He joined fellow loanee Wout Weghorst, who arrived from Burnley, and goalkeeper Jack Butland, who is on loan from Crystal Palace.
Sabizter’s deal did not include an obligation to buy.
However, the Austrian has allegedly been told by ESPN “there is still a chance he could earn a long-term contract” at Old Trafford.
They state that boss Erik ten Hag “is hopeful the possibility of securing permanent moves” for both Sabitzer and Weghorst “will act as incentives” for the pair.

Sabitzer joined Bayern in the summer of 2021 from RB Leipzig, but has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot.
He has made just seven league starts this season, the last of which came against Borussia Dortmund in October, before his switch to United.
The ace is under contract at Bayern until 2025.
Sabizter impressed on his first start for his new club in the 2-2 draw with Leeds on Wednesday.

And he looks set to keep his place for the Red Devils when they travel to Elland Road to take on the same opposition on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Weghorst, 30, has featured seven times already for United since his arrival from Burnley.
But the Dutch international has found goals hard to come by, scoring just once so far for Ten Hag’s side.
And he looks set to be left out of the Sunday’s clash after his latest underwhelming display – which could scupper his hopes of earning a permanent contract. More

High-flying Newcastle are one of the teams who have been monitoring the former Belgium Under-17 international.
But they could face competition for his services from United, according to the Daily Mail.
They claim the Red Devils have “posted their interest” in signing the teenager – who Antwerp have slapped a £20million price tag on.
Their scouts are said to have been following him closely and impressed by what they have seen.

Vermeeren turned 18 this week and marked his birthday by inking a new deal with Antwerp.
His new contract expires in the summer of 2026.
Shortly after the announcement of his new deal, he wrote on Instagram: “Here to stay.”
Antwerp boss Mark van Bommel has been thoroughly impressed by Vermeeren and reckons he deserves a call-up to the Belgium national team.

He said: “The whole club is very happy with Arthur. From the first training session, I knew he would do minutes.
“He is doing well, he is playing top matches every week. His development is going well.
“Vermeeren at the Devils? This is a question for the new national coach.
“I think he would not be out of place. It could go quickly with him, but you shouldn’t put pressure on him.
“I’m not saying that he has to be taken back. But it can be done.
“So far, Arthur has adapted without problems at every stage.”

Antwerp skipper and former Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld has also been impressed by Vermeeren.
The defender said: “He arrived in the team by force of circumstance, but since then he has learned very quickly.

How much Man Utd would have to pay for 18-year-old Wayne Rooney in today’s transfer market

MANCHESTER UNITED made a big investment when they signed a young Wayne Rooney from Everton in 2004.The Red Devils forked out nearly £30million for the 18-year-old Everton striker, but in today’s market, he would have set the club back a considerably higher fee.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire and Jason Laws from the University of Liverpool have created an inflation calculator that can figure out the current prices of players from the past.
Maguire has explained how the process works on Twitter, he said: “It’s based on total revenues generated by PL each season.
“On basis that spending (either on wages or transfer fees) is linked to the ability to pay and therefore income generated by clubs, so reflects the inflation from higher ticket prices, TV deals etc.”
And through this process, it has been suggested that with inflation Manchester United would have had to pay a massive £118m to acquire the Everton prodigy.

This fee would have made Rooney the most expensive teenager in the world up until 2017 when Kylian Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco.
The French star cost the Ligue 1 giants £147m.
However, despite the massive fee, it can be claimed that Rooney proved to be a brilliant investment for the Red Devils.
The Englishman went on to help the club win five Premier League titles as well as one FA Cup, three League Cups, one Champions League and one Europa League Cup.

