PSG line up transfer for Arsenal ace William Saliba just months after defender finally returned to Emirates

ARSENAL star William Saliba is attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports. The 21-year-old has starred for the Gunners this season after spending the last two campaigns out on loan in France.

However a move back to Ligue 1 could be on the cards as PSG are monitoring his contract situation with Saliba having just under two years left on his deal.
Rumours suggest that there could be some complications over tying the Frenchman down long-term and PSG have already made contact over a possible transfer.
Arsenal are looking to hand improved deals to Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to fight off interest from other teams with confidence that all three will sign.
CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs claims Saliba’s is the most complicated of the trio to get done.

He said: “Compared to Martinelli and Saka, he’s [Saliba] only been back at the club a few months.
“He’s still coming to terms with a lot of voices in his ear. It’s not just Marseille, it’s PSG saying: ‘if you’re that uncertain or unsure about Arsenal, we can potentially bring you in’.
“PSG are definitely still looking for defenders. I see no reason he would want to leave but the only caveat there is he did love living in France. If PSG did come in, it might give him a decision to make.
“Arsenal have confidence but there is a lot more concrete interest around Saliba.”

He has started every Premier League game so far for Mikel Arteta’s side and is swiftly becoming a fan’s favourite having also netted two goals.
Saliba has been praised by both Ian Wright and Cesc Fabregas recently.
PSG are a tad short in central defence after letting Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo leave over the summer and not signing any direct replacements.
Meanwhile Sergio Ramos is now 36-years-old and there has been interest in Presnel Kimpembe previously.
But seeing Saliba move back to a French side would be a shock. More

Kylian Mbappe ‘considering breaking PSG contract’ and thinks the French giants are ‘impossible to trust’

KYLIAN MBAPPE is reportedly close to “breaking his contract” at Paris Saint-German as he desperately searches for a way out of the club.Reports emerged this week that Mbappe wants out as early as January.

Real Madrid were linked before the summer, although Liverpool have now been tipped as the only realistic candidates for his signature.
The 23-year-old is involved in an ongoing saga regarding his future, with the latest developments claiming he thinks PSG are “impossible to trust”.
That’s according to French newspaper L’Equipe, who say Mbappe is considering buying himself OUT of his PSG contract.
He only signed a new deal back in May that runs until 2025 and is worth a whopping £500million.

And finding a way to cancel his contract without paying off the remaining sum appears difficult.
Speaking about Mbappe’s contract situation (CDD), a French lawyer said: “As these are short contracts, they are solidified. In a case like this, it must be demonstrated that the employer has committed a serious fault, a simple fault is not enough.
“The CDDs constitute the whole building of professional football. You do not dismiss or resign from a CDD before its term, you break it so there is a prejudice for one of the two parties and the other must pay him compensation.
“For the employee, it is the remaining wages due until the end of the contract. For the employer, it is the same thing and sometimes more.

“This compensation is equivalent to the amount of the transfer when a player leaves his club before the end of his lease.”
Mbappe could be helped by allegations PSG ran a smear campaign against him and hired social media followers to criticise the French star.
A Mediapart investigation alleges PSG created fake Twitter accounts to lead campaigns against various outlets and employees of the club.
One of those is reportedly star player Mbappe, although PSG have dismissed the claims.
Lawyers are advising Mbappe’s representatives that he could use the allegations to make PSG agree to sell him, but the alternative would be to make a financial offer to terminate his contract.
On the allegations, the lawyer added: “A player could be tempted to highlight the obligation of loyalty to his employer.

“In this case of messages on social networks, a court could consider that PSG ignored its obligation of loyalty, but it will then be necessary to prove the involvement of the employer.”
Mbappe is claimed to be at the centre of a split in the PSG camp, with the Frenchman believed to have just FOUR allies left in the squad.

Just five months after penning a £650,000-a-week contract extension, the 23-year-old has asked out as he feels “betrayed” by the club’s hierarchy.
This has reportedly gone down badly with the majority of the squad, who are tired of Mbappe’s antics and feel that he has been given everything he could have wanted.
The Frenchman’s relationship with Neymar has come under the microscope, with the two having repeatedly clashed.
Mbappe reportedly wanted PSG transfer chief Luis Campos, with whom he is close, to get rid of the Brazilian in the summer.

