked major transfer rumours by sharing a photo online of him in Barcelona.
Demir’s representative captioned the shot ‘ready for meeting’ ahead of a potential move to LaLiga.

However, despite many presuming he was holding talks over Demir’s future, the player’s agent claimed he was on a business trip of a different nature.
He said: “I’m not in Barcelona because of Yusuf Demir, but because of Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal, whom we also represent.”
Demir has made ten appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga so far this season, notching one goal and two assists.
The player’s management are reportedly exploring the ‘general conditions’ with Barca and are seeking assurances about what the Blaugrana have planned for their highly rated prospect.

Demir has a contract until 2022 which he signed at just 15 and has impressed European giants playing as an inverted winger.
The left-footed star has quick feet and is technically gifted with a great range of passing and would fit in well in Spain.
But United are also keen on the player as the Red Devils continue their shift in recruitment strategy towards younger stars rather than targeting already established pros.
Uruguayan Facundo Pellistri, 19, arrived at Old Trafford on deadline day and fellow teenager Amad Diallo is expected to seal the £37million deal that was agreed with Atalanta back in October next month after the arrival of his Italian passport.
And United have been heavily linked with bringing in Moises Caicedo, 19, on a five-year deal from Independiente del Valle in his native Ecuador.

Man Utd join Liverpool in Ozan Kabak transfer race as Schalke lower asking price to £25m and Reds eye Origi swap deal

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly joined the chase for Schalke defender Ozan Kabak.
The 20-year-old has a host of clubs from across the continent interested in signing him.

Now the Daily Mail states Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are battling with Liverpool for his signature.
Schalke were wanting £40m for the star but have now lowered their asking price to just £25m.
Liverpool have been linked with a potential swap deal for the ace that could involve £20m-rated striker Divock Origi heading to the Bundesliga as part of the package for Kabak.
RB Leipzig are also looking at Turkish international Kabak as they brace themselves to receive offers for their duo Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konate.

Both have buyout clauses and also interesting both Liverpool and United.
But while Jurgen Klopp decides on his top defensive target, Solskjaer is desperate to add a dominant centre-half to his ranks to partner Harry Maguire.
Leipzig’s Upamecano was top choice for Solskjaer and has a release fee of £36.5m.
However, Kabak could prove to be a cheaper alternative with his physical style of play making him a great match for the Premier League.

Meanwhile, United are also believed to be watching Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo from Independiente del Valle.
The 19-year-old has been scouted for months by the Red Devils.
But reports of a £4.5m deal being agreed are unfounded with no offer yet to be tables.

Man Utd outcast Phil Jones set for January loan transfer with club ‘willing to pay big chunk of £120k-a-week wages’

PHIL JONES could be handed an exit route out of Manchester United next month.
The Red Devils are reportedly ready to allow the England defender to leave on loan, while also paying a substantial portion of his wages.

Phil Jones’ last appearance in the Premier League came almost 12 months agoCredit: PA:Empics Sport

Jones, 28, earns £120,000-a-week at Old Trafford having put pen to paper on a four-year contract in early 2019.
Since then, he has faded out of the team and Daily Star report on a potential move in January.
It is said that United will pay a big chunk of his wages if a loan club can be found.
Burnley, West Brom and Derby are all named as clubs monitoring the situation.

It was Sean Dyche’s side who Jones last faced in the Premier League, with a 90-minute outing in a 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley almost 12 months ago.
However, the Clarets are reportedly only keeping tabs on the centre-back in case James Tarkowski leaves when the transfer window reopens.

Sam Allardyce’s recent appointment at West Brom is thought to push the Baggies towards Jones.
The 66-year-old gave the player his professional debut in 2009 while manager of Blackburn.

And another reunion could be on the cards if Wayne Rooney’s Derby can pull off a deal for Jones.
The pair played together at United and Rooney has so far enjoyed his start as the Rams’ interim coach, with an eye on the permanent job.

Jones is yet to play this season while recovering from a knee injury.
Previous reports have suggested that he will not contemplate his future until he is fit to play.
And United may use any cash earned from a departure to reinforce their defence, with RB Leipzig ace Dayot Upamecano reportedly a major target.
