Ghanaian starlet Mizak Asante is reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United and City
Asante scored a stunning solo goal on Sunday for Golden Kick SC against Mobile Phone People
Coming off the bench, Asante fired home a late equaliser to make it 1-1 after bamboozling four defenders, before rounding the goalkeeper and smashing the ball into the roof of the net.
He was then mobbed by his jubiliant team-mates following the sensational goal, with fans believing it should be a contender to win the 2021 Fifa Puskas Award.
His strike sent the game to penalties, which Golden Kick won to send them into the Division One League – the second-tier of Ghanaian football.
And the club’s chairman Joseph Epton has now revealed how the Red Devils and the Citizens have held interest in the forward prior to his emphatic goal.
He even stated that Serie A giants Juventus and Belgian side Genk are also keeping tabs on the exciting youngster after being sent videos of him in action.
Speaking to Accra radio station Onua FM via Ghana Soccer Net, he said: “Before Mizak scored this goal we had already showed his highlights – and those of other players – to clubs abroad.
Asante is said also be on the radar of Italian side Juventus and Belgian outfit Genk

“I like how direct he is with the ball and his pace as well.

Man Utd and Chelsea monitoring Franck Kessie transfer situation with AC Milan midfielder ‘wanting Prem switch’

MANCHESTER UNITED are one of several Premier League teams keeping an eye on AC Milan star Franck Kessie, according to reports.Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton are all said to be in the mix for the Ivorian following his strong form for the Italian club.
Franck Kessie is being tracked by multiple Premier League teamsCredit: AFP
Kessie, 24, is out of contract at the end of the season, his fifth at the San Siro.
English clubs will therefore be able to negotiate a pre-agreement for a summer free transfer as soon as January.
As reported by 90min, United and many Prem rivals have asked Kessie’s agent to be kept in the loop if the player decides to hear out offers.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also named in the report but the midfielder is said to prefer a move to England, which is seen as a better fit for his playing style.
But Milan still have a couple of months to persuade him to stay.
Talks over a new contract are said to be at a standstill following Kessie’s rejection of a new deal.

Reports in Italy detail Milan’s proposal to more than double his current £35,000 weekly wage to over £80,000-a-week.
That would then rise to £105,000-a-week in the final two years of the proposed five-year contract, according to Tuttosport.
However, Kessie is said to be seeking as much as £115,000-a-week as a starting salary, following his role in Milan’s resurgence over the past year.
A decision will reportedly be made by the former Atalanta star in January over whether he will stick with the Rossoneri or head for pastures new.
Should he choose to move on, Milan are described by Corriere dello Sport as increasingly confident that the emerging Sandro Tonali will step up as the key man in their midfield.

Man Utd ‘to turn transfer attention to Leeds star Kalvin Phillips in shock move if Declan Rice deal doesn’t come off’

MANCHESTER UNITED are set to turn their transfer attention to Kalvin Phillips if they fail to land Declan Rice, according to shock reports. The Red Devils want to bring in a new defensive midfielder next summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels the need to bolster that area with Scott McTominay, Fred and Nemanja Matic his current options.
And according to the Daily Star, the Norwegian has identified Phillips as a primary target.
United chased Rice for a couple of transfer windows but no deal was ever agreed – especially with West Ham demanding around £100m for their academy graduate.
So now they are looking at his England midfield partner.
Phillips, 25, is already securing legendary status in Leeds.
He was born in the city, came through the youth ranks and played 218 times for the Whites – helping them back into the Premier League and then establishing themselves under Marcelo Bielsa last season.

Gareth Southgate rates the energetic Phillips highly and trusted him to play a key role in England’s run to the Euro 2020 final this summer.
The Yorkshire Pirlo was named England Men’s Player of the Year for last season.
But United may have their work cut out trying to lure him from Elland Road to Old Trafford.

As well as being arch-rivals, United would likely need to stump up at least £60m for Phillips, who is under contract until 2024.
However, question marks over Bielsa’s future and the chance to challenge for silverware regularly could see the Phillips move on, with Manchester City also keen.
And United have a track record of snatching Leeds’ top talent with Eric Cantona, Alan Smith and Rio Ferdinand all making the switch.

