      He revealed one of the main motivations in his youth career was to please his dad.
      However, he could not hide how upset he was when he was told he would need to move to London when Hyde senior sealed a transfer down south.
      Speaking on Rising Ballers, Hyde, 24, confessed to being incredibly upset when he was told the news.
      He said: “I remember coming from school one day and I was loving it at Manchester City, I was feeling sick playing for Man City you’ve got the kit at home and that.

      “And I remember coming home from school one day and my dad was like ‘boys you got to move back down to London’. I just remember being gutted and crying.
      “The first thing I thought was ‘so what about Man City?’ Like I didn’t think about anything else and he (dad) was like ‘well you can’t play for Man City anymore, you will find another team down there, it’s fine’.
      “I think I didn’t even talk to my dad for about a day, I was so upset. I thought he was just standing on and crushing my dreams. But I’m a little boy, in hindsight it doesn’t matter.”
      Hyde then detailed how he and his family moved down to Essex while Hyde Sr. was playing for Peterborough.

      He was then snapped up by the West Ham Academy, where Hyde was excited to go due to them being a professional team.
      However, Hyde then revealed that there were some key differences between the two clubs, including what he felt was an entrenched favouritism towards specific players.
      Hyde continued: “I’ve gone to West Ham and I just remember it weren’t the same vibe as in Manchester.
      “Up north everyone was friendlier. Everyone was cool. Even though you were competing against each other it felt like you was part of a team.
      “When I got to West Ham straight away I realised some of these people are pricks.
      “But sometimes that’s how you got to be, sometimes you have to be selfish in football, which I learned later on, maybe too late.”
      Hyde continued: “Now I’m playing for West Ham, the first year was good.
      “[But] I realised very quickly, and I’ve heard people say it about other academies as well, in each age group the club definitely had their favourites. The people who they really want to push.

      “The rest of us – it felt like to me – were just there to build the team and supplement the players who they really want to push.
      “I remember being so young, like 11 or 12, and I was feeling it at the time like ‘this is not right, not everyone is getting a fair go’.
      “Back then when you play academy football it’s quarters so instead of playing halves you play four quarters.
      “I remember certain people will be playing three quarters, every weekend and I’m playing two quarters.
      “So my mum and dad were taking me to football on Sunday and i’m playing 40 minutes and I saw some people playing 60 minutes and I saw some people playing four quarters and I was not really fair.
      “In the end I just started slowly, slowly, slowly just really not wanting to be there and not wanting to go.
      “I don’t know if I was scared. I come out to my mum and dad and said I don’t want to go football.
      “I think I was scared of disappointing my dad but I didn’t want to be there and it reflected in my performances.”
      Hyde has long had a career in semi-pro football career, last appearing for Lewes, while also previously playing for the likes of Welling, Dartford, Hemel Hempstead and Dulwich Hamlet.

      But the PBA insisted there are NO grounds to overturn the result of the Misifts melee as they rejected his appeal.

      Gangs dubbed ‘Balcony Burglars’ targeting Premier League players’ homes as they hit mansions in just three minutes

      A GANG who burgled Jack Grealish’s home are believed to have carried out other raids on the home of Prem ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Love Island stars Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, The Sun can reveal. Cops looking into the robberies have dubbed them the “Balcony Burglars” after they used ladders to target balconies connected to the master bedrooms of each mansion.

      It has become the favoured method of access as they know jewellery, watches and designer handbags will all be close by, allowing them to spend less than three minutes inside the property. 
      A source said: “It doesn’t take a genius to work out that if there is a balcony overlooking the garden that is most likely to be the master suite. 
      “And if you find that, you’ll find a load of watches and chains and rings, along with electrical items and designer handbags. 
      “Most bedrooms have amazing walk-in wardrobes attached to them where handbags and jewellery is likely to be kept.

      Grealish’s home was targeted on December 27 as his family sat downstairs watching him play for City on the TV against Everton. 
      The gang made off with £1m of stuff and managed to get away despite cops arriving less than ten minutes after Jack’s partner Sasha Attwood and his family members triggered a panic alarm linked to cops. 
      Former Liverpool and Arsenal ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards were also robbed by a gang in September 2022 by a gang who used a ladder to access a bedroom at their £3.5m mansion in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

      The couple were home at the time and didn’t know they had been targeted until they discovered items of jewellery and handbags missing. 
      Love Island star Molly Mae Hague and boxer Tommy Fury also suffered a similar fate in October 2021 when raiders stole items worth £800,000 as she and Tommy were in London attending an event. 
      Speaking after the robbery, Molly, who is now a mum, said: “”It was without a doubt the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, to us, I’d probably say. It was just awful, horrendous, terrible.”
      Cops investigating the burglaries have appealed for information and are now looking into whether the three burglaries are linked.
      Newcastle star Joelinton’s mansion was also targeted by thieves on Saturday night.
      Joelinton was not home when the burglars broke in, and they are not thought to have entered through a balcony.
      The robbery is not linked to the break-ins by the “Balcony Burglars”. More

      The 2019 Love Islander admitted it was purely a money fight.
      But Fincham – who won the ITV reality show a year before Fury’s stint – insisted he would box KSI for nothing.
      He told BritishGambler.co.uk: “I’m not saying this to put it out there for loads of money; I’ll fight him for nothing.
      “I will fight him for free to prove the point.”

      Fury, 24, beat social media sensation Jake Paul, 26, last February by split-decision in Saudi Arabia.
      But his victory over KSI, 30, in November was for less convincing and the result divided opinions.
      Fincham, 31, said: “I’m just gonna say this honestly, because while in the boxing world he has transferred over to being professional.
      “I have a lot more experience than KSI, and going off his last performance and watching how Tommy dealt with that – I’ve got more experience than him as well from doing amateur fights as well.

      “I watched it and would have dealt with it so differently and would have beaten him [KSI] clearly.

      Idris Virgo, 30, is unbeaten and currently signed to KSI’s Misfits Boxing banner.
      And Fincham – who had 26 amateur bouts as a youngster – rated himself and Virgo above 10-0 Fury in terms of skill.
      He said: “Tommy’s third. I’d say for me the first is probably Idris Virgo for boxers that have been on Love Island. Idris first, me second and Tommy third.
      “That’s just me being honest and nothing against Tommy because I like him as a person, but boxing-wise, he’s good but he’s not out of this world. He’s just got a massive following; he’s a Fury at the end of the day.
      “He can box, he’s a good fighter, he’s strong, he’s in good shape, he dedicates himself but put it this way – he’s not unbeatable.
