But he will now take home £17m in each of his three seasons at Bayern.

Liverpool confident of Jude Bellingham transfer, Gareth Bale SIGNS for LAFC, Neymar to Juventus latest news

LIVERPOOL are confident Kalvin Phillips’ proposed move to Manchester City leaves them in pole position to land Jude Bellingham, SunSport can exclusively reveal. However there is still likely to be a tug-of-war between the Premier League’s big two to land the midfielder next summer.
Elsewhere Gareth Bale has confirmed that he will be joining MLS side Los Angeles FC.
And Juventus are reportedly keen on signing Neymar, with PSG needing to sell before Friday in order to avoid triggering a five-year contract extension worth £600,000-a-week.
Meanwhile, Bale’s former team Real Madrid have identified Premier League Golden Boot winner Son Heung-min as a potential target for next season.

    More on Neymar
Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are the only transfer options for Neymar this summer.
That’s as the Brazilian reportedly considers his future after being left fuming with Paris Saint-Germain chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
RMC Sport claims Neymar is thinking of leaving the French capital this summer, five years after his world record £200million move from Barcelona.
It’s reckoned he has just three viable destinations due to his £600,000-a-week wages.
Premier League trio United, Chelsea and Newcastle are the only teams with the money for a transfer.
Juventus have also been linked but the Brazilian is beyond their pay grade.
Neymar would be open to an English switch after turning 30 in February.
    Ten Hag budget plans
Erik ten Hag starts work on Monday facing an Old Trafford cash squeeze that threatens to hamper his re-building plans, exclusively writes SunSport’s Ken Lawrence.
The Dutchman still hopes to team up again with Frenkie de Jong as early as this week.
Manchester United believe they are now closing in on a £67million deal with Barcelona for the midfielder who spent 18 months working under Ten Hag’s former club Ajax.
But while CEO Richard Arnold told fans in a recent pub meeting that money was “not a consideration” in this summer’s transfer market, he will still not provide Ten Hag with an open cheque book.
    Neymar could make Prem switch
PSG star Neymar is being tipped to make a move to the Premier League next season.
That’s because only Man United, Chelsea, and Newcastle can afford to buy the Brazilian, according to RMC.
However, a move to the Prem could prove tricky as Neymar previously vowed to never join a club in the English top tier.
    West Ham ‘sign Alphonse Areola’
West Ham have agreed to sign goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Athletic are reporting Areola, 29, will join West Ham after the club activated the option to buy clause agreed in his initial loan.
SunSport reported on Friday the Frenchman was on the verge of a £10.5million move with just personal terms to iron out.
An official announcement is expected in the comings days.
He will join the club permanently after making 17 appearances on loan this season, mainly playing in cup competitions as the understudy to Polish veteran Lukasz Fabianski.
    Fulham set for Palhinha transfer
Fulham are hopeful of confirming the signing of Joao Palhinha in the next 72 hours.
After hijacking Wolves’ approach for the 26-year-old Sporting Lisbon midfielder, the Cottagers want to get a deal over the line as quickly as possible.
And SunSport understands that Palhinha will return from his holiday on Monday and head straight to west London with a view to completing the switch on a five-year deal.
This transfer saga began at the beginning of this month with Wolves confident they would nab Palhinha for around £20million after advanced talks.
However, Palhinha’s involvement in the Nations League with Portugal – as well as Wolves’ failing attempts to sell Ruben Neves – saw the move stall.
Fulham pounced, with boss Marco Silva speaking with Palhinha directly on the phone to convince him to snub Molineux for Craven Cottage.
    Inter ‘willing to sell Correa’
Inter Milan are willing to sell Arsenal transfer target Joaquin Correa, reports claim.
And he could end up at Newcastle who are the only club currently interested in the attacker, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
But Inter won’t let him go on the cheap as they know the Magpies have the cash to splash, the report adds.
The publication claim Correa’s been valued at £21.5m.
    Mane’s reason for leaving Liverpool
Sadio Mane didn’t leave Liverpool to join Bayern Munich for money, according to his Public Relations agent.
Mane’s PR rep, Bacary Cisse, told TV5Monde: “Those are false rumours. We didn’t want to talk about that.
“A player of Sadio’s caliber can’t be earning the salary that people are speaking about. The numbers circulating are completely wrong.
“Sadio was already earning more than that when he joined Liverpool from Southampton. He extended his contract in 2018 and his salary was much higher than the numbers circulating in the media.”
    Lingard to West Ham ‘complete’
Jesse Lingard is on the brink of returning to West Ham on a permanent basis.
Lingard spent the first half of last season on loan with the Hammers before returning to United.
But he’s now set to rejoin West Ham after becoming surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
And the winger’s move to East London will be completed next week, according to the Daily Mail.
    Real Madrid track Kimpembe
Real Madrid are reportedly tracking PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.
Kimpembe is said to be frustrated with the French giants for not handing him a new contract.
And Real are waiting in the wings to snap him up, according to Defensa Central.
Chelsea and Arsenal were linked with Kimpembe in the past.
    Bayern set Lewandowski fee
Bayern Munich will sell Robert Lewandowski for no less than £52m to Barcelona, according to reports.
Lewandowski’s keen to leave Bayern for the La Liga giants, and he’s set to complete the transfer next week, reports claim.
But Barca will have to cough up the exorbitant fee in order to land the Poland international, according to Sky Sports.
Chelsea are lurking in the shadows incase his move to Spain falls through.
    Inter ‘make push for Bremer’
Inter Milan will reportedly meet with Torino next week in order to try and buy in demand defender Gleison Bremer.
Bremer’s been courted by several Prem sides including Chelsea, Man United, Tottenham, and Arsenal.
However, Inter are moving ahead to try and seal his signature, according to Tuttosport.
The publication claims Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is set to jet to Torino to negotiate with their Serie A counterparts over Bremer.
    Burnley complete Twine transfer
Burnley have completed the signing of MK Dons star Scott Twine.
Twine has joined Burnley on a four-year contract from MK Dons, Sky Sports reported.
However, the amount Burnley have paid for Twine is yet to be revealed.
Twine’s arrival will be huge boost for Burnley as he was named the EFL Player of the Season in the last campaign, scoring 20 goals along with 13 assists.

