It was revealed earlier this week that the two Turkish giants had joined Manchester United in the chase for Icardi’s signature.
The pair of Istanbul rivals are both interested in signing the 29-year-old striker.
And according to RMC Sport, Nara has travelled to Istanbul in order to negotiate the conditions on a proposed move.

However, his annual salary of around 170k-a-week remains a stumbling block.

The player has already agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfit where he is expected to pocket a whopping £350,000-a-week.
Casemiro trained with his Los Blancos team-mates on Friday morning ahead of the club’s clash against Celta Vigo on Saturday, before saying his goodbyes, according to Fabrizio Romano.
And Ancelotti has stated that he has informed the LaLiga giants of his desire for a new challenge having spent nine years at the Bernabeu.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he said: “I have spoken with Casemiro.

“Casemiro wants to try a new challenge, and I and the club understand that.
“After all, he’s done for this club, we need to respect his decision.
“Negotiations are ongoing but he has decided to leave Real Madrid.”
Ancelotti continued: “Casemiro is leaving but we have a lot of resources to replace him. There is no turning back, Casemiro has decided to try a new challenge.

“We want to wish him the very best. Just yesterday I realised that Casemiro is leaving, but our plans don’t change – we’ll compete for everything with or without Casemiro.
“I think Casemiro has been a key player for us, he was important to [Toni] Kroos and [Luka] Modric – the combination was key to success.
“Casemiro’s team-mates understand his decision, they respect it – it was his will to try a new challenge and we have to accept it.”

Ancelotti then expressed his confusion as to why the player has decided to swap the Champions League for a team sitting bottom of the Premier League table.
He remarked: “I can’t reply to why Casemiro traded European Champions for a struggling side, it’s his personal decision.”
Casemiro has been allowed to depart with Real able to rely on French duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni in central midfield.

Man Utd ‘stuck in the 90s with leaky roof, old fashioned menu and visitors no longer shown previous season’s trophies’

MANCHESTER UNITED have begun the Premier League season terribly but problems go beyond what happens on the pitch. An investigation has been carried out by The Athletic taking a deeper look into what other football clubs perception of Man Utd amid their crisis.

A number of executives and personnel from other sides were spoken to and all highlighted issues with Old Trafford and the general vibe around the club.
When the Glazer family took over the club in 2005, Old Trafford was one of the world’s best stadiums but modern day builds have overtaken it due to the lack of investment in maintenance.
Those interviewed revealed the Theatre of Dreams is out-dated, has many issues with leaks in the roofs and appears: “Tired”.
One said: “Everything about the club has the sense of a very big ship that hasn’t been modernised for a long time and is going to take a long time to turn around.”
    READ MORE ON MAN UTD
Even down to the matchday hospitality, one said regarding the food served: “It’s old-fashioned. it’s still three courses, usually a roast and wine,
“Whereas most clubs have moved to a buffet and modern cuisine. The club still seems to be stuck in the 90s.”
Another stressed the lack of happiness even behind the scenes describing staff as: “Downtrodden. You don’t get any smiles or any sense they’re happy to have you there.”
Stories were also shared at how when directors from rival clubs visited Old Trafford they’d get photos with trophies the team had won in recent seasons.

It annoyed some directors but added to the illustrious nature of Man Utd, now this tradition is no longer in place due to the team’s lack of success.
There was even more damming statement when it comes to the way the club behaves in Premier League meetings.
A protected source expressed there is: “A complacency, an arrogance — that thing of, ‘We’re Manchester United’. But they’re losing their touch.
“It’s ironic that in Premier League meetings they’ll talk about the size of the club they are, yet right now they’re bottom of the table.
“It will sound like a cheap shot, but in terms of how the club looks and feels, it’s almost not a surprise.
More suggested that those in charge need to focus on the team rather than trying to build a brand.
The future of Cristiano Ronaldo is in doubtCredit: Getty
They believe the club fell apart and have not adapted to Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013 as he controlled everything.
There was further confusion regarding the club’s hierarchical structure with many stressing they don’t understand who is in charge of what at the club.
One said: “John Murtough is the sporting director and Darren Fletcher is the technical director. What’s the difference? How does that work?
“When you contact the club, do you speak to John or Darren? Or do you speak to Richard Arnold, the chief executive? Who’s calling the shots?
“When people say it’s chaotic behind the scenes, it really looks that way.”
    Most read in Sport
An agent also stated he found doing deals with United challenging as he was in contact with so many people.
And that he advises his clients not to join the Red Devils because they are “toxic” and the squad have awful body language highlighting the reaction to going 1-0 down at Brentford,
Further question marks have been raised over the decision to appoint Ralf Rangnick as manager then not let him continue after in an ‘upstairs’ role when that is strength.
Also criticism was fired at United’s transfer strategy for chasing players who don’t want to come or aren’t available in Frenkie de Jong.
With one saying as they launch a bid for Casemiro as an alternative they look “desperate”.
Another didn’t understand their targeting of youngsters like Jadon Sancho but abandoning that principle for expensive experience like Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane hinting at a haphazard plan.

