And his agent, Mino Raiola is said to have told senior members of the United hierarchy his client will sign a deal, but ONLY if it’s worth a staggering half a million per week, according to the Daily Star.
Should United agree to Pogba’s demands, it would make him the highest paid player in the club’s history.
The Daily Star also claim that PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus have all been informed how much it would cost to secure his signature.
Incredibly, with image rights included to that base wage Pogba could net somewhere in the region of £800,000-a-week.
Pogba and Raiola are aware that his next move will probably be the last lucrative deal he is likely to be offered.
The Red Devils signed the midfielder for a club-record fee of £90million in 2016.
But during his time with the Premier League giants he is yet to win a league title, with only EFL Cup and the Europa League winners’ medals to his name.
This season, Pogba was slow out the traps as he struggled for form earlier in the campaign.
However, since the turn of the year his performances have improved – and he recently captained the team in the quarter-final Europa League win over Granada.

And manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could thank former United star Darren Fletcher for his upturn in fortunes.
The ex-Scotland international was brought into the senior side’s coaching set-up back in January to lend his experience to United’s current crop of midfielders.
As The Sun reported, Fletcher has helped the Frenchman improve the defensive side of his game.

Jose Mourinho insists he ‘couldn’t care less’ after Man Utd star Paul Pogba’s slammed his management style

JOSE MOURINHO insists he ‘couldn’t care less’ about Paul Pogba’s criticism of his management style. The French midfielder hit out at his former manager and suggested he ‘goes against his players’ unlike current Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He also revealed details of the ‘strange relationship’ he had with the Portuguese during his time in charge of the Red Devils between 2016 and 2018.
Pogba and Mourinho had a famous training ground clash in 2018 after the United boss thought Pogba had been laughing at the club’s defeat to Derby.
And Pogba has revealed it is tough to explain his relationship with the Tottenham boss even now.
However, when asked after Tottenham’s 2-2 draw at Everton about the ex-Juventus star’s remarks, the Spurs chief said: “I would like to say that I couldn’t care less what he said.
“I couldn’t care less – not interested at all.”
World Cup winner Pogba had told Sky Sports: “What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn’t go against the players.
“Maybe Ole wouldn’t pick them, but it’s not like he puts them on the side like they don’t exist anymore. That’s the difference between Mourinho and Ole.
“Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don’t know what happened.
Pogba said he felt Moutinho goes against his own playersCredit: EPA
“That’s the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don’t know.
“Maybe [Solskjaer’s methods work] because he is a bit closer to the people.
“Every coach has their own way to coach and deal with players, and as a player you have to adapt. Sometimes it doesn’t suit you and sometimes it does.”
The 28-year-old also laughed at Mourinho’s distraction tactics after United’s victory at Spurs last week.
After the game the ex-Chelsea and Porto boss hit out at Solskjaer for saying he wouldn’t feed his son if he went down like Son Heung-min did after Scott McTominay’s hand brushed his face.
The Portuguse said he is glad Son’s dad is a better father than Ole.
But many accused Mourinho of vintage tactics used solely to distract the public away from his side’s pathetic collapse – throwing away a 1-0 half-time lead to lose 3-1.
And asked for his thoughts on the post-game reaction, Pogba added: “I don’t know what happened, I’m sure Mourinho said something that would make people speak, that’s what he does.

“We got the result we wanted, Ole knows it and we enjoyed that moment because we know Mourinho and we know what he likes. We don’t need this [war of words], we just focus on us.
“We won the game, he lost the game and he doesn’t want to speak about the game, he wants to speak about the dad of someone, that’s what he does.
“Everybody knows him, it’s very Mourinho.”

Burnley star McNeil’s joy at seeing childhood pal Greenwood blossoming at Man Utd… despite own disappointment at 14

THERE was a time Dwight McNeil and Mason Greenwood would fight it out in the cages at Manchester United’s training ground. Now the old friends have both been unleashed on the Premier League and their teams go head-to-head at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Burnley winger McNeil, 21, had dreams of making the grade with his boyhood club — but his time with the Red Devils ended in disappointment, aged 14.
The Rochdale-born star is not surprised by the progress of pal Greenwood, 18, at United as he pushes for a spot in England’s Euros squad.
McNeil, a doubt for the clash after picking up a knock, said: “The main thing was training in the cage at night.
“It was all a bit of fun, really, just playing games in this small area. But it improved me as a player in tight areas.
“Mason was younger than me but he played up with us. He was always good with both feet — you could tell with Mason at a young age.
“I know Mason personally and he’s a good man as well as a very good player. Sometimes I see him face-to-face on the odd occasion but on social media I speak to him.
“It’s great that we’ve both achieved our  dream to play in the Premier League and,  obviously, Mason is doing so well at United and I’m really happy for him.
“Every time he’s playing at the moment he’s doing well.
“He’s had some criticism but I know what kind of guy he is. Mason’s a good guy and he’s come back scoring goals so I’m happy for him.”
McNeil was the United-mad kid who grew up wanting to be the next Ryan Giggs.

