The young defender played the full 90 against PSG’s superstars in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Silva impressed as he and his fellow defenders held firm against Lionel Messi and co in a surprise 1-1 draw in Portugal.
United had scouts in the stands watching the teen as they plot a potential transfer, according to the Mirror.
The player is seen as a real prospect who still has space to develop his skillset.

But Silva does have a contract at the Stadium of Light until 2027.
But in a boost for Erik ten Hag, his deal includes a release clause that could allow him to be signed for only £13m.

He has also made international appearances for Portugal’s youth teams.
The transfer speculation comes after a difficult week for Man United’s defence.
After shipping six at Man City, ten Hag’s side went to Cyprus for their Europa League clash with Omonia and conceded two against the minnows.
Marcus Rashford scored a brace to help United squeeze to a 3-2 victory.
Meanwhile there are continuing concerns over the fitness of senior defenders.
Raphael Varane may not be fit for tomorrow’s trip to Everton after limping off against City.
While Harry Maguire picked up a knock during international duty and definitely won’t be available for the game on Merseyside. More

Inside fuming Cristiano Ronaldo’s training ground rows with Erik ten Hag as he desperately seeks Man Utd transfer exit

CRISTIANO RONALDO often complains about the quality of Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag’s training and considers the Dutchman “Stubborn”, according to reports. The 699-club goal man, 37, made no secret he wanted out of United in the summer.

United failed to qualify for the Champions League, finishing sixth in the Premier League, and also failed to pick up any silverware.
The disappointment came despite Ronaldo’s individual brilliance, netting 24 goals across all competitions.
And so Ronaldo asked to leave in the summer but struggled to find a new suitor despite super agent Jorge Mendes working hard to engineer a move.
Ronaldo doesn’t fit within Ten Hag’s project, clearly, with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner starting the large majority of the season from the bench.

Academy product Marcus Rashford has been preferred up top.
And with Anthony Martial in form, Ronaldo is likely to continue watching from the sideline.
Ronaldo’s form on the pitch isn’t the only reason he may find himself out of the team for the foreseeable future.
According to The Times, Ronaldo “complains about the nature and quality of training sessions” and is described as “often at loggerheads with the latest coach”.

Ronaldo is also said to consider Ten Hag “stubborn”.
The Dutchman is insistent on playing a system which worked so well at Ajax, but has delivered catastrophic defeats to Brighton, Brentford and rivals Manchester City.
Ronaldo was an unused substitute in last weekend’s 6-3 loss to Prem champions Man City.
The forward cut a frustrated figure from the bench.
But Ten Hag says the decision not to bring Ronaldo on was one made out of respect.
Ten Hag said post-match: “I wouldn’t bring him in. . . out of respect for Cristiano, for his big career.”
He then stated a few days later: “He wants to play.
“And he is p***ed off when he’s not playing.
“But he is training well, he has a good mood, he is motivated and he gives his best, and that is what we expect.”
It was reported Ronaldo could leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.

However, much like in the summer, a lack of suitors could scupper a move away with the player commanding a high salary.
It is also believed Ten Hag would not want to let Ronaldo go as he will reportedly not be given funds to replace him. More

Real Madrid move in on Jude Bellingham and are confident of beating Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea to £87m transfer

REAL MADRID are poised to pip the Prem big guns to land Jude Bellingham for £87million next summer. The Spanish giants have made their opening moves in the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund star, despite the Prem sides having monitored him since his Birmingham days.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and champions Manchester City are all eyeing the 19-year-old.
But Madrid believe they are in pole position to persuade Dortmund to agree a deal ahead of a move at the end of the season.
The Bernabeu hierarchy see Bellingham’s arrival completing the overhaul of their midfield engine room.
Real, who sold Brazilian Casemiro to Manchester United in August, know that time is running out for Luka Modric, 37, and 32-year-old Toni Kroos.

But having already recruited French duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, Madrid think England ace Bellingham would be the perfect third piece in that central jigsaw.
Madrid have leaked their determination and interest to the big Spanish sports newspapers, with Marca splashing a picture of Bellingham on their front page yesterday.
It was the clearest sign that Real are pushing hard and the club is briefing that conversations between the two clubs have now started.
But that will be a body-blow for the Prem sides who have been equally keen to bring Bellingham back to England after seeing the box-to-box livewire live up to all his billing in the Bundesliga.

Bellingham, who quit Brum for Dortmund in 2020, is expected to be in England’s starting XI at next month’s World Cup, where his profile could go even higher.
His latest man-of-the-match masterclass, with a superb run and finish in Dortmund’s 4-1 Champions League win at Sevilla on Wednesday, was further evidence of why he is so highly prized.
While Dortmund kept him last summer by putting a £115m valuation on his back, it is anticipated that they will be more likely to accept a lower offer next year.
But Real’s early move means the Prem sides will have to blow any Real bid out of the water to have a chance of persuading Bellingham that his future lies in England and not LaLiga.

Man Utd one of two Premier League clubs in transfer running for Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano, claims Napoli star’s ex-agent

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly one of two Premier League clubs chasing Hirving “Chucky” Lozano. The 27-year-old Mexican international is currently starring for Napoli in Italy.

The forward moved to Serie A from PSV in 2019 and has scored 20 goals in 95 matches since.
He was initially linked with a move to England during his time in Holland, and other reports have surfaced over more recent times.
Everton were considering a swoop for the ace, who is under contract until 2024, when Carlo Ancelotti, who managed him at Napoli, was in charge.
They continue to hold an interest despite Frank Lampard now being at the helm.