Barcelona to launch crazy Cavani loan bid in January with Man Utd star said to be unsettled by Ronaldo

BARCELONA are rumoured to be keen on an Edinson Cavani loan swoop to strengthen their frontline following a tricky start to their season. And the Daily Star claims the Uruguay international has become unsettled at Man United following the return of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a loan move for Edinson Cavani
The Nou Camp giants, who parted company with Lionel Messi this summer, have notched a couple of disappointing results in this term.
These include points dropped against Granada and Cadiz and a 3-0 home loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
And reports claim Ronald Koeman’s position as club boss has been called into question with Belgium gaffer Roberto Martinez among those reportedly being eyed as a replacement.
Despite their financial concerns, the Express claims Barca chiefs are making plans for January transfers with Cavani said to be among their top targets.
It is thought Cavani, 34, had agreed to extend his contract with United the understanding he is still regarded as a key member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.

The forward joined the Red Devils on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in October 2020 following a seven-year spell with the club with whom he won six Ligue One titles and seven French Super Cups.
However, the player has made just two appearances as a substitute for the Red Devils this season following the club’s acquisition of Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
This includes coming on in the eighth minute of United’s surprise 1-0 home loss to Aston Villa last time out.
Cavani netted 10 goals in 26 Prem appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side last term helping them to finish second in the league.

The Star claims Barcelona will up the ante in their quest to bring the Uruguayan to LaLiga.
Reports suggest the club had hoped to sign him last summer prior to him agreeing to a new contract with the Red Devils
It is now thought Barca are keen on a short-term deal with the former Napoli and PSG striker.

Timo Werner ‘wanted to join Man Utd’ over Chelsea or Liverpool before his £48m Stamford Bridge transfer

TIMO WERNER wanted to join Manchester United over Chelsea and Liverpool before his £53million move to Stamford Bridge last summer. That is according to evidence in a German court case between Werner’s agent Karl-Heinz Forster and his former associate Murat Lokurlu.

A ‘million-dollar- dispute is ongoing between the two men, as reported by Bild.
The case is set to be heard on Tuesday but documents revealed ahead of the hearing suggest Werner’s preferred destination was Old Trafford before he left RB Leipzig.
In WhatsApp messages from 2019, Werner reportedly told Lokurlu United were his ‘favourites’ with Chelsea named as ‘great alternatives’.
United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to have been in for Werner in 2019.
The Red Devils are said to have sent a proposal to Lokurlu via WhatsApp to which he replied: “We’ll see.”
Liverpool also reportedly submitted a concrete offer with a ‘secret meeting’ said to have taken place between Werner and the Reds.

A five-year deal on around £200,000-a-week with approximately £20m in bonuses was reportedly put on the table.
However, Liverpool eventually signed Diogo Jota, and Chelsea swooped last June.
The Blues paid £53m and pay him an eye-watering £270k-a-week.
Chelsea paid through the nose for Timo Werner
But he has failed to provide value for money so far with just 13 goals in 59 matches for the West Londoners.
His game time looked like it would be limited this season with Romelu Lukaku hitting the ground running after his £97.5m switch from Inter Milan.
The Belgian has four in seven and has already cemented himself as No 1 striker, but Werner could now form a surprise two-man attack with him after starting alongside Lukaku in Saturday’s defeat to Manchester City.

Man Utd ‘make contact with Barcelona over Ousmane Dembele transfer as Solskjaer looks to add for Prem title push’

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly opened talks over a transfer swoop for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele. The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impact at the Nou Camp since his big-money arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 due to injuries.

But last season he did manage to find some form, and with 13 goals in 48 games, convinced the club to offer him a new contract.
His current arrangement ends at the end of the campaign and he will be free to leave for nothing – although his team did meet Barca officials before the recent clash with Granada to begin talks over an extension.
Spanish outlet El Nacional reports that contact has already been made by United with France international forward.
The Red Devils have allegedly informed Dembele’s representatives of their desire to bring him to Old Trafford on a freebie in June.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have Cristiano Ronaldo back in his ranks but the midweek defeat to West Ham highlighted his lack of firepower elsewhere.
United, who rested the Portuguese legend, were dumped out of the Carabao Cup thanks to a 1-0 home loss.

Anthony Martial failed to take his opportunity and he could be one of those sold to make room for Dembele within the attacking ranks.
United are believed to be demanding around £40m for the French ace.

