The winger, 21, has agreed terms in principle over a £73million move to United from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Yet the Europa League finalists have already ramped up negotiations for France pair Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.
And ex-United player Ince revealed it is about time his old club got their palyer recruitment right.
He told Paddy Power: “United still need three or four more quality signings to be title contenders.
“It’s great that Edinson Cavani’s signed for another year, but he won’t play every game at his age, even if he wants to – they need a centre forward.
They need another centre back and a world-class central midfielder, and they must be top playersPaul Ince on Manchester United
“They need another centre back and a world-class central midfielder, and they must be top players.
“United’s recruitment in recent years has been poor. They spent £40million on Donny van de Beek, who’s hardly played, it doesn’t make sense.
“It’s about time United got their player recruitment right. They want attacking football and signing Sancho is the excitement going forward that they’ve been longing for.”
While Ince did call for more signings at United this summer, the 53-year-old did hail Sancho’s arrival as a huge step in the right direction.

He added: “Sancho is heading to Manchester United, and fans should be excited. United have been coveting Sancho for a while. Look at his goals and displays for Borussia Dortmund these last two years!
“The fans know they’ve got an exciting player, a natural winger. He’s like Andrei Kanchelskis, a player who wants to get the ball and beat someone.
“Sancho likes to drift inside, as we have seen for England, and he’s extremely comfortable on the ball whilst scoring goals. He’s a superb acquisition.”

Juventus had long been linked with another swoop for the 2018 World Cup winner, particularly with Massimiliano Allegri back in the hot seat.
Allegri and Pogba won two successive Serie A titles together before the midfielder returned to United in an £89million move in 2016.

But new Tottenham managing director Paratici has revealed there was never a moment when the 28-year-old was close to joining Juve again.
He told Sky Sports: “Paul Pogba back to Juventus? I think it is very difficult.
“There has never been a moment in which we have been close to taking him back.”
The news will come as a massive boost to United – who were considering making Pogba the highest-paid player in the Premier League.
SunSport recently revealed that the Red Devils are willing to offer him a staggering £400,000 a week over the next five years.
Pogba’s new pay packet would eclipse the £375k a week which United team-mate David de Gea earns.

Yet should the French ace refuse to agree new terms then the club may be forced to cash in on him next summer rather than risk losing him for free.
It was previously reported that Paris Saint-Germain have made contact with Pogba’s representatives over a potential blockbuster move.
The Europa League finalist was also mentioned in a swap deal with Real Madrid that would see compatriot Raphael Varane head the other way.

Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool have all been linked with the French midfielder.
And Get French Football News claim he hasn’t been seen for days despite Lyon saying he is not sick.
The report adds that Aouar is unhappy that Memphis Depay left on a free to join Barcelona.
He has been at the club since 2009 and risen through the ranks to the first team.
Aouar was named in the Champions League squad of the season in 2019-20 and made his international debut last October.
He is under contract at Ligue 1 side Lyon for two more years.
But Lyon’s failure to qualify for the Champions League means they could lose him on the cheap having demanded £55million for his services.
SunSport understands that Arsenal are readying a contract worth £100k-a-week to lure the midfielder to the Emirates at the second time of asking.

Man Utd line up Jules Kounde as Raphael Varane transfer alternative but Sevilla demand £60m for defender

MANCHESTER UNITED will try and sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde if they can’t get Raphael Varane, according to reports. The 22-year-old is believed to have been identified as an alternative to the Real Madrid star – but his £60million price tag could be a stumbling block.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Sevilla will let Kounde leave the club to raise some much-needed transfer funds.
The LaLiga side are said to want €70m for the France international – around £60m – but have received no bids close to that amount.
Manchester City are believed to have made a £55m bid for Kounde in September 2020 before signing Ruben Dias from Benfica.
It proved to be a wise move from Pep Guardiola’s side as Dias helped them win the Premier League, receiving the FWA, Prem and City Player of the Year awards.
Real Madrid are rumoured to be one of the clubs interested in signing Kounde – but that move hinges on Varane’s future.
The 28-year-old reportedly wants to leave the Bernabeu this summer and the Spanish giants may accept a bid as low as £40m.
Varane’s current deal expires next summer and it is believed Real would prefer to sell him and generate funds to sign Kounde.
United are the favourites to buy the four-time Champions League winner and he’s rumoured to have ‘given his word’ to joining the club.

But if a move for Varane was to collapse, United would reportedly turn their attention to signing Kounde.
Kounde has been linked with several clubs during the last few months, including Chelsea and Tottenham.
The centre-back helped Sevilla win the Europa League final in August 2020 and made 34 LaLiga appearances last term.
He was also part of France’s squad for Euro 2020, making his debut against Wales in June.
The Red Devils have already agreed one of the biggest transfers of the summer – luring Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford.
United are also rumoured to be offering England defender Luke Shaw a new contract soon following his excellent form at Euro 2020.

