    CHRIS & MAKE UP
Christian Eriksen has revealed he is desperate to STAY at Inter Milan just six months after begging the club to sell him.
Spurs, Manchester United, Wolves and Leicester were all rumoured to be in for the Danish star earlier this season.
But now after finding his feet under the Italian and helping the club win their first Serie A crown in 11 years, Eriksen is desperate to help ‘build something beautiful’ at the San Siro.
On his rocky start to life at Inter, Eriksen told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I was willing to learn new things when I arrived. I hadn’t understood I had to follow’s Conte system all the time.
“Before, I was free to make decisions based on what I saw. It had a lot to do with intuition. Now, there is a general plan we have to follow… we must be ready, know where our team-mates are and where they can move. I had to learn all this and adapt to a different pace.
“We spoke in January, and I’ve proved what I am able to do. I have no revenge to take, I just play football. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn’t. This is a sport that evolves quickly, almost every week. Six months ago I was living in a different situation, now we have a trophy and I can say I am really happy here at Inter.
“It was hard to win this title, but we did it with four games remaining. It’s a good starting point, now we can begin a new cycle… it will be hard to win nine titles in a row, but we’ll try to build something beautiful. Conte is so important for each one of us, also for the way we play. We follow him and you see that on the pitch.
“Everyone is so happy to have won with him.. but his stay is not up to me – it depends on the club and him.”

    DWIGHT FIGHT
Aston Villa are ready to launch a £15million bid for Burnley ace Dwight McNeil, according to reports.
The talented winger has been admired by Manchester United and Arsenal in the past.
But Dean Smith wants to take him to the West Midlands.
According to Football Insider, McNeil is one of Villa’s ‘top targets’ for the summer.
And they think that £15m could be enough to convince Burnley to sell.
The Clarets, however, agreed a contract extension with McNeil last October, currently tying him to Sean Dyche’s side until June 2024.
And Burnley are believed to have an option to trigger an extra year.

    EXCLAMATION MARK
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may think Manchester United’s fixture schedule is ‘impossible’.
But the demands of the Red Devils playing four games in eight days is not a patch on Mark Hughes’ heroic efforts of playing two games on the same day!
Remarkably, Hughes played in two different countries on November 11, 1987.
The Welshman completed 90 minutes for his nation in a crucial Euro qualifier against Czechoslovakia in Prague and then came off the bench in Bayern Munich’s German Cup second-round replay 3-2 extra-time win over Borussia Monchengladbach that night.

    HUGE WIN FOR YOUNGSTERS
United’s U18s scored eight against Middlesbrough in an emphatic victory earlier today.
Dillon Hoogewerf and Charlie McNeill both hit hat-tricks in the 8-1 win.
Here’s the best of the action…

    ROONEY’S DERBY SURVIVE
Wayne Rooney’s Derby County have survived relegation after a dramatic final day in the Championship.
Derby’s 3-3 draw against relegation rivals Sheffield Wednesday was enough to keep them up and ensure Rooney doesn’t have a relegation on his CV.

    FINAL DAY CHAOS
Salford City’s final League Two match of the season against Leyton Orient has been delayed by one hour due to torrential rain.
The match was scheduled to take place at 3pm on Saturday afternoon but instead has been pushed back to 4pm due to the weather.
The club, who are owned by United legends Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and David Beckham, currently sit ninth in the table heading into the final day.
In order to make the final play-off place they need to win their match on Saturday afternoon and hope both Forest Green Rovers and Exeter City drop points.
As a result, the delay to the game could be a blessing in disguise for Salford as they will know in the second half of their match whether or not a victory will see them move into the play-offs at the latest possible stage.
The current play-off places are held by Morecambe, Newport County, Tranmere Rovers and Forest Green.
    MAGIC TUCH
Manchester United transfer target Ousmane Dembele has revealed that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is the best manager he has played under.
The 23-year-old Frenchman was coached by Tuchel during his time as a teenager at Borussia Dortmund.
And it is another player during his time at Dortmund – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – that he describes as his best teammate.
Speaking to BeIN Sports, he said: “Things went super at Dortmund, a super squad, Aubameyang who welcomed me amazingly, even if it was quite tough with the German.
“Aubameyang really welcomed me well, he is the person that I have liked the most in football.
“And like I said Thomas Tuchel really convinced me, he is my favourite manager.”
    YOUNG QUESTIONS LUKAKU SALE
Ashley Young has criticised United’s decision to sell Romelu Lukaku.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the ex-United skipper said: “I said it at the time, I couldn’t understand the decision [to sell Lukaku].
“Whether it was made quickly or not, Romelu has proved a lot of people wrong.
“He’s worked unbelievably hard. There was talk that he was overweight and couldn’t do this or that.
“He’s smashed records and made history in Italy, he’s been unbelievable for the club.
“For me he was fantastic even in the Premier League, to go out there and face another challenge, I think it was the right choice for him.
“He deserves all the plaudits he is getting.”
    ICYMI – GLAZER OFFER
Joel Glazer says he will meet with Man Utd’s Fan Forum at the end of the season following Sunday’s protests.
Glazer wrote in an open letter: “I want to acknowledge the need for change, with deeper consultation with you as our main fan representative body across a range of important issues, including the competitions we play in.
“We also recognise the importance of fan and football interests being embedded in key decision-making processes at every level of the club, and we are open to constructive discussions on how to reinforce that principle.
“We will reach out to members of the forum to schedule a meeting in which I shall participate as soon as possible after the final game of the season.”

