The centre-back has proven to be very loyal to the Foxes after helping them qualify for this year’s Europa League but revealed he has always been a major Marseille fan.
The young Frenchman has been watching L’OM ever since he was a kid but suggested that Leicester continue to be his priority.
Fofana told Oh My Goal: “OM will always be a dream.
“I’m not sure what will happen in my career; I don’t know, I can’t know.
“But it will always be a dream because it’s my city. It’s my club, the one I supported as a kid, and I still support.
“When I watch OM matches, I’m like a fan, I shout, I sing, that’s how it is, it’s my club.

“But between what I want and what I could do, I can’t know, so we’ll see.”
Fofana has already amassed a total of 38 appearances across all competitions for Leicester.
However, the 20-year-old won’t be part of Brendan Rodgers’ defence for quite some time as he has been sidelined until 2022 due to a medial ligament injury.

The France under-21 international sustained that injury during a pre-season friendly match against Villarreal last month.
Rodgers said: “In and around his medial ligament, there was a lot more damage there than we’d hoped.
“The scan showed up it was quite substantial damage there.”

Man Utd face Youri Tielemans transfer battle with Real Madrid and Barcelona also ‘monitoring’ Leicester star

REAL MADRID and Barcelona have joined Manchester United in the bidding war for Leicester star Youri Tielemans, reports suggest.Tielemans has impressed at King Power Stadium ever since the Foxes signed him on a club record £40million fee in 2019.
Leicester star Youri Tielemans has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real MadridCredit: AFP
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that a host of top clubs are now keeping tabs on the midfielder ahead of the next summer transfer window.
Romano reports that United, Real and Barca are among the Belgium international’s suitors.
The Italian journalist added that that this could be one of the most prominent transfer sagas of the coming summer.
United will reportedly make a move for the 24-year-old if they lose Paul Pogba next year.
Pogba’s contract with the Red Devils runs out in June and he doesn’t look close to signing a new deal any time soon.
The star midfielder has previously been linked with a move to Real, who are still keeping tabs on him.

Thus, a potential departure by the France international could clear the path for United to land Tielemans.
According to ESPN, though, West Ham star Declan Rice will also be included on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer list should the Old Trafford manager lose Pogba.
Tielemans has amassed a total of 18 goals and 19 assists in 112 appearances for Leicester across all competitions.
But none of his goals was more critical than his screamer during last season’s FA Cup final, which led to victory over Chelsea at Wembley.

James Maddison sparks Arsenal transfer frenzy with fans by playing poker with his pet dog

JAMES MADDISON proved he is a betting man – but Arsenal fans are desperate their club takes a gamble on the midfielder. The Leicester star, 24, took to Instagram over the weekend with an adorable picture.

Maddison shared a pic in a black t-shirt and backwards cap with his French Bulldog propped up on his lap as they both look over a poker table.
The snap, tagged at Home Sweet Home with one of his England shirts in the background, was liked by more than 76,000 people.
Maddison – whose two dogs are called Diego and Denzel – captioned the post: “We all in bro?”
And it led to a barrage of comments on the post begging the Three Lions international to fold on Leicester and head straight for Arsenal after a summer of transfer speculation.
One wrote: “All in on red.”
Another said: “Gamble and join Arsenal.”

A third, clutching tightly to straws, replied: “In the photo the red and white cards are more than the blue and white meaning he wants to join Arsenal.”
And West Ham ace Michail Antonio, facing Leicester tonight, added: “And out,” with a couple of laughing emojis.
New-dad Maddison was strongly tipped to join the Gunners in the current window.
But with Brendan Rodgers valuing the ex-Norwich ace at £100million, Mikel Arteta turned his attention elsewhere – and did not even enquire about Maddison.
Rodgers said: “There have been things this year around James, it was all paper talk, gossip, because there was never an enquiry, never a bid.”
And last week, Arsenal confirmed the £30m signing of Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid after his impressive loan spell last season.

