The full deal is believed to run over seven years in total – with Ronaldo taking on an ambassadorial role once he hangs up his boots.
That means Ronaldo would pocket as much as £1.2BILLION over the course of the contract.
Ronaldo said: “I’m thrilled for new experience in a different league and a different country.
“The vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring. I am very excited to join my team-mates, to help the team to achieve more success.”

“This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves.

Ronaldo had been heavily linked with a move to Saudi ever since his Man Utd deal was terminated following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo initially distanced himself from a move to the Middle East as he wanted play in the Champions League this season.

And during his interview with Morgan, Ronaldo confirmed he had previously turned down £3m per week to play in Saudi.
When pressed on how difficult it was to turn down a figure that high, he then added: “It’s hard. It’s hard. But in the same way, I thought that I was very happy here; that I [am] still capable to score goals and make people happy.
“I still believe that I can score many many goals and help the team because I still believe that I’m still good and capable to help national team – even Manchester United.
“But if you don’t feel around you that the energy’s on your side, it’s difficult. Of course, the criticism is gonna exists all the time. Ah he’s 37, he’s not the same.

“But I want to see if some guy of my age maintain the level that I show. You’re not gonna teach me that. Nobody is gonna teach me that.”
However, following a challenging World Cup which saw Ronaldo dropped to the bench by Portugal for their shock exit to Morocco, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has changed his mind.
Al Nassr, who have also been linked with a move for Ronaldo’s ex-Real Madrid team-mate Sergio Ramos, currently sit second in the Saudi Pro League table after seven wins from their opening 10 games.
And Ronaldo will be ready to hit the ground running having returned to training with former club Real Madrid to stay fit while he sorted his future.
Ronaldo’s last match came as a second-half substitute in Portugal’s quarter-final defeat to Morocco in Qatar.
Despite his 38th birthday coming up in January, he seems set to continue with the national team until Euro 2024.
That is despite a difficult season so far – with just three goals for United in 16 appearances.

He then managed just one more at the World Cup before being dropped for the knockout stages.
But Ronaldo’s form was positive earlier this year when he bagged a number of goals to finish with a tally of 24 for the 2021/22 campaign. More

It means that from January 1 he will be allowed to speak to non-Spanish clubs.
According to Sport, Man Utd are keen to tie down the Real Madrid man before he becomes a free agent in the summer.
The Red Devils – who face Wolves this weekend – missed out on Cody Gakpo after Liverpool swooped in to agree a deal for the Dutchman.
And now Asensio is being looked at by those inside Old Trafford once more.

The Spanish international’s agent, Jorge Mendes, was willing to sell his client to United last summer.

Now it appears the 14-time European champions will not adhere to his request and he will move on.
And Man Utd are one of the few clubs who could afford Asensio’s wages – currently thought to be around £120,000 per week.

Erik ten Hag bemoans Man Utd’s lack of ‘quality’ squad players and admits he could be forced into January transfer deals

ERIK TEN HAG has hinted that he could dip into the transfer market during the January window. It comes as the Dutchman bemoaned the lack of “quality” depth at Manchester United.

Ten Hag’s side are in action against Wolves on Saturday, fresh off the back of a convincing 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
However, Ten Hag has suggested United will need more quality if they are to succeed in achieving their goals and once again reiterated they were in the market for the “right player”.
He said: “I think we have a squad, we have players who are matching our criteria.
“But, all the games are coming. It’s a tough competition, in all the leagues, we want to be also in all the leagues and keep playing in all the leagues and in the cups as well.

“So we need players and we need numbers to cover. So we need good players, not just the numbers, we need quality players to cover.
“And also we need competition and we need to know also that we can make different choices.
“So we are looking for the right player for our squad but it has to match our sporting criteria, definitely, but also some financial criteria.”
The Nottingham Forest game finally allowed Ten Hag to unleash arguably his strongest attacking line-up.

He was also able to use a strong bench, including exciting teenager Alejandro Garnacho and scorer of the third goal Fred.
He added: “We need impact from the bench. I’m happy once again with the players coming from the bench – Fred scoring a goal, I think all the subs who came in did really well.
“Also, in the offensive department, we need players coming from the bench to have an impact on the game.
“Whether you need a goal, or save when you are leading, you can go for counter-attacks or, at least, keep the win on your side.”
Ten Hag is said to have been left “frustrated” by United’s failure to sign Cody Gakpo – who instead went to Liverpool.
And with the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo following the termination of his contract at Old Trafford, United have been left short on firepower up front.
Despite this, the squad has been boosted thanks to additions from elsewhere, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka returning to the fold after barely featuring in the first part of the season.
Ten Hag said of the full-back: “First you have to be on the pitch and the first half of the season he was either injured or ill so he didn’t have a role in the squad.
“So I think the break was good for him.
“He returned, he was in the training camp in Spain and could play some games in preparation of the restart and now he’s playing two games and he’s doing really well so I’m happy with his performance.