    WHAT IS THIS?
Ex-United defender Alexander Buttner has reportedly got a mural of him, Sir Alex Ferguson and the Premier League trophy painted in his house.
The left back, who has since played for Dynamo Moscow, Anderlecht, Vitesse and New England Revolution, made just FIVE Premier League appearances during the title-winning campaign.
Despite his minor contribution, the 32-year-old is believed to have splashed the below image across one of his walls.
    Remarkable…

    BARC-ING MAD
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have vowed to go to war with Uefa over threats to throw them out of European competition for sticking to the Super League plans.
The three clubs have been warned by the governing body they face a two-year ban from their competitions unless they finally give up their intention to play in the rebel tournament.
But in a joint statement released this morning, the football superpowers doubled down on their refusal to give up on the project and made it clear they think the law is on their side.
Real, Barca and Juve are all now prepared to fight it through the courts to challenge any Uefa ban as they desperately try to cling on to the ESL dream which will save them from the financial turmoil they have left themselves in.

    FIRST TROPHY WITH UNITED?
If Manchester United defeat Villarreal in the Europa League final on May 26, 17 first-team players will win their first major honour with the club.
That list includes the likes of Scott McTominay, Nemanja Matic, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Bruno Fernandes, Fred, captain Harry Maguire and, of course, Lee Grant.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper, who has played twice for the club, is part of their Europa League squad.

    BEEK IN BUSINESS
Jose Mourinho could be set to turn to his former club Manchester United in order to sign outcast Donny van de Beek, according to reports.
The Red Devils midfielder, 24, has struggled throughout his first season at Old Trafford.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Portuguese coach already has his eye on acquiring Van de Beek in the summer.
The Dutchman has played just 16 times in the Premier League this season, scoring one and assisting another.
But Mourinho, who was announced as Roma boss earlier this week, is looking to bolster his squad as the Italian side have suffered a dreadfully poor campaign.

    CAVANI THE PRIORITY
Edinson Cavani has been in excellent form recently, picking up United’s Player of the Month award for April.
He was involved in SEVEN of United’s eight goals against Roma during the two-legged tie.
But the 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season – and it is believed the Red Devils are desperate to keep him at Old Trafford.
According to respected journalist Fabrizio Romano, getting Cavani to sign a new deal is United’s ‘priority’.
A contract extension for Luke Shaw – arguably their best player this season after Bruno Fernandes – also looks likely.
Manchester United are working to extend Cavani’s contract as priority – the club is still ‘confident’ to complete the agreement soon, it’s up to Edinson. 🔴 #MUFCMan Utd are also planning to offer Luke Shaw a new contract. The negotiations could start in the next weeks. ⏳— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) May 7, 2021

    A GOOD OMEN?
Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the Europa League during his first season at United in 2017.
Edinson Cavani could also win the Europa League during his first season at the club.
What do the two players have in common?
They were both free signings from Paris Saint-Germain.

    SCOTT LOVES A STUNNER
Scott McTominay has become a fan favourite at Old Trafford since making his Premier League debut in 2017.
The 24-year-old has scored 10 league goals for United – and most of them have been cracking strikes.
It’s fair to say the Scotland international doesn’t do tap-ins.

    GREENWOOD THIRD YOUNGEST
Mason Greenwood is the third youngest player to make 100 appearances for United, behind legends Norman Whiteside and George Best.
At 19 years and 217 days, he’s reached the landmark quicker than Ryan Giggs and Duncan Edwards.
The future looks bright for the talented forward…

    GOOD MORNING RED DEVILS FANS
Glazer also vowed to invest in Old Trafford and the Carrington training complex – as well as Man United’s squad.
But his comments received a lukewarm reception from the Man Utd Supporters Trust, who said they want actions and not words.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba is yet to discuss a new United contract, it has been reported.
The Frenchman’s deal expires at the end of next season after the Red Devils enacted an optional 12-month extension to the deal he signed in 2016.
And, according to Sky Sports, United have not opened talks over a renewal with Pogba focused on a successful end to the season.
Finally, Sky have also revealed there could be ‘war’ between Erling Haaland’s representatives and Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The German club reportedly want £150million for the reported Man Utd target, regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League.
But agent Mino Raiola has already talked openly about a move and Dortmund finishing outside the top four in Bundesliga could heighten that push.

