      But according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a failure by the clubs to reach an agreement is set to lead to the collapse of the proposed move.
      He tweeted: “Amad Diallo update. Manchester United have no full agreement with Birmingham City after further contacts – loan deal now expected to collapse.”
      It’s understood a number of teams are interested in acquiring the Ivory Coast international’s services for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign.
      And Romano claims the winger will leave the Theatre of Dream before the transfer window shuts on January 31.
      He continued: “Amad will 100% leave on loan.
      “Four proposals on the table, Feyenoord want him since August but player priority is for UK clubs.”

      Diallo officially joined United last January from Serie A side Atalanta for an initial fee of £18.17m.
      The teenager – who was signed by the axed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – has made nine appearances for the first team in the last 12 months, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
      Diallo’s stats for United’s Under-23s read far better, with the winger scoring six goals and racking up four assists in just five appearances.
      Last year, Solskjaer said of Diallo competing with Mason Greenwood for a place in the matchday squad: “It’s good to have rivalries and stuff like that to get into the team.

      But it seems that Newcastle will now have to look elsewhere, despite them willing to splash the cash to secure his services.
      Spanish publication Sport have claimed that Martial has ‘no interest’ in signing for the Magpies.
      And it even states that the star already ‘refused to sign’ for the Magpies after they tabled a £30m bid for him.
      Now it seems that a move to Spain is Martial’s preferred option, with United boss Ralf Rangnick already admitting the ace wants out of Old Trafford.

      The claim was made by talkSPORT presenter Jim White as he revealed exclusive details from inside Ed Woodward’s 16-year tenure as executive vice-chairman.
      And during that discussion Mourinho’s two-and-a-half-year reign in charge was debated.
      The Special One led United to the Community Shield, EFL Cup and the Europa League during that period but he was still sacked in 2018 after a run of poor results and several dressing-room fallouts.

      Napoli will pay United a £500,000 loan fee with an extra £500k potentially to be paid for bonuses, reports transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
      The switch to Napoli means Tuanzebe’s season-long loan deal at Aston Villa will come to an end – despite previously wanting to make his stay permanent at Villa Park.
      But Tuanzebe has played just eight minutes of football for Villa since Steven Gerrard arrived at the club.

      MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly opened talks over a free transfer for Dan-Axel Zagadou.The giant Borussia Dortmund defender, 22, is in the final six months of his contract.

      And Fussball Transfers claims Ralf Rangnick is eager to snap up 6ft 6in Zagadou for nothing when his deal expires this summer.
      United targeted a move for the France Under-21 star last year during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign.
      And Zagadou was also wanted by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta before he moved for Brighton’s Ben White.
      Zagadou has played 13 times for Dortmund this season after recovering from a lengthy knee injury.
