“I’m a guy who likes him a lot, I’ve always liked him, since my time with Brazil’s national team.
“He’s had a great season, he was considered the best [overseas] player in the French league.”

But with Martin Odegaard, Fabio Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe already operating in creative midfield roles, the Gunners did not get a transfer done this summer.

Mbappe was criticised by pundits and fans alike after a video clip appeared to show him stropping when he was not given the ball on a counter-attack during PSG’s 5-2 win over Montpellier.
To top it all off, Mbappe missed a penalty before Neymar stepped up and converted another later in the game, despite Mbappe’s pleas to take the second spot kick as well.
After the game, Neymar appeared to like a pair of tweets criticising Mbappe’s apparent role in the team as the main penalty taker.
The pair were scheduled to be hauled in by PSG to clear the air, but if new reports are accurate then this appears to have not provided the solution Mbappe was looking for.

The World Cup winner has also been left “disappointed” with the club failing to sell Neymar, a move Mbappe did not object to.

Mbappe appeared to have a major sulk during his side’s 5-2 win over Montpellier on Saturday.
The 23-year-old stopped running on a counter-attack when new teammate Vitinha opted to pass the ball to another player.

But former France and Chelsea star Leboeuf believes Mbappe’s behaviour was totally unacceptable, urging the forward to simply “play, shut up and run” in future.
Leboeuf told ESPN: “If I were Christophe Galtier, at the end of the game I would say to him: ‘Kylian, I love you, but what the hell are you doing?