“They’ve given me this opportunity to be a manager and I’m committed whatever the outcome is.
“I’m never one to walk away from a challenge. I want to push this club forward.”

Inter Miami are ready to rival Watford for Ashley Young should he exit Inter Milan.
Ex-England star Young, 35, won Serie A with the Italian giants this season but his current contract expires this summer.
Watford are keen on bringing back their former academy product in what would be an emotional homecoming ahead of their return to the Premier League.
But David Beckham’s MLS franchise Miami also fancy signing the versatile veteran, who won the Premier League in 2013 with Manchester United.

    KEEP LOOKING
Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing up a move for Manchester United keeper David De Gea, according to reports.
The Portuguese manager was announced as the Italian club Roma’s successor to Paulo Fonseca earlier this week, just two weeks after he was sacked by Tottenham.
And according to Todofichajes one of the first transfers he wants to make as Roma manager is the acquisition of 30-year-old De Gea.
De Gea has recently been out of favour at Old Trafford following the promotion of Dean Henderson to the No1 spot.
Jose Mourinho could sign David De Gea for Roma
    SOL DESTROYING
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has slammed the decision to make Manchester United play twice in 48 hours to solve their fixture mayhem.
The Red Devils must face Leicester on Tuesday before the rearranged Liverpool clash on Thursday, which was delayed by fan protests.
And the boss said: “It’s unheard of. It’s made by people who have never played football at this level.
“It’s physically impossible for the players. We have not been dealt a good hand.
“We are going to need everyone for these four games. It’s a short turnaround but we have to be ready.”

The Premier League’s Big Six have agreed to multi-million pound fines from Uefa – as a condition of being allowed back into European football.
Uefa chiefs confirmed they had agreed “reintegration measures” with the nine clubs – including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, City and United.
As a condition of the deal, the nine – completed by AC Milan, Inter and Atletico Madrid – will share a slap on the wrist £13m “goodwill” payment to be ploughed into youth and grassroots football, including in the UK.
But all nine, who Uefa said had “acknowledged their mistake”, also agreed to give up five per cent of the money they would have received from Uefa for their next European campaign.
And they agreed they would face massive fines of £87m if they joined any future breakaway, or £43.5m if they merely committed to any such new league.
Nine of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ have been punished by Uefa for their role in the ESL
    SANCHO HOPE
Borussia Dortmund will reportedly be open to selling Jadon Sancho for £80million this summer.

And now he could find a route out of the club in the form of ex-Man Utd boss Mourinho.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Portuguese coach already has his eye on acquiring Van de Beek in the summer.
The Dutchman has played just 16 times in the Premier League this season, scoring one and assisting another.
He has been largely forced to play second fiddle at Man Utd to the likes of Scott McTominay, Fred, Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
But Mourinho, who was announced as Roma boss earlier this week, is looking to bolster his squad as the Italian side have suffered a dreadfully poor campaign.
Outgoing manager Paulo Fonseca has overseen a disappointing season in Serie A which currently sees them sitting in seventh.
And Mourinho has already been linked with numerous players in the transfer window, with a six-man shortlist reported yesterday.
Among those names are Tottenham duo Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, the latter of which impressed under Mourinho at Spurs.

The new Roma boss is also said to be looking at Van de Beek’s teammate Matic and Real Madrid forward Isco.
Wolves striker Raul Jimenez is another player Mourinho could be set to ask for, along with Lille and Portugal international Renato Sanches.
Sanches, 23, won the Golden Boy award for Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2016 but then went on to perform shockingly on loan at Swansea City.
But since then he has recovered his career at Ligue 1 table toppers Lille, who look set to pip Paris Saint-Germain to the title.

Joel Glazer’s words have received a lukewarm reception from the Man Utd Supporters Trust, who want actions and not words.
In a statement, MUST said: “The response could in theory – and we emphasise in theory only – be a change in direction and approach by the owners versus their silence and disregard for communication over the last 16 years.
“We will, however, determine our position based on the resulting actions rather than these words alone. We have seen empty words too many times previously.
“We will seek a mandate from our members and from the wider fanbase before proceeding. We only wish to engage in this process should our supporters want us to.
“The onus remains on the club to put right the problems of the past, not just the European Super League but the overall lack of communication and consultation by the owners.
“Our primary objective remains to ensure a supporter share scheme is put in place which carries equal voting rights to the shares held by the Glazer Family.”

