      Erik ten Hag insists on being ‘100% involved’ in Man Utd transfers and contracts as he strives to build ‘perfect’ squad

      INCOMING Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reportedly plans to be “100 percent” involved in the club’s transfer business. The Ajax gaffer, 52, is inching ever closer to being named the next permanent manager of Manchester United.

      Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Ten Hag is determined to oversee all matters transfer related if he is appointed as boss.
      He has personally requested from United chiefs to be “100 percent involved in present and future transfers”, and therefore the overall policy at the club.
      Ten Hag has insisted on overseeing all incomings and outgoings, as well as contract renewals.

      Pickford held a long-range effort from Paul Pogba with 10 minutes left and his boys in blue put their bodies on the line to prevent him from having to deal with any other efforts until stoppage-time.

      MANCHESTER UNITED hero Robin van Persie has reportedly turned down the offer to be part of Erik ten Hag’s coaching staff at the club.Ten Hag, who is inching towards being named manager, wanted fellow Dutchman Van Persie as part of his backroom staff.

      Reports last month suggested Ten Hag is eager to appoint a coach with Manchester United connections if he gets the job, with Van Persie fitting the bill.
      But the 38-year-old has now rejected the chance to head back to Old Trafford, according to ESPN via Soccer News.
      The news comes as a blow to Ten Hag, before he has even been confirmed as the next Manchester United boss.
      Van Persie is understood to be happy with his current position at Dutch outfit Feyenoord, another of his former clubs.
