    Manchester United 0-1 Manchester City
    30. Gary Neville is insisting the penalty was soft, but it is most definitely a penalty.
Hojlund wrapped his arm around Rodri as he tried to attack the ball, and dragged him to the ground in the process.
    Manchester United 0-1 Manchester City
    28. Onana was booked for time wasting in the build up to the penalty, so will now play the remaining 70 minutes or so on a warning.
    Manchester United 0-1 Manchester City

Alvarez takes it short, Stones finds Grealish.
He works some space and bends a shot, but it is saved out for another corner.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    18. Manchester City have a free kick, just in front of the halfway line.
It is worked out to Bernardo Silva on the left side, but City play it backwards and will look to build another attack from the back.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    16. Phil Foden spots a great pass into Erling Haaland, who looks to be through on goal, but he just seems to be on his heels a tad, and Andre Onana beats him to the ball.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    13. A poor pass from Jack Grealish means Hojlund can escape on the break.
His pass back to Christian Eriksen is slow, and City are able to win it back.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    11. Man City are largely keeping possession now, with United players mostly behind the ball.
Starting to look more like the game that most people expected now…
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    8. So close for Manchester City!
Rodri finds a great ball insode the box to Kyle Walker, who heads the ball back to Phil Foden.
His header is excellent, but Onana denies him.
Haaland looks to tap in the rebound, but the Cameroonian goalkeeper denies him too.
It is eventually cleared off the line by Harry Maguire.
    Inches in it…
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    6. Hojlund seems to be mounted by Rodri in midfield, but does well to work the ball out to Rashford on the left wing.
He tries to drive past Kyle Walker, but the English right back puts a stop to that.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    4. Man City gain control here, and work the ball out to Phil Foden on the right side of midfield.
It is played all the way back to Ederson in net, and they will look to rebuild down the left flank now.
    Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
    2. Dalot whips a ball into the far post, but it is slightly overhit and Lindelof is unable to keep the ball in play.
    KICK-OFF – Manchester United 0-0 Manchester City
We are underway here at Old Trafford, and it is Scott McTominay who has the first kick.
    Ready to go
Just a matter of moments to go before kick off here.
The players are out, we will have a minutes applause for Sir Bobby Charlton, with the view of a beautiful tribute and then we will be underway.
    Ten minutes to go…
Just ten minutes until kick-off here at Old Trafford.
The tension is building as we approach the start of the game, and the fans are ready.
Settle down with your roast dinner, get cosy on the sofa, it is time for the Manchester Derby!
    “Tactic.”
When asked about why Jonny Evans is preferred to Raphael Varane in the starting XI for Man Utd today, Erik Ten Hag had a very simple answer for Sky Sports…
“Tactic.” was his only word, nothing more, nothing less.
I guess you have to take his word for it!
    Milestone for Grealish
It is a big day for Jack Grealish, as he is set to make his 100th appearance for the club today.
He comes back into the side for Jeremy Doku, the young Belgian winger who has been excellent since he joined.

There is no denying that Erling Haaland is a superstar, and probably the best striker in the world.

A goal or three for him today could be huge for his season.

    Remembering Sir Bobby Charlton

    West Ham 0-1 Everton
There will be SIX minutes of added time.
West Ham are desperate to stop an Everton victory.
But the clock is ticking away – will the Hammers be able to bring this one back?
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    90. CLOSE! Almost the leveller!
Paqueta swings in a cross and Benrahma meets the ball with a fierce strike which is pushed away by Pickford.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    87. SUBSTITUTION! 28. Chermiti comes on for the superstar of the match Calvert-Lewin.
The striker has been remarkable for the Toffees today and they’re minutes away plus added time from securing a win.
This would be Everton’s fifth win in their last 41 away games.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    84. SUBSTITUTION! Cresswell comes off and is replaced by No18 Danny Ings.
Another missed chance for West Ham who fired the ball over the net once again.
    Alvarez (West Ham) YELLOW CARD!
    83. West Ham are getting frustrated now as the Toffees are just less than TEN minutes from a crucial win.
Amadou Onana drives things forward for Everton, but he’s taken out by Edson Alvarez – who received a yellow for his challenge.