Glazer added: “Our top priority is, and will always be, competing for the most important trophies, playing entertaining football with a team comprised of top-quality recruits and some of the world’s best homegrown talent.
“Success on the field must be underpinned by solid foundations off it. We have supported sustained investment in the team over many years, and that will continue this summer.
“We recognise that we will need to significantly increase investment in Old Trafford and our training complex to ensure that the club’s facilities remain among the best in Europe.”

    NEXT UP
It is Aston Villa away on the horizon for Manchester United.
The trip to Villa Park kicks off live on Sky at 2.05pm on Sunday, May 9.
And there is some good news for the visitors as Dean Smith has confirmed Jack Grealish will miss the match.
    GDANSK CALLING
Donny van de Beek earned a rare start in last night’s game and looked forward to the Europa League final on Twitter.
The Dutchman made the most passes in Roma’s half of any Manchester United player last night (31) and enjoyed a better passing accuracy (81.4%) than Bruno Fernandes.

    SEMPER FI
Harry Maguire is among the Premier League stars reportedly in talks to sign up to an eSports company.
Semper Fortis Esports, valued at £14million on the stock exchange, are said by Evening Standard to be on the verge of bringing in the defender as a brand ambassador.
Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also named as being in discussions.
Former Football League chairman Keith Harris is chairman of the British company.
    AMAZING JOURNEY
One of the Roma players to feature against Manchester United last night had taken a very difficult journey to get there.
Ebrima Darboe left Gambia along while still a teenager and spent time in a Libyan refugee camp having passed through human traffickers.
He made it to Sicily via boat before making a name for himself in the Italian game, and making his debut for Roma on the weekend.
Darboe said yesterday: “I was nervous when I was coming on.
“Four or five years ago I was in Africa, watching players on the TV – and today I was out there playing against some of them. So, I was very excited about that.
“I’ve had a pretty unusual time. It’s true that I had to go through a long journey, that was a bit tough, in order to get here, but since I have been here [in Italy] my life has changed.”

    OBLAK ONUS
Jan Oblak would be keen on a move to a top English side this summer, according to reports.
ESPN claim the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper’s camp want to draw interest from the Premier League after seven years in Spain.
But the LaLiga club hold a £104million release clause on the star shot-stopper.
Manchester United have previously been linked to Oblak.
    PUSH & PAUL
Paul Pogba is yet to discuss a new Manchester United contract, it has been reported.
The Frenchman’s deal expires at the end of next season after the Red Devils enacted an optional 12-month extension to the deal he signed in 2016.
And, according to Sky Sports, United have not opened talks over a renewal with Pogba focused on a successful end to the season.

    HARG TO ARGUE
Owen Hargreaves has urged Manchester United to focus their attentions elsewhere amid their push for Erling Haaland.
Both the Norwegian and Harry Kane are said to be interesting the Red Devils for a mega-money move.
But former star Hargreaves reckons a new deal for Edinson Cavani plus two other signings are better value for money.
He told BT: “Get [Cavani] to sign a new deal, there’s no transfer fee then – obviously there are big wages – but then I think you can spend elsewhere.
“I think they need a right-winger, whether that’s Jadon Sancho or Raphinha from Leeds or somebody like that.
“Declan Rice for the base of midfield to get the best out of Pogba and Fernandes, I’d love to see that and another centre-back. You could spend that Haaland or Kane money on three players.”
    SIGN HIM UP
Edinson Cavani showed exactly why Manchester United want to keep him for another season last night, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said.
The Uruguayan’s stunning performance in the semi-final versus Roma left the manager thrilled.
He said afterwards: “It was always going to be an open game because they had to score goals and that was going to make it a chance for us to create chances.
“I think both teams could have scored five more, so it could have been 6-6, 7-6, it could have been a different scoreline.
“But for me now the main thing is we’re in a final, we know we have to play better than this but we’re here because we’ve had a centre forward who has scored four goals during the tie, during the two legs.
“Edinson’s shown again why we want to keep him at Old Trafford.”

    WAR GAMES
Sky Sports have revealed there could be ‘war’ between Erling Haaland’s representatives and Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The German club reportedly want £150million for the striker, regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League.
But agent Mino Raiola has already talked openly about a move and Dortmund finishing outside the top-four in Bundesliga could heighten that push.

    TOP MARCS
Marcelo Bielsa has praised the ‘competitiveness’ of English football as the reason behind three of this year’s four European finalists being from the Premier League.
The Leeds boss said: “The refereeing in England can be better or worse, but they always try to ensure the rules favour the game.
“This helps the structure. It can’t be better – considering, for example, the pitches and to not even talk about the influence of the fans who don’t just prize the victory.
“Its financial power is not the determining factor.
“The greatness in the English game is in the competitiveness of the leagues and the assimilation of the natural results.”
    MEMORY LANE
Here is some of the best social media reaction from Manchester United’s stars as they looked forward to another Europa League final.

