RALF RANGNICK was left dismayed by the Manchester United scouting department when he joined the club, according to reports. RB Leipzig winger Christopher Nkunku is enjoying a sensational campaign, drawing attention from around Europe.

And the Red Devils were told they will need to pay £62.5million for the Leipzig star this summer.

MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea are favourites to sign Benfica hot shot Darwin Nunez, according to reports.Nunez, 22, has the Premier League big boys on high alert, with Benfica open to selling the Uruguay international.

The Athletic report that the South American star will be one of this summer’s “major transfers”.

His value is predicted to be around £58million but he is still in contract until 2025 and his release clause is said to be a staggering £127m.

Erik ten Hag insists on being ‘100% involved’ in Man Utd transfers and contracts as he strives to build ‘perfect’ squad

And when he does arrive at Old Trafford, he wants to do things his own way.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Ten Hag is determined to oversee all matters transfer related if he is appointed as boss.
He has personally requested from United chiefs to be “100 percent involved in present and future transfers”, and therefore the overall policy at the club.
Ten Hag has insisted on overseeing all incomings and outgoings, as well as contract renewals.
And one early item for the agenda could be the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 37-year-old has just over 12 months remaining on the two-year deal he penned last summer, but could leave at the end of the current campaign if Champions League qualification isn’t secured.
Ten Hag is understood to consider control over transfers a “key point” to his Manchester United vision, and wishes to identify players to bring to the club who match his philosophy and style of play.
One man who has already been earmarked as a target is Wolves’ midfield maestro Ruben Neves.

Tielemans could be sold in the upcoming transfer window after he allegedly rejected a bumper new deal to stay in the Midlands.
The Foxes are said to have slashed their asking from £60million just to avoid losing him on a free.
Commenting on his future, Tielemans has revealed he is not thinking about next season, but stressed he wants to be competing for Europe’s premier tournament.