    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    79. A great save from Pickford as Kudus tries to even the score out but hits the keeper in the chest.
The England keeper was quick to prevent a goal for the Hammers
The Ghanian was offside but Pickford had no idea.
    Benrahma (West Ham) YELLOW CARD!
    77. Benrahma is booked for a tactical foul which breaks down an Everton counter attack.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    73. SUBSTITUTION! A change is ready to be made as 28. Tomas Soucek is on the sidelines and will be coming on to replace Ward-Prowse.
West Ham win a corner and it will now be taken by Bowen.
The ball again is immediately cleared by Everton’s defence as West Ham continues to fight for a goal.
    Paqueta (West Ham) YELLOW CARD!
    69. West Ham cry for a penalty as the ball is headed against the arm of an Everton defender who is standing inches away from the ball.
Paqueta received a yellow for dissent as frustration builds for the Hammers who are seeking to bring the game back.
It would have been very harsh and VAR rightly doesn’t overturn the referee’s call of no penalty.
    Credit: AFP
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    65. CHANCE! Its another poor performance from West Ham’s defence.
A dipping shot from McNeil is tipped over the bar by Hammers keeper Areola.
McNeil really had a chance to take his team to a 2-0 lead.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    60. CHANCE! Another great chance for Everton
Calvert-Lewin headers the ball to Doucoure who takes his shot but narrowingly misses the goal.
West Hams’s defence are all over the place and let the Mali international have a clear shot.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    57. No9 Antonio heads off for West Ham and is replaced by 22. Benrahma.
Antonio before his send off won West Ham a wide free-kick. James Ward-Prowse is over it.
But Paqueta smashes a bicycle kick the wrong direction.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
    54. The Everton fans have livened up and now roaring their team on.
West Ham are still trying to break down the Toffees defence to even the score out.
    West Ham 0-1 Everton
That was Calvert-Lewin’s 50th Premier League goal for Everton.
He is the fourth player to reach that milestone for the Toffees after Romelu Lukaku (68), Duncan Ferguson (60) and Tim Cahill (56).
    GOAL! Calvert-Lewin (Everton) 51′
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    47. FREE KICK! Cresswell takes the free-kick for the Hammers.
But Bowen’s downward header shoots the ball over the post.
Another missed opportunity for Moyes side this game.
    Kick-off West Ham 0-0 Everton
Both sides will be keen to make an impact this half.
A goal would be appreciated from either side as they chase to swoop up the three points.
Everton get the second half started.
No changes were made during the break.
HALF TIME West Ham 0-0 Everton
Neither side has really been able to build up any momentum in the first half.
West Ham are struggling to get ahead of the game and then when they do get the ball back from Everton there are so many of the Toffee players defending.
The same goes for Everton – a stern team talk from both Moyes and Dyche is sure to be given to both sides as they take on the next half.
    Credit: AFP
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    45. The scoreboard has shown there will be FIVE minutes of added time.
Moaning and groaning from some fans inside London Stadium, show how bad the first half has been.
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    42. The game is slowed down even more as Onana falls to the ground and puts his head in his hands.
But he elegantly steams back onto the pitch as the Toffees are yet to make any real impact in the game.
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    40. OVER! Calvert-Lewin again headers another ball over the sticks.
Everton are really struggling to get a shot on target in this first half.
The crowd has started to die down and the game has really slowed down.
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    35. A decent corner from Everton as Tarkowski rises highest at the back post, but a downward header is blocked by West Hams’s wall.
Everton take back possession only for Jack Harrison to launch a shot over the goal.
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    36. The last 10 minutes for Everton have not been great.
Each time their frontline attempt to break into penalty they are met with Aguerd and Zouma who boot the ball straight back
    West Ham 0-0 Everton
    31. Boos for Pickford from the West Ham fans now, every time he touches the ball.
He slips up a clearance as it goes out for a throw and the Hammers fans let him know the mistake he just made. More

Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou LIVE RESULTS: Fury DROPPED to canvas in shock main event – latest updates

TYSON FURY is facing UFC legend Francis Ngannou in a historic crossover fight in Saudi Arabia – and he has been KNOCKED DOWN!But the big main event has started later than planned after epic opening ceremony. A win for Ngannou would be among the sport’s greatest shocks while Fury would suffer a disastrous defeat.
And Oleksandr Usyk is waiting in the wings ringside with their mega undisputed heavyweight title bout set to be confirmed tonight for December 23.