Edinson Cavani also looks set to leave at the end of season and return to South America once his deal expires.

Anthony Martial’s body language is ‘HORRIBLE to watch’ and striker ‘has not done enough at Man Utd’, slams Dion Dublin

ANTHONY MARTIAL’S body language at Manchester United is ‘horrible’, according to Dion Dublin. And the Frenchman has apparently ‘not done enough’ to justify a spot as the Red Devils’ No 9.

Martial put in another abject performance as United lost 1-0 at home to West Ham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old is now 14 games without a goal – having not scored since February.
And Dublin – who played for United between 1992-94 – says Martial doesn’t want to put in the required work to be the club’s main striker.
Speaking after the Hammers’ first win at Old Trafford since 2007, Dublin told BBC 5 Live: “We need to see more from Martial, we have said it many times before but he is not helping his cause.
“I want to see him sweating and putting the ball in the back of the net.
“He has not done enough since being at United, you see flashes and think it is the start then he doesn’t do anything.

“His body language is horrible to watch, he doesn’t want to run around and work hard to be Manchester United’s No 9.
“There were too many parts in the game where Manchester United did not do enough, the final third was poor.”
United paid an initial £36million for Martial from Monaco in 2015 and will let him go if they get a £40m bid in January.
He has 78 goals in 263 appearances after scoring on his debut against Liverpool.
Fans online were also unhappy with Martial’s West Ham showing.
One wrote: “Martial’s career is finished at Man Utd if we’re being honest.”
Another United fan account tweeted: “If 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo could track back, defend and run up and down the pitch, what excuse does 25-year-old Martial have?

“Slow, uninterested and static up front. Makes it hard to defend him.”
And Ryan posted: “Genuinely think I put more effort making my cup of tea this morning than Martial did tonight. This is Man Utd’s #9.”
SunSport explored five Premier League clubs Martial could move to in January after it emerged he is reportedly willing to stay in England if he leaves Old Trafford.

Five Prem destinations for Anthony Martial including Arsenal and Tottenham as Man Utd ‘put striker on transfer list’

ANTHONY MARTIAL has reportedly been put up for sale by Manchester United.Eurosport claims the Red Devils are willing to accept just £40million in January as they look to lose his £250,000-a-week wages.

But after Martial rejected a deadline day move to Lyon in the summer transfer window, it’s believed he wants to stay in the Premier League.
Will there be any English takers for the 25-year-old France international this winter?
Here, we look at five potential Prem destinations for Martial.
    ARSENAL
The Gunners are no strangers to doing business with United, with the likes of Danny Welbeck and Henrikh Mkhitaryan winding their way to the Emirates from Old Trafford.
Alexandre Lacazette’s time appears to be up under Mikel Arteta, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isn’t getting any younger.
Martial is flexible enough to suit Arsenal’s fluid attack and could be the ideal man to slot in alongside Bukayo Saka up top.

    TOTTENHAM
Harry Kane is clearly Spurs’ undisputed No1 striker – but what if the England captain finally gets his wish and leaves?
Even if Kane doesn’t go, Tottenham are still without a good back-up player.
And with Martial’s ability to play on the wing, he could even feature alongside Kane under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Nuno Espirito Santo needs support – or potentially a replacement – for Harry Kane
    MANCHESTER CITY
Pep Guardiola famously failed to replace Sergio Aguero over the summer.
There’s no love lost between City and United, but if business is involved, both sides would be willing to put their differences aside.
Martial could be a great forward for Pep’s style of play, and would surely jump at the chance to move to the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola failed to land a striker over the summerCredit: PA
    LIVERPOOL
Roberto Firmino is just not cutting it for Jurgen Klopp at the moment.
Diogo Jota is a good option, but Martial would provide Liverpool’s front three with even more flair and sharper finishing.
The only question would be whether the two rivals are willing to hold talks with each other!
    WEST HAM
David Moyes has shown he’s not afraid of targeting big players, having landed Kurt Zouma from Chelsea over the summer.
The Hammers were hurt by Michail Antonio’s absence in their heartbreaking defeat to United at the weekend.
And Martial could quickly become Moyes’ No1 forward if being regularly fed by the likes of Said Benrahma.
