And he has 33 goal contributions to his name this term for the Red Devils having scored 20 times as well as providing 13 assists.
His stellar form is even more impressive considering his long-term injury battles, with ESPN stating he has not played a game pain-free in over two years.
They claim that the striker is managing shoulder and foot problems, but is determined to keep playing as he looks to compete at the delayed Euro 2020.
And the news outlets adds that Rashford will only consider having surgery after the conclusion of the European Championships in July.
Rashford – who missed 14 games last campaign with a back injury – pulled out of the Three Lions squad in March due to his foot trouble.
It is understood that his injury will be closely monitored until now and the end of the season with Gareth Southgate sweating over his fitness.
Despite his niggles, Rashford – who is fourth on the list of United’s most-used players this term – has started in seven out of the last nine games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And he could find himself yet again in the Norwegian’s line-up when United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday.

Solskjaer recently spoke of how the club are managing Rashford’s fitness after he lasted 85 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Leeds last week.
He said: “Marcus, yeah, we’ve managed him and we’ve had to manage him for quite a while actually.
“Of course last year with his back, then he had his shoulders, which he’s recovered really well from.
“And I feel he’s gone through the worst of this foot as well and he almost played a full game against Leeds.”

Edinson Cavani ‘set to make Man Utd transfer U-turn and STAY at club next season despite Boca Juniors interest’

EDINSON CAVANI has reportedly decided to STAY at Manchester United. The Uruguayan was unplayable as he helped himself to two goals and THREE assists in United’s 6-2 thrashing of Roma in the Europa League semi on Thursday.
Edinson Cavani is now reportedly set to STAY at UnitedCredit: AP
After a performance like that, it’s not surprising thoughts would turn to his future.
Cavani is yet to agree another year, with his deal up in the summer.
It was widely reported that the striker had his heart set on a move back to South America, with Boca Juniors leading the chase.
And his father claimed Cavani had been left angry and upset at an FA charge for using the word ‘negrito’ in a social media post, which the board accepted he had not meant in a racial tone.
But according to ESPN, the 34-year-old has made a U-turn and ‘decided to stay at United’.
The decision will reportedly be ‘announced next week’.
Uruguayan journalist Rodrigo Romano is even reporting the forward will agree a contract extension TODAY.
Cavani has impressed throughout the season after joining the Red Devils on a one-year contract in October.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been eager to tie him down to a 12-month contract extension.
Despite reports of his desire to leave Old Trafford, Solskjaer had not given up hope of persuading him to stay.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said: “Manchester United will do ‘everything they can’ to keep Edinson Cavani.
“The board and everyone in the club want Edi to stay – as they told him in last meeting. Solskjaer is pushing with the player.
“Cavani will communicate his decision after speaking with his family.”
It is believed Cavani has a deal worth £200,000-a-week on the table.

Man Utd 6 Roma 2: Cavani masterclass sees Solskjaer’s side with one foot in Europa League final as Roma collapse

MANCHESTER UNITED fans may never get the chance to thank Edinson Cavani, but they will not forget him.How fitting it would be if his last act in the famous red shirt would be to have the Europa League trophy in his hands, a winner yet again.
Edinson Cavani was simply superb in a stunning 6-2 victory over RomaCredit: AP
Two goals, two assists and a penalty won was his contribution as United came back from 2-1 down to win this Europa League semi-final first leg tie 6-2.
No wonder manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate for the 34-year-old legend of Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain to extend his stay by another season.
Unfortunately he wants a return to South America, but before that he wants a trophy for Manchester United – and with this win they are all but in the final.
The hope for maybe 2,000 United fans is that they can be there too and the chance to sing Cavani’s name may come.
For Solskjaer his semi-final hoodoo as boss looks to be over having lost his previous four over this season and last.
That first trophy he dreams of is in sight now too and he has the players to finish the job.
Bruno Fernandes was on the mark again with two goals of his own and two assists, while Paul Pogba, excellent on the night despite conceding a penalty, headed home number five before Mason Greenwood rounded things of with the sixth.
What a night it was as this United vintage tried to match that of 2006 who beat Roma 7-1 here in the Champions League quarter-finals.

United were in control of that game from the start, but not so this as they actually trailed 2-1 at the break.
It was a cracking first-half full of action and incident. Three goals scored and AS Roma forced into three substitutions due to injury, the first after just three minutes, including their goalkeeper.
Both Pogba and Cavani had been rested until the late stages of the goalless draw away to Leeds to keep them fresh for this game and they would combine to calve open Roma up for Fernandes to score the opener.
Luke Shaw was up supporting the attack as usual and when he slipped the ball to Pogba the French World Cup winner executed a superb turn that left three Roma players in his wake.