And he became the club’s all-time leading scorer with 253 goals, as well as providing 145 assists for his team-mates.
Rooney admitted that he forced the move to Manchester United, despite Chelsea willing to pay more money for him.
The striker initially wanted to stay at Everton, but insisted that if he was to leave, it would only be for Old Trafford.
He told Tony Bellew’s BBC Podcast in 2021: “I was getting pushed to go and play for Chelsea because they offered the most money, but I said ‘you’re not dictating where I go – I want to go to Manchester United’.
“It was lost money for Everton, but that’s where I wanted to play. I didn’t want to go to London, I didn’t want to go to Chelsea. But I got told the only way you’re going to Man Utd is if you put a transfer request in.
“This was in Moyesy’s office. So I went into the canteen and wrote ‘I Wayne Rooney request a transfer from Everton Football Club’ on a napkin, or something! Walked back into Moyesy’s office and said ‘there you go’.
“I felt I got backed into a corner to a certain extent, but that’s football.” More

It was the first time Ten Hag had spoken to Greenwood, 21, since taking over as United boss last summer.
All previous contact with the club, which suspended Greenwood after his arrest in January 2022, had been through a third party.
Earlier this month we revealed how the Crown Prosecution Service had withdrawn charges of attempted rape, actual bodily harm and coercive or controlling behaviour.
It came after 12 witnesses, including the woman at the centre of the allegations, refused to co-operate.

Greenwood is still unable to play for United or train while the Red Devils  carry out an internal probe.
But a source said: “Mason has spent a long time with very little — if any — contact from the club. As and when they were in touch, it was never direct and always through a third party. So for the manager to call him  was a big step for him and one he really appreciated.
“The manager enquired how he was feeling physically and mentally and said he was pleased the charges had been dropped.
“He thought it was the right thing to do to get in touch with Mason.

“But he was clear it will be the club rather than him which will decide if Mason can play for United again.”
They continued: “Mason’s spirits were lifted by it. He has been at United since he was six and just wants to get back to playing football for them.
“He is happiest with a ball at his feet and wants to get his career back on track.
“But he knows the club has a massive decision to make.”
Greenwood, who earns around £100,000-a-week, is still contracted to United until 2025.
Prior to his arrest, he was valued at around £50million and regarded as one of European football’s hottest young talents.
But Manchester United’s women’s players reportedly don’t want him to return to the club.
According to reports in The Athletic, “the feeling is strong” amongst the team that Greenwood should be let go.
This feeling is reportedly even shared amongst his teammates in the men’s dressing room, who are not all in favour of having him back.
Fans are also said to be uncertain of welcoming Greenwood back to the club despite charges being dropped.
Some have even demanded that he be released from his contract.
He first kicked a ball competitively aged five when  dad Andrew, 53, took him to local youth club Idle Juniors FC.
He made his debut after his sixth birthday, scoring ten goals.
United’s academy scouts offered him a place at  their development centre in Halifax, West Yorks.
Greenwood was pictured with Red Devils legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who would later become his manager, at United’s Cliff training ground.
In 2018 then manager Jose Mourinho picked the 16-year-old for a pre-season US tour.
A few months later he signed his first pro contract for £800 a week.
The talented striker made his first team debut in March 2019. Prior to his arrest, Greenwood was valued at  £50million.
He last played  on January 22, 2022 in a 1-0 Premier League win  against West Ham.
Greenwood has made 129 appearances for United, scoring 35 goals and winning one England cap.
Following his arrest he was dropped from a multi-million pound boot deal by Nike.
    Read More on The Sun
And EA Sports also removed him from the popular FIFA 22 video game.
Earlier this week Nike said it had no plans to work with Greenwood while United bosses are believed to be sounding out sponsors for their views on whether he could play again. More

Man Utd and Arsenal transfer blow as Barcelona president rules out Ansu Fati exit as interest confirmed

But Barcelona president Joan Laporta has poured cold water on any chances of the forward leaving in the summer.
Laporta said: “We are not thinking of selling Ansu Fati as of now, he’s loved here, then I cannot predict the future.”
He added: “His agent told us there are clubs keen on signing Ansu Fati yes.”
“It is clear that he wants to succeed here at Barca.”
The summer arrivals of Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski along with Fati’s recovery from a long term injury have seen him given limited chances to impress.
The La Masia product has made 20 appearances in LaLiga this season scoring three goals as Xavi’s men lead Real Madrid by seven points.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano had previously reported that Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool were the Premier League clubs tracking Fati’s situation for this summer.
The Spaniard, who inherited the No10 shirt when Lionel Messi departed for PSG, is a versatile forward who can play in a number of positions across the front line.

