But it has been revealed by Dutch journalist Gerjan Hamstelaar he still owes Ajax some money in fines after going AWOL while still with the club.
The Mirror have reported Antony’s new contract will see him earn a staggering £200,000 per week.
This means he will be able to pay off the fine he owes them after just THREE DAYS of work and have a fair bit of change left over.
Antony has already been snapped arriving at Carrington – United’s training complex.

However, United are yet to unveil the 22-year-old and considering work permit delays he is unlikely to feature against Leicester on Thursday.
Instead, his debut is more likely to come against league leaders Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in inspired form, having maintained a 100 per cent record with four wins from four to start the season.
Antony’s compatriot Gabriel Jesus arrived at the Emirates earlier in the window and has helped Mikel Arteta’s side maintain their sensational start to the season.

Erik ten Hag – and the rest of the United faithful – will be hoping Antony can have a similar impact at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag has already expressed the importance of the Antony signing for the upcoming season.
He said: “In the offensive department, we still needed to strengthen our squad because we have many games to cover, from now we go three games a week, every third or fourth day.
“As you know, especially offensive players, they fatigue quicker, they have to run more, it is high intensity, we expect that from them. We don’t only need quantity, we need quality.” More

Cristiano Ronaldo ‘called for captain Harry Maguire to be DEMOTED’ and labelled him ‘part of the problem’ at Man Utd

CRISTIANO RONALDO called for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire to be “DEMOTED” to the bench and labelled the centre-back “part of the problem”, according to reports. The 37-year-old’s return to Old Trafford has not gone to plan and tensions grew last season as United crossed the finish line in sixth position – missing out on Champions League football.

And details have emerged surrounding Ronaldo’s demands as the team faltered in February.
According to sensational reports in The Athletic, Ronaldo made line-up suggestions and stated who he felt was his ideal strike partner.
It has also been claimed Ronaldo and a cohort of senior players, including ex-United ace Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane approached then interim manager Ralf Rangnick to discuss these issues.
However, club captain Maguire was NOT present and in the meeting with Rangnick, Ronaldo called on the England centre-back to be DEMOTED to the bench.

The report goes on to state “Ronaldo retorted to say he believed Maguire was part of the problem”.
Rangnick expressed he felt the conversation was inappropriate without Maguire, and some of the other players present apologised to the German boss subsequently.
Ronaldo’s representatives, Gestifute, were approached by The Athletic for comment – but they’re yet to respond.
With just a day left of the summer transfer window, Ronaldo is unlikely to get his wish of a transfer away from United.

Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has held talks with a number of top European clubs.
However, no formal moves have been submitted for the legendary 815-goal striker.
Out of the four Premier League games played so far, Ronaldo has started just once, and that came in the embarrassing 4-0 away defeat to Brentford.
New boss Erik ten Hag’s decision to drop Ronaldo for last Monday’s game against Liverpool was justified by the end of the night as United went on to win the game 2-1.
A front three of Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho brought the energy Ten Hag says he needed.
Maguire too has found himself sitting on the bench in recent games.
Despite the previous two managers sticking with Maguire, and the player having a good relationship with his peers, he has found himself behind Varane and summer signing Lisandro Martinez in the pecking order. More

Dest ‘chooses Man Utd over Villarreal’ but loan transfer in doubt with Ten Hag and board split over Barcelona right-back

SERGINO DEST has reportedly chosen to join Manchester United with new boss Erik ten Hag keen to seal a transfer – but the board is split on the move. The American right-back, 21, is surplus to requirements at Barcelona and could be allowed to leave the Camp Nou permanently or on loan.

Spanish side Villarreal submitted a loan proposal, but there are concerns over whether they will be able to pay Dest’s salary.
Man Utd are also interested in signing the pacey full-back, who worked with Ten Hag at Ajax.
And according to Sport, Dest has chosen to join Man Utd if they can agree terms with Barca.
Such a move would allow Aaron Wan-Bissaka to leave the club with West Ham and former club Crystal Palace keen on acquiring his services.

