He scored from the penalty spot, although his side slumped to a 1-1 draw.

And some keen-eyed viewers watching the match realised that a note on the back read “Kylian pref (the right)”.
The short message is thought to relate to a social media post Mbappe shared after PSG’s goalless draw with Reims at the weekend.
He posted a picture of himself with the hashtag “pivot gang” – something Get French Football News say relates to him not wanting to play up front on his own.
So Galtier’s note appears to relate to Mbappe wanting to be on the flank as oppose to playing through the middle.

And it comes just hours after reports that the French international wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions in January.
According to Marca, the relationship between Mbappe and PSG is “completely broken” and there is “no turning back”.
Journalist Daniel Riolo of RMC said: “He is in a negative spirit to the point that he himself says he will leave PSG in January if there is an opening.
“But in any case at the end of the season, it’s over. He’s fed up!”

PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos then came out and denied those reports.
He told Canal Plus: “I am with Kylian Mbappe every day. He has never talked to me about leaving in January.
“It’s not a statement from the player, it’s [from the press], and to have such information before a match like this is very serious.
“That’s why I’m here, to deny and say clearly that Kylian Mbappe has never spoken to me or to the president [Nasser Al-Khelaifi] to leave PSG in January.”

‘Grow up’ – Arsenal and Chelsea legend Emmanuel Petit slams Kylian Mbappe and claims PSG star ‘annoys everybody’

Liverpool are also believed to be the only club who can land him in January.
Mbappe signed a new big-money contract only months ago but his relationship with the staff hierarchy is now “completely broken”, according to Marca.
Relations with the manager also seem to be rocky, with Mbappe appearing to criticise his tactics following a frustrating 0-0 draw at the weekend.
But Petit has hit out at his fellow Frenchman and accused him of a lack of respect.

The former Chelsea midfielder told RMC Sport: “He annoys everyone today. He makes it personal all the time. He even puts himself above the institution. Has everything that has happened in recent months gone to his head?
“You were on the right side when you arrived at PSG, then you were on the left. Now you are in the centre. But it’s never fixed on the pitch. The players up front spend their time moving around and switching in their respective area.
“The club is more important than any one player. Today, Mbappe’s statements are irrelevant and show a lack of respect for the institution, but also for his partners.
“Because by saying that, he is targeting his coach but also certain players. I find that regrettable.”

Mbappe has become involved in several noteworthy spats in recent weeks.
The ex-Monaco man posted the phrase “#pivotman” on his Instagram story following PSG’s goalless draw with Reims on the weekend in what was perceived as a dig at Christophe Galtier’s tactics.
    He quickly deleted the post.
Mbappe also appears to have not won favour with some of his teammates, with Leandro Paredes providing a cold response when asked about his relationship with the Frenchman.
He said: “I am not the one to talk about him. I had a connection with the ones I had a relationship with. But the ones I didn’t have a relationship with, I can’t tell you about them.”
Mbappe also indicated he had a frosty relationship with Neymar amid reports of a rift in the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room.
And the goal-scoring star also found himself making headlines on international duty as he became embroiled in a debate over KFC and advertising.
For all the noise that surrounds him off the field, he continues to be a phenomenal presence on it.
He, Neymar and Messi have combined several times to score beautiful goals, with Mbappe already hitting the net 11 times in 12 games in Ligue 1 and the Champions League this season. More

Kylian Mbappe’s ‘only option to quit PSG in January is LIVERPOOL’ in huge transfer boost to struggling boss Jurgen Klopp

Mbappe’s relationship with PSG is believed to have deteriorated to such an extent that a mid-season exit may be required.
And despite Liverpool’s struggles so far, they were being viewed as the prime candidates if he were to leave Paris in the January window.
The suggestion could be a huge boost to the Reds, who are enduring their worst start to a league season in a decade.
Marca reporter Mario Cortenga believes that Mbappe’s “only way out” of PSG would be to go Anfield.

Liverpool have previously been linked to the 23-year-old and Jurgen Klopp has made no attempt to hide his admiration for the player.
The club have also yet to directly replace Sadio Mane, who left to join Bayern Munich in the summer.
Options do seem rather thin for Mbappe, with the forward already snubbing Real Madrid and Barcelona being riddled with financial issues that would likely put the star out of reach.
But Marca do add that Mbappe still wants to don the famous white shirt at the Bernabeu “one day”.

It was the 28th time that Ramos has been sent off in his fiery career – and he may not have heard the end of it.
The official referee’s report stated that the 36-year-old was sent off for “aggressive” behaviour – without citing specific insulting or abusive language.
RMC claim, however, that Canal Plus footage appeared to show Ramos swearing in Spanish at Gaillouste – an offence that would land the former Real Madrid star in hot water.
Should he be found guilty of such a misdemeanour, Ramos could be banned for anything between two and SEVEN games.

The report does add that he is unlikely to receive the heaviest possible punishment.
Ramos’ red came in the 41st minute with the score level at 0-0.
And while Christophe Galtier’s side didn’t go on to lose the match, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Co were unable to find a winner.
Having hardly featured at all last season after being ravaged by injuries, Ramos has become a regular at Parc des Princes this season.

He is set to be back in action tonight as PSG take on Benfica – with his suspension not applying in Europe.

He said: “I don’t know if he is at fault or not. He first takes a yellow card. I experienced this situation a few years back during Nimes-Lille.
“It is a problem, not cultural, but of football language. I’m sure Sergio didn’t mean to insult the referee but just used an expression that I hear hundreds of times throughout the week.
“It also exists on the ground without it being addressed to a particular person.

But the 23-year-old forward appears to have hit out at his role.
After the 0-0 draw at Reims on Saturday, Mbappe wrote on Instagram: “Match drawn, back on Tuesday. #icicestparis #pivotgang.”
And it’s the last hashtag that has caused the controversy.

The “#pivotgang” suggests Mbappe is unhappy at leading the line on his own, and would rather play alongside another striker.
The World Cup winner has previously admitted he has “more freedom” when playing for France as he plays with Olivier Giroud up front.
Just last month Mbappe vented his frustration at having to play in a “pivot” at PSG.
He said on national duty: “I play differently, they ask me other things here than they ask me at the club. I have a lot more freedom here (with the national side).

“The coach knows that there is a number 9 like Olivier (Giroud) who occupies the defences. Me, I can walk around, go into space, ask for the balls.

It appears Schmeichel has some way to winning over Lucien Favre and his new supporters.

The Premier League winner, who was beaten by a superb Lionel Messi free-kick last weekend, has had question marks over his physique and mentality since he arrived at Nice.

To make matters worse, he angered some by allegedly going over Favre’s head to speak to owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe about being in the team.
