Erik ten Hag was spotted making a note immediately after one effort
In another attempt, the 23-year-old kicked the turf before the ball leading to an underwhelming delivery.
And fans did not take to kindly to the efforts as one viewer, who spotted manager Erik ten Hag making a note after the second gaffe, wrote: “Not sure Malacia will want to see what Ten Hag wrote on his little pad after those two corners.”
A second commented: “No more corners for Malacia.”
A third said: “Don’t think Malacia will be on corners for much longer. Kicked the turf before the ball with his first one and spooned the second straight into the stands.”

A fourth added: “Malacia just took the worst corner I have ever seen in my life.”
A fifth joked: “You can just tell from these Malacia corners that he’s way too excited to play with Weghorst.”
Manchester United did take the lead in the game as Anthony netted from range in the 21st minute.
Charlton are the lowest-ranked side left in the tournament but are up against it if they are to somehow make it to the semi-finals.

It appears they have found their man after agreeing on a deal with his parent club, Burnley and Besiktas, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
However, he claims that a deal would only be completed once the Turkish club have found a replacement.
The reporter tweeted: “Manchester United have reached full, verbal agreement to sign Wout Weghorst.
“Understand deal will cost around €3m (£2.65m) to Besiktas — Weghorst will join on loan from Burnley.

“Final step needed, Besiktas will only approve the deal if they find the right replacement.”
However, it appears Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr has aided United and created a domino effect.
The Saudi club had to axe a foreign player to make room for the Portuguese star, and cut Vincent Aboubakar loose.
And Besiktas are now in talks with attacker Aboubakar to be the replacement for Weghorst, according to The Atheltic.

Weghorst, who appeared to say goodbye to the Besiktas fans after scoring at the weekend, has bagged nine goals in 18 appearances so far this season.
He will bring a more direct approach to the United attack, with Ten Hag currently relying on Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as his main forwards.
If a deal for Weghorst does fall through, the Red Devils have also been linked with moves for Edin Dzeko and Olivier Giroud.
Red Devils manager Erik ten hag has been warned on the deal as having “too many Dutch people” is “dangerous”.
Former Dutch international Marco van Basten told Ziggo Sport: “It can become dangerous if you have too many Dutch people and things are not going well.
“You also saw that at Barcelona, when they had five Dutch people. Then it will work against you.
“Ten Hag has to be careful with that.”
The club currently have Dutch stars Tyrell Malacia and Donny van de Beek and have been continuously linked with Barcelona midfielder Frenki de Jong. More

However, Marco van Basten has warned United and Ten Hag that adding to their Dutch core may be detrimental.
Speaking to Ziggo Sport, Van Basten said: “It can become dangerous if you have too many Dutch people and things are not going well.
“You also saw that at Barcelona, when they had five Dutch people. Then it will work against you. Ten Hag has to be careful with that.”

Weghorst’s prospective transfer hinges on whether Besiktas will allow him to terminate his loan from Burnley with them early to then move back on loan to United.
But the legendary forward voiced his “doubts” over whether he was the right fit for the club, and earmarked PSV star Luuk de Jong instead.
He added: “I have my doubts. Take a look at Luuk de Jong. That is really a striker that you can play through the air.
“I don’t think Weghorst is very strong in that regard. He can score a header, but he is more of a boy who can do something with his enthusiasm and force.”

United have been linked with big names such as Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane, but they are understood to be after a short-term solution in January before moving for more ideal targets in the summer.
Van Basten is not the only Dutch star to have cast a shadow on the move.
Wesley Sneijder revealed he thought reports of a move were a joke.
He said: “I think they’ve seen the trick with the free-kick (vs Argentina at the World Cup), so they don’t fall for that in England anymore.
“In terms of a striker, is he really someone United are waiting for? I don’t think so.
“They still have 300 of those in the Premier League. It must be a stunt. This really can’t be true.”

Barcelona ‘ready to sell three stars including Man Utd transfer target Ansu Fati… but make two players untouchable’

CASH-STRAPPED Barcelona are reportedly ready to have a firesale of stars as they look to balance the books. The club spent a combined figure of around £150m to bring in Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde in the summer.

And in order to do this, they were forced to take drastic measures such as selling a 25 per cent stake of their in-house production company, as well as ten per cent of their TV rights for the next 25 years.
To ensure they don’t end up in the same situation this summer, the club are willing to consider the sale of a number of big name players.
Brazil international winger Raphinha is one of them, with the club hoping to recoup the £55m they paid to sign him from Leeds.
Ferran Torres is also reportedly allowed to leave for the right price, having joined from Man City for £55m two years ago.