    TOR-N BETWEEN?
Pau Torres has revealed his emotions at facing Manchester United in the Europa League final.
The Villarreal defender has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford.
He said after beating Arsenal 2-1 on aggregate: “We will face a great team that will surely make things very difficult for us.
“We didn’t want both European finals to be entirely English. It is fantastic that Villarreal will represent Spanish football in a European final.”

Edinson Cavani is in the form of his Manchester United career right now.
Has a player ever dominated a two-legged European tie like this?

    GOOD MORNING RED DEVILS FANS
Man United booked their place in the Europa League final despite losing 3-2 in Rome.
Edinson Cavani scored twice in a thriller against the Italians, who gave the Red Devils a hard-fought game.
But United held out to ensure their first-leg thrashing helped them set up a final clash against Villarreal, who knocked out Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Mason Greenwood became the youngest Englishman to reach 100 games for United and the third youngest overall aged just 19 years and 217 days.
Greenwood is now ahead of club legends Ryan Giggs and Duncan Edwards in the top five list of players to hit 100 games.
But he is behind Norman Whiteside who reached the milestone before his 19th birthday.
And United icon George Best is also ahead of Greenwood, having reached the figure in 49 days fewer.
Finally, Lazio are considering a move for United star Juan Mata, according to reports.
The Spaniard is set to be out of contract this summer, having become a bit-part player at Old Trafford.
Having turned 33 last month, the attacking midfielder is seeking his next opportunity – and the security of a multi-year deal.
According to Il Tempo, Lazio could offer Mata a two-year contract – with the option of a third season on top.

“We had a good result at half time but gave them too many chances in the second half.
“We obviously don’t want to lose any match, we came tonight wanting to win.
“Thankfully we put ourselves in a great position in the first half.

Man Utd star David De Gea ‘wanted by old boss Jose Mourinho in Roma transfer’ with Dean Henderson taking up No1 spot

NEW Roma boss Jose Mourinho is eyeing up a move for Manchester United keeper David De Gea, according to reports. The Portuguese manager was announced as the Italian club’s successor to Paulo Fonseca earlier this week, just two weeks after he was sacked by Tottenham.
Mourinho coached De Gea for some of the best years of the keeper’s careerCredit: –
And according to Todofichajes one of the first transfers he wants to make as Roma manager is the acquisition of 30-year-old De Gea.
De Gea has recently been out of favour at Old Trafford following the promotion of Dean Henderson to the No1 spot.
The Spaniard missed several games after flying to Spain to be present for the birth of his child.
But upon his return he has struggled to regain his place, with Henderson starting all of the Red Devils’ last seven Premier League games.
De Gea signed for Man Utd from Atletico Madrid way back in 2011 for a fee of £18.9million.
Since then, the Spanish shot-stopper has played 438 times for the club, winning their Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award a record four times.
During his time at Old Trafford he has won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
But a consistent run of games on the sidelines has led many to question where his future lies.

When asked about who will be his long-term No1 last month, Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to give a straight answer.
He said: “It’s difficult to leave one of them out. It’s easy to give the nod they’ll play, it’s difficult to leave one out.
“Where there can be potential tension and controversy, everyone wants to hear a comment from me.
“They are both top goalkeepers and both of them want to play as much as possible.
“But who we pick will be decided on merit and we have to think of who’s going give us a win on any given day.
“Both will be needed in these final nine league games and five in the Europa League because we want to go all the way in that.”
De Gea started Man Utd’s Europa League semi-final second leg against Roma on Thursday evening, a game they lost 3-2 but still advanced through to the final 8-5 on aggregate.

