Sao Paulo Civil Police are investigating the allegations of assault alongside Greater Manchester Police.
Cavallin accused the Brazilian star of physical aggression towards her on a number of occasions in bombshell claims.
But the Old Trafford outfit described any suggestion of a cover-up as “categorically false” on Wednesday.
A Manchester United statement said: “Any suggestion that the club covered-up these allegations is categorically false.”

On Monday, amid further claims, Antony said he “trusts ongoing police investigations” to reveal the “truth about my innocence”.
The star volunteered himself for interview in June.
Meanwhile, United has also said it will co-operate with any police inquiries.
Cavallin says she dated Brazil World Cup ace Antony, also 23, on and off for two years and lived with him in Amsterdam while he played for Ajax.

A total of four alleged attacks are described in a police report seen by respected sports news site ESPN.
One of these claims allegedly occurred at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Manchester on January 15.
Cavalli claims United dispatched a senior player support officer to the hotel that night.
But according to Brazilian media, United confirmed a member of staff arranged for a private doctor to visit Cavallin at Antony’s request.
However, the club denied that she was treated by any of the club’s medical staff, reports MailOnline.
Reports in Brazil said Utd made a statement: “It’s understood to be common for United’s welfare team to arrange for doctors to see partners and family members of players.
“The club insist that it was not aware of any of the allegations of assault against Antony until they appeared in the Brazilian media in June.”
On Monday evening, Antony issued a second statement on his Instagram profile
It read: “Out of respect for my fans, friends and family, I feel obliged to speak out publicly about the false accusations that I have been a victim of.
“From the beginning, I have treated this matter with seriousness and respect, providing the necessary clarifications to the police.
“The investigation is under judicial secrecy, and therefore I cannot make its contents public.
“However, I can calmly say that the accusations are false, and that the current evidence and the ones yet to be produced demonstrate my innocence.
“My relationship with Mrs. Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal insults from both sides, but I never committed any physical aggression.
“Each time, whether in testimony or in an interview, she presents a different version of the accusations.
“Therefore, I come to vehemently deny the accusations made and inform you that I remain at the entire disposal of the Brazilian authorities to clarify anything.
“I trust that ongoing police investigations will demonstrate the truth about my innocence.”
Previously, Utd said in a club statement: “Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the police are conducting enquiries.
“Pending further information, the club will be making no further comments.

“As a club, we are taking this matter seriously, with consideration of the impact of these allegations and subsequent reporting will have on survivors of abuse.”
United has been advised to proceed cautiously on the basis that police investigations are ongoing in both the UK and Brazil. More

The winger was then spotted walking out on crutches backstage at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
It was later revealed that the 21-year-old suffered a knee injury that he is currently recovering from.

It doesn’t appear like the Ivorian will be fit enough to come in to the first team and offer solutions to manager Erik ten Hag’s depleted attack any time soon.
This comes as Jadon Sancho’s future at Old Trafford was plunged into uncertainty following an explosive post on Twitter targeting Ten Hag.
The Dutch tactician claimed he left Sancho out of his squad that lost at Arsenal on Sunday because he didn’t perform at the required level during training.
The winger denied those claims on social media and claimed he has become a “scapegoat”.

Antony has also been accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin and domestic abuse campaigners urged the Manchester giants to ditch him.
Police in Manchester and Sao Paulo are investigating, while the winger was also dropped by Brazil for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru.
United issued the following statement: “Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the Police are conducting enquiries.

Man Utd are only club with transfer net spend of £1BILLION in 10 years but have little to show for it as top 20 revealed

MANCHESTER UNITED are the ONLY club in the global game to have spent more than £1BILLION net over the past decade.Since the appointment of Louis van Gaal in the summer of 2014, United’s net outlay, taking sales into account, stands at a staggering £1.2bn, with £524million of that having been splashed out SINCE the Covid pandemic of 2020.

Mason Mount also joined the Red Devils for £60mCredit: Getty
The arrivals of Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Andre Onana this summer for a total of £164m has only extended United’s stratospheric spending policy over the past decade.
But Chelsea’s astonishing three transfer windows since the arrival of Todd Boehly, with a net spend of £558m in 2023 ALONE and £880m over the period, means the Blues are now second in the global list.
According to statisticians at the Swiss-based International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), the remarkable excesses of the Prem over the past 10 seasons have been laid bare.
Of the top 10 net spenders, seven are Prem sides – with Arsenal, whose capture of Declan Rice from West Ham has taken their net outlay to £747m in fourth, Manchester City (£733m) fifth, Newcastle (£575m) sixth, Spurs (£522m) eighth and West Ham (£451) 10th.