BETTING SPECIAL – GET FURY TO WIN AT HUGE 30/1
Follow ALL of the latest updates below…
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 6)
Francis Ngannou is just so physically strong. He’s absorbed everything Tyson’s thrown at him. Fury needs to raise the tempo and test his challenger’s fitness.
Another right hand from Fury that just bounces off Ngannou. The former UFC champion is still throwing, but there’s a noticeable drop off in intensity.
Ngannou has done so much in those opening rounds, will they be enough to see him to victory?
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 5)
Tyson Fury has regained his composure, and he’s boxing from range. Occasionally dipping in to land a stiff jab – but he can’t get Francis Ngannou to come forward. The MMA superstar is staying compact.
Snap! Great combination from Fury, who delivers his best moment of the fight. Much cleaner work but it’s still a monster task from here.
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 4)
Francis Ngannou is working well behind his jab. He’s patient, he’s accurate and he’s roughing Tyson Fury up!
Fury does look to have his legs back and he’s landed a few decent blows – but Ngannou is unmoved and steadfast. Carl Frampton has Ngannou winning all four rounds so far, and it’s hard to disagree.
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 3)
    DOWN GOES FURY!
You are kidding me?! Francis Ngannou drops Tyson Fury to the deck with a left hook to the temple from the Gods! Fury rolls off the canvas and back to his feet fairly swiftly and blows his cheeks. He looks rattled.
Fury survives to the end of the round, but how will he respond to that?
Oh, I forgot to mention – Ngannou laughed and danced in Fury’s face while he was on the deck.
    Credit: GETTY
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 2)
Has Francis Ngannou read the script? Everyone was expecting the former UFC champion to come out swinging wildly, but he’s not taking the bait. He’s keeping his range and not getting involved in a scrap.
There’s also blood coming from above the left eye of Fury! Ngannou either got him with a swinging left hook or there was a clash of heads. It’s tough to see.
He switches to southpaw, which has to be a sign of respect for his opponent.
Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou (Round 1)
No time wasted! Tyson Fury is straight out and lands with a stiff jab. Francis Ngannou takes it well and goes on the front foot.
Fury gets angry when Ngannou doesn’t release from the clinch, and is given a swift ticking off from the referee.
Ngannou flicks out a double jab and lands a shot to Fury’s body. It’s actually been a very impressive start from the MMA star, who’s showing good patience, composure and is picking his shots.
One or two words exchanged when the bell rings. Impressive.
    We’ve made it
Ok folks, the fighters are in the ring, the robes and crowns are off and Michael Buffer is doing the introductions. We’re just moments away from discovering who is the baddest man on the planet.
    We’re underway.
    Not so fast
Don’t you dare think this is going to start now. I’m starting to think this could be the most expensive and sophisticated prank ever played on a global audience.
The Saudi Arabian, English and Cameroon national anthems are about to begin.
    Hello Tyson
It’s very clear who the fans inside the arena are supporting. The volume turns up six notches when the Gypsy King strolls out to Jolene by Dolly Parton.
Again, Fury is on the throne in a gold robe with a crown as flames shoot up from the floor. He shadow boxes on his way to the ring as the song switches to Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison.
    I feel like I’m describing a dream I had.
    Hello Francis
“Ladies and gentlemen, who will be the baddest man on the planet? Let’s get this paaaaarty started,” announces the legendary Michael Buffer from the middle of the ring.
Started From the Bottom by Drake blares from the sound system as Francis Ngannou emerges on stage.
He’s sat on a throne, adorned in a gold robe with a crown on. Mike Tyson stood beside him in a suit. Iron Mike follows him down the ramp giving advice until the very last moment.
I’m no entrance expert, but that was clunky to say the least.

    Sweet Caroline…
    That MUST mean we’re close.
TNT Sports are showing pictures of Tyson Fury being dressed up in some kind of robe, and a crown placed on his head. Steve Bunce thinks the “Gypsy King” is looking pensive. I agree.
Oleksandr Usyk isn’t looking pensive. He’s belting out Sweet Caroline at the top of his lungs.
    Education
Is this an educational trip for Oleksandr Usyk?
The WBA, WBO and IBF champion is scheduled to fight Tyson Fury at this location on December 23 to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis.
But with the best will in the world, he’s probably not going to learn a lot when Fury is fighting a boxing novice.
He’s still doing Usyk things though.