Maddison is expected to be fit to face West Ham at the London Stadium tonight, despite limping off in the Foxes’ season opener against Wolves last week.
And the No10 is not the only Leicester player honing his gambling skills of late.
As revealed by The Sun, talisman Jamie Vardy banked a cool £30,000 at the Park Lane Casino in London’s Mayfair after lifting the Community Shield.

Leicester launch £15m transfer bid for Southampton defender Jannik Vestergaard after Wesley Fofana injury blow

LEICESTER CITY have opened talks with Southampton over a transfer for Jannik Vestergaard. But Saints are holding out for a deal worth £15m plus add-ons for the central defender.
Jannik Vestergaard could be on his way to Leicester if the Foxes can stump up enough cash for SouthamptonCredit: Getty
Brendan Rodgers has been left short of defensive options and is keen to bolster his back line before the window closes.
Wesley Fofana broke his leg during the pre-season win over Villarreal while Jonny Evans has missed pre-season with a foot problem.
It is understood the Foxes submitted an offer of £15m on Wednesday – but the south-coast club want the extras.
Vestergaard, 29, is into the final year of his contract at St Mary’s, with Leicester tracking him for the last couple of seasons, meaning Saints are open to cash in rather than lose him for free next summer.
The 6ft 6ins Danish defender, an international team-mate of Foxes skipper Kasper Schmeichel, would add experience and much-needed physicality into the defence, especially at set-pieces where Rodgers’ side have struggled.
He excelled for Ralph Hasenhuttl last term, making 30 Premier League appearances – and chipped in with three goals at the other end.
Ironically, he was sent off in the 1-1 draw with the Foxes in April for a tenth-minute lunge on Jamie Vardy – although it was later rescinded.
Vestergaard’s former Southampton team-mate Ryan Bertrand has already made the switch from St Mary’s to the King Power this summer.

Leicester have also been linked with James Tarkowski from Burnley as well as free agents Gary Cahill or Scott Dann as potential options in defence.
Currently, Caglar Soyuncu is the only recognised centre-back from last season fit and available to face Wolves on Saturday following Wes Morgan’s retirement.
Utility-man Daniel Amartey played alongside Soyuncu in the Community Shield win while Filip Benkovic and 17-year-old Ben Nelson also featured in pre-season.

How Arsenal could line up with James Maddison pulling strings in midfield and Tammy Abraham up front after transfers

ARSENAL could have a new-look starting XI next season which will come as a great relief to most Gunners fans. The North Londoners have already made two signings this summer and are edging closer to deals for Tammy Abraham and James Maddison.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team could have a whole new look next season
Arsenal’s only confirmed deals of the summer are Nuno Tavares’ arrival from Benfica and Albert Sambi Lokonga coming in from Anderlecht.
Tavares snubbed a more lucrative offer from Real Sociedad to seal the £8million switch to the Emirates.
And Arsenal confirmed Lokonga has signed a ‘long-term’ contract after the North Londoners agreed to pay £17m for his services.
Left-back Tavares, 21, and centre-midfielder Lokonga, 21, will play in deeper lying roles than Abraham and Maddison who could add a whole new dimension to Arsenal going forward.
Tavares is unlikely to dislodge Kieran Tierney from the first team but one man likely to start is Ben White, 23.
The Brighton centre-back – who is currently enjoying a well-earned holiday in Mykonos – is heading to the Gunners for £50m.
SunSport exclusively revealed on Wednesday Chelsea are prepared to let Abraham join on loan initially to speed up a deal.
The Gunners are emerging as the favourites in a three-way chase for the out-of-favour striker.
London rivals Tottenham and West Ham are also keen to sign the England star who has failed to win over new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea are demanding around £40m for Abraham but the fee is proving a sticking point for any suitors.
A loan deal with an obligation to buy should the player reach a set amount of appearances look like being an ideal compromise.
It would also take Abraham’s salary of around £80,000-a-week off the wage bill to help finance planned improvements in other areas of the squad.