Ousmane Demebele is reportedly unhappy with Chelsea’s contract offer.
And he’s considering remaining at Barcelona as a result of the Blues’ underwhelming proposition.
That’s according to Sport, who claim Chelsea’s simultaneous pursuit of Raheem Sterling has hampered the amount they could offer Dembele.
This could be good news for Man United who were previously linked with the winger.
    Lewandowski to Barcelona ‘nears completion’
Robert Lewandowski will complete his move to Barcelona this week, according to reports.
Bayern reportedly want £43m for the Poland international.
And Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi has held talks with both Barca and Bayern to ensure a deal gets done in the coming days, Sport reported.
The news will come as a blow to Chelsea who asked to be kept informed on Lewandowski’s future.
    Pogba’s Juventus transfer ‘finalised’
Paul Pogba is set to complete his Juventus transfer in July, according to Fabrizio Romano.
All paperwork is finalised between the parties with Juve agreeing to pay Pogba £6.8m annually plus add-ons, Romano said.
Romano tweeted: “Juventus have all paperworks ready to announce the comeback of Paul Pogba at the beginning of July.
“It’s done deal for salary around €8m net per season plus add-ons.”
    Ronaldo ‘offered to Roma’
Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Roma by agent Jorge Mendes, reports claim.
Ronaldo ostensibly wants to leave United, and Mendes has approached Roma to see if they will take the attacker, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, United will not let Ronaldo leave this summer, it was reported on Sunday.
    PSG ‘must sell Neymar soon’
PSG must sell Neymar by Friday or see his £600,000-a-week contract extend to 2027, according to reports.
The Brazilian penned a new deal in May last year, although PSG chiefs are now no longer sure that they want to move forward with the former Barcelona ace.
The world’s most expensive player is under contract until 2026, although it’s claimed that a clause in the deal will trigger an extra year on July 1.
That would mean PSG are committed to paying him another year of his £31.2m salary, until he was 35.
According to Sky Sports, PSG are looking for a buyer to take Neymar off their hands.
His £600k-a-week wages are putting potential suitors off, however.
    De Jong to United complete
Man United will complete the signing of Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong in the next few days, reports claim.
The Red Devils have agreed a fee around £68m for the midfielder, according to talkSPORT.
The report states the transfer will be wrapped up by June 30.
He will become United’s first signing of the summer thus far.
    Liverpool ‘confident of Bellingham transfer’
Liverpool are confident Kalvin Phillips’ proposed move to Manchester City leaves them in pole position to land Jude Bellingham.
However there is still likely to be a tug-of-war between the Premier League’s big two to land the midfielder next summer.
There is growing confidence at Anfield that Man City’s imminent £45million signing of Leeds ace Phillips means the Reds are favourites to sign Bellingham.
Klopp always planned to make a striker his marquee transfer this summer and has successfully landed Benfica’s Darwin Nunez for £85million to replace Sadio Mane.
Next summer’s plans are already being drawn up with Bellingham and another central midfielder top of their shopping list.
    Forest close in double swoop
Nottingham Forest are closing in on Liverpool’s Neco Williams and Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolves.
The £35million double swoop comes after they nabbed Union Berlin’s Taiwo Awoniyi in a club-record £17.2m move.
Right-back Williams favours Forest over a return to Fulham, where he spent four months on loan last season.
The Wales star, 21, is valued at £15m and Forest boss Steve Cooper wants him after on-loan Middlesbrough star Djed Spence started talking to other clubs.
The Premier League new-boys are also being encouraged to go for Gibbs-White, 22, who is due to give Wolves an answer on his future soon.
Forest could pay about £20m for the midfielder and Wanderers may reluctantly accept.
    United rule out Ronaldo transfer