“(We will develop him) by training, by coaching. He has to play games in the team and then he can develop, then he can grow.
“But we need competition in the squad.” More

how United’s starting XI could look against Wolves
And Erik ten Hag is set to welcome back two major stars for the clash.
The first of these is Martinez, who has returned after celebrating Argentina’s World Cup win.
This will allow him to once again have his first-choice pairing at centre-back after he played Luke Shaw in the position against Nottingham Forest due to lack of options.
It came with Harry Maguire coming off the back of an illness and subsequently only featuring in the closing stages of the game.

Following a strong World Cup the Englishman may have had a chance to convince Ten Hag he is worthy of more minutes, but now it may go down as a missed opportunity.
But if Martinez is deemed unfit to play from the start, Ten Hag could give Maguire a chance or may opt to once again use Shaw as an emergency CB with Tyrell Malacia in at left-back.
Portugal star Diogo Dalot could be the other big name to return after he recovered from a hamstring injury.
However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka looks like a new player since domestic football returned, and may have done enough to convince his manager to keep faith with him for a little while longer.

Fred, scorer of United’s third goal against Forest, may be brought in to rest Christian Eriksen given the rapid turnaround of fixtures during the festive period.
Further up the pitch, while Antony will be expected to start, a poor game from him against Forest could lead to Ten Hag giving youngster Alejandro Garnacho a run out instead.

Erik ten Hag prefers Luke Shaw ahead of Harry Maguire at centre-back says ex-star Man Utd star

Maguire did feature as a late second-half substitute after making himself available for selection.
However, ex-United ace Paul Parker does not believe Ten Hag’s claim about the England hero’s illness.
Parker says if Maguire was ill, being selected on the bench, and then featuring in the second half, “doesn’t make any sense at all”.
He told BonusCodeBets: “First of all we have to say that Luke Shaw did very well playing as a centre half.

Maguire has been tipped to reclaim a starting spot at United having lost it at the start of the season with World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane preferred.
The 29-year-old impressed for England at the World Cup, and even received encouragement from boss Ten Hag.
Ten Hag said previously: “I’ve been asked many times if he is good enough to play for me and it is clear he is good enough to play at the highest level.
“He has, for England, almost all the time good games.
“Yes, he had a period in Manchester where he performed badly and then of course there are difficulties.
“But when he is confident in himself, he will put that on the pitch.
“When he is working hard you will get that confidence and you are seeing that with the way he is playing for England
“We want him to bring that back to Manchester with him so he can bring it on the pitch for Manchester United.

“I expect from him, the team knows what they expect from him.
“If he does that he will be a great player for us.”

After a slow start, the Ivory Coast star is now shining under Tony Mowbray and is finally showing glimpses of what earned him a big-money move to the Red Devils.
His latest strike came in Sunderland’s thumping 4-1 Championship win at Wigan.
After exchanging passes with Patrick Roberts, Diallo unleashed a swerving effort from outside of the box past the goalkeeper to send the away supporters wild.
That was his sixth goal of the campaign for the Black Cats, who have now moved up to fourth in the table.

Watch mad moment Man Utd transfer target Alvaro Morata somehow recovers from injury after realising he’s scored

SCORING a goal in football is one of the best feelings – and for Alvaro Morata it even seems to miraculously cure injuries. Morata, a transfer target of Manchester United, scored a wonderful if not slightly bizarre goal for Atletico Madrid which saw him undergo a “miracle” recovery.

The Chelsea flop skinned two defenders before firing a shot towards goal in an effort to double the lead against Elche on his side’s La Liga return.
A third defender came across and deflected the shot into a high arcing loop, while the second defender left a bit on Morata as he tried to recover from being beaten earlier.
The Spain World Cup star then fell to the floor writhing in pain – as his shot looped into the net to make it 2-0.
But mere seconds later, he was back up on his feet celebrating with team-mates as if he was never injured.

Some fans chose to also highlight team-mate Antoine Griezmann’s striking new hairdo, with the Frenchman showing off an all-pink head of hair.
