According to Santi Aouna, Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign the Dutch midfielder after he had a difficult debut season in the Bundesliga.
He tweeted: “Liverpool have reactivated their pursuit of Ryan Gravenberch this week.
“The player is open to a move to England.
    “Talks ongoing with his entourage.

“The Bayern midfielder is still on Manchester United’s list, although no offer has yet been made.”
After completing a £16m move from Ajax last summer, Gravenberch, 21, scored only once in 33 appearances across all competitions.

However, he was limited to just three league starts as he failed to establish himself under both Julian Nagelsmann and Thomas Tuchel.
The Dutch international is now ready to depart the Allianz Arena and make a move to England but it may not be to Anfield.

Prior to completing a £16million move to Bayern last summer, Gravenberch played under Ten Hag at Ajax from 2018-2022.
He made 72 appearances and scored seven goals during his spell for ten Hag’s team.
Meanwhile, Klopp is desperate for a new defensive midfielder after Sunday’s 1-1- draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
After losing seven numbers of last season’s squad the Reds have only recruited Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Now missing out on Moses Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Mauricio Potchettino Liverpool is on the hunt to fill in the gaps left by Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
However, no offers have been made yet from either Premier League side. More

Liverpool ‘step up Doucoure transfer pursuit’ as they target Crystal Palace star after missing out on Caicedo and Lavia

LIVERPOOL have stepped up their interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure after missing out on moves for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, according to reports. The Reds have so far failed to reinforce their central midfield after losing midfielders Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to the Saudi league this summer.
Doucoure could leave Palace if his £60million price tag is met – but Palace are reluctant to lose too many players this windowCredit: Reuters
They also lost veteran midfielder James Milner to Brighton on a free transfer at the end of the season.
And after initial promise of a midfield rebuild when bringing in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai the club are now scrambling to bring in some defensive nous.
The club had a £111million offer for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo accepted last week but the Ecuador international ultimately opted to join Chelsea.
They also lost out on Southampton’s Romeo Lavia who is set to join the Blues in a £53 deal.

Which has led to Liverpool identifying Crystal Palace’s Doucoure as the man to anchor their midfield this season.
The Independent report that Palace would look to demand around £60m for the midfielder, who arrived at the club from Lens last summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder made 34 appearances for Palace last season and registered three assists as he made himself a mainstay of the Eagles’ midfield.
Palace will be reluctant to lose the midfielder this late in the window – with the midfielder a key part of their side.

Doucoure played the full 90 minutes during the Eagles’ 1-0 win over Sheffield United on the opening day.
The Independent’s report adds that while Palace have put a price tag on Doucoure, they could still be reluctant to sell if the price is met due to not wanting to lose too many key players this summer.
The window has seen the club’s talisman Wilfried Zaha depart on a free to Galatasaray and the club are also set to lose Michael Olise after Chelsea met his £35m release clause.
Eberechi Eze is also attracting interest from the likes of Tottenham this summer and Palace will likely set a limit on outgoings as they do not want to be seen to be engaging in a fire sale of their best players.
On Liverpool’s own high turnover of midfield players, manager Jurgen Klopp said he is keen to “reload” his squad.
Klopp said: “We don’t have to always say ‘Milner would have said that and Henderson would have said that and Firmino would have smiled here.’ We should not do it like that. That makes no sense.
“We have this kind of new start with this Liverpool reloaded, it’s an exciting thing. Everybody was asking for changes, rightly so, because we were together for a long time.
“It’s a new chance for everybody, everybody has to step up. We all share responsibility and it’s not that we should give ourselves too much time to grow into it, let’s do it.
“Let’s take the responsibility and go from there and don’t try to be like somebody. Be the best version of yourself and then you have a good chance to help the team in the best possible way.” More

As a result, Klopp and his side have been ridiculed by Chelsea supporters, who have come up with a new nickname for their midfield.
Using Lavia, Enzo Fernandez and Caicedo’s initials, the midfield trio have been dubbed “LFC” by fans.
The letters also spell out Liverpool’s abbreviated name, much to the amusement of Chelsea fans.
Liverpool had agreed a deal with Brighton for the signing of Caicedo last week before he snubbed them to join Chelsea for £115million.

Meanwhile, Klopp saw his side have multiple bids rejected for Lavia before Chelsea agreed a fee with Southampton.
Fernandez was also linked with a move to Anfield before joining Chelsea in January.
The pattern of players joining Chelsea over Liverpool has not gone unnoticed amongst supporters.
One fan tweeted: “Chelsea owns LFC whichever way you look at it.”

Another added: “Liverpool conquered to form our new ‘LFC’ midfield.”
A third fan even joked that Chelsea were expanding their habit of signing players Klopp was interested in.
They wrote: “Chelsea have agreed to sign Ronald McDonald for a club record fee after seeing Jurgen Klopp was considering buying a Big Mac and fries.”
Klopp and Liverpool have struggled in the transfer market this summer, making just two signings.
The club have also been slammed by pundits for missing out on several targets.
However, despite their woes, Klopp could not resist aiming a dig at Chelsea’s spending after their 1-1 draw on Sunday.
The impending arrival of Lavia is set to take their spending to almost a billion since Todd Boehly’s takeover.

Caicedo snubbed interest from Liverpool after they agreed a £111m fee with Brighton last week.
But Caicedo rejected a move to Anfield as he has had his heart set on a move to Chelsea from the beginning of the window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, there is also a sell-on clause included for Brighton as well as the historic £115m fee.
It is added that medical tests have been booked with Chelsea pipping Liverpool to the deal, following their 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

The Athletic say an eight-year contract has been agreed with the option of a ninth with medicals booked for tomorrow and an official announcement to follow right after.
Brighton will make an incredible profit on Caicedo having signed him for just £4.5m from Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle in 2021.
He was one of the standout midfielders in the Premier League last season, making 37 league appearances for the Seagulls as they finished 6th in the Premier League.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had confirmed that a deal had been agreed to bring the star to Anfield.

But a deal started to stall as it was claimed that Caicedo was having second thoughts about the move.
And as revealed by SunSport, the South American rejected the deal as he had his heart set on moving to Chelsea.
Chelsea desperately need new midfielders following the exits of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount and N’Golo Kante this summer.
And Caicedo now looks to be Fernandez’s new midfield partner with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia also close to a Chelsea move.
Liverpool were in for Lavia too and after losing Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita, they are short in midfield.

He said on Sky Sports: “James is looking at him running off him. He’ll argue afterwards saying, ‘Oh, I’m a wing-back and that’s not my job.’
“But he sees him running and you have to sprint back like your life depends on it.