Furious Man United chiefs have told Cristiano Ronaldo he’s not going anywhere amid interest from Chelsea.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes allegedly met with the Blues over a potential move for the disgruntled attacker.
But the Mirror claim United have vetoed any possible exit for Ronaldo.
The publication claim a source told them: “Cristiano is not for sale. We want – and fully expect – him to be with us next season.”
    Liverpool get Saka advice
Now’s the perfect time for Liverpool to make a move for Bukayo Saka, according to ex-Red Jose Enrique.
Enrique reckons the Reds may never get a better opportunity to snag the England international as the Gunners chase Leeds ace Raphinha.
Enrique said in a Twitter exchange: “He is a great player but if I’m not wrong Saka is in one or two years left ?
“Now that it looks that they are going to sign Raphinha maybe is the best moment to go for him.”
    Bale confirms LAFC transfer
Gareth Bale has CONFIRMED his shock move to Los Angeles FC.
The Wales winger, 32, left Real Madrid at the end of his contract earlier this month.
For months there have been suggestions Bale could retire or return to hometown club Cardiff.
But Bale has put the rumours to bed after confirming he is joining LAFC on Twitter.
Sharing a video of himself in the club’s black and gold, Bale wrote: “See you soon, Los Angeles.”
    Good morning football fans
Sporting Lisbon have contacted Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo over the possibility of a shock transfer.
The Sun on Sunday understands bosses at Sporting, where Ronaldo played 25 league games before signing for United in 2003, believe they can lure him back to Lisbon.
United also fell flat in their efforts to sign Derby County’s Malcolm Ebiowei after Crystal Palace sporting director Dougie Freedman drove him to his medical with the Eagles.
New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly met with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, in Portugal last week and discussed the 37-year-old’s future and the possibility of a transfer.
Chelsea are the club who are ‘best placed’ to sign Ousmane Dembele as he edges ever closer to leaving the Nou Camp, according to Marca, with Xavi’s late offer to keep the Frenchman too little, too late.
Ronaldo’s former Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale has agreed agreed to join MLS side Los Angeles FC after posting a video on his social media page wearing an LAFC shirt.
The Wales captain, who turns 33 next month, is set to sign an initial one-year deal with an option to extend it by a further 18 months when the MLS transfer window reopens on July 7.
Bale’s former club Tottenham have suffered a blown in their pursuit of Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence.
Talks have been taking place for weeks but the two clubs are still way-off agreeing a fee with the North East team demanding £15 million plus add-ons – a price Spurs are unwilling to climb to.
North London rivals Arsenal are stepping up their efforts to sign Leeds United winger Raphinha after agreeing a £45million fee for Man City forward Gabriel Jesus.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Nottingham Forest are close to completing the double signings of Liverpool’s Neco Williams and Wolves Morgan Gibbs-White for a combined £35million.
Liverpool also now believe themselves to be the front-runners to sign Jude Bellingham due to Man City’s imminent acquisition of Kalvin Phillips.
    Liverpool lead race for Bellingham
Liverpool are confident Kalvin Phillips’ proposed move to Manchester City leaves them in pole position to land Jude Bellingham.
However there is still likely to be a tug-of-war between the Premier League’s big two to land the midfielder next summer.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the Borussia Dortmund star and has already earmarked him as his top target in 12 months time.
But Pep Guardiola is an equally big admirer of the 18-year-old and hopes Bellingham’s friendship with new signing Erling Haaland can sway an eventual deal their way.
There is growing confidence at Anfield that Man City’s imminent £45million signing of Leeds ace Phillips means the Reds are favourites to sign Bellingham.
Manchester United are a distant third in the race for his signature with Erik ten Hag’s transfer plans still being finalised.

