Harry Kane ‘is in contact with European giants over sensational summer transfer’ in huge Man Utd blow

HARRY KANE is still in discussions to join Bayern Munich according to reports in Germany.Journalist Christian Falk claimed on Bild’s transfer podcast that the interest between Kane and Bayern is both “concrete” and “mutual”.

He went on to claim that Bayern have been speaking with Kane’s family around the logistics of relocating to Bavaria.
Falk says that the feeling coming out of Kane’s camp is that the striker is “still thinking” about a move to the Bundesliga.
Bayern have retained an interest in Kane since the end of the season but faced competition from Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However Daniel Levy’s firm £100million price tag has seen both United and Madrid cool their interest in Kane.

United have limited funds available until their takeover is cleared, much to the frustration of manager Erik Ten Hag.
They are unwilling to spend £100m on a 29-year-old that has a year left on his contract.
Madrid meanwhile would struggle to raise the necessary funds having signed Bellingham in a British record £115m deal.
Whether Bayern could afford to stump-up the £100m asking price remains to be seen but Spurs would be tempted to sell to a team outside the Premier League.

The temptation will be particularly strong given Kane will be able to decide his own club next summer when his contract expires.
Bayern are in the market for a striker having failed to replace Robert Lewandoswki after he left for Barcelona last year.
One way in which they could fund the costly deal would be through player sales.
Thomas Tuchel is prepared to let a number of high-profile players go as he enters his first full season in charge.
Benjamin Pavard, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Sadio Mane are all reportedly transfer listed. More

The Glazers have been fielding bids for majority and minority stakes in Old Trafford since November, with their valuation standing at a mammoth £6billion.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of two main frontrunners, is looking to seek majority control by a slim margin.
While on the other side, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani wants 100 per cent control as he plots a stunning investment.
The case against Greenwood was discontinued because of a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light.

It meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction, the Crown Prosecution Service said in February, adding that it had a duty to keep cases under continuous review.
It comes as The Sun revealed manager Erik ten Hag is willing to bring Greenwood back into his squad.
And most of his team-mates at Old Trafford would welcome him back into the dressing room if the club agrees. More

According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Diallo is hoping for a chance in the first team at Manchester United next season.
However it is said that if Erik ten Hag would prefer the 20-year-old go back out on loan then he would like to return to the North East with Sunderland.

Rasmus Hojlund and Victor Osimhen have also been suggested as options for ten Hag’s side, but both will demand huge transfer fees from the current clubs. More

Man Utd are guilty of RUINING English football and turning Prem into a circus… the future is dark, says former star

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Paul Parker has launched a scathing attack against his former club as part of a wider criticism of modern football.Parker, 59, won two Premier Leagues, an FA Cup and a community shield during his 142 appearances for the Red Devils.

But he says he worries for the state of the modern game, with the influx of money at all levels “ruining football”.
Parker says he particularly worries about academy players being exposed to massive wages at a young age.
He said to Betting Expert: “The Premier League has become a circus division because it’s all about money. This circus division is slowly killing our game and the circus division has taken anything good away from our football.
“There was a time, many years ago, when players signed for Man United because it was Manchester United. Today players are signing for Man United because of… Yeah, god knows how many million they can earn.

“That’s why Man United are also guilty when it comes to ruining football in this country. They are not the only guilty club but they are not innocent.”
Parker began his career in 1980 when academy players completed something closer to an apprenticeship than being fully-fledged professionals.
Most players would have to clean the first team’s boots and complete duties around the training ground and stadium.
But now we are seeing players as young as 16 earning tens of thousands a week.

Tottenham for example last week changed their academy’s wage structure in order to hold onto 15-year-old starlet Mikey Moore.
But Parker says that kids are ultimately the victims of earning massive contracts at such a young age.
He said: “Kids are growing up now and they get the wrong picture of football. They think it’s a sport that you start to play because you want to earn money.”
“They should start playing because they enjoy playing with their friends and want to achieve big things. Not because they want to fill their pockets.”
He also criticised the lack of competition in the Premier League now, saying the miracle of Leicester City’s title win is unlikely to ever happen again.
He said: “Leicester won the Premier League in 2016. Fantastic. I loved it. But do the Premier League want that to happen again? No! at all. Of course not.
“We don’t want underdogs anymore and everything has to be won by a very expensive franchise.”
Parker said when he was younger the league had more jeopardy, saying: “Back in the 1970´s when I was a kid, we saw some major surprises and people were celebrating it as hell because they had been nervous the whole week leading up to the game.

“It’s not like that anymore, and I can be very sad when thinking about it and I’m even more sad when I’m thinking about how we are that close to ruining football, which should be a meritocratic system, really.
“You should play to achieve something and do everything in your power to avoid something as well.” More

However, Erik ten Hag may look to change these odds by offering cash and TWO players in a deal.
According to the Daily Mail, United have enquired for Rice in recent days.

Elanga’s departure from Old Trafford would come after Zidane Iqbal confirmed he was leaving earlier today.
Reports broke on Tuesday of United accepting a bid worth just shy of £1m from FC Utrecht for the 20-year-old.