The Uruguayan was celebrating again when he netted his secondCredit: EPA
He found Cavani, whose touch just inside the area was perfect for Fernandes to latch onto and lift the ball over the advancing goalkeeper.
Advantage United but for only four minutes as Pogba undid his good work by handing the opposition a penalty.
Rick Karsdorp charged to the byline to get a cross in and Pogba slid in to block it, but his arm was high and the ball hit his hand.
David De Gea guessed the right way but Lorenzo Pellegrini’s spot-kick had too much power.
Mark Halsey’s viewPAUL POGBA can have no complaints after his first-half handball gifted Roma a penalty at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United midfielder’s arm was in an unnatural position when he blocked Rick Karsdorp’s cross.
Yes, Pogba was sliding in to stop the cross but the Frenchman made himself bigger with his arm in the air and Spanish referee Carlos del Cerro Grande correctly pointed to the spot.
VAR would have checked Pogba’s handball but it was not a clear and obvious error by the match official so the decision stood.
It was unnecessary for Pogba to slide into the challenge with his arm that high and his action saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side pegged back at 1-1.
Pogba’s handball would have been given in any competition in the world and had it happened in the Roma box then United would have been screaming for a penalty.

Shaken, but stirred back into action Pogba tried to make amends with a thumping long range that Pau Lopez saved at full stretch.
He landed on his shoulder, however, and looked to have dislocated it so had to be switched for Antonio Mirante.
Could United take advantage? Eh, well not immediately as Roma would take the lead through Edin Dzeko, poking the ball home from close range after a slick move from the visitors.
He likes it here. It was in October 2011 that he struck twice in that famous 6-1 win for Manchester City and he celebrated derby glory once more here with another brace in a 3-0 win in 2014.

United have a habit of playing games of two halves, the second invariably better than the first and so it proved again as they first drew level three minutes after the break.
Pogba found Cavani who exchanged passed with Fernandes before finishing superbly with a first time side-footed effort into the top right-hand corner.
He should have given them the lead five minutes later when Shaw teed him up only to sky a shot from ten yards.
But the top strikers just go again, and he did, and he scored again.
Mason Greenwood rounded off the scoring with United’s sixthCredit: AP
Aaron Wan Bissaka’s 64th-minute cross shot was spilled by the goalkeeper and Cavani’s poachers instincts had him in the right place at the right time to scoop home the loose ball.
He was not done, winning a penalty five minutes later after Smalling felled him near the byline.
Fernandes tucked the spot kick away and on 75 minutes provided the cross from Luke Shaw’s short corner for Pogba to head home and make it five.
Mason Greenwood came on to add number six latching onto a great ball from Cavani with the outside of his boot to fire home.
Book the plane to Gdansk, United are on their way.

JESSE LINGARD showed off his caring side by sending out mental health packages to his pals – before revealing his new ‘Be Yourself’ tattoo. The West Ham star – currently on-loan from Manchester United – has been open and honest with his own battles with mental health in recent months.

Earlier this month, Lingard, 28, opened up about his struggle to cope with his mum’s depression and how it affected him both on and off the pitch.
But the in-form midfielder is keen to make sure his family and friends are looked after by sending care packages to them.
Derby’s former Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe shared a picture of Lingard’s thoughtful gift on Instagram.
Earlier this year, Ibe revealed he was in a ‘dark place’ and was suffering from depression.
In the package are two self-help books and some incense – as well as a personalised note.
Sharing the picture with his 535,000 followers, Ibe captioned the snap: “I value the love that has been on view.
“All respect for the package my bro @jesselingard.”
Lingard also treated himself to a new tattoo, with the words ‘Be Yourself’ written on his bicep.

Good Vibes, Good Life: How Self-Love Is the Key to Unlocking Your Greatness is the No1 Sunday Times bestseller written by Vex King – and part of Lingard’s care package.
King’s father died when he was a baby, with his family often homeless or in troubled neighbourhoods.
But now the author is leading a revolution for the next generation of spiritual seekers.
The book encourages readers to join the self-love revolution, discover inspirational messages and universal wisdom to help you manifest positive vibes.

Tattoo artist Dale McGovern shared a picture of Lingard getting his new ink on Instagram, captioned: “Good to see my bro @jesselingard.”
In a separate post – a close-up of Lingard’s new body-art – McGovern added: “Fresh ink for the broski.”
Last week, Lingard told new YouTube show Presenting about how opening up to Man Utd about his mental health did him the world of good.
The 2018 World Cup star said: “I feel like I wasn’t Jesse Lingard.
“Even in football matches, I felt like the game was just passing me by, like I just didn’t want to be there – it was crazy.
“I could see myself playing but watching the game back I just think that’s not me, that’s not how I play.”