    The ring has risen
The ring actually rose from under the ground in the opening ceremony.
And it is now in place and looking ready to go!
SunSport has the latest from inside the arena.
Watch Fury vs Ngannou ring rise from the ground ahead of spectacular Battle of the Baddest
    Atmosphere
The arena is slowly but surely recovering from the energy-sapping ‘opening ceremony’, and Freed From Desire by Gala Rizzatto is doing most of the heavy lifting.
    It does look a sell-out.
    Open workouts
Well it’s been a nightmare trying to decipher anything from Francis Ngannou’s open workout. All answers are basically wrong.
There wasn’t too much in the way of footwork, while his head movement and speed were also noticeably slow. Then again, many have said he’s conserving energy.
He was breathing quite heavily after unleashing a few rockets. Then again, many have said that he’s making himself look worse on purpose.
Glad to have answered no questions there.
    Credit: GETTY
    Boos?
    Well that’s perked me up.
TNT Sports were hailing the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and the fans inside the arena all booed on mass.
Quite surprising given he plays for Al-Nassr, who are based in the city of Riyadh. Must be a lot of Al-Hilal ultras in there tonight.
Eminem and Oleksandr Usyk got huge cheers by the way.
    Here IT comes
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the boxing ring!
The stage just moved backwards, and the ring has emerged from underground. That was cool, if not a little cute.
Undercard – done. Entertainment – done. The main event is upon us, folks. I promise.
    3 reasons why
Francis Ngannou has delivered three reasons why he’s going to win tonight.

    I’m stronger
    I’m more hungry
    I’m dedicated

That didn’t work at my last job interview, and I’m not convinced it’s going to work tonight, mate. Love the confidence though.
Performances are still ongoing. Just going to let the dog out, back in five…
    Mike’s thoughts
Ok, let’s get back to fighting.
As we know, Mike Tyson is Francis Ngannou’s mentor for this contest, but he really does fancy his fighter to pull off an upset.
Why? Well because the former UFC champion punched an opponent so hard in training that he broke his leg. You read that right.
“At first when this came to me, I said ‘there’s no way this is going to happen’,” Tyson said.
“Then I watched him spar and he hit this guy and he broke his leg when he went down — and I said ‘man, there is a possibility something good could happen here’.
“I have never seen anything like that before. If he could do that man, he could possibly be heavyweight champion of the world.”
    Credit: getty
    Still going…
The entertainment is still going. It’s approaching 1am in Riyadh.
Try pulling this on the regulars at York Hall, you’d have a riot on your hands.
    The ceremony begins
Turki al-Sheikh delivers a quick pre-recorded speech, and the music starts with a very impressive lights show.
Who is performing? No, seriously, who is this?
I’m reliably informed it’s Flowdan, and Wikipedia tells me he’s an English grime MC and record producer from Bow and Poplar, East London.
He’s swiftly followed by Lil Baby. I’m not even going to search for him.
    Selfie
Massive congratulations are in order. The greatest of all time has managed to get himself a picture with Cristiano Ronaldo.
That’ll be framed and on the mantel piece shortly.

    Sheikh-en, not stirred
What’s the state of play? Well, we’re waiting. Patiently.
It looks as though the arena has filled up and everything’s ready to go for the super secret opening ceremony to kick-start Riyadh Season.
But… we can’t start the event until Turki al-Sheikh takes his seat, and he’s nowhere to be seen.
    Cristiano Ronaldo’s prediction
That’s admittedly a misleading headline, he really doesn’t have one.
Asked who he thinks will win, he smiles and says: “They are both my friends, let’s see.”
Never broke stride while not answering the question. A true professional.
    It’s showtime!
No, not that show. Riyadh Season will officially begin with an opening ceremony in a few moments.
Reports suggest it’s been arranged by the same producers who do the Olympic Games ceremonies and Super Bowl half-time shows.
Expectations are high, then again, my favourite band are The Kinks and I have my doubts Ray Davies will be strolling out on stage. More

Gunners continue unbeaten start to campaign
Arsenal remain unbeaten this season as they put Sheff Utd to the sword today.
It took a while to break down Sheff Utd but once they did, there seemed no way back for the visitors.
They move to second in the table, closing the gap on North London rivals Tottenham.
The performances of Rice and Nketiah, in particular, were a joy to behold.
    FT: Arsenal 5-0 Sheff Utd
With no Martin Odegaard or Gabriel Jesus, it was time for Declan Rice to step up today and boy did he deliver.
He controlled the centre of midfield, breaking up play and winning the ball back for Arsenal.
Without his skipper alongside him, he even took the mantle of coming forward more and trying to get his side on the attack.
    FT: Arsenal 5-0 Sheff Utd
Eddie Nketiah stepped up to the plate for his side today.
With Gabriel Jesus out injured, it was his turn to lead the line.
Scoring his first hat trick for the club, the English striker was the man of the moment for The Gunners.

    FT: Arsenal 5-0 Sheff Utd
It is a dominant win from The Gunners, nothing more than they deserved.