However, Jonas Hen Shrag reports there is some reluctance within the club to let Wan-Bissaka leave – which could hinder United’s chances on signing Dest.
Wan-Bissaka joined Man Utd three years ago for £50m.
The right-back has made 127 appearances for the club but has found himself benched this season.
Wan-Bissaka has played once in the Premier League, with that appearance coming in the 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Man Utd’s Antony transfer will kill two birds with one stone with Jadon Sancho set to benefit from Brazilian’s arrival

MANCHESTER UNITED have killed two birds with one stone with the signing of Antony.United have announced that an agreement has been reached with Ajax for the signing of right-winger Antony.
Anthony’s arrival at Man United will help fix the club’s attacking problems on the right wingCredit: Reuters
His arrival will also allow Jadon Sancho to flourish in his natural position on the left flankCredit: Getty
The fee is a whopping £85million, including add-ons, making him the club’s second most expensive signing.
The Brazilian international arrived in Manchester yesterday, along with his agent and his family to complete his medical at the Carrington training ground.
But visa issues mean he will probably miss the Leicester City game on Thursday – and instead be unleashed against Arsenal on Sunday in a potentially dream debut.
For sure, it would have been ideal had the 22-year-old completed his move to the Red Devils at the beginning of the transfer window, allowing him to settle into the club.

And it would have helped Erik Ten Hag bring advanced tactical ideas to the team during the pre-season fixtures.
However, it is better to sign him later rather than never to address a position that is truly lacking quality and depth, assisting the team to push forward with reaching their objectives.
The player’s commitment to reunite with his former manager cannot be taken for granted.
He missed a couple of days of training with Ajax over the last week in a bid to force the Dutch club into accepting his desire to leave and accept United’s offer.

Antony’s presence at Old Trafford would solve a couple of immediate issues for Ten Hag and Manchester United.
He’ll be filling in an empty void in the right-wing position, a department that has not been effectively and ruthlessly strengthened since the days of Nani, who left the club at the end of the 2015/16 season.
The side went on to sign the likes of Juan Mata, HenrikhMkhitaryan and Daniel James, but none of them were able to hold on to the position consistently.
Not only that, but Jadon Sancho would be allowed to play in his natural position on the left flank.
This is where he is able to view the pitch at a high level of intelligence and understanding, going on to possibly form good chemistry and balance with left-back Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen on theleft side of the team.
His style of play relies on an overlapping full-back and players who can provide good movement and combination play with him through the middle of the pitch.
And with the current players within the United squad, he would be more dangerous down the left than the right.
On the other hand, Antony is a left-footed right-winger, who has the capability of running directly at the opposition’s defence from the touchline area.
Or he wants to cut into the central area and likes to attempt to shoot the ball into the top left corner.
His silky footwork and bags of trickery make him adifficult player to defend against, as he is unpredictable and composed within tight spaces.
When compared to the rest of the attacking midfielders and wingers in the top five leagues of Europe over the last 365 days, Antony is in the top one per cent for assists, shot-creating actions andfor touches in the attacking third.
He achieved two goals and four assists in seven Champions Leagueappearances for Ajax during the 2021/22 campaign.
    Read More Sun Sport
That is a statistic that should bring confidence to the Old Trafford faithful.
Overall, the Red Devils have a good balance out on the wings in Antony and Sancho, which should help the team control possession of the ball high up the pitch and force the opposition into making errors in their own half.
Although Ten Hag is still in need of a few players to get the ball rolling with his style of play at Old Trafford, he has been presented with the ideal signings and new faces that should hopefully allow him to effectively lay out the foundations.

While there still is a little over 24 hours for Ronaldo to seal a move away from the club, last season’s top scorer seems destined to stay.
Despite being linked with the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Sporting Lisbon over the course of the window, none of them have launched a formal offer for him.
An unnamed Saudi club are thought to be the only side to have bid for Ronaldo.
But he snubbed a two-year deal worth a staggering £211m.
Ronaldo is desperate to continue playing in the Champions League, but is now set to turn out in the Europa League this season.

Forest decided against adding Garner to their list of eighteen signings this summer.
