The German club are insisting United increase their offer of £61million to £78m, with a further £10m in add-ons, but this is expected to happen.
And Dortmund have told United they must complete the transfer by July 23, when the Bundesliga giants head off on their pre-season training camp.
Sancho last night confirmed United’s players have been speaking to him on England duty about a move to Old Trafford.
He said: “Of course, all the boys have a lot of questions. When you do well, speculation is always going to come around.
“I just tell the boys, ‘look, I’m focused on football at the moment’ and we just focus on the Euros, step by step.”
Speaking to talkSPORT, Sancho was asked if he could be distracted by the move during the Euros.
He said: “No, I’m cool about it. It’s just how you handle that on the pitch, so just keep doing what you’re doing.
“If you keep doing that then I’m sure it won’t be a problem because the main thing is my football and that’s what I’m focused on at the moment.”
BETTING SPECIAL – GET ENGLAND TO WIN EURO 2020 AND HARRY KANE TO BE TOP SCORER AT 18/1
Man Utd’s biggest transfers ever, both in and out, including Ronaldo
United expect the deal to go through smoothly after a summer of wrangling last year when they refused to meet Dortmund’s £110m price.
United decided to dedicate their efforts to getting the 21–year-old rather than a drawn out pursuit of Erling Haaland.
The Old Trafford club spoke to Haaland and his representatives.
But the striker, also at Dortmund, made it clear he has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid.
Unfortunately for him, their financial problems could rule him out of a move to the Spaniards.
Chelsea are prepared to match the £154.5m price for the 20-year-old Leeds-born goal machine.
Manchester City are also interested and can match the price tag.
The English champions are badly in need of a striker with Sergio Aguero having now left.

Man Utd open talks with Paul Pogba over new contract after incredible turnaround following Raiola quit claims

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly ready to hand Paul Pogba a new contract with just a year left to run on his current deal. The Frenchman hit good form for the Red Devils in 2020-21 despite numerous claims that he was ready to quit the club.

Mino Raiola even stated ‘it’s over’ for his client in December, sparking a fresh feud between the agent and United.
The player distanced himself from the prospect of a move amid links with Real Madrid and Juventus.
According to Sky Sports, Old Trafford bosses have contacted Pogba’s representatives to discuss a new contract.
The 28-year-old is free to negotiate a pre-agreed free transfer to a club outside of England from the start of next year, unless a renewal can be agreed.
Since becoming the club’s £89million record signing, Pogba has remained on the same terms for the entirety of his five-year stay after an automatic 12-month extension was triggered last year.
A number of United managers failed to get full value for money out of the academy product but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has enjoyed success in deploying him on the left flank of a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Pogba’s affinity with the spectacular earned a number of key wins as he hit often-stunning goals past West Ham, Burnley, AC Milan and Fulham.
So far, he has won only a League Cup and Europa League in Manchester and is out to add the Euros to his World Cup honours with France.

If United are unable to agree a new deal, speculation could rise again that he may leave with one potential destination thought to be Juventus, who he joined after running down his Old Trafford contract in 2012.
A swap deal for Cristiano Ronaldo has even been mooted in the Italian media.
Meanwhile, United have reportedly moved a step closer to finally signing Jadon Sancho after agreeing personal terms with the winger.

Man Utd revive transfer interest in Kieran Trippier with Solskjaer ‘unhappy’ with Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s attacking output

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly in the hunt for Kieran Trippier as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to improve his options at right-back.Aaron Wan-Bissaka was the only natural option for the position throughout the 2020-21 season and the Red Devils manager is said to have reservations about relying on the 23-year-old.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants an alternative to Aaron Wan-BissakaCredit: AP
According to Manchester Evening News, the incumbent’s offensive output disappointed Solskjaer.
The stats do not favour Wan-Bissaka, who has long been seen as a primarily defensive player.
For example, fellow full-back Luke Shaw completed more than half his tally of key passes (72 to 31) and contributed one more assist (five to four) in the recent Premier League campaign.
Therefore United are reportedly looking at Trippier as a signing who could offer something different and help break defences down.
Atletico Madrid signed the 30-year-old from Tottenham two years ago and he was a regular in the Spaniards’ LaLiga title win.
But he is out of contract in 2022 and a fee well below the £20million that Atleti paid for him is thought to be enough to tempt a sale.