The duo sat next to each other in the Dortmund dressing room and the champions hope Haaland can persuade his mate to join him at the Etihad Stadium.

And LaLiga giants Real Madrid are among the clubs monitoring Salah’s delicate situation.
Mane moved to Bayern Munich for £35m this week as Liverpool cashed in on the Senegal star, who had just one year left on his contract.
The same scenario is beginning to develop with the Reds’ Egyptian hitman, who can walk away for free next summer.
Salah, 30, has been in deadlock with the club for almost a year over his pay demand of £400,000 a week to sign a new deal.

Rooney QUITS Derby, Man City reach £42m agreement for Kalvin Phillips
Liverpool would love last season’s 31-goal top scorer to stay — but they will not shatter their wage structure to keep him at Anfield.
Salah earns just under the £240,000 a week paid to top earner Virgil van Dijk and claims he does not want “crazy” money to stay.
Real are watching developments and would be able to offer a mega deal — despite the bad blood between Salah and Real stars after two Champions League final spats over the past five seasons.
Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti believed France hitman Kylian Mbappe was joining before the striker opted to sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

Real thought they would have to wait another year to get Salah but Liverpool’s attitude has hardened after paying what could total a club record £85.3m for Darwin Nunez.
Luis Diaz, at a potential £49m overall, was signed in January while £7.7m has been committed on Fabio Carvalho, who has just joined from Fulham.
Teens Harvey Elliott and Kaide Gordon are also attacking back-ups.
Liverpool know that by keeping Salah they would be taking a huge financial gamble in their bid to regain the title.
But Americans FSG are famously prudent with the club’s finances and may decide to take the money and run — although they would refuse to sell to a Premier League rival.

London trio Chelsea, Tottenham and particularly Arsenal are interested in landing him this summer.
The Gunners saw their first bid rejected but are set to go back to Leeds with an improved offer.
However, as reported by Sport in Spain, they now face competition from the powerhouses in the North-West.
But it is understood Raphinha has so far kept the door closed on a transfer within the Premier League.