Old Trafford icon Giggs enjoyed a remarkable, trophy-laden career which ended with him racking up a club-record 963 appearances.
So although the Burnley winger’s dad Matt was a footballer,  it was Giggs who a young Dwight  modelled his game on.
And he still has the shirt to prove it round at his parents’ house.
McNeil admitted: “I think there’s one at  my Mum and Dad’s place. I used to watch everything Giggs did as a youngster. Direct dribbles past people, crosses, goals, leadership,  I just lapped it up.”
McNeil had a dream to become a United winger just like his hero — but he suffered heartache after his folks broke the news he would not be kept on.
He explained: “I was 14 and still at school. As a young kid it’s a hard one to take, especially when it’s your boyhood club and the one you grew up supporting.
“But my parents still believed in me. We had a chat and all decided that the best thing was to come here and give it a go.
Greenwood was a star at youth level for UnitedCredit: Instagram @masongreenwood
“I look back now at being released by United and I wouldn’t have thought back then that I’d have all this experience under my belt by this age.
“It was a hard one to take when I left but then I came here to Burnley and haven’t looked back since.
“It just gave me that desire and determination to become a professional footballer elsewhere.
“It made me focused on becoming a professional footballer. And hopefully, looking back on it, I’ve proved some people wrong.”
If McNeil carries on like this, then surely his chance to shine with one of the big guns will come one day.
Yet he dampened down the  speculation — for now at least — by signing a new long-term contract at Turf Moor in October.
With the Clarets seemingly on course to beat the drop again, he said: “The gaffer calls it ‘outside noise’ and we didn’t hear anything.

“It was a simple answer for me and the family to sign a new contract with the club.
“I had a talk with my Dad and my family and we came to the conclusion that the best decision, the right decision, was to sign another contract.
“Right now for me  it’s about playing for Burnley. I have loved the club since I’ve been here and I know the manager and the lads so well.”

Paul Pogba admits Man Utd boss Solskjaer was right to sub him and claims Granada stars were trying to get him sent off

PAUL POGBA was hooked at half-time by Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to avoid a costly Europa League ban.Donny van de Beek replaced the star amid the threat of a red card as United booked their semi-final spot against Roma.

Pogba, 28, was cautioned in the 17th minute for an elbow on Granada’s German Sanchez.
And soon after United captain Pogba fouled Manchester City loanee Yangel Herrera.
Old Trafford legend Paul Scholes said: “Ole should have brought him off after the second one.
“But it would have been embarrassing to bring the captain off after half an hour.”
And after the game, Pogba himself admitted being withdrawn at the break was the right decision.
The 2018 World Cup winner said: “There were some tackles, yellow cards, we had a bit of everything.
“I had to come off. This yellow card was unfortunate.
“For me it wasn’t a yellow card but you have to accept it.

“I think it was a foul against me.
“I got a yellow card and we won the game and that is the most important thing.”
When asked if the Granada players were deliberately trying to get him sent off, Pogba added: “For sure.
“The foul just after I saw all the players trying to get me out.
“I think that’s when the manager saw it as well that it’s better I come off before I get a red card and I can put my team in difficulties.”
Edinson Cavani and a Jesus Vallejo own goal sealed the victory for United who will now face Roma in the semi-final.

Man Utd hopeful Marcus Rashford will be fit for Burnley clash after not risking him vs Granada, confirms Solskjaer

MANCHESTER UNITED are hopeful Marcus Rashford will be fit to face Burnley after missing the Europa League win over Granada. The England forward, 23, was left on the bench for Thursday night’s 2-0 semi-final win.

And after the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Rashford missed the game – which United won 2-0 to seal a 4-0 aggregate victory – with a knock and was only named on the bench in case of emergency.
All eyes will now turn to Sunday’s Premier League game at home to Burnley, with Solskjaer admitting Rashford could miss out.
Immediately after beating Granada, Solskjaer said: “We hope [Rashford] is going to be ready [to face Burnley].
“Today was about not risking him.
“He was on the bench just in case because you never know in a knockout tie.
“He’s been playing with a sore foot.
“I don’t know [if he’ll be ready] yet.”
With Rashford on the bench, Edinson Cavani settled United fans’ nerves with his sixth-minute volley to make it 3-0 on aggregate.

