Greenwood has not played for Man Utd since he was arrested in January last year.
He was later charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour, before the charges were dropped in February.
Utd have been conducting their own investigation into the allegations.
A decision on his future at the Red Devils is said to be imminent with the club set to make an announcement in the coming days.

Goldbridge has now weighed in on the matter, revealing his three-point plan.
The football pundit initially took to Twitter, asking fans how they would feel if Greenwood was brought back straight away.
Then, replying to his own tweet, he said: “Mine is a year loan is obviously the best choice.”
    He continued: “1. Doesn’t cause a s***storm.

“2. Doesn’t derail our season with media Greenwood obsession.
“3. The player can focus on returning to football away from the mental pressure of the media and fan backlash. Away games in particular.”
Goldbridge was speaking after Utd boss Erik ten Hag addressed the situation during United’s pre-season tour.
Manchester Evening News reported ten Hag was asked if he had spoken to Greenwood recently at the RIMAC Annex at the University of California San Diego on Saturday.
The Dutchman, 53, replied: “I said everything in New York. I don’t want to answer the question anymore because it’s not different.
“I’ve shared my opinion and I don’t want to repeat my opinion.”
Ahead of Utd’s friendly with Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium on July 22, Ten Hag was also questioned about Greenwood.
He told reporters: “On this, it’s a club decision and of course, I said my opinions but it’s a club decision and we have to accept that.”
And asked whether he would like to keep Greenwood at the club, the manager added: “I can’t say so much about it but I shared my opinion about it, so let’s see what’s going to happen.”
The striker’s future at Man Utd remains up in the air, but a decision is expected soon.

It is understood Ten Hag and the majority of the first team are willing to give Greenwood another chance, but a loan move abroad appears to be the most likely option.
United’s women’s team is also reported to have reservations, while sponsors are also concerned about being linked to the £75,000-a-week player. More

According to Florian Plettenberg, Man Utd “never lost their focus on Goretzka” who is “on the Premier League club’s list”.
The 28-year-old has insisted he wants to remain at the Bundesliga champs despite interest from United and also West Ham.
Goreztka told Sky Germany: ” I have no intention to leave Bayern. I love the club, I love the city, I love the fans.”
But ex-Chelsea boss Tuchel is said to prefer Joshua Kimmich and Konrad Laimer.

And Ten Hag hopes that could change the Germany international’s mind.
Sky Sports in Germany say Tuchel will happily sell Goretzka for around £43m, as they bid to fund their pursuit of Harry Kane.
United have already recruited a midfielder Mason Mount this summer from Chelsea for £60milllion.
Goretzka’s contract for the German club is set to run out in 2026 after signing a long-term contract back in 2021.

The midfielder joined Bayern back in 2019 and has since notched 34 goals and 35 assists across 179 appearances in all competitions for Bayern.
After undergoing surgery for a knee injury, he started in 22 Bundesliga matches last season.
But with the arrival of Laimer from RB Leipzig this summer and with emerging star Ryan Gravenberch pushing for a spot, Goretzka is no longer the main man in Tuchels starting XI.

Forgotten Man Utd transfer target who kept Cristiano Ronaldo out of team set to replace Kylian Mbappe at PSG

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are reportedly set to sign Manchester United transfer target Goncalo Ramos. The young striker shot to fame at the World Cup when he started ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal’s 6-1 victory over Switzerland.

It was the first time five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo hadn’t been picked for a major tournament fixture since 2008.
And Ramos, now 22, made the most of it as he netted a brilliant hat-trick in the last-16 clash – before keeping his spot for the shock quarter-final loss to Morocco.
United were instantly linked with for the Benfica star, especially given Ronaldo’s acrimonious departure a month earlier.
But he now seems destined for PSG, who are in need of a replacement for another global superstar, Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe is at loggerheads with the Parisians, and the club are desperate to sell this summer, with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Al-Hilal interested.
And, according to Fabrizio Romano, they already have Ramos lined up after agreeing a £69m fee with Benfica.
Ramos – who notched 27 goals and 12 assists for Benfica last season – has reportedly agreed a contract until 2028.
And the deal could be completed this week, along with the £43m capture of Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

PSG remain committed to getting Mbappe off their books with the forward looking to run down his deal, which would allow him to leave for nothing next summer.
The club believes the French superstar, 24, has an agreement to join Madrid for free next year.
PSG are trying to offload their big-money man after he refused to sign a new contract and rejected a world-record transfer to Saudi Arabia.
It is understood the Ligue 1 champions want around £215m for Mbappe, although few clubs in world football could afford that.
If no agreement can be reached in the next month, Mbappe faces the real threat of being exiled from the PSG squad. More

But the big-money signings of Mason Mount and Andre Onana have left United with just £13million of their £120million summer budget.
In order for Man United to comply with FFP rules and secure their top targets they will have to see out several players.
Time is not on their side with just under a month left until the transfer window closes.
Here we run through six players Manchester United could sell to raise funds.

Eric Bailly looks certain to leave United this summer after a failed loan spell in Marseille.
Bailly returned to Manchester this summer but was left out of Erik Ten Hag’s pre-season squad.
His time in England seems to be coming to an end with links to Al Nassr intensifying.
Another who’s future is up in the air is Dean Henderson who spent last season at Nottingham Forest on loan.

He was reportedly on his way back to Nottingham this season but talks have gone quiet as Forest target a new keeper.
Arsenal have reportedly agreed terms with Brentford number one David Raya – while their number two Matt Turner is being linked to Forest which could affect Henderson’s move.

United would need to make room in their midfield if they want to sign their top target Sofyan Amrabat.
Fred has been linked to Fulham and a few European clubs have shown interest but Galatasary looks the most likely destination.

With a year left on his contract United will be hoping to cash in on the Brazilian midfielder to help fund new arrivals.
Scott McTominay is another midfielder who could be shown the door before the end of this window.
West Ham have shown interest in the Scotland international as they continue their pursuit to find a Declan Rice replacement.
United have set their asking price at £40m for McTominay – he will bring in the most money compared to Fred and Donny van de Beek.

Brandon Williams and Donny van de Beek are unlikely to feature in Ten Hag’s plans this season.
Williams made a five minute cameo in his one appearance for United last season – against Burnley in their fourth-round Carabao Cup tie.
Van de Beek is another midfielder not getting regular game time and would benefit from a move away.

According to Fabrizio Romano Real Sociedad are the only club to approach United for the Dutch international.
The need to offload players is intensifying with a £75m deal for Atalanta forward Rasmus Holjand nearly over the line – the 20-year old will reportedly complete his medical today. More

Onana, 27, spent five years with Ten Hag at Ajax between 2017 and 2022 forming a strong bond and winning three Eredivisie titles and two KNVB Cups.

Mullin was taken to UC San Diego Health Hospital before being discharged shortly after but is unable to fly due to the nature of the injury.
McElhenney has offered his home for the striker to recover in with the forward expected to be able to fly two weeks from now.

Mullin’s injury caused controversy between Wrexham and United – with Parkinson being furious about the challenge by the young United goalkeeper.
Bishop was understood to be distraught about the injury he caused to Mullin and the subsequent comments by the Wrexham manager.
But after Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds called Bishop to personally apologise the matter is now considered closed between the two clubs. More