His dream move would still be to Barcelona – but their financial struggles could rule a deal out, especially if they succeed in their pursuit of Robert Lewandowski.
Personal terms with Barca are said to have been arranged way back in March thanks to the forward being represented by ex-Nou Camp hero Deco.
It is though both he and Raphinha remain hopeful of securing a deal to take the nine-cap international to LaLiga.
The Sport report adds Barcelona could wrap up a deal by the end of June – with the Catalan giants needing to stump up around £43million.

However, it is thought English clubs are being told that the figure required is more like £65m.
Manchester United are yet to make their first transfer of the Erik ten Hag era with Antony’s switch from Ajax still not done while team-mate Jurrien Timber and Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong could also be on their way to Old Trafford.
Liverpool, meanwhile, sold Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich for £35m this week – although they have already captured Darwin Nunez.
Should Raphinha join Arsenal, though, that could throw up further question marks over where Bukayo Saka’s future lies, with both players seemingly best operating on the right.
Leeds, who narrowly avoided relegation at the end of last season, are already working hard to bring in a replacement.
And PSV’s 23-year-old ace Cody Gakpo is one possible option.
The winger scored 21 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions for the Dutch side last season, making him one of the club’s highest-performing players.
PSV are demanding around £26m for their star man, so he will be well within Leeds’ price range if they did sell Raphinha. More

BAYERN MUNICH have officially completed the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool. The AFCON winner spent six successful seasons at Anfield winning EVERYTHING available to him at the club.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain could also be cutting ties with one of their superstars as reports suggest that the French giants are ready to sell Neymar.
Which means that football icon Zinedine Zidane may not get the chance to manage him – with the Frenchman refusing to rule out a managerial role at Parc des Princes.

    Taiwo heads for Forest
Union Berlin striker Taiwo Awoniyi has arrived in the Midlands to complete his club record £17.5million move to Nottingham Forest, writes GRAEME BRYCE.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international will complete his medical today (Friday) and Forest are confident he will be confirmed as their record signing within the next 48 hours – smashing the previous best £13.2million they paid for Joao Carvalho.
The former Liverpool frontman scored 15 goals, adding two assists in the Bundesliga last season and the Anfield club will cop a £1.75m bonus as they had a 10% sell-on clause inserted in his current contract, despite never using him in a competitive first team game.
Awoniyi bid farewell to his Union Berlin teammates in an emotional send-off this week, telling them he feels he has unfinished business in the Premier League.
He will be joined at the City Ground by Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has agreed to join Steve Cooper’s Prem new boys on a season-long-loan.
‘Utd cap Ten Hag budget at £120m’
Erik ten Hag’s summer transfer budget could be capped at £120million.
That’s the claim from the Mirror – despite Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani departing United.
New Old Trafford boss Ten Hag reportedly wants around five incomers – but might settle for three.
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong seems to top that list of targets, ahead of Ajax winger Antony – with a centre-back likely to be another priority.
    Marseille eye Nuno deal
Marseille have reportedly made an offer to borrow Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares with the option to buy permanently.
The 22-year-old is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates just one year after joining from Benfica for £8million.

Tavares featured in 27 games in all competitions for the Gunners – chipping in with one goal and two assists.
But he was guilty of inconsistent performances when he deputised for Kieran Tierney at left-back.
It was reported earlier this month how Arsenal were prepared to let the Portugal youth international depart on loan.
Serie A outfit Atalanta have been linked with the player, but the Italian side are claimed to face competition from Marseille.
Jesus and Raphinha ‘more important’ than Youri
Arsenal have reportedly prioritised the signings of Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha over Youri Tielemans.
The Gunners are still keen on Leicester city midfielder Tielemans, but want to recruit Man City ace Jesus and Leeds star Raphinha first,
That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
He told Caught Offside: “Arsenal have long had contacts with the player’s camp and with Leicester but have not made official offers so far.
“Talks are still on, but they are not at the key stages yet because the club is focused on Gabriel Jesus as a priority and is trying to compete for Raphinha, two deals on which you need to be quick.”
    Nkunku blow for Red Devils
Man United transfer target Christopher Nkunku has signed a new contract with RB Leipzig.
The deal was reported by Fabrizio Romano who tweeted: “Official and confirmed.
“Christopher Nkunku extends his contract with RB Leipzig until June 2026, deal now signed and sealed.
“There’s a release clause included in the new deal for €60m.”
    Chelsea eye De Ligt move
Chelsea are ramping up their interest in Juventus star Matthijs de Ligt.
Italian reports claim the Dutchman has emerged as a top defensive target for Thomas Tuchel.
And De Ligt is open to joining the world champions in a mega-money deal.
His agent is now set to hold showdown talks with Juventus.
But Chelsea have no intention of meeting De Ligt’s £103million release clause.