    YOU BRUTY
Bruno Fernandes said winning the Europa League can help Manchester United challenge for major honours next season.
The midfielder told the club’s media: “It’s really important. A signal of the improvement of the team and it’s a sign we are growing up as a team.
“So keep our heads focused on what we have to do and what we have to achieve at this end of the season. When we come for the next one, we have time to think what we can do and what we can improve, still improve.
“We have many games to go and the team has to end the season well. We have big games to come and I think the team is focused to do the best we can to end the season in the best way.”
    READY TO RUMBLE
Bruno Fernandes says it doesn’t matter who plays for Manchester United against Roma tonight – everyone is ready to get the job done.
Fernandes bagged a double in the Europa League semi-final first leg last week to help United win 6-2 and take a big advantage into the return fixture in the Italian capital.
The Portuguese told the club’s website: “I think we have to approach the game well.
“We know the qualities they have and what they caused us in the first half so we have to go there, not giving them any hope or chance to believe that they can change the result.
“I think we have great players but, anyway, it doesn’t matter who plays. We have qualities and everyone can do something for the team, everyone can score, everyone, if they have a chance, can do really well.
“It doesn’t matter who plays, everyone will be ready.”
    BRUACELL BUNNY
Bruno Fernandes has claimed he will never be too tired to play ahead of Manchester United’s Europa League semi-final second leg against Roma.
The Portuguese maestro – who has played 52 games already this season – said: “For me, the most important [thing] is playing.
“When the coach wants me, it’s important to know I’m ready to play every game, every minute.
“I will never say I’m [too] tired to play because this is my dream. I will never be tired to play.
“When I was a kid, I played maybe seven or eight hours a day. So, to play 90 minutes every three days or two days is not enough for me.”

    REBEL HELL
Uefa chiefs are threatening two-year European bans for the four Super league rebels who have still not pulled out of the project.
England’s Big Six were the first to withdraw, with Champions League finalists Chelsea and Manchester City quickest out of the blocks once they realised the breakaway was dead in the water.
But Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan have still to formally break free of the Super League project.
And that has left Uefa on the verge of imposing serious sanctions UNLESS the quartet fold in the next few weeks.
The Prem sides, along with Atletico Madrid and Inter, are expected to accept fines for their parts in the rebellion.
Uefa head Aleksander Ceferin IS likely to push for softer punishments on the English teams after their rapid U-turns and acceptance of error.
    CARN HAVE HIM
Aston Villa are reportedly set to lose highly-rated youngster Carney Chukwuemeka this summer with Bayern Munich chasing the starlet.
Rumours over the 17-year-old’s future have circulated for some time and Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked.
Manchester City, Monaco, PSV Eindhoven, Juventus and RB Leipzig are also said to be keen as the midfielder looks to break into the senior game.
According to Football Insider, Bayern are leading the race having enjoyed past success in snapping up English football talent.
Jamal Musiala joined from Chelsea before breaking out in recent months while Omar Richards is set to sign from Reading.
Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho have also enjoyed great success in trading England for Germany, both with Borussia Dortmund.
England youth international Chukwuemeka has made two Premier League benches but is yet to earn a senior debut.
    MARTIAL LAW
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hinted Anthony Martial might not be KO’d for the rest of the season with injury as was previously thought.
The Norwegian told the club’s website: “He [Anthony] is looking good. He’s just about started outside jogging which is the first step on the rehab of course.
“He’s done most of his work in the gym and to see him out getting some fresh air is good.
“And then hopefully we will see him. He’s supporting the team, he wants to be part of a final and he’s working hard to be available even before then.”

    CRUISE CONTROL?
Manchester United are 90 minutes away from the Europa League final and they have a four-goal advantage against Roma going into the second leg.

    TOP DOGS
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed his side are ‘ready’ to finally break their semi-final hoodoo against Roma in the Europa League second leg tonight.
The Red Devils have lost four semi-finals in a row under the Norwegian, including to Sevilla in last year’s competition.
Solskjaer told the club’s website: “Of course. It’s been well-documented that this is the fifth time we’re at this stage in the last 15 months.
“The boys are ready, they’re motivated and we’ve given ourselves a good starting point, but we have to go there and play a good game again.”
    TIME TO FOCUS
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said his side must keep their eyes on the prize despite taking a four-goal advantage into tonight’s Europa League semi-final second leg away at Roma.
The Norwegian boss told the club’s website: “That’s our job to do so and that’s what we’re trying to do.
Of course, we spent days to prepare for the Liverpool game, we were ready for it and we’ll have to do that again at some point.
“But, unfortunately, the game didn’t go ahead. The players really wanted to play and we felt ready for it.
“Now all our focus is on this game and we’ve given ourselves a very good foundation with a good result from the first leg. But we go to this one wanting to win this one.”
    SOL RESPONSIBILITY
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ‘unhappy’ with Gary Neville’s role in promoting anti-Glazer sentiment among Manchester United fans, according to reports.
The influential Sky Sports pundit has repeatedly slated the Glazers since their controversial decision to try and breakaway as part of the botched European Super League.
And those behind the scenes believe that Neville, 46, is playing a part in fuelling fan unrest which led to Sunday’s mass protest and match postponement at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer, 48, and his staff were against the Super League.
But, according to the Mail, they believe that Neville is taking things too far.
And they want the passionate Man United legend to ‘tone down his rhetoric’, in order to prevent further fan protests.