It is said that Manchester-born Trippier is already making arrangements to return to England and be closer to his family.
And interest in his services could increase if he stars for England at Euro 2020.
On Wednesday, the ex-Manchester City defender showed his versatility by switching to the left side of defence for the 1-0 win over Austria.
Trippier recently played down any talk of leaving Madrid and expressed his delight at making the squad despite fears he would be forgotten while playing abroad.
He said: “I’m enjoying myself so much out there.
“I’m just fully focused on doing the best I can for my club. I’m absolutely delighted I won the title out there.
I’m enjoying myself, loving it, my family are enjoying it, there’s sunshine every single day.Kieran Trippier

“People might not focus on me as much because I’m out there in Spain, the Premier League is the Premier League.
“But I’m enjoying myself, loving it, my family are enjoying it, there’s sunshine every single day so I just need to keep doing as well as I can for Atletico.
“I’m delighted I’ve done that and now I’m part of England. I know Gareth watches the games along with his staff.
“So for me it’s just about doing as well as I can at the highest level to try to be selected for as long as I can with the national team.”

Man Utd legend Gary Pallister on how to use England heartache as motivation after missing out on two tournament squads

SIX England stars will be left devastated today when Gareth Southgate names his final squad for the European Championships. The 33-man squad will be cut to 26, and Mason Greenwood has already being ruled out as he is struggling with an underlying injury.
Former Manchester United and England star Gary Pallister has urged those players who are cut from the squad to prove a pointCredit: Getty
But six others will be joining the Manchester United ace on the sidelines to watch Harry Kane and co do it on TV.
But those who miss out have been urged to make a statement and prove Gareth Southgate wrong by one player who knows all about international disappointment.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Pallister never featured for the Three Lions in a major tournament despite getting 22 caps and playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
In 1988 Pallister was involved with Middlesbrough in the play-offs which meant he missed the chance to impress in England’s warm-up games for the Euros.
He was never in contention for Bobby Robson’s 1990 World Cup squad or Graham Taylor’s Euro 1992 selection.
But Pallister was a shoe-in for the 1994 World Cup – the only problem being England failed to qualify for the tournament.
Cruelly, injury ruled out the centre-half from Euro 1996.
Those cut from Southgate’s final list today will more-than-likely have the chance to feature again in a major tournament – and Pallister is urging them to prove a point.

Speaking exclusively to SunSport, Pallister, 55, said: “It’s very difficult for players. There was Gazza who obviously he had that meltdown when Glenn [Hoddle] cut him from the squad.
“It’s difficult. But it can only make you stronger.
“You have got to take from that that you haven’t made the cut and you want to make sure the next time it comes around you do make the cut.
“You can either use it as a negative or a positive.
“You can sit and wallow in the disappointment of it or you can say ‘right I will use this as a gee me up for the next time to get into a squad and I will make sure I’m not left out’.
“It is difficult but it is how you use that event in your life.”
BETTING SPECIAL – GET ENGLAND TO WIN EURO 2020 AND HARRY KANE TO BE TOP SCORER AT 22/1
Gary Pallister gave nine years of blood and thunder service with Manchester UnitedCredit: Getty
Pallister was a defensive bedrock alongside another player overlooked by England – Steve Bruce – for United between 1989 and 1998.
In fact he did hold the record for the most consecutive minutes played by an outfield player at the club – until Harry Maguire beat it.
Pallister, who retired in July 2001 at the age of 36, started and finished 71 games in a row between November 1993 and May 1995.
He was subbed off on the hour mark in the 72nd.
Maguire matched that game number and the 79 minutes he played in the 3-1 win against Aston Villa on May 9 before coming off injured saw him beat the record.
Now, providing he overcomes an ankle ligament injury, Maguire will be doing something his predecessor Pallister never managed – featuring in that famous white shirt at a major tournament.

Man Utd star Jesse Lingard ‘set to miss out on England’s Euro 2020 squad’ despite glittering West Ham loan spell

JESSE LINGARD is reportedly set to miss out on England’s final Euro 2020 squad despite a stunning end to the season. The winger was farmed out by Manchester United on loan to West Ham – and the move gave his career the perfect shot in the arm.

Lingard was the Hammers’ star man in the final few weeks, but according to The Athletic, will not make Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad.
The 28-year-old scored nine goals in 16 games for David Moyes’ side, bagging five assists along the way.
West Ham finished in sixth spot, meaning they will play in the Europa League next season.
But seemingly Lingard’s fine form hasn’t done enough to convince Southgate that he merits a spot.
The Athletic adds: “It is thought that Lingard will not be included in the final party for this summer’s tournament.”
West Ham are believed to be keen to sign Lingard permanently, with Arsenal believed to be long-term admirers.
He has played for his country 27 times, scoring four goals. Lingard has 12 months on his contract at United
Lingard’s expected omission follows the shock announcement that fellow Manchester United star Mason Greenwood has WITHDRAWN from the Euro 2020 squad.