    Henderson set for Nottingham Forest
Man Utd goalie Dean Henderson has agreed terms to join Nottingham Forest on loan.
The Athletic claims the England goalie will play for the newly-promoted Premier League side next term.
And Forest will cover the entirety of his £110,000-a-week Old Trafford wages.
Newcastle had been interested in Henderson, but they have opted to make a permanent move for relegated Burnley stopper Nick Pope instead.
    Marseille launch Tavares loan bid
Marseille are looking to raid Arsenal once again – this time for Nuno Tavares.
Foot Mercato claims the French outfit have launched a loan offer for the Portuguese left-back, with an option to buy next summer.
Marseille are big fans of poaching talent from Arsenal, having signed Matteo Guendouzi permanently while loaning William Saliba.
    Sarri targets Emerson Palmieri reunion
Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri wants to sign Emerson Palmieri from old side Chelsea.
Football Italia claims the tactician is keen on reuniting with the left-back this summer.
And Lazio are set to launch a bid after opening talks with the Blues, who are open to a sale.

    Tottenham ‘abandon Jesus transfer pursuit’
Tottenham have abandoned their pursuit of Gabriel Jesus – clearing the path for North London rivals Arsenal to complete a swoop for the Brazilian, TOM BARCLAY WRITES.
Spurs did have an interest in the Manchester City forward as they look to bolster their forward ranks this summer.
But they have now moved on to other targets with fellow Brazilians Richarlison and Raphinha in their sights.
    Wolves misfit joins PSV
Wolves misfit Ki-Jana Hoever has joined PSV Eindhoven on a season-long-loan, GRAEME BRYCE WRITES.
The 20-year-old Dutchman cost Wolves £8.8million from Liverpool in 2020 but he failed to nail down a regular place at right-back, as Bruno Lage preferred Nelson Semedo.
Wolves will hope to recoup most of the £8.8million they invested in Hoever if he can get his career back on track in his homeland.
    Come on Son
Real Madrid are monitoring Tottenham superstar Son Heung-min, according to reports.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Son is one of a shortlist of forward players which the 14-time European champions are keeping tabs on.
Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to add to his attack after Gareth Bale and Isco’s contracts expired at the end of the season.
Marco Asensio has also been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, with Arsenal thought to be interested.
Son, who has netted 131 times and provided 73 assists in 324 appearances for Tottenham, is among a select few forwards being muted as potential targets for Real Madrid.
    Neymar ‘offered to Barcelona’
Neymar has been offered back to Barcelona for a cut-price fee but a secret clause in his contract at Paris Saint-Germain could scupper plans for a reunion, according to reports.
PSG are said to be open to selling the Brazilian trickster, and have offered him back to former club Barcelona for just £43million.
Despite the club’s financial problems which see’s them in debts of half a BILLION Euros, the prospect of bringing back one of their former superstars could be too tantalising a proposition to refuse.
    Bruce makes Jed Wallace signing
Steve Bruce has seen off fierce competition from Burnley, QPR, Luton and Watford to sign former Millwall right winger Jed Wallace, Graeme Bryce writes.
The 28-year-old is regarded as one of the Championship’s best free signings this summer after allowing his Lions’ contract to run down.
And Bruce says he is delighted to welcome the former Wolves winger to the Hawthorns after Wallace scored 37 goals and conjured up 39 assists in 210 appearances for Milwall.
“Jed will be a massive asset to our team, and I’m absolutely delighted to get him through the door,” said the Baggies’ boss.
“He is somebody who I’ve admired for a long time and have tried to sign before. He’s got pace, power, penetration in the final third and, above all, is a top pro.
“To have secured our two primary targets in Jed and John Swift is terrific, and to get these deals both done before the squad return for pre-season is testament to the hard work being done behind the scenes by Ron Gourlay and the recruitment team.”
    Kar-m and get me
Loris Karius has sent a passionate come-and-get-me plea as he desperately hunts for a new club.
Karius told Sky Sports Germany: “I took a week’s holiday after the season. That was enough for me.
“Now the focus is on the restart. There’s a new challenge coming up.
“I’m ready for it and I’m getting fit now. That’s my focus right now.
“I’m in top shape. I’ve been training at the highest level all year, with one of the best teams in the world.”
    Neymar to Newcastle?
Newcastle are keen on a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, according to reports.
The French side could opt to sell the Brazilian, although not many sides could afford his wages.
Eddie Howe’s men are among the few teams that would be willing to take them on, although L’Equipe claim that he would be dead against joining the Toon.
Spanish outlet Sport add that Juventus are also in the running, with boss Massimiliano Allegri keen.