Lingard continued: “You go from the World Cup to some performances I’ve seen myself playing and something needed to change.
“I was going into games happy sitting on the bench and that’s not me. My mind wasn’t there, I wasn’t focused at all.
“I was thinking about other things and obviously bottling it all up trying to play football, you’re tense, you’re stressed and you can’t do it.
“I opened up to United and told them what I was going through, what my mum was going through and they’re always there to help.
“I’ve had doctors that have helped which has been brilliant and during the lockdown I got my head together.”

Supporters are divided over the shirts, as one fan tweeted: “Yes to the red; the dark blue is ok; no chance on the light blue.”

Man Utd star Luke Shaw determined to make up for FOUR cup final injury heartaches by winning Europa League this year

LUKE SHAW is determined to make up for his cup final heartaches by going all the way and winning the Europa League this year.Manchester United have been in four finals in Shaw’s time at the club but he has not even been in any of the squads.

The left-back missed the FA Cup triumph in 2016 and Europa League win in 2017 due to injury.
After falling out with Jose Mourinho the former boss left him out of both the triumphant 2017 Europa League squad that beat Ajax 2-0 in the final and the squad that lost the 2018 FA Cup final to Chelsea.
Things didn’t get much better last season when injury ruled him out of the semi-finals against Sevilla in the Europa League and Chelsea in the FA Cup.
But he will be one of the first names on the team sheet when United take on Roma in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.
He even made manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer raise his eyebrows when he announced in a press conference ahead of the game that he would be playing in this one.
Mind you the form he is in no manager in Europe would leave him out their team right now.
Shaw said: “Of course personally it is massive motivation, I’ve been quite unfortunate not to be involved in semi-finals and finals.
“So I’m looking forward to stepping out in one.

“In 2017 when we won the Europa League I was extremely happy for the players.
“But everyone will agree that when you are not involved and don’t have the kit on its not the same. I want to be playing.”
Indeed this will be the fifth semi-final under Solskjaer and they have failed in the previous four#
Flying full-back Shaw says this is providing the motivation as they prepare to face Serie A’s Roma.
He said: “First and foremost, no semi-final is easy, they are always tough games and we’ve just missed out on a few.
“We have had a lot of disappointment from that but we can use it as motivation, remembering the way we felt after them, we can reflect on that and put things right.”

Shaw is in the form of his life right now both defensively and in terms of creating chances down that left flank.
It is a long way from the dark days under Mourinho when his future at United looked bleak.
On why things have changed, Shaw said: “It’s a lot of things. One of them is the manager.
“I’ve changed a lot of things as well and I believe in myself more and I’m more confident.
“I am just enjoying playing football again and that is important for our job. you need to enjoy it

“This season has been my best, I’m enjoying it but I can keep getting better.
“The team is going in right direction and I want to be part of it.
“There is competition all over the squad and I want to keep improving and pushing to get trophies.”

How Man Utd could line up against Roma with Henderson in goal and three key players back after suspension

MANCHESTER UNITED host Roma in the Europa League semi-final first-leg on Thursday night.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now led his side to FIVE semi-finals in cup competitions, including last season’s Europa League defeat at the hands of Sevilla.
How Man Utd could line-up for Thursday night’s clash with Roma
But the Man Utd boss will be buoyed by the return of three key players from suspension as he aims to finally reach a cup final as a manager.
Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay all served a one-match ban for the quarter-final second-leg win over Granada.
And they are all likely to come straight back into the starting XI for Thursday evening’s game.
Shaw has been in sensational form this season and is even set to be offered a new contract.
And, more than 24 hours before kick-off, the England left-back appeared to confirm he had already been named in the starting XI ahead of Alex Telles.
On Wednesday, Shaw revealed: “I want to be playing and, luckily, tomorrow I am.”
Shaw will likely line-up alongside skipper Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in defence, with Dean Henderson keeping the gloves.
However, Eric Bailly is available for selection having not played since the last-16 first-leg draw with AC Milan on March 11 due to coronavirus.

Another way Solskjaer could line up his troops vs Roma

Further up the pitch, Solskjaer is likely to opt for experience, with a major European semi-final uncharted territory for many of the younger players.
McTominay is likely to start alongside Fred in the two deeper midfield roles, with Bruno Fernandes in the No10 role playing off Edinson Cavani.
On the wings, Marcus Rashford is fit following a foot injury and is likely to start on one of the flanks.
Paul Pogba – not for the first time this season in a crunch game – could be deployed out wide, where he has performed admirably.
However, Solskjaer could opt to go more attacking, dropping Pogba into Fred’s role, with one of Mason Greenwood or Daniel James taking over on the wing.
Man Utd host Roma in the Europa League semi-final first-leg on Thursday April 29, with kick-off 8pm.