PSG ‘in transfer discussions with agents of Paul Pogba’ with French star reportedly open to Man Utd exit

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have made contact with Paul Pogba’s representatives over a potential blockbuster summer move, according to reports. The French giants have been encouraged by talk coming out of the player’s camp that the midfielder is keen to make the move.

Pogba’s future at Manchester United is under scrutiny yet again with just a year left on his contract at Old Trafford.
And with no apparent plans to pen a new deal, PSG are growing increasingly confident of sealing a move this summer.
According to French publication RMC, the 28-year-old is ‘more than open’ to the idea of leaving United for the French capital.
United could be forced to cash in on his signature this summer or risk losing him for nothing in 12 month’s time.
That would be a last resort for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side who forked out £89million to bring him back to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016.
Pogba was linked with a move away from United last summer but a £150million price-tag put off potential suitors.
Now his value is likely to have dropped to only around a third of that.
United are open to raising cash to bolster their own squad having already forked out £73m to sign Jadon Sancho.

Solskjaer is also eager to open the cheque book to land defender Raphael Varane and wonderkid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
PSG are enjoying a huge spending spree of their own.
They have already struck a deal to sign Sergio Ramos on a two-year contract on a free transfer as he follows Gianluigi Donnarumma to Paris.
PSG have also forked out just shy of £60m to land right-back Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan.

How Brighton could line up next season with Dan James and Joe Rodon but no Ben White after transfer spree

BRIGHTON are in danger of losing defender Ben White, with several Premier League giants reportedly after the England star. But manager Graham Potter is believed to be interested in reinvesting some of White’s transfer fee on two of his former players.

The ex-Swansea boss is rumoured to be interested in working with Manchester United winger Dan James again.
The 23-year-old played 33 Championship games under Potter during the 2018-19 season before moving to the Red Devils for a reported £15million.
James featured just 15 times in the Premier League for United last term and could be persuaded by the promise of regular top-flight football.
Rodon was also a regular under Potter at Swansea during the 2018-19 campaign, playing 27 Championship games at centre-back.
The 23-year-old went on to join Spurs last October but, like James, struggled to get on the pitch, making just 14 appearances in all competitions.
Rodon could replace White in Brighton’s defence as he’s been rumoured to be on the verge of leaving the south coast.

Arsenal are the favourites to sign the England international but Chelsea are reportedly planning on making a last-minute offer for the player.
Rodon would likely partner captain Lewis Dunk at their heart of Brighton’s defence with full-backs Tariq Lamptey and Dan Burn playing either side.
Potter could continue with a 4-3-3 formation, deploying Adam Lallana, Yves Bissouma and another potential signing – Enock Mwepu – in midfield.
Brighton are interested in buying the 23-year-old Zambia international from Red Bull Salzburg, according to The Athletic.
Mwepu made 29 league appearances last term as Salzburg won their eighth consecutive Austrian title.

The English coach will be hoping not to lose star midfielder Bissouma, who’s been linked with a move to several Prem clubs this summer.
If James does swap Manchester for the seaside, he could play on the right of a front three alongside Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck.
Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is likely to remain Potter’s No1 between the sticks having been included in Spain’s squad for Euro 2020.
The 23-year-old stopper has enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent months, spending the 2019-20 season on loan at then League One side Rochdale.

How Man Utd could line up with Camavinga, Sancho and Varane as Old Trafford transfer spending spree hits top gear

MANCHESTER UNITED could have a new-look starting XI next season with £125million of new talent.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side finished second in the Premier League last term and lost the Europa League final on penalties.
This is how Manchester United may line up next season with three new signings
Eduardo Camavinga and Paul Pogba could form a new midfield pairing at Old TraffordCredit: AFP
But the Red Devils are already bolstering their squad in the transfer market.
A £73m deal to sign Jadon Sancho has been agreed with Borussia Dortmund.
He will complete a medical and sign his £350,000-a-week, five-year contract after England’s Euro 2020 involvement ends.
United have been chasing a winger for the last few transfer windows and look set to add their No1 target straight into the starting XI.
That is likely to see Sancho, 21, deployed on the wide right – often Mason Greenwood’s spot – with Marcus Rashford on the opposite flank.
Bruno Fernandes should complete the attacking trio as the No10 in support of Edinson Cavani up top – although Solskjaer also has the likes of Anthony Martial and Dan James to call upon as well as a group of youngsters led by Amad Diallo.
United are also chasing Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes.
Reports suggest the two clubs are in negotiations with the 18-year-old sensation available for just £26m due to his contract expiring next summer.

Should United beat off Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid to the teenager’s signature this summer, Camavinga may well line up with Paul Pogba as a midfield pair.
That would see Scott McTominay, Fred and Nemanja Matic fighting for spots on the bench.
And Raphael Varane could join his international team-mate Camavinga at Old Trafford next season.
Like the teenager, Varane’s contract expires next year and United are keen to pounce for £50m with initial talks already underway.
Varane, 28, would be the long-term solution to partner Harry Maguire in the centre of defence between Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw with Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe failing to convince.
Goalkeepers David De Gea and Dean Henderson look on course to battle it out between the sticks once again.
