MANCHESTER UNITED have beaten Chelsea 2-1 in a Premier League cracker at Old Trafford.The Red Devils took the lead through Scott McTominay on 19 minutes after Bruno Fernandes had an early penalty saved by Robert Sanchez.
Just before half time, Manchester City academy product Cole Palmer made it 1-1 with a superb finish.
On 69 minutes, Scott McTominay got his second of the night to restore Man Utd’s lead with a bullet header and earn Erik ten Hag’s side all three points on the night.

Chelsea need to start looking the part
Since arriving as the new owner of the West London outfit, Todd Boehly has spent in excess of £1bn.
However, watching their performances, this does not look like a side that has been compiled to set the world alight.
Defensively, they look terrible and are opened up too easily by teams and constantly look capable of conceding goals.
Aside from that, in the final third, they look wasteful and do not capable of a clinical edge.
Mauricio Pochettino has his work cut out at Chelsea, whether he is given the time to do so, only time will tell.

United need to use win as springboard
Man Utd go into a tough run of fixtures now that could define their season ahead.
Looking to do what they can to stay in Europe into the New Year, they also have some tricky league fixtures.
Victory over Chelsea should give them confidence heading into this run of games however.

Garnacho lifts a ball into the back post and McTominay runs onto it to head the ball past Sanchez.

Whenever they get the ball to him, he is causing the Chelsea defence problems with his pace and trickery.
Sadly, neither side are looking very potent in front of goal in this half.

He drags the ball back, losing Caicedo and looks to get a shot away.
It is well blocked and goes behind for a corner.

As the cross comes in, it drops to Shaw on the edge of the box who lets fly.

They do not look the attacking threat they did before the interval.
All too often players get into good positions out wide and then fire in wasteful crosses, not beating the first defender.

ARSENAL have beaten Luton Town 4-3 in a Premier League thriller at Kenilworth Road.Gabriel Martinelli scored the opener after getting on the end of a superb cross from Ben White.
Gabriel Osho equalised on 25 minutes, before Gabriel Jesus gave the Gunners a 2-1 lead on half time.
In the 49th minute, Elijah Adebayo beat David Raya to the ball from a corner to head the Hatters back level.
Ross Barkley’s strike went through the hands of the Arsenal keeper to put Luton 3-2 up before Kai Havertz levelled things up on the hour mark.
In the final seconds of the game, Declan Rice’s glancing header broke Luton hearts to give the Gunners all three points and extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points.

Unlucky Luton…
Let’s give credit where it is due.
Luton deserved a point from that game.
They put up one hell of a fight against the league leaders, and kept the game at 3-3 right up to the death.
Ross Barkley, Gabriel Osho and Elijah Adebayo were all brilliant, as well as Kaminski in goal.
If they can play like that, with such intensity and passion for the rest of the season, they might just have enough to stay in the Premier League.