Now Lozano’s former agent, Alessandro Monfrecola, has claimed that both the Toffees and United could sign his client at the end of the season.
Monfrecola told Gonfia la Rete: “Next June, Lozano will leave in my opinion, also because he earns over 4 million at Napoli.
“Although he is delighted to be here, he has never hidden that he aspired to the top English clubs, although now he is probably realising that Napoli itself is a top club.
“He has never hidden that he loves Barcelona and Real Madrid, but unless Ancelotti falls in love with him again, he has no market.”

He added: “I think he could land in Manchester United or Everton.
“This does not exclude that other English teams could enter the negotiation.

Lozano is nicknamed “Chucky” in his homeland.

Chelsea vs Man Utd fixture kick-off time FINALLY confirmed but Red Devils forced to slash away fan allocation

CHELSEA and Manchester United’s Premier League match has finally been scheduled for 5.30pm on October 22. But due to policing issues, United have had to cut their away ticketing allocation from 2,994 to 2,370.

A statement read: “In recent days we have been in consultation with the Premier League and Chelsea FC after the Metropolitan Police proposed a reduction in our away allocation due to policing concerns.
“The police initially sought to cut our allocation from 2,994 to 1,500. We have strongly opposed any reduction and worked with Chelsea to present a range of mitigations to the local Safety Advisory Group, which we believe could have allowed the game to proceed safely with our full allocation of fans.
“Unfortunately, the police have continued to insist on a reduction. However, we have succeeded in increasing the allocation to 2,370.

“While we are very disappointed by this outcome and believe it is unjustified, it is clear it is a final decision.
“We are now urgently considering options for how to manage the removal of 624 tickets from the original allocation which had already been agreed with Chelsea and sold.
“We will send further communications to supporters on Monday, outlining our approach. In the meantime, we strongly advise against booking travel.
“Everyone at Manchester United shares the inevitable disappointment and frustration about both the reduced allocation, and the long delay in confirming arrangements for this game.

“Over recent years, we have made significant progress in protecting away ticket allocations for our fans and we can assure you that we will continue to fight for this in future.”
According to The Athletic, the game was originally scheduled for Sunday, October 23 at 4.30pm.
But the match had to be moved due to Chelsea’s Champions League tie on the following Tuesday.
It was moved by a day but faced difficulty scheduling it as it was selected for a Sky Sports broadcast slot.
So it will now be played at 5.30pm, leading to the Metropolitan Police proposing a reduction in the number of away fans.
The sides could not be separated in the league last season, following a pair of 1-1 draws.
Now both sides have new managers, Graham Potter at Chelsea and Erik ten Hag with United.

Some of Ronaldo’s United team-mates also believed he would be off when the transfer window re-opens.
But according to ESPN there are a lack of suitors for Ronaldo and that means he is set to stay until the end of the season, when his contract expires.
It is also believed Erik ten Hag would not want to let Ronaldo go as he will reportedly not be given funds to replace him.
That will not stop Ronaldo pushing for a move however as he is still keen to play Champions League football.

Man Utd verdict: Ten Hag almost suffers THIRD embarrassment of Red Devils reign… now Everton will fancy their chances

ERIK TEN HAG has got some hard work to do in the next 48 hours or Manchester United will come unstuck against The Toffees. Then United really will be back to square one.

Might sound harsh given that the Red Devils did come from behind to win 3-2 in Cyprus, but once again there were worrying signs.
There have been some embarrassing moments for this club in the nine years since Sir Alex Ferguson bowed out.
The problem is Ten Hag has presided over two and this was very nearly a third.
There was the 4-0 defeat at Brentford and Sunday’s derby debacle which could have been 8-1 if City hadn’t taken their foot off the pedal.

    Now this.
The first half here against a team that finished seventh in last season in Cyprus was once again ‘unacceptable’ – a phrase Ten Hag has had to use more than once this season.
There were eight of the starting line up from Sunday afforded the chance to show that was the blip after a run of four consecutive Premier League wins.
    They didn’t.

Yes there were early chances, but that lack of belief when things don’t go there way reared it’s ugly head again.
A lack of belief that United certainly had at The Etihad as Manchester City dominated from the word go.
The trip to Everton on Sunday evening will see them face a side unbeaten in six all be it four of them have been draws, but two away from home and one a creditable goalless one at home to Liverpool.
The table currently shows that Everton have the best defence in the league having conceded just seven.
With Anthony Martial back and now with three goals in 76 minutes over the last two games there will be hope of putting a dent in that.
Player of the month Marcus Rashford added another two when he came on to further advance his England claims.
The first half here against a team that finished seventh in last season in Cyprus was once again ‘unacceptable’ – a phrase Ten Hag has had to use more than once this season.
But look elsewhere around the pitch and there is still plenty of cause for concern if you are a United fan.
Note the opening goal from Omonia Nicosia.
What is Tyrell Malacia doing as he is dispossessed and why he is the last man 30 yards inside the opponents half?
Why didn’t Jadon Sancho track back having put him in trouble with the pass?
Both players hooked at the break, Malacia for the second successive game.
Luke Shaw needs to start on Sunday.
What was Antony doing out there apart from a spectacular first half shot.
Yes he has scored on his debut and hit a cracker one on Sunday at The Etihad but he disappears.
And United can quickly disappear and turn off during games.

Witness how they immediately let Omonia back into this game having gone 3-1 ahead to finish it 3-2.
You can afford a patchy performance in the Europa League and still sneak a win but you cannot do it in the Premier League and United cannot afford to do it at Goodison Park on Sunday. More