    Newcastle man ‘unhappy with wages’
Newcastle talisman Allan Saint-Maximin has reportedly grown frustrated with the wage structure in place at St. James’ Park.
Toon are claimed to have explored the prospect of selling Saint-Maximin this summer in order to raise further funds for transfers.
Tottenham were understood to be interested in a potential deal, as well as Chelsea.
But SportMail claim Newcastle were looking for over £40million to part ways with trickster Saint-Maximin.
That valuation was deemed too high, but Saint-Maximin’s head is claimed to have been turned by the prospect of bigger salaries on offer elsewhere.
The winger is said to be frustrated by the wage structure at the club which restricts how much the Magpies can offer him.
Arsenal ‘hours away from Jesus transfer’
Arsenal could complete the purchase of Gabriel Jesus in HOURS, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert told wettfreunde: “I’m sure that Arsenal are absolutely leading the race (for Gabriel Jesus).
Arsenal are in really advanced talks. So they have the chance to complete this deal.
“If they want, it could be a matter of hours or days to complete this deal.
“They are in final stages but it is really important to complete these key details that sometimes could create some problems.”
    Mane receives special welcome
Bayern Munich celebrated the arrival of Sadio Mane by lighting up the Allianz Arena with his name in an incredible display.
Bayern chiefs celebrated the move in impressive style once darkness descended on Munich.
The streets around the Allianz Arena were buzzing in a red glow, with a series of glittering white lights spelling out the name “Mane” along the side.
Bayern Munich shared the incredible snap of their ground on Instagram, simply captioned “Mane”.