Man Utd given Raphael Varane transfer boost as Real Madrid complete David Alaba signing but French star focused on Euros

RAPHAEL VARANE has insisted his focus is on France’s bid to win the Euros amid talk of a move to Manchester United. The Red Devils are strongly linked with the Real Madrid star as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his defence.
David Alaba’s move to Real Madrid could open the door to Raphael Varane’s exitCredit: Getty
A number of factors are at play in Varane’s future, starting with his contract situation.
With his deal up in 12 months’ time, Real are reportedly ready to cash in if he refuses to commit his future this summer.
According to ABC, United and Premier League rivals Chelsea can double his current £100,000-a-week wages should he become available.
And Madrid would expect a transfer fee of around £60million having already reinforced their backline.
Any movement in the 28-year-old’s future is not likely anytime soon with him determined to focus on France’s Euro 2020 campaign.
He told reporters: “This is not the time to talk about my future, I am focused on the call-up, on this European Championship.
“It is normal and logical to ask the question and for my part it is normal and logical to focus on the upcoming deadlines.
“We are all human beings. We can think about it. As for my individual case, I am focused on the objectives that we have in the France team.

“It is not a subject that I will discuss every day in my room at Clairefontaine.
“I am focused on my goal, and now is not the time to discuss it. If I have to talk about it, it will be directly with the people concerned.”
David Alaba has signed on the dotted line to move from Bayern Munich as a free agent which could serve as a replacement for Varane.
Also potentially key to his future is Sergio Ramos’ contract situation, with the Real defender’s deal up next month.

Whoever replaces Zinedine Zidane in the Bernabeu dugout may have an impact on Varane, too.
Following the French coach’s exit, Castilla boss and club legend Raul, Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte are among the options for the role.
Another star of France’s Euros bid is also on United’s radar in Jules Kounde.
The Sevilla star has already opened the door to a move with a number of Prem rivals also keen – but Liverpool are not among them having already landed Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

England’s Harry Maguire ‘confident of making the European Championships’ as Man Utd star battles ankle ligament injury

The 28-year-old had been ever-present for Manchester United in the Premier League until he suffered ankle ligament damage against Aston Villa – ruling him out of the run-in.
The Red Devils’ form crumbled in his absence and he watched from the stands as his team lost Wednesday’s Europa League final.
Following the defeat in Gdansk, United have increased their communication with the England setup and national team staff checked in with Maguire on Friday.
According to the Mail, his progress is looking good and there is confidence that he will be fit for June 13.
United are reportedly set to meet Maguire again on Monday for a fresh check-up, with the results once again beamed to Gareth Southgate’s physios.
The England boss had voiced his concerns when naming his preliminary Euros squad that the club had kept the defender’s condition a secret.
He said before the Europa League final: “At this moment in time, Harry might play tomorrow or he might be out for two months I just don’t know.
“We had an initial assessment, which was positive in terms of the tournament, but there was always a little bit more swelling and further investigation needed.

Man Utd’s top four transfer targets this summer revealed as Solskjaer plots moves starting with Villarreal’s Pau Torres

MANCHESTER UNITED will reportedly hunt down four star players for a potentially huge summer of transfer activity.Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane, Declan Rice and Pau Torres are all said to be on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s radar – which was formulated before the Red Devils’ Europa League final defeat.

Villarreal defender Torres was one of the Spanish side’s unlikely penalty shootout heroes and is being eyed for a place alongside Harry Maguire in the United defence.
According to The Guardian, the 24-year-old would be the cheapest of the quartet of targets.
Solskjaer is described as being aware that the prospect of signing all four players is unlikely, particularly given the fees involved.
But Torres could come as cheap as £26million, less than half the fee required for Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
Villarreal club president Fernando Roig recently opened the door to a deal and told El Transistor that a deal can be done: “If they arrive with the money and the player wants to move.”
He added: “But there must be an agreement between all three parties.”

Sancho, 21, is described as the most likely of the quartet to arrive with Borussia Dortmund cutting the winger’s price tag with just two years left to run on his contract.
Tempting Tottenham or West Ham into a deal for Kane or Rice will prove much harder.
Daniel Levy is expected to want as much as £200m for the striker, 27, after Kane outlined plans to discuss his future with the club.

While West Ham will also likely demand a nine-figure fee for midfielder Rice ahead of their Europa League campaign.
Solskjaer is said to want new signings in all four positions this summer to build a Premier League title bid.
Should any of his top targets be unavailable, his focus will reportedly move on to alternative targets.
