Firmino came off the bench to round off Sunday’s 7-0 Anfield annihilation of Manchester United.
But his contract is up at the end of the season, having won the Champions League, Prem and FA Cup since joining Liverpool in 2015.
And it’s understood there is very little chance of Firmino deciding to return to his home country at this stage.
Journalist Jorge Nicola believes half a dozen teams have quickly jumped into the race to sign him.

He predicted “a big club from an important league” will sign Firmino.
But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he’ll be saddened if the crowd favourite departs.
And Firmino’s club and country team-mate Fabinho would prefer the  £29million buy from Hoffenheim to stay at Anfield “forever”.
After the destruction of United, midfielder Fabinho said: “It’s great to have him as a teammate. He’s a guy that everyone likes.

“It was really cool that he scored, that he celebrated in that way. Everyone on the bench, on the field, celebrated with him, because he is a guy that everyone likes.
“So he’s a guy who for me should stay at Liverpool forever, who was very important since my arrival.
“I don’t want to talk too much about the future, let’s enjoy these last few months that we have of him here.

Liverpool ‘increasingly confident of Jude Bellingham transfer but Dortmund star will only join if huge condition met’

LIVERPOOL are reportedly growing confident about landing Jude Bellingham – but their success could hinge on one condition. The 19-year-old has emerged as one of world football’s most in-demand stars.

Dortmund will likely command a huge fee with Bellingham’s contract not expiring until 2025.
And Liverpool are now confident they can break free from the chasing pack and make the marquee signing, according to the Mail.
But much could depend on how the Reds finish the season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have finally found some form, especially after Sunday’s demolition of Manchester United.

If Liverpool can finish in the top four, that could be a big factor for Bellingham.
He has played in the Champions League in the last three seasons, with this campaign coming to an end on a frustrating night at Stamford Bridge earlier this week.
Other clubs interested in Bellingham, including Real Madrid and Manchester City will almost certainly be able to offer games in Europe’s top competition next season so the stakes are high for Liverpool.
After four wins in five league games, they sit 5th in the table, three points behind Tottenham with a game in hand.

But Arsenal legend Henry believes all of those sides are set to miss out on the England midfielder.
That’s because he understands Bellingham has his heart set on Liverpool.
While discussing Kylian Mbappe’s future on CBS’ Champions League coverage, Henry made a passing remark to Jamie Carragher.
He said: “Bellingham wants to play for Liverpool, right? Everyone knows that.”

Liverpool legend Carragher, grinning from ear to ear, replied: “I hope so.”
Bellingham, who is set to cost around £100million, is widely regarded as one of the hottest young talents in European football.
Earlier this week, it was reported his father, Mark, who manages his son’s career, met with Real Madrid chiefs.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s men are still hopeful they can agree a deal for the former Birmingham man – who is under contract until 2025.

And they could use his potential arrival as extra motivation to secure Champions League football next season.
Liverpool sit fifth in the Premier League table and will move into the top four if they win their game in hand.
Speaking about Bellingham back in December, Klopp said: “I don’t like to talk about money when you talk about a player like him. Everyone can see he is just exceptional.
“If you mention to someone who has no clue about football, or who knows about football and has not watched it for a while (and ask) ‘How old do you think Jude Bellingham is?’, I don’t think anyone would get even close to his age.
“They would say 28 or 29 because he plays so maturely. He played an exceptional World Cup. Absolutely exceptional.
“With all the things he has and things he can improve, to describe him I would say the things he can do are difficult to learn, and the things he can improve are easy to learn.
“So, yes, he is a really good player. What can I say? I have thought that already for two or three years since he had his breakthrough at Dortmund.
“Everybody knew already but I have no idea what that means for the money side of it.
“I really think if we all want to do him a favour then we do not talk too much about money. I mean that from an England point of view. Do not throw any hurdles in his development.” More