And to tempt the five-time Champions League winner to leave Real, United are willing to DOUBLE Casemiro’s wages.
Casemiro would earn an eye-watering £350,000-a-week at Man Utd, making him the third highest paid player at the club.
The midfielder would only be behind Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea, while being level with Jadon Sancho.
The club hope to confirm a deal before Monday’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.

It will be a much-needed boost for the ailing Red Devils who sit bottom of the Premier League after two opening defeats.
However, some have questioned the move, and whether Casemiro’s age is the right profile of player United should be signing.

Many players in their 30s still perform consistently in the Premier League.
One Twitter user said: “When [Kevin] de Bruyne, who is older than Casemiro, signed a contract to keep him at City until 2025, I don’t remember anyone questioning his age.

“Maybe I missed it? Mad how the smallest thing becomes a massive deal when it’s United.”
United’s summer recruitment has been criticised with just three players arriving in left-back Tyrell Malacia, centre-back Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen.
United have failed to get a deal for their No1 target Frenkie de Jong over the line.
Rivals Chelsea are now in pole position for him but the player is still refusing to leave Barcelona until they have settled his backdated wages believed to be around £20m.

Jaap Stam warns Man Utd will KEEP shipping goals if Erik ten Hag does not find fix with pint-sized Lisandro Martinez

Jaap Stam feels Erik ten Hag has a serious issue when it comes to MartinezCredit: Rex
That is the view of club legend and former centre-back, Jaap Stam, who has seen Martinez struggle in his old position during his first two games for the Red Devils.
Treble-winner Stam, at 6ft 3in, was a towering presence at the back — something 5ft 9in Argentinian Martinez is not.
The £48.3million summer signing from Ajax — where he played under new United boss Erik ten Hag — has been targeted and exposed in both defeats to Brighton and Brentford.
And Stam fears this is going to continue, with bitter rivals Liverpool next up at Old Trafford on Monday.

Speaking to Safe Betting Sites UK, the 50-year-old insisted: “I always said it from the start, when he went to United, I said, ‘They’re probably going to be talking about his height’.
“It’s a common thing in the Premier League that teams are looking for centre-backs that are strong and big because of the physical part of the game.
“Bringing him in, it’s a challenge for him. It’s going to be interesting how he is adapting.
“Already people are criticising him — and the coach a little as well about bringing him in — because of his height.

“He’s struggling in the aerial battles. You don’t need to be very tall to be a good centre-back, even in the Premier League, if you’re clever enough, then you can handle a lot of situations.
“But you can see with set-pieces, which are becoming a very big thing in football, especially in the Premier League, you need to be able to fight in the air and to win your aerial battles.
“You see in the games against Brentford and Brighton, if the opposition is playing long balls, they’re going to play them on him, because the majority of times he’s going to lose it.
“If Ten Hag is keeping Martinez on the pitch, they need to find a solution to handle that.
“Otherwise, it’s going to happen over and over again.”
It certainly happened for Brentford on the half-hour on Saturday, when Ben Mee won the far-post aerial battle to head in the Bees’ third goal on the way to a 4-0 half-time lead.
At the break, the 24-year-old Martinez — nicknamed The Butcher — was hooked by Ten Hag and replaced with Raphael Varane.
It will be interesting to see who starts against Liverpool in three days’ time, with United sitting rock bottom of the Prem.
Captain Harry Maguire’s place is not certain, either.
Stam, who won a hat-trick of Premier League titles, the FA Cup and Champions League in his three seasons at Old Trafford between 1998 and 2001, can see Maguire is struggling.
They need to find a solution… otherwise it’s going to happen over and over again.Jaap Stam on Lisandro Martinez
But he believes the England defender needs more assistance from the players around him, who are just too static.
Stam added: “Harry can do better than what he’s been showing.
“To be fair to him, it’s also important what the players around him are doing.
“This manager is asking things of him that maybe he’s not always used to.
“That takes a certain time to get the confidence in doing and having that self-belief to perform better.
“It’s important the players alongside him but also in front of him, the midfield players, are helping him out and giving him the right options.
“For instance, the moments against Brentford they got caught out at times.
“He played it into Christian Eriksen, who lost it and needed to track back and make a foul at the edge of the box.
“These are situations players can help Maguire out a lot more, so he can just easily play the ball to his side and then they’re out. These are not difficult things.
“Diogo Dalot on the right side, he needs to help Maguire out as well by taking up the right positions. A lot of times, that’s not helping him.
“Now United are playing with one holder instead of two, that makes it more difficult as well and easier for the opposition to press. These are things that can help Maguire out.
“Defensively, sometimes he’s making decisions that are not the correct ones — but that’s also true for a lot of players around him.
“United need to make it clear in how they need to defend and putting more energy into it if someone goes wrong.
“If they’re losing the ball, they need to all spring back — sometimes they’re just waiting, even in possession, for the man with the ball to take a decision.
    Read More on The Sun
“If somebody’s got the ball at his feet, then the other ones need to make movements to give options.
“These are things that probably the manager is working on but are not always being shown on the pitch.” More