The Prem sides – Liverpool, in 12th with a net spend of £426m are actually behind Aston Villa) are only rivalled by third-placed PSG (£870m), Barcelona (£568m) and AC Milan (£467m).
It stands in stark contrast with Portuguese giants Benfica, who have MADE £655m from their transfer dealings, or Ajax, £372m to the good.
United don’t seem to have got much for that £1.2bn, mind you.
Five managers, 54 players – in addition to the pay-outs for sacked bosses – have all added up to the Europa league, one FA Cup and two League Cup wins.

It is an astonishing, almost inconceivable sum, further evidence that normal ideas of business sense DO go out of the window when football is the business.
The worry is that United are not the odd one out in the spend, spend, spend Prem.
They are just the top of a very big pile.
Just look, briefly, at some of the players who cost United in excess of £50m.
    Angel Di Maria. Huge flop.
Anthony Martial. Loaned out once, now back but set for a bench role.
    Paul Pogba. An expensive disaster.
    Romelu Lukaku. Nightmare.
    Fred. Yes, Fred. Really.
Harry Maguire. Only there under sufferance.
Jadon Sancho. On the naughty step and seemingly on his way out.
Antony. Facing huge questions over off-field allegations.
And that’s before there has been time to judge Hojlund, Mount and Onana.

Of course, there have been some successes, too. New skipper Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Raphael Varane among them.
But far, far, too many who have failed. And we have not even touched on Alexis Sanchez, Donny van der Beek or Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Prem clubs are wealthier than the vast majority of their European counterparts.
According to financiers Deloitte, the Prem’s Big Six were ALL in the top 10 global wealth-generators in 2022, with West Ham, the now-relegated duo of Leicester and Leeds, cash-strapped Everton and Newcastle in the next ten.
Toon’s spending spree since the arrival of their Saudi overlords has certainly paid off with Champions League qualification.
Arsenal fans are not complaining at the net spend of £464m since the Covid pandemic, especially after record £105m signing Rice scored that late winner against United on Sunday.
Likewise, basking in last season’s Treble, there will not be too many Manchester City supporters decrying the club’s Abu Dhabi leadership for splashing out a net sum of £733m in the past decade – although interestingly, as their rivals have dug deeper and deeper, “only” £104m over the past four years.

City also broke the bank in 2021 when they signed Jack Grealish for £100mCredit: Getty
Romelu Lukaku has been sold for a combined £285m across his careerCredit: Getty Images – Getty
But Chelsea supporters may look at the remarkable past three windows since the arrival of Boehly at the helm to replace Roman Abramovich and question whether it has actually left them with a better squad than the US tycoon inherited.
They have now allowed Romelu Lukaku to leave the club on FIVE different occasions across two contracted spells, for a paper loss of £86m before his wages are even added to the equation.

It is not asking Prem sides to be Benfica, Ajax, Salzburg or Monaco, all more than £350m in the black over the same decade.
But surely, surely, something must start to change, and change quickly. It cannot go on.

Echoing his first statement published in June, Antony added that his relationship with Gabriela was “tumultuous” but claims it never resulted in violence.
“I trust that ongoing police investigations will demonstrate the truth about my innocence,” he wrote on Instagram.
In the latest instalment of harrowing WhatsApp texts, Gabriela revealed more allegedly violent altercations with the Premier League ace.
“He pulled my hair, hit my head on the car window, pushed me,” Gabriela told reputable Brazilian news outlet G1.

A first screenshot dated January 15 allegedly shows Antony reportedly asking to end the relationship, followed by Gabriela’s reply saying he allegedly “completely injured” her.
“But you completely injured me and said those things, broke my stuff,” Gabriela wrote.
“Nobody can change or do anything after what happened but it seems like you don’t even care.”
The texts go on to show Antony’s alleged reply, reading: “There’s also stuff that really hurt me, you know?