And the score stayed that way until Jesus Vallejo scored a last-minute own goal to completely kill off the game.
Man Utd will now prepare for Sunday’s 4pm kick-off at Old Trafford.
But they may be forced to do so without Rashford – who is United’s second-top scorer in the league this season with ten goals.
Only Bruno Fernandes (16) has more, with Rashford also laying on seven assists in the top-flight this term, second again only to his Portuguese team-mate.
United sit second in the Premier League table with seven games to play, trailing leaders Manchester City by 11 points, albeit with a game in hand.

Harry Kane in same position as I was and ‘no surprise’ if Man Utd transfer target leaves Spurs, says Dimitar Berbatov

HARRY KANE can be forgiven for considering his future at Tottenham with Manchester United claimed to be interested, according to Dimitar Berbatov. In recent weeks, numerous reports have claimed the England captain, 27, is considering his future at Spurs in a bid to finally win some silverware.

Although SunSport understands Tottenham chiefs hope their £175MILLION valuation will put any potential suitors off.
But Kane is rapidly approaching his prime years and with Spurs again out of the Premier League title race and Europa League, the Carabao Cup is his only chance of silverware in 2020-21.
And Berbatov – who played for both Spurs and Man Utd – can relate to Kane’s conundrum having lived through the exact same problem.
The ex-forward quit Tottenham after just two years to move to Old Trafford in 2008 having helped them win the League Cup in his final season, still their most-recent major trophy.
In four years at United, Berbatov won two Premier League titles, one League Cup, two Community Shields, the Club World Cup and reached one Champions League final.
On Kane’s dilemma, Berbatov told Betfair: “According to reports, he will look to leave Spurs if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.
“This isn’t a surprise. I don’t know if it will happen, but Kane is clearly thinking about his future.
“I can see why Kane would want to move if they don’t make the Champions League and if they don’t win the League Cup.
“I would not be surprised as of course he wants to play Champions League football. It depends on how Spurs finish the season.”

What every Tottenham player earns following Mourinho’s pay rant

Berbatov continued: “Kane is 27, he is at the prime age in his career, the next three years into his 30s he can hopefully keep playing.
“But time waits for no-one. He is in prime right now.
“Kane is captain of England and a huge player for Spurs.
“But it would be sad if he looks back in his career and has not been a Premier League champion at some point as he is one of the best strikers in the world.
“It’s a tough decision as he is in a great environment, with a great stadium, training ground and more.
“The only thing missing for him is trophies.”
Berbatov called on his own life experience, saying he understands the situation Kane is in having been there once before ahead of his own move from Spurs to Manchester United.

The Bulgarian continued: “I was Harry Kane at Tottenham once.
“I was in this position with the same decision and at the same club. There will be big thoughts going through his head.
“If he moves, he will be disappointing lots of Spurs fans. Some will turn against him, it is how it is in football.
“Fans take it personally and think that you are leaving, they feel that you’ve betrayed the club.
“My situation was similar, but also slightly different.
“I wanted to go to the biggest club to win trophies and that was Manchester United.
“When I heard there was a chance to go there, I did not hesitate.”

Berbatov concluded: “It depends on what your goals are in football…
“You might love a club and just want to play football and enjoy the game.
“Other players want trophies. Everyone is different, but it will depend on his personal motivations.
“If Kane called me I would tell him he has to make the right choice, decide on his personal ambitions and motivations.
“If he leaves, he will let some people down.
“It is his decision and it is going to be a difficult one.”

Man Utd in Raphael Varane ‘advanced’ transfer talks and Real Madrid are braced for defender’s exit

And according to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez, Varane is heading to Old Trafford.
He told El Chiringuito TV that United and Varane are in ‘advanced talks’ and that Real Madrid are preparing for his exit.
The Red Devils looked into signing the French centre-back three years ago but were told it would cost more than £100million.
Now, though, the 27-year-old has just over a year left on his contract and could be available for a much lower figure.
Madrid value him in the £60m bracket. But that figure is still likely to be viewed as high, particularly with the impact of coronavirus on the transfer market.
United legend Gary Neville said Varane should be the club’s No1 transfer target this summer.
The Sky Sports pundit and Salford City co-owner revealed his choice during a Twitter Q&A.

Neville was asked: “If you could bring one player from a rival this summer to Manchester United, who would it be?”
    And the 46-year-old replied: “Varane.”
Varane has been linked with a change of scene and a move to the Premier League with his Los Blancos contract up at the end of next season.
The 27-year-old is thought to be No1 on United’s wishlist but the likes of Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly have also been mentioned.
Neville revealed centre-back should be the club’s first port of call before looking at a striker and right winger.