    IT’S A MADDNESS
Elsewhere, the Gunners are reportedly prepared to offer Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles as part of a deal to lure Leicester star Maddison to the Emirates.
Arsenal have been linked with the Foxes playmaker as a replacement for Martin Odegaard, who returned to Real Madrid at the end of last season.
And the Gunners have identified Maddison as the perfect fit, leading them to offer Nelson and Maitland-Niles as add-ons in a possible deal.
The Arsenal duo have failed to establish themselves as anything more than fringe players in North London.
And according to The Mail, Arsenal believe Leicester are willing to negotiate with them.

However, it is also thought Brendan Rodgers’ side are seeking to secure no less than a huge cash sum for the creative midfielder.
Leicester rejected a bid of £70m for Maddison from another Premier League club last summer.
And since then the club have managed to tie him down to a new £100k-a-week, four-year deal.

Leicester playmaker Dennis Praet tells Brendan Rodgers ‘play me or lose me’ as £18m Belgian eyes Italy transfer return

DENNIS PRAET has told Leicester City he is not prepared to sit on the bench again next season. And a return to Italy could be on the cards for the Belgian international this summer.

The 27-year-old cost the Foxes £18million when he signed from Sampdoria in August 2019.
Heading back to Serie A would suit the experienced midfielder who only made three appearances after returning from injury in March.
Praet failed to shift fellow Belgian Youri Tielemans and Wilfred Ndidi and his prospects for regular game time have lessened with the arrival of Boubakary Soumare from French champions Lille.
Brendan Rodgers is prepared to listen to offers for the unsettled Belgian, who has made it clear his future lies away from the King Power if he can’t get game-time for the Foxes.
Meanwhile, Leicester’s interest in Schalke’s Turkish international defender Ozan Kabak has cooled.
Reports suggesting the former Liverpool loanee was set for a medical ahead of a cut-price £8m move to the King Power are wide of the mark.
Kabak currently earns £80,000 a week and the canny Foxes are not prepared to pay that sort of money for a player who would effectively be a back-up to Jonny Evans, Wesley Fofana and Caglar Soyuncu.

Youri Tielemans ‘wants £64m Liverpool transfer this summer with Jurgen Klopp ready to meet Leicester’s valuation’

YOURI TIELEMANS is rumoured to be considering a Leicester City exit with reports that the Belgian is eyeing a switch to Liverpool. The Daily Mail claims the Foxes are pushing for a minimum of £64million from the Anfield club for the midfielder who has two years left on his contract.

It is thought Reds boss Jurgen Klopp sees the player as an ideal replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who departed for PSG on a free transfer.
Tielemans, 24, enjoyed a trophy-winning season with Brendan Rodgers’ side last term, helping them to an FA Cup win.
The Belgian buried a superb long-range shot during the Foxes’ 1-0 defeat of Chelsea in the contest’s final.
Tielemans earned a man of the match award for helping his club win their first-ever FA Cup.

And he netted six goals and provided four assists in 38 Premier League games with the Foxes finishing fifth and a point behind Chelsea.
However, the player had a goalless run in the four games he appeared in for Belgium at Euro 2020.
And the team were beaten by eventual tournament winners Italy in the quarter-finals.
Tielemans began his senior playing career at Anderlecht at the age of 16, where he enjoyed a four-season spell from 2013 to 2017
The midfielder spent two seasons at Monaco before sealing a January 2019 loan move to the Foxes
And the move was made permanent as part of a four-year deal for a fee of around £32million in July that year.
The allure of competing for a Prem title and a possible Champions League trophy is thought to be a draw for the Belgium star.
And Liverpool, who finished third in the top tier last term, will be looking to reclaim the league title as well as Europe’s biggest club prize next season.

Meanwhile, Leicester could be set to lose Tieleman’s team-mate James Maddison.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
And some reports claim the Coventry-born player is a number one transfer target for the Gunners.