And perhaps most surprisingly, the club are said to be prepared to listen to offers for 20-year-old Ansu Fati.
Fati was previously a top target for Man Utd, with the club reportedly agreeing a £135m deal to sign him in 2020 before Barca pulled the plug.
Such was the high regard that the Spain starlet was held in, that the club handed him Lionel Messi’s number ten shirt following the World Cup winner’s departure.
But journalist Jose Alvarez told El Chiringuito that Barca have not been satisfied with the performances of Fati and the two other players and could consider an offer in order to keep Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele.

Alvarez’s report labelled the 34-year-old Pole and World Cup finalist Dembele as the club’s only “untouchables” in the coming two transfer windows.
Lewandowski has been in fine form since joining Barca, netting 18 goals in 20 games.
And despite a disastrous performance which saw him hauled off before half time for France in the World Cup final, Dembele’s exploits for Barcelona have been much improved under Xavi.

Man Utd and Arsenal legend Robin van Persie’s son Shaqueel, 16, set for international debut after Holland U17s call-up

LEGENDARY Dutch striker Robin van Persie left a very distinct legacy behind on the pitch, but it seems the Van Persie name could soon be making a return to the headlines. This is because Van Persie’s son, Shaqueel, has just earned his first call-up to the Netherlands’ Under-17 team.

Shaqueel, 16, has followed in his father’s footsteps as a striker and seems to have inherited his scoring instincts.
His first international call-up come’s with a record 16 goals in 13 Feyenoord U17 games this season – the club where “RVP” retired.
And his development has been overseen by none other than his Dad.
Arsenal and Man Utd legend Van Persie moved into the youth coaching set-up at the club following his retirement, where it appears to have paid dividends to the family.

Now Van Persie works as assistant to head coach Arne Slot, but was spotted dining with Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag last month.
In May of this year, Shaqueel was rewarded with a contract with Feyenoord, with Van Persie senior tweeting: “Congrats Shaq 🤩🔥.”
Despite his call-up to the Oranje, Shaqueel could yet choose to play for Morocco due to the background of mum, Bouchra.
But for now at least, Holland is he who he will be representing on the international stage – perhaps with a long-term goal to try and eclipse his Dad’s tally of 50 international goals.

Despite an injury-hit time at Arsenal, he still struck 132 goals for the Gunners before swapping the red of North London for the red of Manchester in 2012.
The moved proved to be a stroke of genius for both him and Man Utd as they picked up the title with Van Persie scoring 26 goals and adding a further 15 assists.

Man Utd Treble winner looks unrecognisable with long hair and beard after retiring and opening up a pizzeria

MANCHESTER UNITED’S famous Treble-winning triumph from the 1998-99 season will go down as one of the club’s greatest ever achievements.Sir Alex Ferguson led his Red Devils to the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in a remarkable fortnight nearly 24 years ago.

He now looks totally different – here he is with fellow ex-Man Utd player Mikael SilvestreCredit: Instagram @jesperblomqvistofficial
The names that immediately spring to mind from that side are the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Teddy Sheringham, David Beckham, Roy Keane and Paul Scholes.
But one man who many may have forgotten is Swedish midfielder Jesper Blomqvist.
He made 25 Premier League appearances in that momentous season and also collected an FA Cup winners medal despite being an unused substitute in the final.
Blomqvist then started the Champions League final against Bayern Munich before being taken off for Teddy Sheringham – who would go on to score the equalising goal.
Shortly after United’s European triumph Blomqvist suffered a serious knee injury and never played for the club again.
And Man Utd fans may find it incredibly difficult to recognise him these days as he looks completely different to when he was gracing the Old Trafford pitch more than two decades ago.
Blomqvist is rocking a ponytail, beard, and does not possess the vibrant blonde hair he once had as a player.
What’s more, after a brief attempt at management, he has now found a new passion as he runs his own pizzeria.

He now has his own pizzeria having gone into the industry after a brief stint managing in football
Speaking to The Telegraph about his new life previously, he said: “I have to say it is tough when people ask me in the beginning, ‘What are you doing?’ And I say, ‘I have a pizzeria’. It was tough that people look down at you.
“Then I have to explain it’s the best pizzeria! Now I don’t care. People seem to be saying, ‘Are you down there? Have you lost all your money?’ I couldn’t care less.
“I can understand it and feel it myself. It’s not a problem. It’s just me who has to work with myself. Footballers have been very spoiled. It’s very easy to lose perspective and to get carried away and this money can destroy players.
“It’s the way it is, you have to learn to handle it and it’s difficult. I am so happy I was brought up in the north of Sweden where you keep your feet on the ground and you have to work hard.”
Blomqvist, 48, also explained why he decided to pack in management after just two years – where he coached Swedish sides Enkoping and Hammarby IF.
“Putting the team in front and not taking into consideration the human being behind the player – for me, that was the toughest challenge,” he added.

“I tend to look more at the human being. Ferguson was good at that. When it comes to winning games you can’t care about the human being.
“You have to be ruthless and sometimes I missed that. That’s my nature and it is hard to change.”
