But according to talkSPORT reports, a section of Black Cats supporters ignored his request against Millwall on Saturday.
Early on during the game, the chant – which includes a line about the size of his manhood – could be heard from the stands.
Diallo had previously stated: “Sunderland fans, I’ve had an amazing time so far and I love your energy.
“Hearing you sing my name is incredible, but we need to be respectful.

“Let’s change the song and keep the noise.”
Sunderland went on to hammer the South London club 3-0 as they move into the Championship’s top half.
Fans were pleased with the victory but had mixed emotions over the song.
One fan tweeted: “Before the game: Sunderland urge fans to stop singing the Amad Diallo chant. 20 seconds in: it gets sung.”

Another added: “Some of the comments on here are embarrassing. Lad has been class for us so far.
“Asks for a tiny bit of open minded thinking and understanding and people are abusing him. Get a grip man.”
Former Atalanta youngster Diallo cost the Old Trafford club £37million to sign nearly two years ago.
The starlet scored just one goal in nine competitive games for United.
And he also struggled during a loan spell at Rangers last term.
But the Ivory Coast international is starting to find his feet at the Black Cats.
And that can only bode well for Sunderland, Man Utd and Diallo. More

Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle transfer target Moises Caicedo to cost £70m as Brighton name price

MANCHESTER UNITED and Newcastle face a huge penalty if they want to land Brighton star Moises Caicedo. The Red Devils missed the chance to snap up the Ecuador midfield marauder, 21, two years ago.
Moises Caicedo continued to impress as he played for Ecuador at the World Cup in QatarCredit: AP
And now it will cost them £60-70million if they are to prise Caicedo away from the south coast, where he is a firm favourite.
Both Uniteds wished to buy Caicedo from Ecuadorian outfit Independiente del Valle — but Brighton had already been over to watch him.
Despite phone calls during Covid restrictions, the Reds and Magpies lost out to the Seagulls’ sales pitch as they snapped him up for £3.6m in February 2021.
Sources close to Caicedo say he was persuaded by the way Brighton pushed hardest when he was a relative unknown.

Now Caicedo is wanted by a host of top clubs, who also include Chelsea.
The deal is potentially a big triumph for Brighton, who committed to the player after watching just a handful of games backed by a slick stats department.
Their swoop came after Caicedo made his international debut to make sure he would get a work permit but before rich rivals could step in.
The Seagulls are also signing Argentinian kid Facundo Buonanotte, 17, who joins in a £10m deal next month from Rosario Central.

The south coast side have shown a willingness to sell their prized assets if the price has been right for them in the past.
In 2021, Ben White left for Arsenal in a £50m deal and last summer Yves Bissouma and Marc Cucurella were sold to Tottenham and Chelsea in big-money deals.
Brighton have started this season well and have managed to overcome the loss of boss Graham Potter who left for Chelsea.
New manager Robert De Zebri has continued the good work from the foundations set by the Englishman, with the club sitting pretty in seventh place in the Premier League. More

Memphis Depay, Daley Blind and Denzel Dumfries all found the net to see off the Americans at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Dutch starlet Gakpo – who already has a trio of goals in Qatar after scoring in all three group games – impressed once more despite not adding a fourth.
The 23-year-old PSV striker has been linked with a move away after also having a stunning start to the Eredivisie this season with nine goals and 12 assists in 14 appearances.
Man United and Real Madrid have both been heavily linked with Gakpo, whose contract runs out in June 2026.

And when asked whether Gakpo is ready to play at the level of either of those giant clubs, either in January or next summer, Van Dijk replied: “Is Manchester United and Real Madrid the same level at the moment?
“No disrespect, not at all. I definitely think he has that next step in him. I definitely feel like it could happen, whether that is in the winter or the summer or next year, time will tell.
“He is a great boy who works hard, very talented and definitely there is more in him. we are so pleased he is doing so well for us. Long may it continue.”
Holland will play either Argentina or Australia in the last eight before a potential semi-final clash with favourites Brazil.

But Van Dijk added: “I don’t think we will think about success at this point. We will think about game by game. We know we can be knocked out or sent home every game now.
“The focus will be on recovery and making sure we are ready for either Argentina or Australia. We will see.
“We play so many games so there is no point to look too far ahead.”
Van Dijk has also revealed he has full trust in Liverpool to find the right new owners with FSG open to selling in the near future.
Asked if it is on his mind during the World Cup, he explained: “Definitely I am aware of everything that is happening.
“Whether I am taking it in and doing something with it right now, I don’t think so because the full focus is on the World Cup.
“But hopefully everything will be sorted and clarified when I am back. At this point, I am definitely not thinking about it.
“I have full trust in Liverpool that they will be fine. We are a very established club, one of the biggest in the world and that will stay that way.
“Whoever comes in to fill in those roles, they will do very well.” More

Juventus club directors were subjected to wiretaps for over a year and now evidence is being presented to magistrates with the request to open a trial into financial irregularities
It has been suggested that in August 2021, the Red Devils attempted the swap deal just a year after the club had signed him from Ajax.
Van de Beek moved to Old Trafford for a fee of £39million and was expected to be a hit at the club.
However, he has failed to cement a spot in the team and has largely been a failure since the transfer.

This led to United trying to get him out of the club and according to Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Marco Guidi, he was offered to the Serie A giants.
Evidently, the move did not go through and the USA midfielder remained in Italy.
He is still a highly desirable asset and Tottenham have been linked with a move for him in January.
It was hoped that Van de Beek would get another chance at United after the appointment of his former manager Erik ten Hag in the summer.

However, he has only played four times in the Premier League this season as the boss has picked the likes of Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Casemiro and Fred over him.

Man Utd blow in transfer hunt for World Cup ace Kim Min-jae with Napoli set to rip up South Korean’s £39m release clause

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly received some bad news in their pursuit of Napoli and South Korea defender Kim Min-jae.The 26-year-old centre-back has impressed for his country at the World Cup in Qatar, playing an integral part in them reaching the last 16 for just the third time in their history.

His superb form at international level comes after an excellent start to the season in Italy.
Min-jae joined Napoli from Fenerbahce for £16million in the summer and made 20 appearances before the World Cup break, scoring two goals.
And his presence at the heart of their defence has seen them open up an eight-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.
They also won their Champions League group, beating Liverpool, Ajax and Rangers along the way to set up a second round clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

His swift rise has grabbed the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
United are one of those, but Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also monitoring his progress.
Erik ten Hag’s men were hopeful a £39m fee would seal a deal for the South Korean given that is the release clause in his Napoli contract.
However, Calcio Mercato are reporting that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis already wants to rip up his current deal – and the existing release clause – in order to tie him down for the foreseeable future.

If the Italians were to pen a new contract for Min-jae, that would make him a far more expensive acquisition for United.
Ten Hag is keen to add to the centre of his defence despite establishing an impressive partnership between Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
The accomplished pair have kept club captain Harry Maguire out of the side – although the England international is currently showing his quality for the Three Lions at the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Min-jae’s ability will be tested on Monday when South Korea come up against tournament favourites Brazil for a place in the quarter-finals.
They reached the second round after scoring an injury-time winner against Portugal – a goal which saw them leapfrog Uruguay on GOALS SCORED in an incredibly dramatic conclusion to Group H. More