    HARV TO SAY NO
Phil Neville has signed another English player for Inter Miami – his son.
Harvey Neville, 18, has been in the Manchester United youth system since turning 16 in 2018.
Previously on the books at Manchester City and then Valencia before heading to United, he signed his first professional contract last summer.
But he wants some guaranteed first-team football and is swapping Old Trafford for South Florida.
Full-back Harvey has been training with his dad’s new team recently after getting some time off and has decided to make the switch permanently.
He will initially join Inter Miami’s sister team Fort Lauderdale CF once he sorts his visa.

    MATA OF TIME
Lazio are considering a move for Manchester United star Juan Mata, according to reports.
Boss Simone Inzaghi would like to sign the experienced star, having missed out on one of his compatriots last season.
Lazio appeared all set to sign David Silva 12 months ago, upon the expiry of his contract at Manchester City.
But the City legend performed a last minute U-turn, instead joining Real Sociedad.

    GOOD MORNING RED DEVILS FANS
SunSport can exclusively reveal Man United are braced for bids for Diogo Dalot this summer – with loan side AC Milan keen on a permanent deal.
We understand the Rossoneri will attempt to land him when the transfer window opens for around £15million.
The Portuguese defender is set to explore his options this summer after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
He can play on both at both left and right-back, but the £40,000-a-week man is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s current plans.
SunSport can also reveal the Glazers are ready to sanction a £90m Manchester United bid for Harry Kane as they desperately attempt to quash fan fury.
Sunday’s protests hit home in Florida, where the controversial owners are based — and they are keen to dampen the anger.
Though there is little interest in selling up, the need to win back favour is obvious.
One option being considered is an attempt to sign the world-class striker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants.
Spurs ace Kane is top of their list and SunSport understands he would be interested in an Old Trafford move.
Finally, Man Utd received a police escort to the airport as they flew out to Italy for their Europa League semi-final second leg against Roma.
The Red Devils were afforded the extra safety measures just days after fans stormed Old Trafford causing Sunday’s Premier League match against Liverpool to be postponed.
United face Roma in the Italian capital today with a hefty four-goal advantage following the 6-2 thrashing at Old Trafford last week.
    BENZ AND GONE
Sir Alex Ferguson was so desperate to sign Karim Benzema he had to be pulled away from him, according to Rio Ferdinand.
He said on BT Sport: “The first time I played against him, Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign him.
“He was speaking to him in the tunnel after the game and Lyon officials had to pull him away. His movement that day was brilliant.”

    MEN UNITED
Bruno Fernandes has urged Man Utd to keep hold of Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba this summer.
He said: “Quality players always bring quality to the team. Of course we all know what Paul and Edi can do for the team, we know the quality they have.
“People can have doubts about them sometimes but we as a team never had.
“They are really important for us. The qualities they have, it is difficult to find on the market for a good price.
“I think everyone knows the team is growing up and with their help too. It’s important for us we keep our best players and keep improving as a team.”
Bruno Fernandes hopes Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba stay at Man Utd
    CASH WOE
Europe’s leading clubs lost £50m in Champions League prize money as a result of LAST season’s Covid crisis.
But they still bagged lots more than their Europa League competitors.
£9.74m was stripped from the FOUR English clubs in the Champions League.
Despite handing back £2.85m, Manchester City still made £81.73m from their run to the last eight, a sum only exceeded by PSG, who topped the list with £109.4m, winners Bayern Munich (£108.24) and Barcelona (£86.48m).
Liverpool grossed £73.33m, including their Super Cup victory bonus, Chelsea £71.6m and Spurs £55.66m.
By contrast, Manchester United earned just £26.36m from their Europa League run, with Wolves taking £19.62m and Arsenal, eliminated in the last 16, £16.08m.

Man City are set for a 4,000 ticket allocation for the Champions League Final – after UEFA confirmed it will go ahead in Istanbul despite Turkey’s covid crisis.
Authorities in Ankara have confirmed to Uefa they are happy to host Manchester City and Chelsea or Real Madrid at the Ataturk on the last Saturday of May.
Uefa have already confirmed a crowd of 9,500, including 2,000 tickets to each club, for the Europa League Final in Gdansk on May 26.

    REDS RETURN CONFIRMED
Man United’s postponed clash with Liverpool will be played next Thursday.
And it means United having to play twice in barely 48 hours, three times in five days and four matches in nine days.
It had been thought that Liverpool’s trip to West Brom would be brought forward to allow the Old Trafford clash of the north west giants to go back to its initial Sunday afternoon slot on May 16.
Instead, United’s game with Leicester has been shunted forward 24 hours to Tuesday May 11 with a 6pm kick-off, and the Liverpool match will start at 8.15pm on May 13.
United will feel frustrated at the inconvenience and the rescheduling is a boost for Liverpool and their top four hunt.
Although Prem chiefs will argue that the Old Trafford club alone were responsible for the late call-off last Sunday.