“Because I want you to stay close so we can start over and carry on with the good things we have together
“I also told you nice things in person and I apologised for everything.
“I’m regretful since my first mistake with you.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United today broke its silence with a statement saying it was “taking this matter seriously”.
The club has come under growing pressure following its bungled U-turn over reinstating Mason Greenwood to the squad.
Until today it had not publicly acknowledged the allegations facing Antony, who was axed from Brazil’s national squad ahead of this month’s two World Cup qualifiers.
Rachel Riley was one of the main figures to blast United after previously taking a stand against the club over Greenwood.
The Countdown presenter, 37, called for domestic abuse experts to be involved in Man United’s “club processes”.
Rachel’s intervention comes after she was also outspoken against United reintegrating Greenwood into the squad before his move to Getafe.
She claimed that the club were “green-lighting abuse” with their apparent support for the player – and vowed to stop supporting the Red Devils if they allowed the forward to return.
The Countdown co-host and Man United fan also reacted to the allegations against Antony after his ex shared new texts and pictures apparently detailing her claims.
It comes after cops in Sao Paulo and Manchester have launched inquiries into Antony’s allegations.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed on Monday night they are “aware” of accusations against Antony, 23.
Antony’s current girlfriend and mother of his child, Rosilene Silva, was also spotted leaving their Cheshire home with a single suitcase just hours after the winger was dropped by his home country team.
Gabriela Cavallin says she dated the World Cup star on and off for two years and lived with him in Amsterdam while he played for Ajax.

Gabriela also claims the first assault came at a nightclub in São Paulo last July when she was around 17 weeks pregnant with his baby.
The Sun Online has approached Manchester United, Antony’s representatives and Gabriela Cavallin’s lawyers for comment.

Palhinha flew to Germany to complete his medical but the deal collapsed with hours to spare.
According to the Athletic, this has opened the door for United boss Erik ten Hag to swoop for the Fulham star in January’s transfer window.
The report claims the Dutchman was impressed with Palhinha’s performances against United last season and that the 28-year-old was keen on the idea of a move too.
United were hoping to make the make room in their squad by selling Scott McTominay to Bayern.

Harriet Robson, who has a baby with the footballer, was seen smiling in the sunshine in a photo shared on her Instagram.
Earlier today, Getafe were slammed as “tone deaf” with the striker filmed signing autographs and greeting fans ahead of his launch.
Greenwood was seen posing for snaps with kids and signing their shirts and footballs in a clip which Getafe posted on Twitter.
One fan had already got his hands on a replica of Greenwood’s number 12 shirt, which he wore back-to-front as he hugged the striker.
But the club’s enthusiastic welcome for Greenwood has been widely slammed on social media.
Popular account Out of Context Football Manager tweeted: “Getafe have to be the most tone deaf club I’ve ever seen in my life. Read the room.”
Earlier today Greenwood trained for the first time with his new club Getafe – more than 18 months since his last game for Manchester United.
The Spanish club announced the deal just minutes before the summer transfer window deadline arrived on Friday.
United will receive no loan fee and will cover the majority of his £75,000-a-week wage during his time in Spain.
A club statement added: “The move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United.
“The club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.”
But the young forward may not make his debut until September 17, when Getafe host Osasuna.
Getafe also posted a snap on Twitter of Greenwood holding up the club’s blue home strip yesterday.
It was captioned “Mason Greenwood ya esta aqui” – which means “Mason Greenwood is here”.
It comes after United announced that Greenwood had “mutually agreed” to leave the club following an internal probe into his arrest.

According to The Athletic, the United hierarchy advised the Dutch boss to promote from within instead of recruiting Reguilion in response to Luke Shaw’s injury.
The report claims Ten Hag “wanted a replacement with Premier League experience.”
Despite this, the United chiefs advocated for youngster Alvaro Fernandez to get a chance for first-team play.
Shaw’s injury meant the Manchester United boss was desperate to find a first-choice left-back replacement.

Reguilion’s arrival will bolster Ten Hag’s options for the early part of this Premier League campaign.
The 20-year-old had a remarkable season at Preston North End on loan last year.
As a natural left-back, he would have surely been keen to fill in for Shaw and Malacia.
Ten Hag’s insistence sent Fernandez on a loan late into the window with La Liga side Granada.