    Arsenal ‘prepare second Raphinha bid’
Arsenal are reportedly preparing a second bid for Raphinha as they look to beat London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham to the Leeds winger.
Mikel Arteta has made landing the forward a priority signing, with the Gunners launching an offer to secure his services earlier this week.
But their approach was swiftly knocked back by the Whites after it fell way under their asking price.
It was claimed on Monday that Arsenal were set to wrap up a transfer for the Brazilian this week, but those claims appear to be wide of the mark.
According to the Guardian, the Yorkshire outfit will only part ways with the ex-Rennes ace should they receive a fee of at least £65million.
But they state that despite the hefty asking price, Arsenal are preparing to make a second bid in their quest to bring him to the Emirates.
    Man City ‘to sign keeper’
Manchester City are poised to sign German keeper Stefan Ortega, according to reports.
The Armenia Bielefeld star is a free agent with his contract at the Bundesliga club expiring at the end of the month.
Respected Kicker magazine claimed City boss Pep Guardiola wants Ortega to be Ederson’s understudy next season.
Despite his best efforts Bielefeld were relegated in May, and they have been unable to offer him a new deal.
But Ortega now appears set to forge a new career under former Bayern coach Guardiola, alongside compatriot Ilkay Gundogan, with the Premier League champions.
    Pogba Juventus transfer latest
Paul Pogba could seal his free transfer return to Juventus TODAY, according to reports.
Pogba, who cost United a then-world-record £89million in 2016, has been linked with moves to both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
But Pogba “only ever wanted Juventus”, according to Fabrizio Romano.
And Sky Sports Italia have now revealed the 2018 World Cup winner’s representatives are hoping to complete a four-year deal on Thursday.
Rafaela Pimenta – who has taken over from the late Mino Raiola – is set for talks with Juventus chiefs to discuss contract terms.
It’s expected Pogba will push for either a four-year deal or a three-year deal with the option for an additional season.
Sterling urged not to join Chelsea
Raheem Sterling has been urged not to join Chelsea by Trevor Sinclair.
He told talkSPORT when asked if Sterling should swap Man City for the Blues: “I would say no because I don’t think Chelsea will be competitive with Man City and Liverpool next season.
“They’ve lost players, the club is in a transitional phase where they’ve lost a lot of players and they’ve got to do a lot of rebuilding.”
    Firminho tipped for Liverpool exit
Roberto Firminho is likely to be next out of Liverpool’s exit following Sadio Mane’s departure to Bayern Munich.
That’s according to ex-Reds star Stuart Downing who reckons Firminho will play second fiddle to new recruit Darwin Nunez next season.
Downing said ahead of the 360 Sports TV Masters Cup: “I hope Darwin Nunez hits the ground running. I see Firmino being a backup player to him.
“If they can get Firmino back to the form he was at a couple of seasons ago, it’s another great dimension for Liverpool.
“But this will probably be his last year, or he might do until January.”
    Sterling’s transfer demands revealed
Man City ace Raheem Sterling will only leave the club for regular first-team football and Champions League nights, reports claim.
The 27-year-old still has lofty ambitions that he wants to fulfill by playing consistently, the Daily Express reported.
And that puts Chelsea in pole position for his signature as they can provide Sterling with both demands.

Spartak’s joke letter, pretending to be from Bayern Munich
Bayern’s offers prior to the one which The Reds accepted saw some extra clauses worked into the deal, which included winning the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or for the next three years.
Russian club Spartak Moscow brutally trolled both Bayern Munich and Liverpool rivals Manchester United in a post on their Twitter page which referenced the clauses in the deal.
The English language account for Spartak Moscow posted a spoof offer from Bayern for their star striker Aleksandr Sobolev, which included clauses.
The joke email sees a €1,000 offer for Sobolev, which will increase by €10m if Bayern win the Eurovision Song Contest.

The deal then increases to €15m if Man United win a trophy, and €20m if former Barcelona man Lionel Messi joins arch rivals Real Madrid.
However, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has revealed that Liverpool accepted one of these clauses.

Mane had one year left on his deal at Liverpool, but wanted to leave in order to find a new challenge which he now looks set to do with Bayern.
The Senegalese star joined Liverpool in 2016 from Southampton, scoring 120 goals and creating 48 in 269 appearances across six years at Anfield.
The Reds have wasted no time in finding his replacement, signing Benfica star Darwin Nunez in a deal which could rise to £85million.
They have also completed the signings of Fulham star Fabio Carvalho for up to £8million and Aderbeen full-back Calvin Ramsey for £6.5million.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are desperate to go one better than they managed last season and win the Premier League again.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are set to lose talisman Robert Lewandowski as he tries to push for a move to Barcelona, while they are also desperately trying to agree a new deal with Serge Gnabry. More