Ronaldo hit both goals in the late comeback win over Udinese on Sunday, keeping them inside the top-four ahead of a huge showdown with AC Milan.
Sport Mediaset, via CalcioMercato, have claimed that he is intent on seeing out the final year of his Juventus contract.
The winger’s deal expires in 2022 and a huge bidding war could begin if he does signal his intention to move as a free agent.
It is also said that United are not able to afford a deal this summer.
Ronaldo earns around £540,000-a-week in Italy which is almost 50 per cent higher than the Red Devils’ current best-paid player, David De Gea.
And Juventus would likely demand a chunky transfer fee if he tried to force a move.
    SOLSKJAER WARRY OF ROMA
Despite having a 6-2 lead, Solskjaer remains concerned about Roma ahead of tomorrow night’s game.
The United manager said: “We’re not going to play on the result, we’re going to play to win that game.
“That’s the only way I think we can play this game. Of course there might be one or two changes in the selection, but we have to get into the final.
“Everyone says it’s done but I’ve seen bigger upsets than this. Roma beat Barcelona in a second leg after being 4-1 down.”
    OLE PRAISES FITNESS STAFF
Solskjaer went on to praise the work of his fitness staff, with United playing more than 50 games already this season.
He said: “We’ve got a great fitness staff. It’s been a process since we came in. We brought in some young staff when I came.
“We brought in some robustness. A winning Man United team has players that can play 40, 50 games per season at a high standard.
“That is lifestyle, it’s training. It’s about when you’re not playing, to get complete match fitness.”
    OLE BREAKS SILENCE
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken out for the first time since Sunday’s protest at Old Trafford.
Speaking at today’s press conference, the United boss said: “It was a difficult day for us. Of course, we wanted to play, to beat Liverpool for the fans.
“Our job is getting good results on the pitch.
“But as I said before the game, we have to listen, to hear the fans’ voice.
“It’s everyone’s right to protest but it has to be in a civilised manner. But unfortunately when you break in, when police officers are scarred for life, that’s a step too far.
“Then it’s a police matter, it’s not about showing your opinions anymore.”
    GOOD AFTERNOON MAN UNITED FANS
It’s been a busy few days for United fans.
Sunday’s protest at Old Trafford has mounted pressure on the Glazers, with Avram refusing to apologise to fans after being confronted by a Sky journalist.
More protests are expected to be held during the coming weeks, raising doubts about United’s remaining home games against Leicester, Fulham and, of course, the rearranged game against Liverpool.
United fans have also announced their plans to boycott companies who sponsor the club.
New Sponsor TeamViewer have been bombarded with negative reviews in protest, leaving them with a one-star rating on website TrustPilot.
Fans have also shared an open letter regarding the boycott with Chevrolet, Adidas, DHL and Marriott Hotels, among others.
Despite the campaign, the Glazers are set to ignore the recent protests at Old Trafford and increase United’s value to $10bn (£7bn).
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is due to give his thoughts in a press conference today at 1pm.
Elsewhere, Jadon Sancho’s rumoured valuation of £85million is still more than United anticipated, according to reports.
But it is believed the Red Devils will still make a move this summer. The Glazers are also ready to sanction a £90million Manchester United bid for Harry Kane as they desperately attempt to quash fan fury.
And the official trailer for the new movie about ex-United boss Alex Ferguson – Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In – has been released.

The Red Devils are still keen on the Manchester City youth product but Eurosport reports the new figure is still higher than they are hoping to pay in the upcoming window.
United had been prepared to pay in the region of £85m last year but they are now set to re-open negotiations to haggle down Dortmund after they came in at a more realistic starting point.
The report states United are more optimistic they can land their man with the belief that Sancho wants to leave this summer.
They will face competition from Chelsea who entered the race to sign the Three Lions star.
German outlet Bild reports Thomas Tuchel is plotting a raid on his former. club.
And it is claimed Sancho – whose contract expires in 2023 – could even go for as little as £78m.
Last week Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc revealed there is a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ in place that would allow Sancho to quit the Bundesliga this summer.
The club exec confirmed there was no such deal in place for highly sought-after Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.

Zorc told German portal ARD: “We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can move under certain conditions.
“However, this agreement doesn’t exist with Erling.”
Dortmund could be forced to cash in if they miss out on the riches of qualifying for the Champions League.
BVB are fifth in the Bundesliga one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt who occupy the crucial fourth spot with three games left.
Sancho has had another impressive campaign in the famous yellow shirt, despite spending a portion of it sidelined by injury.
He has bagged 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 games for Dortmund so far this season.