Despite the Catalan giants pulling multiple financial levers they are still in deep financial trouble.
Fati has a £898million release clause in his contract but a big offer from any potential suitors could tempt Barcelona to cash in to ease their financial woes. More

Man Utd boss Ten Hag admits he is open to change in football just days after reviled European Super League re-emerged

ERIK TEN HAG says he is open to change in football after the controversial European Super League reared its head again this week. The potential of a breakaway movement caused fan outrage when Manchester United joined a number of other top English and European clubs in a proposed new league.

That was quickly shelved due to the objections but this week further plans emerged with a competition involving 60-80 teams with promotion and relegation rather than the original closed shop 20.
While Ten Hag was not talking about any specific proposal he said he would look at any new ideas.
United boss Ten Hag said: “I think the current structure is good but there will always be initiatives to make it better, to make the football better and that is what life is.
“People always want to construct better, which is a good thing because if it is in favour of the football, it is always good.

“I’m aware of the dynamic of what’s going on in sections but if I see they’re coming up with new ideas I have to have a look at it and I will make an opinion.”
Ten Hag admits that ultimately any decision will be taken out of managers’ hands.

Ten Hag would, however, certainly oppose any change that clogged the fixture list up any further.
He believes this season’s schedule, which has included a World Cup in November and December, is now having a knock-on effect on players.

The PSG star slammed Weghorst following Argentina’s victory over Holland at the World Cup.
Despite Messi’s team progressing to the semi-finals, tempers flared at the end of the contest and the legend was left far from happy.
And in his post-match interview, with Weghorst walking close to the camera, Messi furiously told him to clear off.
He said: “Who are you looking at, stupid? Go ahead, you stupid.”

And Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez, who’s a team-mate of both, has made a little fun out of the situation.
According to SPORT, he now calls Weghorst “Bobo” which means fool or idiot in Spanish.
But things aren’t exactly going great for the Dutchman on the pitch.
He recently scored his first Manchester United goal in the Carabao Cup tie with Nottingham Forest.

Weghorst failed to hit the net once more against Leeds on Wednesday and was hauled off around the hour mark for the third game running. More

Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham in huge David Raya transfer boost as keeper rejects new Brentford deal

SPANISH star David Raya has revealed that he has rejected a contract extension at Brentford. The 27-year-old goalkeeper’s deal runs out in West London in June 2024 and his displays have attracted huge interest.

Raya, who arrived at the Bees in 2019 and helped them to win promotion from the Championship two years later, is on the wishlists of Premier League rivals Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea.
He is currently trying to help Brentford, who sit seventh in the top-flight ahead of Saturday’s trip to leaders Arsenal, qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
And he says that is his main focus at the moment despite entering the final 18 months of his deal.
Raya, who previously played for Blackburn, told PA: “I don’t think it’s the right time to sign a contract at the moment.

“I’m really, really happy and right now I’m just thinking about doing the best for the team and trying to push for Europe.
“I was offered a new contract last year and one in January but we didn’t reach an agreement. I would like to see what happens in summer, however I’m happy at Brentford.
“For now a new contract is secondary, the most important thing is the team and the games. We’ll see where we are in May.
“You never know what’s around the corner. There’s nothing I can say about what’s going to happen in the summer. I don’t even know what’s going to happen on Saturday.”

When quizzed about the reported clubs keen on him, Raya replied: “I’m not sure if it’s interest, people talking or my name being thrown around.

“It’s always going to be home – no matter what. I’m in one of the happiest times of my career. I’m a happy guy, you will never see me moaning. Football is my life, so I do what I love.
“The manager has done a magnificent job with the team. He doesn’t want any egos.
“He makes everybody part of the Brentford family. You want to play for him and do what he’s telling you to do. If you see the results, you can’t say no. He’s set a foundation of trust. Everyone trusts each other.” More
