SERIE A minnows Salernitana are reportedly interested in signing soon-to-be free agent Edinson Cavani.The 35-year-old is out on contract at the end of June, ending his two-year stay at Manchester United.

Man Utd transfer target Darwin Nunez told to snub Old Trafford for Liverpool by Premier League legend

DARWIN NUNEZ has been told NOT to pursue a transfer to Manchester United and to instead join Liverpool by former Kop star Jose Enrique. New United boss Erik ten Hag wants to bring the 22-year-old striker to Old Trafford to spearhead his rebuild of the United squad.

However, Enrique – who appeared in the Man Utd vs Liverpool legends game – declared Nunez should snub a move to Manchester in favour of joining up with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Enrique took to his Instagram story to highlight an article which suggested Nunez was set to move to United, giving a passionate answer to the reports.
He said: “I hope this is not true and he comes to us instead.
“We should go for him, a top player who can become world class under Klopp if we sell Sadio Mane.”

Lingard joined the Red Devils’ U9s in 2001 and went on to make 232 appearances for United, scoring 31 and assisting 21.
The England international won three major honours with United.
In the 2015/16 season, he scored in the FA Cup final to help United overcome Crystal Palace and lift the FA Cup.

Pogba quit Old Trafford for the Serie A giants in 2012 and Juve keeper Szczesny believes his club team-mates will be over the moon to see the midfielder return to Turin.

MANCHESTER UNITED will pay Paul Pogba a £3.8million loyalty bonus when he leaves at the end of the month, according to reports.The Red Devils announced on Wednesday Pogba will leave upon the expiry of his contract and thanked him for his efforts over the last six years.

But in one final insult to fans who became fed up with the Frenchman over the last few months, United will fork out almost £4m more as a loyalty bonus, report the Daily Mail.
Pogba, 29, is also set to receive around £1.1m in wages for the month of June – without kicking a ball.
The World Cup winner gets a loyalty bonus as his salary has been cut each year, starting at £8.6m and dropping to £7.7m, with Pogba now being paid back the difference.
The midfielder has been paid more than £90m in wages by United since 2016, as well as collecting image rights payments totalling £2.8m-a-year and a £1.8m bonus for each Champions League qualification.

Now United will lose Pogba for nothing with a return to Juventus on the cards.
He faces a massive wage cut should he return to Serie A so Paris Saint-Germain could entice him back to his hometown with bigger wages and a chance to win silverware.