The two were involved in an on-pitch argument in August, when Neymar demanded to take a penalty during a clash with Montpellier, after Mbappe had missed one earlier in the 5-2 win.
Unfortunately for Mbappe, far more of the squad appear to be on the Brazilian’s side.
According to L’Equipe, PSG’s sizeable South American and Spanish-speaking contingent are fed up with him, and are backing Neymar in the dispute.
Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos is a key ally of his compatriot, who has been in blistering form this season.

Of the remaining members of the squad, only Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele, Hugo Ekitike and Achraf Hakimi are backing Mbappe.
It’s claimed the 2018 World Cup winner was left livid with PSG’s summer transfer business.
Campos and Co recruited seven new stars; Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Ekitike, Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler.
But it’s claimed Mbappe was desperate for them to sign Robert Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva and Milan Skriniar.
Mbappe is also said to be unhappy with how he has been deployed by boss Christophe Galtier.
After PSG’s 0-0 draw with Reims last week, he wrote on Instagram: “Match drawn, back on Tuesday. #icicestparis #pivotgang.”
Mbappe’s use of #pivotgang caused a stir – suggesting he is unhappy at leading the line on his own, and would rather play alongside another striker.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with Benfica, Campos attempted to calm the situation.
He told French broadcaster Canal Plus: “Mbappe has never told me about his intention to leave in January. We speak with him, Messi, Ney… we’re very happy to be here.

“We have to be very clear that this isn’t a declaration – it is news that has come out a few hours before a very important match against Benfica.”
Mbappe scored from the penalty spot in the draw, although Lionel Messi’s stony-faced reaction to the goal was captured by TV cameras.

It is claimed the relationship between the player and club is “completely broken” and that there is “no way back”.

The forward came out and stated he was happy at PSG despite them having just been eliminated from the Champions League.

KYLIAN MBAPPE feels “betrayed” by Paris Saint-Germain after the French champions failed to land his summer targets, according to reports. The forward put an end to months of speculation last May by finally penning what at the time was thought to be a three-year contract extension at PSG.

L’Equipe have revealed all about Mbappe’s unhappiness
It has now emerged that the £650,000-a-week contract was a two-year deal – with Mbappe possessing the option to extend it for a third.
The prospect of him doing so feels remote, however, with the 23-year-old reportedly already seeking a move, sensationally demanding that PSG sell him in January after a breakdown in their relationship.
French paper L’Equipe claim that Mbappe wanted his team to sign Robert Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva and Milan Skriniar during the summer.
PSG ditched former transfer chief Leonardo and appointed Luis Campos in a bid to keep Mbappe happy.

Mbappe was in action last night just hours after news of his desire to leave broke – finding the net from the penalty spot as PSG drew 1-1 with Benfica in the Champions League.
Asked about the chaos surrounding the club by Canal Plus, Campos said: “Mbappe has never told me about his intention to leave in January. We speak with him, Messi, Ney… we’re very happy to be here.

“We have to be very clear that this isn’t a declaration – it is news that has come out a few hours before a very important match against Benfica.”
Galtier, meanwhile, played down Mbappe’s complaints – adding: “I spoke a lot with Kylian at the start of the season and I was very attentive to his comments when he was playing for France, saying that he felt better in Les Bleus’ attacking set-up.
“Across pre-season we spoke with Luis Campos and the president [Nasser Al-Khelaifi] to get a fourth striker, with a different profile, who would allow for two strikers and for Kylian to play as much as possible in his preferred area.

Kylian Mbappe ‘would rather play with Lionel Messi than Neymar’ as PSG ace believes only two of three stars can flourish

KYLIAN MBAPPE remains the talk of the town in Paris and it could see Neymar drop out of the Paris Saint-Germain starting XI. New boss Christophe Galtier overhauled the team’s structure and seemed to have finally unearthed the recipe to unlocking the Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi front three.

However, despite their form playing together, Mbappe believes three really is a crowd and just two of their trio can truly flourish together.
And of the three, he believes the dynamic duo should be himself and Messi – even though the Argentine is expected to quit the club next summer.
Relations between Mbappe’s camp and PSG are said to be at “a breaking point” due to “war inside” the club – stemming from the Frenchman’s demands.
Despite the red-hot form of Neymar and Messi, Mbappe remains the centre of discussion surrounding the club.
